The author proposes to consider the relationship of social and individual in the form of a triangle with vertices: «loneliness among others,» «all as one» («system»), «complex cooperation of personalities». Individual and truly collective are in a relationship of unity and harmony, and do not confront each other. There is a danger of choosing from two evils: the pole of absolute autonomy or the pole of personal-social unification. Meaningful socialization has two alternatives: «system» and «collective». The need to build educational communities on a collectivist basis is due to political, socio-pedagogical and psychological reasons. The worldviews of pedagogical activity in the system of collective education are revealed, in particular, the value principle «Man is the main goal and the main means of a fruitful educational environment», the activity principle «Everyone is the goal, everyone is the means», the principle of joint existence «Cooperation is the leading type of relationship». The individual educational program is interpreted as the student's ideas about his upcoming educational activities, formed by him in collaboration with other students and teachers. An individual program differs from a «single» program, compiled by a student individually or paired with a tutor, and then implemented autonomously or according tothe principle of a supermarket. In the individual program, educational, club and production blocks are allocated. Conceptual provisions on the system of collective education are disclosed: specific principles of training organization; basic processes (educational, club, production, reflexive-planning); structural units – temporary cooperation of students and teachers, permanent detachments of students, a council of commanders, teacher cooperation, a general gathering of the team; special morphology of teachers – subject, «duty» teacher, didacto-technician, assistant. Four levels of organization of collective education are distinguished: samples, alternating training, constant training in individual segments of an educational institution and collective training throughout the institution. Practical options are called, in particular, a subject-methodological vacation school, multi-day immersion, a «day» without classes and lessons, a different-age group on one subject, a different-age group in the afternoon, a different-age team of a full day.

The book’s epilogue explores the place of musical portraiture in the context of posthumous depictions of the deceased, and in relation to the so-called posthuman condition, which describes contemporary changes in the relationship of the individual with such aspects of life as technology and the body. It first examines Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo to view how Bernard Herrmann’s score relates to issues of portraiture and the depiction of the identity of the deceased. It then considers the work of cyborg composer-artist Neil Harbisson, who has aimed, through the use of new capabilities of hybridity between the body and technology, to convey something akin to visual likeness in his series of Sound Portraits. The epilogue shows how an examination of contemporary views of posthumous and posthuman identities helps to illuminate the ways music represents the self throughout the genre of musical portraiture.

ObjectiveTo determine the stage of training at which neurology residents should achieve individual elements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education neurology Milestones and to examine the relationship between perceived importance of Milestones and the stage by which they should be achieved.MethodsA modified Delphi technique was used to establish consensus postgraduate year (PGY) expectations for neurology Milestone competencies across 3 geographically and administratively distinct Mayo Clinic neurology residency programs. Timing expectations were examined for relationships to perceived importance of the individual Milestones and effects of participant characteristics.ResultsPGY expectations for neurology Milestone elements ranged from PGY 1.3 to PGY 4.1. Extent of rater educational seniority had no effect on PGY competency expectations. There was a moderate inverse relationship between perceived importance of the Milestone element and the PGY by which it should be achieved (rs = −0.74, p < 0.0001).Conclusions and relevanceExpectations for neurology Milestone competency acquisition can be measured and may help inform individual program design, educational expectations, and future Milestone design.

Introduction: at present the reader’s audience is particularly interested in creative experiments in which the historical fate of the Russian peasantry in the «turning» eras is artistically comprehended. The article is devoted to the study of the problem-thematic range of modern Mordovian historical prose. The subject of analysis is the peculiarity of the reception of the period of collectivization and dekulakization in the story by Erzyan prose writer A. Doronin «A Wolf Ravine». Objective: to reveal the features of the artistic reconstruction of the events of the 1930s, the modeling of the relationship between a man and society in the story by A. Doronin «A Wolf Ravine».Research materials: the story by A. Doronin «A Wolf Ravine». Results and novelty of the research: the historical story « A Wolf Ravine » for the first time becomes the object of scientific understanding and is introduced into the context of Finno-Ugric literary criticism. A. Doronin artistically interprets the real events and circumstances of the resettlement of dispossessed peasants of the Volga region to the uninhabited steppes of Kazakhstan. As a result of the study, we conclude that the actualization of this problem-thematic cluster is due to the creative concept of the historical writer; the individual author’s approach to the reconstruction of historical narrative can be traced in the writer’s desire to realistically reveal the relationship of personality and society in the tragic 1930s; to analyze intentions of people and of the psychological states of the characters. Problems of a sociopolitical nature, actualized in the story, are filled with philosophical, axiological content, and lead to a multi-faceted understanding of the «man and history» problem.

Vertical equity states that taxpayers whose positions are not the same should be treated differently while taking into consideration all the relevant characteristics. The main purpose of using the vertical equity principle is to require the redistribution of income in a way that reduces the income inequality of the society. The presented research aims to check the opinion of Slovenian tax system professionals on the principle of vertical equity. Slovenian results have been compared to a similar analysis carried out in Croatia, and partly with survey results from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United States of America. The results show that the professional public agrees with the principle of vertical equity in the implementation of tax systems. All of the compared countries are similarly favourable towards vertical equity. However, this is also affected by the current tax arrangements of the individual countries.

This study focuses on the interconnection and the integration, namely about the relationship of, education and Alquran. This study is a case study that took Pondok Pesantren Al-Aqobah Diwek Jombang as the research location. There are several arguments that form the basis of this research, firstly, this pesantren is applying both the salafiyah boarding school system and the modern system of education of technology and science. Secondly, santris in this pesantren are required to memorize hadis and Alquran using the principle of one day five verses and one hadis. In a matter of months, santris in this pesantren have studied the science of religion which counts generally should be studied in annual time. This research is a qualitative-explorative study that uses the theory of interconnected-integrative paradigm. In accordance with the research theory, the formulation of the problem taken to conduct this research is “what is the paradigm of Quranic based education and how is it implemented in Pondok Pesantren Al-Aqobah”. The methods of data collection are documentation, observation, and interview. The findings of this study are: (1) Educational and Social Institutions of Pondok Pesantren Al-Aqobah Jombang is an educational institution that offers various programs to develop the potential of santri or students using Alquran as the basis for their education; (2) it uses the MIR (Multiple Intelligence Research) method as an effort to explore various kinds of children's abilities, and so that their potencies can be maximized.

The subject of this research is the process of establishment of Irkutsk Fire-Technical School during the 1960&rsquo;s &ndash; 1970&rsquo;s and its professional-pedagogical transformation in the later period of 1990&rsquo;s. The article covers in the details the question of historical-pedagogical peculiarities in recruitment of the faculty staff of the school with academic personnel at the initial stage. The author explores the question of professional skills of the temporary and permanent academic staff in realization of training, marching drill and combat activities. In the course of this research the author determines and analyzes the factors that influenced the establishment and development Irkutsk Fire-Technical School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of USSR during the 1960&rsquo;s &ndash; 1970&rsquo;; as well as peculiarities of pedagogical activity in the formative stage of the educational institution. The article examines the relationship of the cadets and staff members of the school with the service branches. The presented research is relevant for broad audience, since the establishment and development of departmental institution of system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of USSR in the territory of Baikalia during the 1960&rsquo;s became a milestone event for education system of the entire Siberian Region.

According to popular belief, aged persons as a group are greater victims of crime than those in any other age group, but available data from a variety of surveys show that the aged, in fact, are among the least victimized. Statistics on factors making for dif ferential victimization among elderly persons are described. Special attention is given to the possible impact of housing "protectiveness" and age-concentration on victimization, concern about crime, and fear. Three hypotheses on the relationship of these factors are discussed.

Aim: The aim of this research is to identify the Novak’s relationship of ‘liquid architecture and music’ as an approach that diverges from the architecture music relationships that have been built throughout the historical process. Method: In describing the approach, initially, the intellectual and critical foundations and features of liquid architecture were emphasized, and subsequently, its relationship with music was discussed through case studies in comparison to the current relationship between architecture and music. Results: When the current relationships of the architecture and music are evaluated, the attitude apart from the arising sensations and affections doesn’t exist within the relationship of liquid architecture and music. Liquid architecture, which has characteristics such as continuity, timelessness, plurality, poetry and obscurity, acquires the characteristics of the individual varying based on his/her body, senses, perceptions, and emotions as the way of producing architecture. It is claimed that the liquidity approach will influence music and architecture in different ways than is known, and that music will transform into a new form of architecture, while architecture becoming a new form of music. In this context, it extends ‘beyond (trans-)’ the limits of current approaches. Conclusion: The sixth category of methodical approaches in architecture music interaction can be defined as the relationship of liquid architecture and music. The way it relates to music and the way it produces architecture also suggests a direction of development to concrete architecture and virtually warns about renewing its theory and tools.
