This study aims to identify the ability of teachers to use technology and teacher competencies towards technology-based learning processes. This research involved 35 high school geography teachers in Semarang City. Variables analyzed include technological skill (TS); pedagogic competence (PED); professional competence (PRO); and technology-based learning (TBT) developed by teachers. The questionnaire was used in this research was closed questionnaire model. The collected data was tabulated and continued with Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, ANOVA test, Pearson correlation test and regression test. Based on the result, teacher’s capability in using technology, has no connection with the technology-based learning that designed by them. While professional competency has no significant impact on the implementation of TBT (p = 0.801), with a partial negative value and R2 of only 4%. It can be assumed that the technology-based learning was conducted based more on the ability of teachers to manage class and learning, rather than developing learning  technology. Technology-based geography learning compiled by respondents is based more on the ability to manage classrooms and learning rather than developing learning technology. Based on the result, we recoment to stakeholders to facilitate teacher by providing technology training,  instruments before moving to technology based teaching, and socialization.   Keywords : pedagogic competence, teaching technology, technology skill

Objective: The purpose of the study is to evaluate whether low-dose exposure to benzene, an environmental pollutant to which male and female traffic policemen are daily exposed to could cause alterations in plasma luteinizing hormone (LH) levels. Methods: From an initial sample of 1594 workers, we only selected 95 workers of whom study we knew the values of late-shift benzene and LH hormone. All subjects underwent biological monitoring (final blood benzene evaluation) and luteinizing hormone dosing. Excluding subjects with the main confounding factors, the final sample included 76 workers. The normal distribution of the variables was evaluated using the Kolmogorov - Smirnov test, followed by the logarithmic transformation of the LH and benzene values. The comparison among means was performed by using the t-test for the independent samples. The ANOVA test was performed for variables with more than 2 modes (ages and seniority) and Pearson correlation index between variables in the total sample and after subdivision as to sex, job, sports activity and smoking. The results were considered significant when p values were less than 0.05. Results / Conclusion: The study did not show a correlation between benzene levels and LH plasma levels in outdoor workers.

Predictor Factors Towards Acceptance of e-Government Services ABSTRACT The e-government application was developed to change the way the government operates in the online service delivery system. Thus, this study focused on one of the e-government platforms namely, the MyEG application. This study was aimed to determine the predictor factors that influence consumers’ acceptance using the MyEG application. The framework consisted of four main predictors namely, social influence, performance expectancy, effort expectancy and facilitating conditions, while the dependent variable was the acceptance of MyEG application. A quantitative approach was adopted, by using a questionnaire survey. A total of 396 MyEG application users in the Klang Valley were selected to participate in the survey. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS version 22. Two sampling techniques were used; simple random and purposive. Two statistics procedures were used; descriptive and inferential. The results displayed that the level of acceptance towards the MyEG application was at a moderate level. The Pearson correlation test also revealed a positive and significant correlation between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilities condition and social influences to the acceptance of MyEG application. The analysis showed that users had accepted the MyEG application because it was emphasized the predictor factors. Moreover, the multi regression test found that performance expectancy, facilities conditions, social influences and effort expectancy were among the variables that predicted the acceptance of the MyEG application. However, the overall result showed that performance expectancy was a major factor that contributed to the acceptance of the MyEG application among users. Keywords: e-government, online services, application, predictor factor, acceptance.

BACKGROUND: Anemia is one of nutritional problem in Indonesia, especially in society with low socioeconomic status. There are many factors that can cause anemia, including poor intake of iron rich food and also iron supplement. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to analyze consumption of iron supplement and anemia among adolescent girls. METHODS: This research used cross sectional design involving 251 adolescent girls in Lamongan District, Indonesia. Data on iron supplement intake was measured using questionnaire, food intake was measured using food record and hemoglobin level measured by Quik-Check hemoglobinmeter (Acon Laboratories.inc). Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation test. RESULTS: The average hemoglobin level of respondents was 13.43 ± 1.4 g/dl. The prevalence of anemia among adolescent girls was 13.9%. The average student energy intake was still below the normal Nutrition Adequacy Rate for adolescent girl aged 15 – 18 years old (2125 Kcal per day). The test results using the Pearson Correlation test indicate that the only food intake variables that has significant relationship with hemoglobin levels was energy intake (p=0.02). Their current practice of consuming iron supplementation from government program as well as voluntary or purchased supplement was lacking. However, they did consume government’s iron and folic acid supplement during their junior high school years. CONCLUSION: In conclusion, the current practice in taking iron supplement and food intake among adolescent girls in Lamongan district was poor. However, the prevalence of anemia was low and it was thought to be related to the success of the iron supplement program during the participants’ junior high school (2-3 years ago).

The requirement for objective techniques to observe physical action in its distinctive measurements has prompted the improvement and broad utilisation of motion sensors called Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs), which measures bodily movements. However, although these sensors have been utilised to measure postural balance in both clinical and some specific sports, little or no effort have been made to apply these sensors to the measurement of other physiological indicators in the sport of archery. This study aims to ascertain the postural balance, hand movement, muscular activation as well as heart rate of an archer. An archer was instructed to perform two balance standings, two hand movements and his muscular activations of flexor and extensor digitorum, as well as heart rate, were recorded using Shimmer sensors. The mean movement of x and y-axis of the archer was used to correlate with the Pearson correlation for testing the validity of the sensors. Kolmogorov/Smirnov test was utilised to measure the reliability of the sensors over test re-test in two different tests. The coefficient of determination indicates some positive and negative significant relationships between some indicators. The Kolmogorov/Smirnov test re-test reveals a significant difference between all the indicators in both tests A and B, p < 0.001. The archer was able to present two types of postural standings and exhibited two hands movement while holding the bow. However, his heart rate demonstrated some variability during the executions of the movement in both tests. Thus, it could be concluded that the fusion sensors are reliable in measuring the aforementioned physiological indicators.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Latsar CPNS participants' understanding of the function of ASN (Variable X) on the performance in learning services (Variable Y). Gibson and Spencer stated that performance is influenced by variables of employee knowledge and understanding. The research hypothesis is suspected that there is an influence of variable X on Y. The research was conducted using quantitative methods. The population was 1851 people. Samples based on the Slovin formula were taken as many as 329. The instrument tested with SPSS 18 which is declared valid and reliable. Data normality test, with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test with a value of 0.2 for Variable X and 0.1 for Variable Y less than p 0.05, so the data for the two variables were normally distributed. Simple Linear Regression Test obtained a significance value (Sig.) of 0.012, smaller than the probability of 0.05, which means that there is a significant effect of variable X on variable Y. Furthermore, the Hypothesis Test is continued with the t test, and the t value is 2.524 greater than t table 1.6499 with R Square 0.019. The contribution of variable X to variable Y is only 1.9%. The contribution of other variables that affect the performance of CPNS   teachers by 98.1% still needs further research. This study concludes that there is a positive influence on the understanding of Latsar CPNS teachers about the function of ASN on teacher performance in learning services.
