This article aims to draw a comprehensive overview of some values which exist in Kupatan tradition on Plosokandang society, Tulungagung. The current research implements descriptive analysis, meanwhile the data collection method are interview, observation, and documentation. Kupatan is one tradition which happens by the reason of as a celebration that occurs after Eid al-Fitr. On Plosokandang-Tulungagung, Kupatan is held on the seventh day of Shawwal or 7 days after Eid. The result of the study shows that there is a value of harmony among society while applying kupatan. During kupatan, the people of Plosokandang distributed some kupat and various traditional foods to everyone who came to visit at this event who they didn't even know before. Moreover, the value of social harmony contained in the activity of Kupatan not only in according to Islam, but is also needed for a multicultural country like Indonesia.

Abstract: This article is the result of research on the novel of Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2 by Habiburrahman El Shirazy which aims to describe the values of aqeedah in the novel. This research is library research using a qualitative approach that is interpreted descriptive analysis. The data collection method used by the writer is the documentation method. Then the data analyzed by the researcher uses content analysis techniques. The results showed that the aqeedah aspect found the values of aqeedah in the pillars of faith such as believing in Allah, believing in the angels of Allah, believing in the books of Allah, believing in the messengers of Allah, believing in the last day, and believing in destiny (qadha and qadar).   Keywords: Nilai-nilai, aqidah, dan novel Ayat-Ayat Cinta 2.

<p><em>This paper discusses  qiyas and maslahah mursalah. The goal is to make it easier for us to establish a</em><em> </em><em>law. The data collection method that the writer uses is a literature study in the form of searching for books related to qiyas and  maslahah  mursalah. Qiyas In language (Arabic)</em><em> </em><em>means measuring,</em><em> </em><em>knowing the size of something,  comparing,</em><em> </em><em>or equating something with another. For example</em><em> </em><em> قمت اللوب بالنراع</em><em> </em><em>which means "I  measure  clothes  in cubits." According to Ushul</em><em> </em><em>Fiqh terminology, as stated by  Wahbah al-Zuhaili, qiyas is connecting or equating the Law of something with no legal provisions with legal provisions there is  Illat similarity between the two. The meaning of  Maslahah in  Arabic means</em><em> </em><em>"actions</em><em> </em><em>that encourage human goodness." This article uses the induction and deduction methods and the descriptive analysis approach by conducting a literature study.</em><em> </em><em>The</em><em> </em><em>result shows that</em><em> </em><em>Allah decreed all the laws to his servants in orders/prohibitions containing</em><em> </em><em>Maslahah and benefits. The specialty of this paper is that it is written in detail based on arguments so that it is easy to understand. Qiyas and maslahah mursalah are very important for us to understand more deeply to determine an appropriate law. Maslahan</em><em> </em><em>Mursalah is an extension of</em><em> </em><em>qiyas if there are no more arguments that can support  qiyas.</em></p><p>Artikel ini membahas tentang qiyas dan maslahah mursalah. Tujuannya untuk memudahkan dalam membuat undang-undang. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan berupa pencarian kitab-kitab yang berhubungan dengan qiyas dan maslahah mursalah. Qiyas dalam bahasa (Arab) berarti mengukur, mengetahui ukuran sesuatu, membandingkan, atau menyamakan sesuatu dengan yang lain. Misalnya اللوب بالنراع yang artinya "Aku mengukur pakaian dalam hasta". Menurut istilah Ushulfiqh, sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh Wahbah al-Zuhaili, qiyas adalah menghubungkan atau menyamakan hukum sesuatu yang tidak ada ketentuan hukumnya dengan ketentuan hukumnya terdapat kesamaan illat antara keduanya. Arti Maslahah dalam bahasa Arab berarti “perbuatan -perbuatan yang mendorong kebaikan manusia”. Artikel ini menggunakan metode induksi dan deduksi serta pendekatan analisis deskriptif dengan melakukan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Allah menetapkan segala hukum kepada hamba-hamba-Nya dalam perintah/larangan yang mengandung maslahah dan kemaslahatan. Keistimewaan makalah ini adalah penulisannya secara detail berdasarkan argumentasi sehingga mudah dipahami. Qiyas dan Maslahah Mursalah sangat penting untuk dipahami lebih dalam untuk menentukan hukum yang tepat. Maslahan Mursalah merupakan perpanjangan dari qiyas jika tidak ada lagi dalil yang dapat mendukung qiyas.</p><p><em><br /></em></p>

This research aims to identify the relevance of competency of manufacture drawing subject at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Jatinom compared to the industrial competency needs. The research is a descriptive research. The subjects of the study were students, a teacher of manufacture drawing subject, and drafters working in the manufacturing industry. Questionnaires were used as data collection method. Data were analyzed using statistical descriptive analysis by percentages. The result shows that the relevance of competency of manufacture drawing subject to the industrial competency needs is 74.3%, which is in the category of “medium” relevancy. The learning materials of manufacture drawing subject being taught to the students is 52.3% (highly relevant), while the learning materials itself is 47.7% (medium relevancy).Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui relevansi kompetensi mata pelajaran Teknik Gambar Menufaktur di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Jatinom dengan kebutuhan kompetensi di industri. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa, guru Teknik Gambar Menufaktur dan drafter pada industri manufaktur.  Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah statistik analisis deskriptif dengan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa relevansi kompetensi mata pelajaran Teknik Gambar Menufaktur di SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Jatinom terhadap kompetensi kebutuhan industri adalah sebesar 72% dan termasuk dalam kategori cukup relevan. Materi yang sudah diperoleh oleh siswa tentang mata pelajaran TGM 52,3% yang termasuk kategori sangat relevan, sedangkan 47,7% materi yang diperoleh siswa termasuk kategori cukup relevan.

Literature is an expression of the human person in the form of experiences, thoughts, feelings, ideas, passions, beliefs in a form of concrete images that evoke charm with language tools. Jaranan performance is a ritual art activity carried out by the community as entertainment for the people of the village of Warat Baru and also to resist reinforcements. Semiotics is a science that studies a sign and the meaning in a sign, which is divided into three types, namely icons, indexes and symbols. The purpose of this study is to describe the shape of icons, indices and symbols in the speech of the Jaranan performance mantra in Prangat Baru village, Marangkayu district, Kutai Kartanegara regency. The data collection method used in this research is qualitative research, namely observation, structured interviews, recording, and collection tools in the form of interview instruments, recordings, photos, videos, and translation. The results of the research from the data of mantra speech using semiotic analysis obtained 3 utterances in the form of the 'Prince' icon, 'Sesaji', 'incense lan sela'. Obtained 4 indexes 'Sun Puji Maring Pangeran Mugi Sometimes Mitro Sami', 'Suro Diro Joyo Diningrat Melts Dening Pangastuti', 'Enjoy the offering of supados, enjoy smoothness and protection', 'kula sukani, let Kangge eat the ringgit wayangipun kula'. Get 3 symbols 'Yellow Janur', 'Semeblak koyo Geni', 'Jabang Bayine'. This paper aims to determine the implementation of the principles of good corporate governance at PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk. The principle of good corporate governance included transparency, accountability, responsibility, fairness, and independency. Data collection method in this research is questionnaires and collecting archives and documents. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis method by using instrument quantitative research test (validity and reliability). The results in this study show that, in general, the principles of good corporate governance have been applied properly in order to protect the interests of companies and shareholders. The analysis of responses shows that the principle of responsibility, fairness, and independency has been applied properly, but still to be improved in several factors. The principle of transparency and accountability has been implemented very well.

This research aims to formulate marketing strategy to increase visitors of Gembira Loka Garden and Zoo (KRKB Gembira Loka) in Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research and uses interview, observation, and documentation as data collection method. The data is analyzed by using SWOT analysis with internal and external variable identification. The internal variable shows that location is the main strength of Gembira Loka KRKB with 0.17 by value and 5 by rating. From external variable, the result of EFAS table shows that Gembira Loka KRKB has good enough chance while the thread has less result than the chance. Gembira Loka KRKB is in quadrant 1, which is the position in which a company is considered to be in a beneficial situation due to its chance and strength. In such case, the company can utilize the chance by maximizing the strength. The following strategy to go through in this condition is supporting aggressive planning.

The research aims to uncover the symbols in the novel The Alchemist and to gain knowledge about the moral teachings in the symbol. This research is descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources in this study are words, phrases or sentences in the novel Alchemist. Data collection method is a literature study method with note taking technique. Data were analyzed using description and content analysis methods. The results showed that the novel The Alchemist contained many symbols. These symbols include: (1) wise parents, who symbolize both negative and positive things. From his appearance, parents can symbolize something bad, but behind his old age he symbolizes a knowledge that is very much and wise; (2) stones that symbolize something hard, not easily broken, and can provide clues to something; and (3) deserts or deserts which can be interpreted as symbols of drought, aridity, unattractiveness, emptiness, despair, determination for ignorance, and also as symbols of devotion.

The use of image elicitation methods has been recognised in qualitative research for some time; however, the use of mood boards to prompt participant discussion is currently an under-researched area. This article explores the use of mood boards as a data collection method in qualitative research. Used in design disciplines mood boards allow designers to interpret and communicate complex or abstract aspects of a design brief. In this study, I utilise mood boards as being part creative visual method and part image elicitation device. The use of mood boards is explained here in the context of a research project exploring masculinity and men’s reflexivity. In this article, I consider the benefits of utilising this method in researching reflexivity and gender before offering a critical appraisal of this method and inviting others to explore how mood boards might enhance research projects involving elicitation.
