THE APPLICATION OF NUMBER FISHING GAME TO IMPROVE BASIC MATHEMATICS ABILITY

<p class="AfiliasiCxSpFirst" align="left"><strong>Abstrak:</strong></p><p class="AfiliasiCxSpMiddle">Kemampuan Matematika permulaan merupakan kemampuan anak untuk berfikir logismatematis dan berkaitan dengan bilangan cacah. Pengamatan awal pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Khairin Islamic School ditemukan bahwa kemampuan Matematika permulaan anak tergolong rendah dan kegiatan pembelajarannya berpusat pada guru sehingga anak tidak aktif menemukan konsep dan tidak ada pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Padahal karakteristik anak usia dini adalah belajar melalui bermain. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Matematika permulaan dengan menerapkan permainan memancing angka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek pada penelitian ini sebanyak 21 orang anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Khairin Islamic School. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: penggunaan permainan memancing angka (sebagai tindakan) berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan Matematika permulaan pada anak usia 5-6 tahun. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan tercapainya skor persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90,4% pada siklus II. Penemuan lain dari hasil penelitian ini, yaitu: respon anak saat memancing angka sangat senang, antusias, aktif, dan memahami Matematika permulaan dengan konsep nyata. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menyarankan kepada guru ataupuh penelitian lainnya untuk menerapkan permainan memancing angka untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Matematika permulaan dan menjadikan konsep Matematika menjadi lebih nyata bagi anak.</p><p class="AfiliasiCxSpMiddle" align="left"><strong> </strong></p><p class="AfiliasiCxSpLast" align="left"><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>:</p><p>Kemampuan Matematika Permulaan, Permainan Memancing Angka, Pendidikan Matematika</p><p> </p><p class="AfiliasiCxSpFirst" align="left"><strong><em>Abstract:</em></strong></p><p class="AfiliasiCxSpMiddle"><em>The Basic mathematics Ability is pupils ability to think logical mathematical and is related to whole numbers. Preliminary observations on pupils aged 5-6 years at RA Khairin Islamic School, pupils basic mathematics abilities were relatively low and their learning activities were teacher-centered so that pupils did not actively find concepts and there were no enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences. Though the characteristics of early childhood are learning through playing, he purpose of this study is to improve the basic mathematics abilities by implementing a number fishing game. The research method used was classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 21 children aged 5-6 years at RA Khairin Islamic School. The results showed that: the application of number fishing game (as action) to improve basic mathematics ability of pupils aged 5-6 years. this is indicated by the achievement of a classical percentage ability score of 90.4% in cycle II. The other findings, pupil's responses when fishing for numbers were very happy, enthusiastic, active, and understood basic Mathematics with real concepts. This study aims to determine whether using PowerPoint audio-visual media can improve children’s cognitive development in ECE (Early Childhood Education) in North Tomohon Sub-District, North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia. The research method used was collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in ECE in North Tomohon Sub-District, and it was found that 1) Before using the PowerPoint audio-visual media, ECE in North Tomohon Sub-District still had difficulty doing the assigned tasks and answering teachers’ questions because the children cognitive was not stimulated well; 2) The use of PowerPoint audio-visual media can improve the child’s cognitive aspects because the learning activities were designed in an attractive, fun and not boring way. Through the use of PowerPoint audio-visual learning media, children’s cognitive can be stimulated well.

ABSTRAK : Berdasarkan hasi pengamatan di lapangan terhadap kemampuan motorik halus anak di kelompok bermain belum berkembang optimal, oleh sebab itu diperlu dilakukan kegiatan montase dalam proses pembelajaran. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok bermain melalui kegiatan montase. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subyeknya  anak kelompok bermain PKK Pamongan II Kecamatan Mojo Kabupaten Kediri pada semester II tahun ajaran 2019/2020 yang berjumlah 18 anak didik yang terdiri dari 7 anak perempuan dan 11 anak laki-laki. Untuk menggumpulkan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan dokumentasi dan observasi. Penelitian ini masih sampai pada tahap perencanaan yaitu menyusun RPPM, RPPH, lembar penilaian motorik halus. Semua perangkat tersebut sudah divalidasi oleh ahli dan dinyatakan layak digunakan untuk mengembangkan motorik halus. ABSTRACT : Fine motor skills are abilities that need to be developed in early childhood. On the other hand, montage games have an attraction to be included in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to examine the implementation of montage activities in developing fine motor skills in early childhood. This research method uses classroom action research with the subjects of the PKK Pamongan II playgroup, Mojo District, Kediri Regency in the second semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, totaling 18 students consisting of 7 girls and 11 boys. To collect data in this study using documentation and observation. This research is still at the planning stage, namely compiling RPPM, RPPH, fine motor assessment sheets. All of these tools have been validated by experts and declared fit for use to develop fine motor skills. The recommendation forexperimental research.

The purpose of this study is to improve students' interest in English vocabulary through picture media in TK Nur Assalam. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The participants of this research were 6 students. The results obtained from efforts to the improving students interest in English vocabulary using the picture media involving active learners in the learning process. The role of picture media in learning activities is very important for children, especially in the next education level. Teaching and learning activities in early childhood will quickly develop if parents and teachers intensive to develop it. There are several attempts to create a sense of pleasure in early childhood by using picture media in the learning process. From the result of research indicate that when pre-action take result (15%). In cycle I, it increased to (55%) sufficient criteria. In cycle II, it increased again to (85%) good criteria. So, the increase that occurred from the pre-action to the cycle I that is (40%). The increase from cycle I to cycle II that is (30%). And increase from pre-action to cycle II that is (70%). From the research results obtained, then to the improving students interest in English vocabulary can be improved by using picture media in the learning process.Keywords : Students’ Interest, Vocabulary and Picture Media

For a profesional teacher should master a class-management, especially, knows about the management functions. There are as follows; planning, directing, acting, organizing and controlling. Planning consists of curriculum, educational callender, learning schedule, semester program, and lesson plan, and they are mastered by a profesional teacher. Learning directing should succeed and pass a scoring target, mastering all of materials, learning methods, strategy and learning approaches. After finishing all of learning and teaching processes, then it is to evaluate and analysis to make a good program on the other time. The objective of this research is how to improve compentence teacher in classes management by using discussing method in this research. The research method uses of the classroom action research; it concists of two cycles, and each cycle uses four steps. They are planing, acting, actuating and reflecting.

Abstract. Currently, there are more teachers who only use textbooks as the only medium of teaching and learning. For this reason, an alternative solution is needed by developing Microsoft PowerPoint as a teaching and learning medium. The objectives of the study are to develop positive attitudes and generate teachers’ interest in the use of informatics education media into teaching and learning activities. The research used school action research method conducted in 2 cycles. The data was analyzed by using percentage technique and was qualitatively descripted. The results showed that the performance of teachers in teaching by making, presenting material using the media presentation of MicrosoftPowerPoint in SMAN 1 Banjarmasin is categorized as active and very good. The lowest score for the assessment of teaching activities is 59 (81.94%) and the highest is 70 (97.22%). While the lowest value for the assessment of manufacture and presentation is 52 (86.66) and the highest is 60 (100%).  Keywords: teacher performance, presentation media, Microsoft PowerPoint  Abstrak. Saat ini masih banyak guru yang hanya menggunakan buku pelajaran sebagai satu-satunya media pembelajaran. Untuk itu perlu alternatif pemecahan masalah dengan mengembangkan Microsoft PowerPoint sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sikap positif dan membangkitkan minat guru terhadap penggunaan media pendidikan informatika ke dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan sekolah dengan 2 siklus. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik persentase dan dideskripsikan secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kinerja guru dalam mengajar dengan membuat dan menyajikan materi menggunakan media presentasi microsoft powerpoint di SMA Negeri 1 Banjarmasin termasuk kedalam kategori aktif dan sangat baik. Nilai terendah untuk penilaian kegiatan mengajar 59 (81,94%) dan tertinggi 70 (97,22%), sedangkan nilai terendah untuk penilaian pembuatan dan penyajian 52 (86,66) dan tertinggi 60 (100%).   Kata Kunci : kinerja guru,  media presentasi, Microsoft Powerpoint.

In general, the purpose of this study was to improve the discipline of early childhood through the method of token economy habituation in class II even semester 2016-2017 SD Cherry South Jakarta. The method of token economy refraction is a method of strengthening behavior by giving points (reward). In particular, the discipline referred to in this study is the presence of children on time at school. This research method is classroom action research which follows the models of Kemmis and Taggart. This study consisted of two cycles. Each cycle includes 4 stages, namely, 1) planning (planning), 2) acting (implementation), 3) observing (observation), 4) reflecting (reflection). The research time is 1 month, from April 2017 to May 2017 with the subject of research as many as 11 students, while the data is collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that there was a significant increase in discipline in class II students. This can be evidenced by the increase in the results of quantitative calculations starting from the results of the average pre-action discipline, cycle 1 to cycle 2, namely the results of the pre-action average = 12, cycle 1 = 13.27, cycle 2 = 15 and the results of interviews concluded that the method of habituating token economy can motivate discipline in early childhood optimally. This study concludes that discipline with the method of habituating token economy can improve the discipline of early chilhood.

Each child has a different character. In this case, the role of the family, especially the mother, is very supportive of the child in instilling the child's character according to his potential. The purpose of this study was to improve the character of children's courage through their mother tongue by using the classroom action research method conducted at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten in Sungai Pinang Ogan Ilir by researching two cycles consisting of 3 meetings with planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Based on the research results in the first cycle, the minimum category developed as expected 67%, with the dominant indicator appearing as the attitude of doing something without worrying about the difficulties. In comparison, the minimum category increased to 87% in the second cycle, indicating that the child can face something with great confidence and great results. This shows that using the mother tongue can improve the character of the courage of early childhood.

Cognitive development is an important aspect. One of them is the ability to think symbolically. To improve the ability of symbolic thinking of early childhood certainly cannot be separated from the role of educators. Indicators of cognitive development that must be achieved by children aged 4-5 years are: numbers 1-10, recognizing the concept of numbers, recognizing the symbol of numbers, and recognizing the symbol of letters. For this reason, it is appropriate for educators to work hard to improve the ability to think symbolically in early childhood by providing stimulation through appropriate learning media like children, one of which is the media learning of dimples. This research was conducted with a class action research method. From the two cycles that have been done show the results that there is an increase in the ability of symbolic thinking in early childhood group A using the media learning dimples.Perkembangan kognitif merupakan aspek yang tidak kalah penting. Salah satunya  adalah kemampuan berpikir simbolik. Untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir simbolik anak usia dini tentu tak lepas dari peranan pendidik. Indikator perkembangan kognitif yang harus dicapai anak usi 4-5 tahun adalah: membilang  benda 1-10, mengenal konsep bilangan, mengenal lambang bilangan, dan mengenal lambang huruf. Untuk itu sudah selayaknya pendidik berusaha dengan keras untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir simbolik anak usia dini dengan cara memberikan stimulasi melalui media pembelajaran yang tepat bagai anak, salah satunya adalah media pembelajaran lesung angka. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode peneletian tindakan kelas. Dari dua siklus  yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan hasil bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemmapuan berpikir simbolik pada anak usia dini kelompok A dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran lesung angka.

The purpose of this study is to improve the ability to read Poetry through the demonstration method as Indonesian teaching material in class VIII of SMPN 4. The demonstration method is to provide opportunities for students to translate and apply their knowledge into learning while at the same time giving them an opportunity to demonstrate their level of understanding and mastery of material that has been studied. This research method uses classroom action research methods. The instruments used were test and non-test. The results of the study found that demonstration learning methods can improve the ability to read poetry. Learning achievement increases because of the different learning methods. Students come to the front of the class to read poetry. So that learning activities become more interesting and quality. The results showed an increase in the ability to read poetry of students from the first cycle and second cycle. The results of the first cycle evaluation of 29 students who achieved KKM were 10 students namely 34.48%, and the results of the evaluation of the second cycle value of 29 students who achieved KKM were 24 students namely 82.75%. Suggestions for teachers are needed to use demonstration learning methods so that the learning process becomes more conducive and enjoyable and for parents to pay attention to the activities carried out by children so that they can be controlled and biased to increase achievement.

<span lang="EN">This research aims to design student learning activities on the concept of sets, especially operations on the sets. The research was conducted by using design research method with a mathematics realistic education approach. The subjects of this study are 42 students of mathematics education at the University of Papua taking lecture of realistic mathematics education. There are three stages in the implementation of this research, namely preliminary design, experimental design, and retrospective analysis. The results of the study show that the use of game "Lemon Nipis" can develop students' understanding significantly to the concept of operations on the sets. </span><span lang="EN-US">students are able to understand well and correctly basic operations on the sets, union, intersection, and exponentiation.</span>
