ABSTRACT   This research aims to know the difference between snacking habit and nutritional status of catering and non-catering food consumer in SD-UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh as well as knowing the corelation between snacking habit and nutritional status in SD UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh. This research used cross sectional design with thirty eight respondents were collected by Simple Random Sampling method. Snacking habit was obtained by using FFQ. The data were analyzed by using Chi-Square and Mann Whitney analysis. Univariate analysis showed that the snacking habit on catering food consumers was 28.5%, whereas on non-catering food consumers was 76.5%. Bivariate analysis result showed the difference between snacking (p= 0.004) and nutritional status ( p= 0.044) on catering and non-catering food consumers in SD UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh. There was no corelation between snacking habit and the nutritional status in SD UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh (p= 0,117) and ( p=0,142). There was difference in snacking habit and nutritional status on students who were catering and non-catering consumers in SD UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh and there was no corelation between snacking habit and nutritional status in SD UMP Purwokerto and SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh.  Key words: Snacking habit, Nutritional status, catering food, non-catering food.  ABSTRAK Kebiasaan mengonsumsi jajan dapat mempengaruhi status gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kebiasaan jajan dan status gizi anak sekolah pengguna katering dan non-katering serta mengetahui hubungan kebiasaan jajan terhadap status gizi di SD UMP Purwokerto dan SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional dengan 38 responden dengan metode Simple Random Sampling. Kebiasaan konsumsi jajan diperoleh menggunakan FFQ. Data di analisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan uji Mann Whitney. Hasil uji univariat menunjukkan bahwa pada anak sekolah pengguna katering kebiasaan jajan yaitu sebesar 28,5% sedangkan anak sekolah yang non-katering sebesar 76,5%. Hasil uji bivariat menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan kebiasaan jajan ( p = 0,004) dan status gizi ( p= 0,044) pada anak sekolah pengguna katering dan non-katering di SD UMP Purwokerto dan SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh serta tidak terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan jajan terhadap status gizi di SD UMP Purwokerto dan SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh (p= 0,117) dan (p= 0,142). Terdapat perbedaan kebiasaan konsumsi jajan dan status gizi pada anak sekolah pengguna katering dan non-katering di SD UMP Purwokerto dan SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh serta tidak terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan mengonsumsi jajan terhadap status gizi di SD UMP Purwokerto dan di SDN 2 Dukuhwaluh.  Kata Kunci: Kebiasaan jajan, Status Gizi, katering, non-katering.

AbstrakMalnutrisi pada anak masih menjadi masalah kesehatan utama di dunia. Data dari WHO pada tahun 2010 menunjukkan sebanyak 18% anak usia di bawah lima tahun di negara berkembang mengalami underweight. Keadaan kurang gizi dapat meningkatkan risiko terkena penyakit infeksi karena daya tahan tubuh yang menurun. Sebaliknya, penyakit infeksi juga dapat memengaruhi status gizi karena asupan makanan menurun, malabsorpsi, dan katabolisme tubuh meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan apakah terdapat hubungan antara diare dengan status gizi balita. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu dan balita usia 12-60 bulan yang bertempat tinggal di Kelurahan Lubuk Buaya. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 145 orang dengan metode proportionate random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner untuk mengetahui riwayat diare dalam sebulan terakhir dan penimbangan berat badan. Data diolah dengan uji statistik chi square menggunakan program SPSS 17.0. Hasil analisis univariat menunjukkan terdapat balita berstatus gizi baik (84,1%), status gizi kurang (13,8%), dan status gizi buruk (2,1%). Terdapat 25,5% balita yang pernah mengalami diare dengan rerata durasi diare 3,0 hari. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan bermakna antara diare dengan status gizi (BB/U) balita di Kelurahan Lubuk Buaya (p=0,742). Penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara diare dengan status gizi balita di Kelurahan Lubuk Buaya Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang.Kata kunci: status gizi balita, diareAbstractMalnutrition in children is still a major health problem in the world. Malnutrition may increase the risk of infectious disease because the immune system is decreased. Otherwise, infectious disease can also affect the nutritional status because of decreased food intake, malabsorption, and increased body catabolism. This study aimed to determine association between diarrhea and nutritional status of children. The study was an observational study with cross sectional design. The population is mother and children aged 12- 60 months residing in Lubuk Buaya Village. There are 145 samples taken with proportionate random sampling method. Data were collected with questionnaire to determine the history of diarrhea in the last month and weighing. The data were processed with chi square test by using SPSS 17.0 program. Results of univariate analysis showed that there are children with good nutritional status (84,1%), underweight (13,8%), and poor nutritional status (2,1%). There are 25,5% children had diarrhea with average duration of illness 3,0 days. Results of bivariate analysis showed no significant association between diarrhea and nutritional status (weight/age) of children in Lubuk Buaya Village (p = 0,742). This study showed no association between diarrhea and nutritional status of children in Lubuk Buaya Village, Koto Tangah Subdistrict, Padang City.Keywords: nutritional status of children, diarrhea

Toddlers are vulnerable groups that must be considered especially the fulfillment of nutritional intake. Balanced nutrition in infancy plays an important role in increasing human resources in the future, but malnutrition in infancy affects the growth and development of children's brains that are irreversible or unable to recover. The problem of malnutrition is still a major problem in Indonesia despite the many efforts and prevention programs that have been made. This study aims to analyze the determinant of toddler nutrition status in farmer's families in Halilulik Health Center Belu District in 2019. This research used an analytic survey with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this research were 94 toddlers who were in the Halilulik Health Center Community. Data analysis used was univariate analysis, bivariate analysis and multivariate analysis with chi-square and multiple logistic regression tests. The results of this research showed that the variables of mother's knowledge (ρ=0.032), level adequacy of energy (ρ = 0,000), level adequacy of protein (ρ=0,000) and history of infectious disease (ρ=0,002) have correlation with Toddler Nutrition Status, while families food processing habits (ρ=0,739) and families eating restrictions (ρ=0,617) did not have any correlation with Toddler Nutrition Status. The dominant factor that most influences the nutritional status of toddlers is the level adequacy of energy followed by the level adequacy of protein. Nutrition toddlers have less levels of energy and protein intake compared to toddlers with good nutritional status. Consumption of foods that are diverse and varied needs to be considered, especially foods that are sourced with energy, protein, and fat to reduce the problem of malnutrition in infants.

Latar belakang : pelaksanaan perilaku bersih dan sehat pada tatanan keluarga bertujuan memberdayakan anggota keluarga untuk tahu, mau dan mampu menjalankan perilaku kehidupan yang bersih dan sehat. Perilaku tidak sehat  dapat menjadi  penyebab munculnya  penyakit atau masalah kesehatan seperti diare dan batuk pilek. Tujuan : penelitian ini untuk memperoleh gambaran perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat masyarakat di Desa Wangunjaya pada komponen pengetahuan, sikap dan tindakan pelaksanaan PHBS. Subjek dan metode : populasi penelitian  ini adalah seluruh kepala keluarga di Desa Wangunjaya. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 206 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling.  Analisa data dilakukan dengan melakukan analisis unuvariat dengan penyajian data deskriptif analitik dan analisis bivariat dengan Uji Chi Square dengan melihat ukuran OR (Odds Ratio) untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan proporsi variabel yang diteliti untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel. Hasil : penelitian mendapatkan hasil varibel pengetahuan (58,3%), sikap (51,5%) dan pelaksanaan PHBS (41,7%) dalam kategori kurang. Pengetahuan memiliki hubungan dengan tindakan pelaksanan PHBS (p value =  0,000). Variabel sikap memiliki hubungan dengan tindakan pelaksanan PHBS (p value = 0,006). Kesimpulan : pengetahuan yang baik memiliki peluang 3,569 kali untuk tindakan PHBS yang baik. Sikap yang baik memiliki peluang 2,288 kali untuk tindakan PHBS yang baik. Unhealthy behavior can cause illness or health problems such as diarrhea and cold coughs. The aim of the study : to obtain an overview of the clean and healthy behavior of the community in Wangunjaya Village on the components of knowledge, attitudes and actions in implementing of clean and healthy behavior. Subjects and methods : the population of this study were all heads of families in Wangunjaya Village, Cianjur. The sample of this research is 206 people. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. Data analysis was carried out by univariate analysis by presenting descriptive analytic data and bivariate analysis with the Chi Square Test by looking at the OR (Odds Ratio) size to determine the difference in the proportion of the variables studied to see the relationship between the variables. Hyperbilirubinemia is one of the clinical phenomena most often found in neonates occurring in the first week of life, which is also one of the factors causing infant death is influenced by the immature liver function of the baby to process erythrocytes (red blood cells), resulting in the accumulation of bilirubin. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of birth weight of infants with the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia in RSUD dr. Ibnu Soetowo Baturaja Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2019. This study uses analytic methods with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was all infants aged 0-7 days in the neonatal room at RSUD dr. Ibnu Soetowo Baturaja Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in 2019, with a random sampling. Data analysis uses univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using distribution tables and Chi-Square statistical tests, with a 95% confidence level. In the univariate analysis, of 203 respondents found 26.5% had hyperbilirubinemia and those without hyperbilirubinemia 72.5%, 24.6% of infants with LBW and non-LBW infants 75.4%. Bivariate analysis showed that there was an LBW relationship with the incidence of hyperbilirubinemia (p-value 0,000).

Latar Belakang :Kehangatan dada ibu dapat menghangatkan bayi, sehingga apabila bayi diletakan di dada ibunya segera setelah melahirkan atau dilakukan Inisiasi Menyusu Dini, dapat menurunkan resiko hipotermia dan menurunkan kematian bayi baru lahir akibat kedinginan atau hipotermia. Tujuan : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan suhu tubuh bayi baru lahir antara bayi yang berhasil melakukan IMD dan bayi yang tidak berhasil melakukan IMD Metode  :Analitik,desain cross sectional,populasi semua bayi baru lahir, sampel bayi barulahir, teknik Non Random Sampling, pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan Lembar Observasi dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan nilai signifikan α = 0.05 yaitu bila hasil uji statistik menunjukan p ≤ α maka H0 ditolak. Hasil      :Suhu tubuh bayi baru lahir yang berhasil melakukan IMD sebagianbesardengansuhutubuhtidakhipotermisebanyak 20 bayi (87%) Suhu tubuh bayi baru lahir yang tidak berhasil melakukan IMD sebagianbesardengansuhutubuhhipotermisebanyak 8 bayi (66,7%). Dari hasil uji statistik diperoleh hasil nilai p = 0,005 < α = 0.05 maka H1 diterima, artinya ada Perbedaan suhu tubuh bayi baru lahir yang berhasil melakukan IMD dan yang tidak berhasil melakukan IMD Kesimpulan :Terdapat perbedaan suhu tubuh bayi baru lahir antara bayi yang berhasil melakukan IMD dan bayi yang tidak berhasil melakukan IMD.   Kata kunci : Inisiasi Menyusu Dini, Suhu Tubuh Bayi Baru Lahir                                                                                               THE DIFFERENCE BODY TEMPERATURE BETWEEN BABIES WHO SUCCESSFULLY INITIATE BREASTFEEDING EARLY AND BABIESWHO FAIL TO INITIATE EARLY BREASTFEEDING AT RSIA KIRANA SIDOARJO 2019  Background : The warmth of the mother’s chest can warm the baby, so that when the baby is in the mother’s breast immediately after birth or initiated early breastfeeding can reduce the mortality rate of newborns due to hypotermia.Purpose :the purpose of this study was to determine the difference in body temperature of newborns between infants who successfully initiated early breastfeeding and infants who did not succeed in initiating early breastfeedingMethods : analytical, cross sectional design, population 40 newborns, samples 35 newborns, Non Random Sampling techniques, the data accumulation using observation sheets and using chi-square test, with significant value α = 0.05 is when the statistical test results show p ≤ α then Ho is rejected.Result : The body temperature of the newborn who succeeded in initiating early breastfeeding was 36.78ºC with 23 (65.7%) of infants none having hypothermia, the newborn baby's body temperature that did not succeed in doing this early breastfeeding was 35.78ºC With 8 infants experiencing hypothermia, while 4 babies with normal temperature. From the results of statistical tests obtained results with the value p = 0,000 <α = 0.05 then H1 accepted, meaning there is a difference in body temperature of a newborn who successfully initiated early breastfeeding and who did not succeed in Early Breastfeeding Initiation. Conclusion : There is a difference in the body temperature of a newborn between infants who successfully initiated breastfeeding and infants who are not successful in initiating early breastfeeding....Keywords : Early breastfeedinginitiation, newborns temperature

ABSTRACT Background: Based on RISKESDAS data from 2007, 2013, and 2018, the prevalence of injuries in Indonesia had increased from 7.5%, 8.2%, and 9.2% respectively. In 2018, the proportion of injuries ranked 12th place in morbidity in Indonesia with the highest cases in Central Sulawesi Province (13.8%). This study aimed to determine of injury inci­dents in the productive aged groups in Central Sulawesi. Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sectional design conducted in Central Sulawesi from October 2019 to January 2020. A total of 1,323 reproductive-aged household mem­bers was selected by random sampling method. The dependent variable was the incident of injury. The independent variables were age, gender, level of education, employment status, and nutritional status. The data were collected from secondary data of basic health research data in 2018 with household dan individual questionnaires. Bivariate analysis was performed by chi-square method. Results: The bivariate analysis showed that the incidence of injury among the productive aged groups increased with age (OR= 1.50; 95% CI= 1.10 to 2.05; p= 0.021), gender (OR= 1.29; 95% CI= 1.03 to 1.62; p=0.030), level of education (OR= 2.01; 95% CI= 1.14 to 3.56; p= 0.010), employment status (OR= 1.86; 95% CI= 1.19 to 2.90; p= 0.005), and nutritional status (OR= 0.77; 95% CI= 0.55 to 1.07; p= 0.033). Conclusion: The incidence of injury among the productive aged groups increases with age, gender, level of education, employment status, and nutritional status. Pencemaran lingkungan akibat sampah plastik semakin mengkhawatirkan apabila tidak ada usaha untuk mengatasinya. Masyarakat yang kurang pengetahuan dan berperilaku buruk dalam pengelolaan sampah plastik dapat menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan ibu rumah tangga dengan perilaku mengelola sampah plastik. Penelitian dilakukan di Dusun Kedesen, Desa Kradenan, Kecamatan Kaliwungu, Kabupaten Semarang Tahun 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan studi cross sectional, dengan sampel berjumlah 74 orang yang diambil secara secara acak sederhana. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara terstruktur menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat dengan uji statistik Kai Kuadrat (X2). Penelitian menemukan sekitar 56,8% responden berpengetahuan tidak baik dan sekitar 60,8% responden berperilaku tidak baik. Analisis bivariat menunjukan hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan ibu rumah tangga dengan perilaku mengelola sampah plastik. Ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan ibu rumah tangga dengan perilaku mengelola sampah plastik di Dusun Kedesen, Desa Kradenan, Kecamatan Kaliwungu, Kabupaten Semarang tahun 2012.Pollution caused by plastic increase worrying if there is no attempt to resolve it. Lack of knowledge and poor people’s behavior in the management of plastic waste can cause environmental and health problems. Management of plastic waste can be started from each household who produce plastic waste. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between the level of housewife’s knowledge with the behavior to manage of plastic waste at Kedesen, Kradenan Village, District Kaliwungu, Semarang in 2012. The study was analytic survey with cross-sectional design. Sample was 74 respondents with simple random sampling. Research tool used was a questionnaire. Analyzed used univariate and bivariate analysis with statistical test Chi Square(X2). The results showed 74 respondents obtained from 42 respondents (56.8%) are not well knowledgeable, 32 respondents (43.2%) both knowledgeable. There were 45 respondents (60.8%) did not have good behavior, while 29 respondents (39.2%) had good behavior. Bivariate analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge with behavior of housewives in managing plastic waste at the hamlet Kedesen. Statistical results showed the value (p = 0.000) smaller than alpha (a = 0.05). There was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge with behavior of housewife in managing plastic waste at Kedesen Hamlet, Village Kradenan, Kaliwungudistrict, Semarang regency in 2012.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan gejala gangguan syaraf pada petani penyemprot yang menggunakan pestisida di Kanagarian Alahan Panjang Kabupaten Solok.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Subyek penelitian sebanyak 75 responden. Penarikan sampel dilakukan secara random. Variabel yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini meliputi jenis pestisida, komposisi pestisida, pemakaian alat pelindung diri, dan gejala neurotoksik. Instrument penelitian menggunakan kuesioner Q18 versi Jerman. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-square pada taraf signifikasi 5%.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 62,7% petani penyemprot sayuran pernah mengalami gejala neurotoksik. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan ada hubungan signifikan antara jumlah dan komposisi pestisida yang digunakan dengan gangguan neurotoksik pada petani sayuran (p-value <0,05). Sedang kebiasaan pemakaian alat pelindung diri tidak berpengaruh terhadap kejadian gangguan neorotoksin.  Simpulan: Jumlah dan komposisis pestisida berhubungan dengan gangguan neurotoksik pada petani sayuran di Kanagarian Alahan Kabupaten Solok. Petani sayur disarankan untuk memperhatian komposis pestidian dan tidak menggunakan secara berlebihan dalam menyemprot sayuran. AbstractTitle: Factors related with neurotoxic symptoms on pesticides exposed vegetable farmer in Kanagarian Alahan Panjang, Solok DistrictBackground: Around 60% of vegetable farmer sprayer in Kenagarian Alahan Panjang have experienced of the neurotoxic symptoms. The purpose of this study was to determine factors associated with neurotoxic symptoms on vegetable farmer sprayer with pesticide in Kenagarian Alahan Panjang Solok District in 2016. Method: Type of this research was quantitative using cross-sectional design. The sample were 75 respondents. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. Processing data using univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test. Results: The result of this research showed (62,7%) vegetable farmer sprayer have experienced of the neurotoxic symptoms. Bivariate analysis showed there were significant relationship (p<0,05) between pesticide composition and amount of pesticide with neurotoxic symptoms. There was no significant relationship between use of personal protective equipment with neurotoxic symptoms. Conclusion: The number and compostion of pesticides were factors which had associated significantly with neurotoxic symptoms. It was suggested to vegetable farmers to change organofosfat pesticide which was not dangerous to health like faction of pyrethroids. Vegetable farmers were suggested to use appliance protector of X’self completely when activity of mixing and application of pesticide.

Background: Psychological factors such as anxiety have significant contributions in determining dietary intake and nutritional status of elderly. Prevalence of malnutrition in elderly has achieved significant level.Objective: To determine the correlation between anxiety level with dietary intake and nutritional status of elderly in Yogyakarta municipality.Method: This research was observational with cross sectional design. Subjects were elderly in Yogyakarta municipality who fulfilled inclusion criteria. Research subjects consisted of 214 people. Anxiety level was measured with trait-manifest anxiety scale (T-MAS) form, dietary intake with semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire (SQFFQ) method, and nutritional status was determined based on body mass arm span (BMA). Data were analyzed with Chi-Square test and multiple logistic regression.Results: A percentage of 26.2% subjects had moderate anxiety level. Most dominant factors that influenced anxiety level was sex (OR=3.37). Bivariate analysis showed a significant correlation between anxiety level and nutritional status (p<0.05), subjects with moderate anxiety level were more likely to have higher nutritional status (OR=3.54) and lower nutritional status (OR=2.29). Significant correlation was found between moderate anxiety level with excessive dietary intake (p<0.001; OR=6.22). Significant correlation was also found between dietary intake with nutritional status (p<0.05), subjects with excessive dietary intake were more likely to have higher nutritional status (OR=6.15).Conclusion: Significant correlation was found between anxiety level and nutritional status. Significant correlation was also found between anxiety level and dietary intake, and significant correlation was found between dietary intake and nutritional status.
