Tuberculosis (TB) can infect all age groups, even children. Three provinces in Indonesia namely West Java (14%), Papua (13%), and Bangka Belitung provinces (11%) have the highest proportion of children with TB disease. Some previous research reveals that there is a relationship between exclusive breastfeeding and BCG immunization status of children with TB disease. This current study identified the increasing trend of children (aged 0-14 years) with TB disease in Bangka Belitung province based on the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding and BCG immunization. It was observational research with a cross-sectional design. Data were retrieved from seven districts/cities in Bangka Belitung province in 2015-2017. The unit of analysis was the number of overall TB cases, the percentage of BCG immunization coverage, and exclusive breastfeeding. The data were analyzed using the Health Mapper application version 4.3.0.0 with product version 4.03. The number of children (aged 0-14 years) with TB disease increased from 2015-2017, and BCG immunization coverage and exclusive breastfeeding decreased in 2015-2016 only, but swelled in 2016-2017. The number of TB cases was still high despite the high coverage of exclusive breastfeeding and BCG immunization. Several factors such as the quality of vaccines and exclusive breastfeeding might influence the prevalence of TB in children. Future studies should employ more variables to garner more references.

The readiness of medical record units needs to be assessed to see what documents and implementations do not yet exist and are done. Identification of readiness of Clinic X medicalrecord unit accreditation was carried out two years earlier in 2015.Aims: The purpose of this study was to determine the continuity of readiness of medical record unit accreditationin 2018.Method: This study was an observational descriptive study using a cross-sectional design. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with medical record officers., Analysis was done by comparing the prediction of Clinic X medical record unit accreditation readiness scores between 2015 and 2018.Results: The result showed that the prediction score increased from 41.7% in 2015 to 65.8% in 2018. The comparison of readiness for accreditation can be used as an evaluation to complement the needs of documents that do not yet exist and procedures that have not been implemented. Conclusion: The clinic has not been accredited because most of the elements being evaluated were the incomplete supporting documents. This study aimed to evaluate the general quality of life (QoL) of Brazilian vegetarians. A cross-sectional study was conducted with Brazilian vegetarian adults (18 years old and above). Individuals were recruited to participate in a nationwide online survey that comprised the WHOQOL-BREF as well as sociodemographic and characterization questions related to vegetarianism. The WHOQOL-BREF is composed of 24 items which are divided into four domains (domain 1: physical health; domain 2: psychological well-being; domain 3: social relationships; and domain 4: environment), plus two general items which were analyzed separately, totaling 26 items. The answers from the questionnaire were converted into scores with a 0–100 scale range, with separate analyses for each domain. Results were compared among groups based on the different characteristics of the vegetarian population. A total of 4375 individuals completed the survey. General average score results were 74.67 (domain 1), 66.71 (domain 2), 63.66 (domain 3) and 65.76 (domain 4). Vegans showed better scores when compared to the other vegetarians, except in domain four, where the statistical difference was observed only for semi-vegetarians (lower score). Individuals adopting a vegetarian diet for longer (>1 year) showed better results for domains one and two, with no difference for the other domains. Having close people also adopting a vegetarian diet positively influenced the results for all domains. On the other hand, it was not possible to distinguish any clear influence of the motivation for adopting a vegetarian diet on the scores’ results. Adopting a vegetarian diet does not have detrimental effects on one’s QoL. In fact, the more plant-based the diet, and the longer it was adopted, the better the results were.

Prisoners in the correctional area are faced with unexpected situations and conditions. Prisoners ability to solve problems will affect the level of quality of life (QOL). However, research that focused on QOL levels based on age and education is not yet available, so this research is essential. This study applied a cross-sectional design with systemic random sampling and purposive sampling techniques. QoL measurements were carried out at 120 male prisoners using WHOQOL BREF instruments that have been tested as valid and reliable. The study was conducted in one of the Prisons in Central Java Province in September 2019. Inclusion criteria were no family visits, occupation of prisons for less than 18 months, general crime, and no cognitive impairment. The results showed that male prisoners with late adulthood and high school education had higher QOL mean rates of 88.5 and 87.6. The conclusion is the level of QOL related to age and high education.
