This study aimed at investigating the reality of risk management in private Jordanian universities from the viewpoint of faculty members. In order to achieve the study objectives, the descriptive analytical approach was adopted. A questionnaire was developed for the purpose of collecting data from (106) subjects that were randomly selected from three private Jordanian universities (Aqaba University of Technology, Zarqa University, and the University of the Middle East). The results of the study indicated that the mean of the reality of risk management practice in private Jordanian universities from the viewpoint of the faculty members was medium. It was also revealed that there are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤ 0.05) in the reality of risks management practice in Jordanian universities especially from the point of view of the teaching staff members due to variables (sex, academic experience, academic rank, and the type of college). The study recommended holding training courses for workers in private Jordanian universities on planning for risk management.Key words: risk management, private Jordanian universities, faculty members.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the degree of the evaluation of the educational management program in light of the academic accreditation standards in the universities of Jordan in Irbid from the point of view of the faculty members. The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach and the study sample consisted of (17) faculty members specialized in educational administration. The results showed that the degree of evaluation educational administration program in the light of academic accreditation standards from the viewpoint of faculty members was average (3.47), and a mean of (0.46) and the results showed that there were no significant in estimates of faculty members to the degree of evaluation of the educational administration program due to variables (gender, academic rank, and experience), the recommendations include working on improving the educational administration program in light of the academic accreditation standards in terms of the content and goals, study plan.   Keywords: Evaluation, Educational Administration Program, standards, Academic Accreditation, universities of Jordan.

This study assessed the excellence management at Taif University by considering the European Model of Excellence (EFQM) in terms of the following dimensions: (1) leadership, policies and strategies, (2) human resources, (3) processes, (4) partnerships and resources, (5) products and services, (6) human resource results, (7) society results and (8) key performance results. The study followed a descriptive (survey and comparative) approach. Data were collected using a questionnaire administered to a random sample of faculty members (n=284) of Taif University. The results indicated statistically significant differences in the score of management of excellence for Taif University in the light of the EFQM from the point of view of the sample members in reference to the following variables: gender, academic rank, and years of experience. No statistically significant differences were observed in the total score for the practice of excellence management at Taif University considering the EFQM from the point of view of the study sample members in reference to the following variables: type of college and number of training programs. The main recommendation of the study was to urge the university to increase efforts to attain a higher level of excellence management practice considering the EFQM.

The study was a survey research; it focused on determining the extent entrepreneurs adopt risk management practices for business management practice in Delta State. The population of the study comprises of 860 business owners who are registered with the Ministry of Commerce and Industries in Delta State. The instrument for data collection was a structured questionnaire with 16 items. Data collected were analyzed using mean and Standard deviation. The null hypothesis was tested using ANOVA statistics at 0.05 level of significance. Findings from the investigation revealed that entrepreneurs in Delta State do not adopt business risk management practices in managing their businesses. It was recommended among others that the Delta State Government and Ministry of Commerce and Industries should sensitize business owners on business risk management practice to enhance business success.

This study aims to show the importance of evaluating the teaching performance level of the University teaching members. It also aims to provide the suggested mechanisms for evaluating the teaching performance of the teaching staff members of Sebha University. This study was based mainly on documents and analytic description to collect information about the importance and ways of evaluating teachers with reference to some of the international experiences on teaching performance development. This study concluded that the absence of an experienced entity that would develop the teaching performance of faculty members is one of the main reasons for the weak teaching performance at Sebha University. Based on the results of the study, it is recommended that there should be a planned system based on measured standards and criteria for evaluating staff members to improve the quality of teaching in the higher education domain.

The study aimed to identify the necessary requirements needed for employing e. learning in the (teaching staff) in the faculty memberof education, from the point of view of the teaching staff. In this study the researcher employed the analytical descriptive method and the size of the sample in which the study was applied was (127) individualsof the teaching staff with a degree of Assistant Professorand above The researcher has employed questionnaire technique as a study tool. The most important findings of the study are: The study has come to the fact that the majority of the researchers managed to answer the study areas which are summarized in (the requirements needed for employing e. learning by the teaching staff، which was specified by this study، these requirements are vitally important from the point of view of the teaching staff. The most important requirements for the use of e-learning in the university faculty member. It consists in possessing the competencies of preparing courses electronically, which means designing the content or electronic curriculum in accordance with the principles of educational design. The most important recommendations of the study are: Providing all the requirements needed to put e. learning into practice (for the teaching staff members) which was determine by the study to employ e. learning in the institutions of the higher education in Sudan.

The purpose of this study is to explore the attitudes of faculty members at higher education toward inclusion for students with high incidence disabilities in higher education. For the aim of this study, a sample of 247 higher education faculty members were therefore collected. Multiple linear regression was conducted for data analysis. Results have shown that university-type accommodation services, training, academic rank, and university region are statistically significant predictors of higher education faculty members’ attitudes toward the inclusion for students with high incidence disabilities in higher education. Some recommendations are hence provided to help improve the inclusion of students with high incidence disabilities in higher education in Saudi Arabia.

The objective of the research was to evaluate the performance of the teaching staff of the Baghdad and Salahaddin University-Erbil from the point of view of the heads of their departments in a number of different colleges as a comparative study. The research community was (247) individuals from the heads of departments in the above universities, and a sample size was chosen randomly was(197) unit, and (134) individuals from the department heads at the University of Baghdad, and (63) unit from the department heads at Salahaddin University-Erbil. To achieve the research objectives, a (closed — open) questionnaire was prepared consisting of (49) paragraphs distributed into six specific fields of alternatives. To answer it and one open question in the questionnaire, the validity and reliability of the questionnaire was verified. The data was analyzed using the (weighted mean equation, the percentage weight equation and the chi-square test). The results showed there was no differences between the responses of department heads in evaluating the teaching performance of faculty members in the research sample in two universities. In addition, a number of proposals were presented to develop the performance of faculty members from the point of view of department heads in both universities. The two researchers made a number of recommendations as well, as well as a number of proposals to conduct future research for researchers in this field.

This study aimed to examine the academic leaders' mastery level in emerging Saudi universities of intangibles management skills and explore the relationship between mastery levels and achieving a competitive advantage. A total of 330 randomly selected teaching staff members at Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University responded to a questionnaire developed by the researcher. Findings showed that (a) the academic leaders' mastery level of intangibles knowledge management skills at university was high, (b) there was a positive relationship between mastery level and achieving a competitive advantage, and (c) there was no statistically significant difference about mastery level due to college type or academic rank or the nature of work while there was a statistically significant difference due to gender in favor of males. Regarding achieving a competitive advantage, the study revealed that there were no statistically significant differences due to college type and academic rank while there was a statistically significant difference due to gender in favor of males and the nature of work in favor of expatriates. The researcher recommended providing the current and the second class of leaders with intangibles management skills and enacting a clear law to protect intellectual capital from strict restrictions by toxic, dictatorial, or bureaucratic leaderships and from the misuse of rigid systems of accountability or traditional censorship.

The current study aims to explore the realm of preparing Islamic education teachers in the light of the intellectual security requirements from the point of view of teaching staff at Taibah University. The researcher used the descriptive approach and designed a questionnaire to review the opinions that consisted of two main topics. The first topic is the intellectual security requirements for the academic preparation program (the Specialist Academic Aspect – the Cultural Aspect – the Educational Aspect “Professional”) to encounter radicalism and terrorism. The second topic is the proposed concept to encounter the obstacles to fulfill intellectual security requirements in the preparation colleges programs. Each main topic is subdivided into a set of clauses (42 clauses) for the two topics. The study sample consists of (83) teaching staff members at the preparation colleges. The study has been applied to the study sample during the first semester of the academic year 1439 – 1440 A.H. The study findings show the following: The first topic achieved (78.55%) of the opinions of the study sample members about the preparation program of the Islamic Education teachers in the light of the intellectual security requirements for encountering radicalism and terrorism. The second topic achieved (93%) of the opinions of the study sample members about the proposed concept to overcome the obstacles to meet intellectual security requirements in the preparation programs. There are no differences of the statistical significance level (50. = ∞) among the study sample members toward the questionnaire according to the faculty type for the first topic and the tool in general. There are no differences of the statistical significance level (50. = ∞) among the study sample members toward the questionnaire according to the faculty type for the second topic and the tool in general.

The study aimed at recognizing the degree of the teaching staff members in Irbid National University employment of citizenship values in teaching from the point of view of students, and also specify if there are differences with statistical significance ascribed to the variables of the study, they are: sex (male & female) and type of the faculty (human and scientific). To achieve the study's objectives, both researchers applied the descriptive-analytical method, employing a questionnaire prepared by both researchers. The instrument of study covered (21) items, they had been distributed after assuring procedures of validity and reliability on a class on a random class sample, its component is (512) male and female students from the community of study amounting to (2592) during the second semester of the studying year (2017-2018). The most prominent results were that the teaching staff member's citizenship values came at a medium degree through the teaching process. Also, differences with statistical significance did not appear ascribed to both variables of sex (male & female) and the faculty (human & scientific). And in light of results, the researchers recommend the University Administration entrust the subject of citizenship greater importance and bid the professors to evaluate those values and enhance them in cultural and academic domains and activities, through the different plans of the studying subjects.
