The World economy after global crisis of 2008–2009 entered a restructuring era. It defines relevance of researches of its directions and patterns. The principles of determinism and systemic analysis are methodological basis of article. In research were used the methods of processing Big Date, as of continuous changes and the symmetric analysis of macroeconomic indicators according to databases of the IMF, WB, BIS, the Central banks and treasuries. As a result of the research it is proved that depth and globalism of recessionary processes are caused by a combination of crisis of world financial system and civilization problems. Intrinsic signs of risks in the modern economy caused by the duality of the nature of global crises have been identified. There are analyzes: the deficit of resources of the international financial institutions, a negative role of a fixed rate of Yuan, a big share of derivatives and off-balance obligations of banks, use of SPV in structures of deals, growth of debt obligations, trade wars, slowdown in the growth of the Chinese economy, aggravation of contradictions between global and national finances. The thesis is reasonable that deglobalization and dedollarization deepened this conflict, started the rollback mechanism from achievements of globalization, led to tariff wars. By means of a systematization it is proved the key directions of the restructuring of global economy: legal basis, leadership and reserve currency. On the basis of SWOT-analysis of the USA and China it was concluded that the question of leadership of one country should be excluded, but slow transition to use SDR (with a basket from 15–20 currencies) as a reserve.

The reform of the economic system in China initiated under the leadership of Deng Xiaoping in the late 70s of the 20th century included as the main components and mechanisms the gradual and consistent elimination of the state’s status of a monopoly economic entity. The economic reform was aimed at, first, the de-collectivization of the agricultural sector, the gradual implementation of individual and private forms of ownership, private economy management, and the transition from an administrative-command model of economic management to the use of commodity-money, and then market methods of economy management at the determining and directing role of the state. An open-door policy and foreign economy, as well as the use of the global economy mechanisms and potential, have become the most important components of economic reform and the entire development model of the Chinese economy.

This paper presents the first results of a research project which has the aims to identify the problems appearing during the preparation of mergers in compliance with valid Czech regulations and to analyze economic causes and consequences of mergers. At the first stage it was necessary to compile a basic dataset in a structure needed for a statistical analysis. The aim of the analysis presented in this paper is to ascertain, both theoretically and empirically, how the external environment affected the development of mergers of trading companies in the conditions of the Czech economy. The covered period is the past ten years, i.e. 2001–2010, when the development of the global economy was affected by the bank crisis in the USA and the economic recession. The analysis of the development of mergers and acquisitions focuses on three groups of factors affecting activities in the field of company combinations. These are mergers and acquisitions which are subject to approval by regulatory bodies, the effect of new regulations of financing (financial factors) and the effect of the macroeconomic situation in the form of GDP indicator and PX index. Macroeconomic indicators are related to mergers whose development has not been published or explored within scientific research. The results of the analysis allowed us to describe the dependence of activities in the field of company mergers which took place in the Czech Republic in the past decade on the selected factors of the external environment.

We focused our attention on the causes of the current trade war between the United States and China. The article analyzes the influence of electoral processes in the USA on the choice between free trade and protectionism. The relationship between China’s accession to the WTO, mutually beneficial cooperation with the United States, and trends in the trade balance between major trading partners have been determined. The article illustrates the main mutual claims between the United States and China, which led to the outbreak of «the largest trade war in economic history». We determined the main stages of the conduct of «military operations» and characterized the directions of the conflict escalation. The attention is focused on the losses in the trade war; the main beneficiaries from the «trade disagreements» were identified. We proposed an alternative opinion on the real consequences of the trade war for the warring parties. The article studies the impact of trade wars on world GDP and the national economies of the largest countries of the world. Attention is focused on the existence of «phantom trade» for finding the way out of sanctions and tariffs. The role of Ukrainian business in trade wars is examined in detail. We analyzed the main trade wars Ukrainian enterprises are involved in and possible results for the business. The article gives the author’s vision of the impact of the trade war on the trade balance between Ukraine and the key participants in the trade war: the United States and China. We concluded which branches of the Ukrainian industry are in priority for developing trade relations with China. The article highlights the main barriers to the development of trade with the United States and the reasons for the decline in the export of Ukrainian goods. We predicted how the improvement in relations between the United States and China will affect the role of Ukrainian business in the context of world trade wars.

This paper analyzes the economic consequences of the trade war ongoing between the USA and China as applied to Thailand. The paper mainly focuses on the relationship between the global tariffs’ imposition during this US-China trade war as they directly hit several Thai export products as well as the US-China trade war impact on Thai business via dumping goods into Thailand and Thai products intermediately affected by the tariffs imposed on Chinese or US goods. Recently, it has been illustrated by many researchers and economists that trade wars, especially between those waged between such large economies have adverse economic effects on the global economy and international trade. This paper utilizes PESTEL and also causes and consequences analysis to explain the trends of the US or China exports of goods and services to Thailand, Thai intermediate inputs indirectly affected by the tariffs imposed on Chinese or US goods and dumping goods into Thailand as the latter could intensify domestic competition.

The purpose of this work is to identify the potential and limitations of online network communities to strengthen the position of the democratic political regime. The study was conducted using the example of Internet communications in the USA and France. The principles of comparative analysis and quantitative content analysis were used as a methodological basis. Additional methodological optics were elements of SWOT analysis. The analysis showed that the American and French democratic political regimes actively use online network communities to strengthen their positions in society. At the same time, it is revealed that the largest online political communities are groups of leaders, which is interpreted by the authors as a general pattern in the two studied countries – the growth of populism. The increasing role of populism is associated with the phenomenon of mediacracy – the dependence of the modern political process on media corporations and media platforms, including online ones, which establish a specific format of media journalism for political actors. The strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of online communities for preserving democracy are also identified.

The article covers milestones of the system of national accounts (SNA) development. In particular, it is noted that the SNA was developed in response to the need of governments of the major market economies in macroeconomic statistics to guide decision-making for combatting the effects of the Great Economic Depression of 1929–1933. The authors address the SNA evolution in a context of the development of concepts, definitions, and classifications, furnishing the basis for a system of interrelated and mutually agreed measures of economic development at the macro level.Development of the SNA theory and methodology was closely linked with real change in a global economy, reflected the emergence of new forms of organization of economic process, new methods of financing investments, the growing role of foreign investments, globalization. The authors note a valuable contribution of a galaxy of eminent economists of the last century to the SNA theory and methodology elaboration. The article discusses at some length the role of international organizations in the development of theoretical and methodological foundations of the SNA. After the Second World War, these organizations released several critical documents with recommendations on the SNA compilation, recognized as international standards. The authors analyze the current international standard – the SNA 2008. In particular, the new treatment of expenditures on research and development and weapons systems. This treatment introduces a very noticeable adjustment in understanding important structural characteristics of the modern economy in many countries. The final part of the article considers issues of developing the SNA in national statistics, previously focused on the balance of the national economy (BNH). There are specific features of the transition from the world’s first developed system of interrelated macroeconomic indicators, the BNH, to the international standard, the SNA, adapted to modern realities of unctioning of market economy in Russia.

International economies are fragile and vulnerable to the various volatilities that occur, due to classic economic imbalances caused by financial meltdowns, inflated balloons, or other internal and external macroeconomic shocks, due to unforeseen phenomena in the form of the economic term "black swan". The first focus of the paper was placed on examining the real impact of the virus on key macroeconomic indicators of the global economy and what is the attitude of international politics when it comes to creating a crisis structure. The implementation of the policy seen since the beginning of the 2020 crisis has led to the strengthening of an economic doctrine that is mitigating and out of mind, which has again shown that the world of central banks is easy on the "monetary trigger". The second focus of the work is singled out as a subtheme, where the current situation with China's Evergrande is to be addressed and how much impact the ultimate negative outcome can leave on the current recovery of the world economy. For the past twenty or thirty years, China's economic picture has led it to the world's second strongest economy, thanks precisely to the strong implementation of China's development policy. But rightly the world wonders what the real growth of the Chinese economy is. Labour's third focus has been placed on the issue of inflation as a potentially long-term problem. The implementation of the agreed policy over the last year and a half is a realistic reflection of the current situation with inflation. It is crucial to process whether its sudden jump can be a long-term problem for the entire economic structure of the European and global economies. Whether inflation can be corrected in the long run through the law of supply and demand, as has always been shown so far, needs to be seen.
