MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BEREMPATI ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN MELALUI COOPERATIVE LEARNING

Emphatic abilities are abilities to understand other people’s feelings. Emphatic is built based on their own awareness, the more open children are to their emotions, the better they are in understandingothers’ feelings. Low emphatic abilities are found in 5-6 years old children at PAUD Bina Bangsa Islamic School, they can be seen from children’s daily habit at schools which cannot show understanding oftheir friends’ feelings and how to act to others. Due to that reason, cooperative learning implementation is needed to stimulate cooperation and interaction in children so that they can escalate their emphaticabilities well. This research was conducted on 13-10 April 2017 at PAUD Bina Islamic School using action research method conducted in two cycles with success criteria of 70%. The objective is to find out howlearning cooperative processes escalate 5-6 years old children’s emphatic abilities. Based on research results obtained, their emphatic abilities can be escalated through cooperative learning with 22% on preaction, then the emphatic abilities are getting higher in the first cycle to 50.43%, and in the second cycle it is increasing as well to 96.42%. Based on data acquired, it can be inferred that 5-6 years old children’s abilities can be escalated through cooperative learning.Keywords: ability to empathize, cooperative learning, children aged 5-6 years

This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning result and activities by using the cooperative learning model of Talking Chips type on the subject matter of Biodiversity in class X MIA1 MAN 1 Medan T.P. 2018/2019. The research method is classroom action research and the subject of this research are students of class X MIA1 as many as 35 people. The instrument that used in the study are test of student learning result namely pretest and postest as many as 30 questions and observation sheets of student activities. The results showed that based on the learning result of the first cycle, the average score of pretest was 40.6 increased to 68.6 in the postest. At the second cycle, there was an increase from 62.8 in the pretest to 74.5 in the postest. In this study, the data of individual and classical learning completeness criteria are obtained as follows: as many as 30 out of 35 students or 85.72% who scored above 70 or equal to 70, and 5 other students or 14.28% got a score below 70. Based on observations of student activities, the percentage of students who were active in the first cycle was 48.2% with total of students 17 out of 35 students, and students who were active in the second cycle was 80% with total of students 28 from 35 students

Abstract, The background of this research is the need of various learning method to improve student’s learning ability. One of them is TSTS (two stay to stray). The purpose of this research is to examine TSTS learning method effectiveness in improving student’s learning ability and how much improvement made in implementing TSTS learning method. This research uses cooperative learning with two stay to stray (TSTS) model and action research method trial on learning process of PKn subject at Elementary School. The result of the research indicates improvement on students’ ability on PKn subject by using TSTS learning method, and the effectiveness of this model is proven with the increase of average score of 83.41%. TSTS model in First and Second cycle has proven, exponentially, contributes to the increase of students’ learning results.  Keyword:  effectiveness, learning method, TSTS model, Elementary School students.  Abstrak, Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya kebutuhan mengenai metode pembelajaran yang bervariasi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar siswa, salah satunya dengan penerapan model pembelajaran TSTS. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran TSTS dalam meningkatkan kemampuan belajar Siswa dan seberapa besar peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran TSTS.          Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep cooperative learning dengan model two stay to stray(TSTS), serta metode action research yang diujikan dalam proses belajar mengajar siswa Sekolah Dasar pada materi PKn. Sedangkan untuk hasil yang diperoleh adalah terdapat peningkatan kemampuanSiswa dalam pembelajaran PKn dengan model pembelajaran TSTS dan keefektifan melalui pemanfaatan model pembelajaran TSTS terbukti dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata sebesar83,41. Hal itu sudah menandakan bahwa penggunaan model TSTS di dalam siklus I dan II memberikan kontribusi yang sangat besar bagi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.Kata kunci: efektivitas,metode pembelajaran, model TSTS, siswa SD.

Each child has a different character. In this case, the role of the family, especially the mother, is very supportive of the child in instilling the child's character according to his potential. The purpose of this study was to improve the character of children's courage through their mother tongue by using the classroom action research method conducted at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten in Sungai Pinang Ogan Ilir by researching two cycles consisting of 3 meetings with planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Based on the research results in the first cycle, the minimum category developed as expected 67%, with the dominant indicator appearing as the attitude of doing something without worrying about the difficulties. In comparison, the minimum category increased to 87% in the second cycle, indicating that the child can face something with great confidence and great results. This shows that using the mother tongue can improve the character of the courage of early childhood.

The purpose of this research is to develop activities and result student learning outcomes inMechanical Engineering Basic using Cooperative Learning Model Type Jigsaw II on XTP1 students atSMKN 6 Bandung. Research method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists ofthree cycles. The study conducted by learning begins with pretest and posttest each cycle. Average yieldfor the specialist group activity each cycle as follows: Cycle I 44.16% (being), increase in cycle II to56.83% (being), cycle III to 86% (very high). Then the average home group activity for each cycle asfollows: cycle I 37.5%, increase in cycle II to 69.79% (high). Increased again the third cycle to 93.83%(very High). From the activity affect students’ learning result in each cycle of learning, especially pretestresult and posttest scores : pretest cycle I 48.91 and posttest 63.78 (up 14.84). 61.89 cycle II pretest andposttest 78.78 (up 16.89), 72.56 cycle III pretest and posttest 86.89 (up 14.33). Based on Analysis ofresearch data obtained in the field I nt can be concluded that the application of Cooperation LearningModel Type Jigsaw II can be increase the activity learning and learning result outcomes in subjectMechanical Engineering Basic of XTP1 at SMKN 6 Bandung.

Young learners can be defined as children in age ranging from five or six years old who are attending elementary school to twelve years old.  In this research the researcher chose to teach vocabulary in TK (kindergarten) Aisyiyah Dolopo. The reason for choosing to teach vocabulary is because vocabulary is one of the important elements in language. The researcher focuses on teaching vocabulary words to the young learners. The researcher used pop up slide book to improve students’ vocabulary. The pop up slide book is a book which shows three dimensional pictures when the pull or trigger is pulled. The name pop up slide book is originated from the term “Slide” which means “to move smoothly along a surface”. The name slide was added by the researcher as the new variant of pop up book. The method for this research was Classroom Action Research which took two cycles. This research method was conducted to know the problems inside the classroom thus the solution can be found. The goal of this research is to make children learn English through pop up slide book. The instruments used in this research were observation, interview and test. The research results based on the implementation of popup animal slide media in TK Aisyiyah Dolopo Madiun showed that in cycle 1 up to cycle 2 the implementation of pop up slide book was able to improve students’ score. In the first cycle many students achieved score 70 and in the second observation their score were above 80. The highest score was 100 for the test in cycle 2. The interview result showed that 100% of the students liked the pop up slide book with the animal poster. In the first interview cycle, 87% of students were afraid to learn English but in the second interview cycle, 100% of students could speak English comfortably without hesitation. Moreover from the observation in first cycle only 46% students who were excited to learn with pop up book, but in the second cycle 90% of students were excited to learn English during lesson using pop up slide book. This study used an Action Research Method to investigate ways to improve the thinking and reasoning skills of grade eight science students in an under-resourced school in Karachi. The students’ rote learning patterns were challenged using the schema provided by Blooms’ taxonomy of learning domains. A cooperative learning environment was generated with a renewed investment plan, a restructured lesson plan and an intensive workshop with the group leaders. These interventions were done with the help of the preliminary data that was collected through questionnaires. The outcomes of the action research method showed a positive correlation between cooperative learning approach and academic achievement of the students.

Abstract. This study aims to find out what cooperative learning method is most effective in improving students’ activity and motivation in Statistics subject. This research is a Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this study are the 5th semester students of PGSD Study Program with total number 35 students. Instruments used consist of: (1) Observation sheet of learning implementation; (2) Observation sheet of students’ activity in learning with assessment on students’ oral activities, visual activities, listening activities, writing activities and emotional activities; (3) Observation sheets of group effectiveness with assessment on the efficiency aspects of problem solving and member participation; (4) Questionnaire of motivation to find out to which extent the learning can improve student's motivation which is seen from the students perception of their satisfaction in learning. The research results show that when PBM learning model is used in cycle 1 and Jigsaw learning model is used in cycle 2, Jigsaw is better than PBM learning model.Keywords: Problem-based learning model, Jigsaw Learning Model, activity and learning motivation.

This research aims to get description of Cooperative Learning application using Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) type to improve students’ motivation and independence learning level. The applied research method was classroom action research. The observations have been done during seven cycles to research the subjects; those are students of Basic Academic Reading Class C of 2018/2019 at department of management, faculty of economy, Universitas Islam Indonesia. The result showed that the number of students achieving maximum scores (A) has significantly increased, up to 31% of previous year as the baseline. Meanwhile, the average students’ attendances in entire semester have also increased up to 13% of previous year baseline. The questionnaire was also distributed before and after cycles to measure the changes in students’ perception of their motivation and independent learning level. The result indicated the increase in average score of every aspect in all variables. However, the result of independent sample t-test showed that sig (2-tailed) score of students’ motivation and independence learning level have significant differences. Thus, it is concluded that Cooperative Learning model on Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) type has a positive and significant impact on developing student’s motivation and independent learning level.

<p class="AfiliasiCxSpFirst" align="left"><strong>Abstrak:</strong></p><p class="AfiliasiCxSpMiddle">Kemampuan Matematika permulaan merupakan kemampuan anak untuk berfikir logismatematis dan berkaitan dengan bilangan cacah. Pengamatan awal pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Khairin Islamic School ditemukan bahwa kemampuan Matematika permulaan anak tergolong rendah dan kegiatan pembelajarannya berpusat pada guru sehingga anak tidak aktif menemukan konsep dan tidak ada pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Padahal karakteristik anak usia dini adalah belajar melalui bermain. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Matematika permulaan dengan menerapkan permainan memancing angka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 21 orang anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Khairin Islamic School. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: penggunaan permainan memancing angka (sebagai tindakan) berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan Matematika permulaan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan tercapainya skor persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90,4% pada siklus II. Penemuan lain dari hasil penelitian ini, yaitu: respon anak saat memancing angka sangat senang, antusias, aktif, dan memahami Matematika permulaan dengan konsep nyata. Preliminary observations on pupils aged 5-6 years at RA Khairin Islamic School, pupils basic mathematics abilities were relatively low and their learning activities were teacher-centered so that pupils did not actively find concepts and there were no enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences. Though the characteristics of early childhood are learning through playing, he purpose of this study is to improve the basic mathematics abilities by implementing a number fishing game. The research method used was classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 21 children aged 5-6 years at RA Khairin Islamic School. The results showed that: the application of number fishing game (as action) to improve basic mathematics ability of pupils aged 5-6 years. this is indicated by the achievement of a classical percentage ability score of 90.4% in cycle II. The other findings, pupil's responses when fishing for numbers were very happy, enthusiastic, active, and understood basic Mathematics with real concepts.
