AbstractThe unusual situation derived from the COVID-19 crisis has forced teachers and students to reinvent themselves, using new teaching methods and applying online technologies that allow an efficient distance learning. As a consequence, in the practical subject Experimentation in Chemical Engineering II, of the Degree in Chemical Engineering, the theoretical explanations necessary to carry out the experimentation have been carried out online and synchronously through the Microsoft Teams platform, as a prior step to attendance to the laboratory. The sessions were recorded and made available to the students for their consultation. Thus, physical contact between student and teacher and between students was minimized. On the other hand, in the subject Regulation of Chemical Processes, the evaluation of simulation practices has been modified and, instead of asking students for extensive reports, they were asked to complete a questionnaire in Moodle.

The Problem-Based Learning (ABP) methodology requires an evaluation approach in which a series of specific and transversal competencies are evaluated. This evaluation must be formative allowing students to identify and correct mistakes in time. Therefore, it is necessary to have tools in order to evaluate suitably the learning outcomes and established competencies. In the subject of Corrosion which belongs to the second course of the Master of Chemical Engineering, the ABP has been evaluated through a report to be handed after each ABP session, where the main conclusions are collected after the cooperative resolution of the proposed problem and, on the other hand, by means of the notes taken by the teachers and students (co-assessment and self-assessment), after the oral presentation of the results and conclusions of the practice. In this work, for each of these evaluation activities, specific rubrics have been developed. From the different evaluation activities, it can be affirmed that the rubrics used are effective for the evaluation of the ABP methodology activities. In addition, it was possible to verify that the students have reached the learning results and it was also possible to detect the corrosion issues that pose the greatest difficulty to the students.

Online learning is a learning via internet without meeting face-to-face between teachers and students. This online learning system is relatively new, therefore teachers and students should adapt quickly. This study aims to determine the online Arabic learning system during the COVID-19 pandemic at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri (MTsN) 1 Surakarta. Researcher used a qualitative approach and observation, interview, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results described that e-learning madrasah was used as the main media for online Arabic learning at MTsN 1 Surakarta during the covid-19 pandemic, then assisted by Whatsapp and Youtube channel. The subject matter was presented in video, powerpoint, and pdf. The learning stages were divided into three: preparation, implementation (pre-activities, whilst-activities and post-activities), and evaluation stage. This online learning helps teachers to coordinate with and supervise students easily, on the other hand, it is difficult for them to monitor the students’ understanding and bad internet network make some students could not follow the learning process in time.

The problem that is the subject of the study in this study is the madrasah chief's strategy in implementing supervision to improve the quality of Islamic education, and the factors that influence it. This study uses a qualitative approach, and the instruments used in data collection by researchers include interviews, observation and documentation. The informants from this study are the Heads, Waka, Teachers and Students. The technique used to check the credibility of the data is the extension of the presence of the researcher, in-depth observation, triangulation, detailed description and analysis of negative cases. The results of the study show that the madrasah chief's strategy in implementing supervision to improve the quality of management of Islamic education institutions is to use several methods, which are varied and some of the approaches taken by the head of the madrasah which can then improve the quality of education in this educational institution, then the other is to use an approach individuals, group approaches, educational approaches, religious approaches or religious approaches, fulfillment of school facilities and infrastructure, appreciation of student learning and so on. While the factors that influence the madrasah chief's strategy in implementing supervision to improve the quality of Islamic education institutions are positive factors which include the existence of adequate human resources, student awareness, and also the existence of cooperation between existing education practitioners, complete facilities and infrastructure, then the teacher's creativity in teaching.

The Problem-Based Learning (PBL) methodology was first introduced in a Corrosion course of the Master of Chemical Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, during the 2018-2019 academic year. Different problems related to all these concepts were designed and presented as a problem-based learning methodology. To evaluate the use of this type of active methodology, an individual and anonymous survey was proposed to the students and, on the other hand, students developed in groups a matrix of present and future scenarios for the subject. It is important to point out that although for many students (67%) this was the first time they worked with the PBL methodology in class, all of them consider that it is useful and most of the students (89%) consider that PBL methodology will help them to face real corrosion problems in the future.

The respective roles of the ribo somes, endoplasmic reticulum, Golgi apparatus and perhaps nucleus in the synthesis and maturation of melanosomes is still the subject of some controversy. While the early melanosomes (premelanosomes) have been frequently demonstrated to originate as Golgi vesicles, it is undeniable that these structures can be formed in cells in which Golgi system is not found. This report was prompted by the findings in an essentially amelanotic human cellular blue nevus (melanocytoma) of two distinct lines of melanocytes one of which was devoid of any trace of Golgi apparatus while the other had normal complement of this organelle.

Starting with the controversial esoteric employment of audio recordings by followers of the charismatic Muslim preacher Sharif Haidara in Mali, the article explores the dynamics emerging at the interface of different technologies and techniques employed by those engaging the realm of the Divine. I focus attention on the “border zone” between, on the one hand, techniques for appropriating scriptures based on long-standing religious conventions, and, on the other, audio recording technologies, whose adoption not yet established authoritative and standardized forms of practice, thereby generating insecurities and becoming the subject of heated debate. I argue that “recyclage” aptly describes the dynamics of this “border zone” because it captures the ways conventional techniques of accessing the Divine are reassessed and reemployed, by integrating new materials and rituals. Historically, appropriations of the Qur’an for esoteric purposes have been widespread in Muslim West Africa. These esoteric appropriations are at the basis of the considerable continuities, overlaps and crossovers, between scripture-related esoteric practices on one side, and the treatment by Sharif Haidara’s followers of audio taped sermons as vessels of his spiritual power, on the other.
