The aim of this study was to evaluate the degree of the evaluation of the educational management program in light of the academic accreditation standards in the universities of Jordan in Irbid from the point of view of the faculty members. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach and the study sample consisted of (17) faculty members specialized in educational administration. The results showed that the degree of evaluation educational administration program in the light of academic accreditation standards from the viewpoint of faculty members was average (3.47), and a mean of (0.46) and the results showed that there were no significant in estimates of faculty members to the degree of evaluation of the educational administration program due to variables (gender, academic rank, and experience), the recommendations include working on improving the educational administration program in light of the academic accreditation standards in terms of the content and goals, study plan.   Keywords: Evaluation, Educational Administration Program, standards, Academic Accreditation, universities of Jordan.

This study aimed at investigating the reality of risk management in private Jordanian universities from the viewpoint of faculty members. In order to achieve the study objectives, the descriptive analytical approach was adopted. A questionnaire was developed for the purpose of collecting data from (106) subjects that were randomly selected from three private Jordanian universities (Aqaba University of Technology, Zarqa University, and the University of the Middle East). The results of the study indicated that the mean of the reality of risk management practice in private Jordanian universities from the viewpoint of the faculty members was medium. It was also revealed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) in the reality of risks management practice in Jordanian universities especially from the point of view of the teaching staff members due to variables (sex, academic experience, academic rank, and the type of college). The study recommended holding training courses for workers in private Jordanian universities on planning for risk management.Key words: risk management, private Jordanian universities, faculty members.

  The study aimed to know the reasons for the brain drain from the viewpoint of the faculty members at the University of Jordan and to achieve the goals of the study the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach, and the tool was represented in a questionnaire distributed to a random sample of faculty members at the University of Jordan, the number of (100) faculty members , And the SPSS program was used in statistical processing. The results of the study revealed that the overall tool obtained; the causes of brain drain on average (3.82 out of 5) with a verbal (large) estimate and at the level of fields; the field of economic reasons obtained the highest average (4.14) followed by the field of social causes with an average (3.69) and both with a verbal (large) And, thirdly, the field of political causes, with an average of (3.64), with a verbal estimate (average), There were statistically significant differences at the level of (α≤0.05) between the averages of the sample responses attributable to the variable of the college specialization, and for the benefit of the scientific colleges. Aim which enables rare minds to find their specialties within the Arab world.

The purpose of this study is to explore the attitudes of faculty members at higher education toward inclusion for students with high incidence disabilities in higher education. For the aim of this study, a sample of 247 higher education faculty members were therefore collected. Multiple linear regression was conducted for data analysis. Results have shown that university-type accommodation services, training, academic rank, and university region are statistically significant predictors of higher education faculty members’ attitudes toward the inclusion for students with high incidence disabilities in higher education. Some recommendations are hence provided to help improve the inclusion of students with high incidence disabilities in higher education in Saudi Arabia.

The study aimed to find out the extent to which the educational administration departments in the Jordanian public and private universities are committed to performing their social responsibility from the point of view of the faculty members in them. The descriptive analytical method was used. In order to answer the questions of the study, the arithmetic averages, standard deviations, and rank were extracted to the degree of commitment of the educational administration departments in the Jordanian public and private universities to perform their social responsibility, and the triple analysis of variance was used to test the significance of the differences between the variables, in light of the responses of the faculty members to the fields of study, after classifying them within the following levels Gender (male, female), experience (less than 10 years, 10 years or more) and university qualifications (public and private). A tool was developed, consisting of (21) paragraphs, and distributed to the study sample members of the 66), a faculty member in the educational administration departments in Jordanian and private universities for the academic year 2020/2021, and it included three areas: academic programs, scientific research, and activities and events. The study concluded that the commitment of the educational administration departments in the public and private Jordanian universities to perform their social responsibility obtained an overall average (77¸1 out of 3), i.e. a degree of commitment (medium), and at the level of the three domains; The field of academic programs got the highest average (4.¸2), then the field of scientific research with an average (71,1), both with a degree of commitment (medium), and finally activities and events with an average of (58.1) and a degree of commitment (low). The results also showed that there were no differences Statistically significant at the significance level (α = 0.05) between the arithmetic averages of the responses of the study sample members to the tool domains as a whole, and to the variables of gender, experience, and university status. Based on the results, the study may recommend conducting a study on the possibility of integrating social responsibility within the academic accreditation standards.

مقالة بحثية المسؤولية الاجتماعية لجامعة شقراء من وجهة نظر أعضاء الهيئة التدريسية مهنا محمد العصيمي سعد مساعد الشيباني المملكة العربية السعودية الملخص: هدفت هذه الدراسة لبيان دور جامعة شقراء في خدمة المجتمع المحلي أو المسؤولية الاجتماعية وبيان الصعوبات التي تواجه هذا الدور، وقد استخدم الباحثان الأسلوب الوصفي التحليلي للوصول لنتائج هذه الدراسة من خلال تصميم استبانة تم توزيعها على أفراد عينة الدراسة، وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن الجامعة تقوم بدور في خدمة المجتمع المحلي وذلك في عدد من الجوانب المختلفة، مثل إسهام الجامعة في تأهيل الموظفين في المجتمع المحلي من خلال عقد دورات مختلفة، وإسهام الجامعة في الأنشطة الرياضية بالتعاون مع الأندية المحلية. كما أظهرت النتائج أن المحاور المهمة للمجتمع مثل التواصل مع الخريجين، وتقديم دورات في محو الأمية وتعليم الكبار، ومساعدة الخريجين للالتحاق بسوق العمل من خلال برنامج تأهيل مهني، وبتقديم خدمات استشارية للأسر التي يعاني أبناؤها من مشكلات تربوية، وتوفير برامج التعليم المستمر كالانتساب أو الدراسة عن بعد، قد حصلت على ادنى تقييم رغم أهميتها للمجتمع. كما أظهرت نتائج الدارسة أن هناك صعوبات تحد من قدرة الجامعة على القيام بدورها في خدمة المجتمع المحلي مثل، انشغال عضو هيئة التدريس بالأعباء التدريسية المختلفة، وعدم وجود عائد مادي لعضو هيئة التدريس نتيجة مشاركة في الأنشطة الاجتماعية، وانخفاض نقاط خدمة المجتمع المحلي في التقييم السنوي ونماذج الترقية. وعليه فقد أوصت الدراسة بضرورة اهتمام الجامعة بالجوانب المؤثرة على المجتمع المحلي في محاور المسؤولية الاجتماعية والتركيز عليها كونها تخدم المجتمع المحلي وتساهم في تطوره، بالإضافة لمعالجة الصعوبات التي تحد من قدرة أعضاء هيئة التدريس في خدمة المجتمع المحلي. كصرف بدل نقدي لأعضاء هيئة التدريس المشاركين في خدمة المجتمع أو تكريمهم وإدخال تعديلات على النقاط المحتسبة لخدمة المجتمع المحلي في أسس الترقية والتقييم. الكلمات المفتاحية: المسؤولية الاجتماعية، المجتمع المحلي، الجامعات، جامعة شقراء RESEARCH ARTICLE The Social Responsibility of Shaqra University from the Point of View of the Academic Staff Members Muhanna Mohammed Al-Osaimi Saad Musaeid Al-Shibani Researchers - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Abstract The study was designed to demonstrate the role of Shaqra University in the community service or social responsibility, and to explain the difficulties that face the University in this regard. The researchers used the analytical descriptive method to reach the results of this study by designing a questionnaire distributed to the sample members of the study. The results of the study showed that the University plays a role in the community service in different aspects, such as the University’s contribution to the rehabilitation of employees in the community through various course, and the university’s contribution to support activities in cooperation with local clubs. The study showed that important services for the community like communicating with graduates, offering course in literacy and adult education, helping graduates to join the labor market, providing advice to families whose children suffer from educational problems, and proving continuous educational programs such as enrolment or distance learning have got the lowest ranks according to the sample members. The study results also showed that there are difficulties that limit the University’s ability to play its role in the community service, such as the occupation of the faculty members with the various teaching burdens, the absence of a financial return for the faculty members for participation in social activities, and the low points allocated to community service in the annual evaluation and promotion models. The study recommended that the University should focus on and pay attention to the aspects affecting the community in the areas of social responsibility, as they serve the community and contribute to its development. The University should address the difficulties that limit the ability of faculty members to serve the community: disburse a cash allowance to faculty members participating in serving the community, honor them, and make adjustments to the points allocated to the community service in the faculty members’ promotion and evaluation. The study aimed at identifying the degree of practicing academic freedom by faculty members in Jordanian publicand private universities in the Northern Region from the point of view of the faculty members. The researcherapplied the analytical descriptive survey method. The study population was composed of faculty members ofJordanian public and private universities in the Northern Region for the year 2017/2018. Their number was 1210faculty members: 893 males and 308 females. The study sample was 445 males and 155 females, 50% of the studypopulation. To achieve the objectives of the study, a study tool was developed. It is a questionnaire consisting of 50items distributed on 5 domains. The findings of the study showed that the degree of practicing academic freedom byfaculty members in Jordanian public and private universities in the Northern Region from the point of view of thefaculty members on all domains of the tool was medium. Furthermore, there were no statistically significantdifferences at the level of significance (0.05 α ≤) in the degree of practicing academic freedom by faculty membersin Jordanian universities due to the variable of the type of university, and the existence of differences in the degree ofpracticing academic freedom by faculty members in Jordanian public and private universities in the Northern Regioncan be attributed to the academic rank between those whose rank is professor and associate professor on the one hand,and the rank of assistant professor on the other, for the benefit of the rank of professor and associate professor, ie, infavor of the upper rank. The researcher recommended the need to increase the practice of academic freedom by thefaculty members at the Jordanian public and private universities in the Northern Region.

This study aims to identify the obstacles to the application of total quality management at the Saudi University from the faculty members' point of view and to identify the significance of statistical differences in the obstacles to the application of total quality management in Saudi universities from the viewpoint of faculty members according to the variables of gender, academic rank, and college. To achieve the study objectives, the researcher used the descriptive design and quantitative approach, depending on the questionnaire as the main instrument for collecting study data. The study was applied to a sample consisting of (350) faculty members at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, who were selected randomly, the number of questionnaires valid for analysis (277) questionnaires. Among the most prominent results of this study showed that top management obstacles, human resources obstacles, student’s obstacles, financial resources, educational technology obstacles, community service obstacles, obstacles to scientific research, organizational culture obstacles, and educational curriculum obstacles are affecting on implementation of TQM at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University from point of view faculty members. The results showed the top management obstacles came in the first rank among the obstacles that affect TQM implementation, followed by student’s obstacles, while financial resources obstacles and human resources obstacles come in the last obstacles affect TQM implementation at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University from point of view faculty members. This study assessed the excellence management at Taif University by considering the European Model of Excellence (EFQM) in terms of the following dimensions: (1) leadership, policies and strategies, (2) human resources, (3) processes, (4) partnerships and resources, (5) products and services, (6) human resource results, (7) society results and (8) key performance results. The study followed a descriptive (survey and comparative) approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire administered to a random sample of faculty members (n=284) of Taif University. The results indicated statistically significant differences in the score of management of excellence for Taif University in the light of the EFQM from the point of view of the sample members in reference to the following variables: gender, academic rank, and years of experience. No statistically significant differences were observed in the total score for the practice of excellence management at Taif University considering the EFQM from the point of view of the study sample members in reference to the following variables: type of college and number of training programs. The main recommendation of the study was to urge the university to increase efforts to attain a higher level of excellence management practice considering the EFQM.

The study aimed to identify the degree of the practice of the heads of scientific departments of transformational leadership at King Faisal University from the point of view of the faculty members, and the requirements of developing the performance of the heads of scientific departments, and to provide a proposed vision to develop the administrative performance of heads of scientific departments in Saudi universities in the light of transformational leadership. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive method was used in a manner appropriate to the nature of this study. The sample of the study consisted of (166) faculty members. The study reached several results, including that the degree of practicing the heads of the scientific departments of transformational leadership at King Faisal University from the point of view of the faculty members within the average grade of average medium average (3.61), and there were no statistically significant differences due to gender variables, and the number of years of experience, and academic rank, With the exception of the field of empowerment, where the results showed the presence of statistically significant differences for the benefit of the rank of professor, and the results showed that the most important requirements for the development of the performance of the heads of scientific departments in Saudi universities in the light of the transformative leadership approach from the viewpoint of faculty members, was the formation of a general To evaluate and suggestions of faculty members and staff in the department, and create an attractive environment based on communication between employees and touch their needs and concerns, and facilitate the work procedures to be clear to all without complication, and in the light of the theoretical literature of the study and the relevant scientific studies, and the results of the field study has been proposed to develop The performance of heads of scientific departments in the light of transformational leadership. In the light of the results of the study, several recommendations were made, including the provision of a favorable climate for the practice of stimulation and excitement at King Faisal University, and the university's call for the need to design a performance evaluation system for heads of scientific departments based on sound scientific bases, which has the ability to measure the performance of each department head and its contribution to achieving goals Department and College.

This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of distance education in light of the spread of the Corona virus From the teachers' point of view in the northeastern Badia schools, and to achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical approach was adopted, and the study sample consisted of (150) teachers' in the northeastern Badia schools; who taught during the spread of Coronavirus through the distance education system, and the necessary data were collected using a questionnaire whose reliability factor was (0.825) and was applied to the study sample. The results of the study revealed that the study sample's evaluation of the effectiveness of distance education in light of the spread of the Coronavirus from their point of view was average, and their evaluation was of the field of continuity of distance education, the field of obstacles to the use of distance education, the field of interaction of faculty members with distance education, and the field of interaction of students in using Distance education is medium, and the researcher recommended holding training courses for students, teachers and administrators for programs and applications related to distance education, in addition to workshops to train them on distance education tools and strategies, and the need to combine face education and distance education in educational institutions in the future, and provide self- learning materials. For students who are not benefiting from the educational platforms due to the unavailability of the Internet or because of the power outage.
