<em>Today information resources in Arabic Language are very much useful to the researchers and community of the world. Resources in Arabic language in Kerala, is scattered in various places like libraries attached to Islamic Institutions, kuthb khanas, madrassas, masjids, personal libraries of scholars, and Arabic Colleges. It includes manuscripts, copper plates and digital resources. It should be bibliographically controlled, digitized and preserved for the benefit of future generation. Most of them are concentrated in Malappuram District where muslims are more populated. ALT and ICT will help us to complete this tedious task. It will open a new window to the wide area of information studies and research. The work will be a great help to research scholars, students at various levels, faculties of Arabic departments, academicians and the community as a whole.</em>

كان من أهم الآثار الإيجابية للصحوة الإسلامية التى عمت العالم الإسلامى بشكل ملحوظ منذ أوائل السبعينيات فى القرن العشرين زيادة إقبال الشعوب الإسلامية على تعلم اللغة العربية، وبدأ الاهتمام الحقيقى لجامعات العالم الإسلامى بتوفير مساقات متخصصة لهذا الغرض منذ أوائل الثمانينات، وكانت الجامعة الإسلامية العالمية بماليزيا التى أسست سنة 1983 من أنشط الجامعات فى هذا الصدد، وهو نشاط استلفت نظر الباحث إذ وجده يستحق الرصد والتوثيق العلمى، والمراجعة إذا اقتضت الضرورة لا بهدف الإشادة بالتجربة بل رغبة فى الإفادة والاستفادة من قبل المختصين من المهتمين بهذا الميدان الحيوى من ميادين خدمة اللغة العربية بل خدمة الإسلام، وحضارته نظرا للارتباط الوثيق بين اللغة العربية وهذا الدين الحنيف باعتبارها لغة كتابه الخالد، والمعلم الرئيس من معالم الهوية الإسلامية المميزة والصمود الحضارى.*****************************************************One of the most positive effects of the Islamic awakening since the early seventies, in the twentieth century, which spread across the Islamic world in a significant manner, has been the increased Muslims’ interest in learning the Arabic language all over the world. There began a real interest in the universities of the Muslim world for the Arabic language by providing specialized courses for this purpose since the early eighties and  the International Islamic University Malaysia established in 1983 has been the most active university in this regard. And this activity of the university drew the interest of the researcher who found it worthy of investigation and scientific documentation as well as of revision, if necessary, not in order to pay tribute to the experience, but for taking advantage and learning from specialists interested in this vital field of the fields of Arabic language service which is actually service of Islam and its civilization considering the strong connection between Islam and the Arabic language, the language of the Qur’Én , the most distinctive feature of Islamic identity and resilience of Islamic civilization.

The concept of open access has been increased in recent years around the world and India is also contributing in open access movement actively. e-LIS is an international open repository in the field of library and information science established in 2003 and as of today e-LIS contains 21,123 various types of documents. The basic aim of this study is to provide an analysis of Indian contribution towards open access movement, particularly the documents submitted in the e-LIS. This study provides analysis of 1090 various types of documents submitted to e-LIS (Eprint for Library and Information Science) from India as on 30 January, 2019. It found that the position of India in terms of number of documents submitted in the e-LIS is first among Asian countries. The maximum documents (432) are submitted as” Journal Article (Print and Online)” and maximum documents (72) are published in 2006.The maximum numbers of submitted articles (35) were published in “Annals of Library and Information Studies”.

The study aims at identifying the concept of digital library, it also tries to shed the light on the most significant intellectual issues by presenting its definition, development, functions (selection and acquisition of information resources from the web, sources indexing, communication and management of intellectual property rights, production of electronic resources and its availability, and digital resources maintaining), characteristics, and the purpose of turning into digital library, passed by the proposed stages of digital library transition, Types of Intellectual Property (Copyright, Patents, Trademarks, Commercial Secrets), it also discusses copyrights and intellectual property, the problems and challenges of digital library, and finally the future of digital library. Many researchers agree that the main objective of the digital library is to accomplish all the functions of the traditional library, but in the form of electronic digital libraries which are only an extension for jobs that are performed and the resources that are accessible in digital library. The study concluded that digital libraries emerged as an obligatory result of revolution of the third millennium which is called the communications revolution, as libraries are able to prove that they are able to stand and cope with all the modern technology, where there is no conflict between the new and modern trends in libraries issue, but it also benefits from both of them concerning their evolution instruments in service for beneficiaries in every time and place.

As articles' production is growing at an increasing rate in Iran and the world, there is an urgent need for criteria to evaluate scientific publications. This will be achieved by using scientific evaluation. Who benefits from analyzing the information. The Journal of Studies in Arabic Language and Literature is considered one of the accredited and essential magazines in Arabic language and literature in Iran. University and educational institution. This article dealt with a statistical and analytical study of the number of article writers, their testimonies, the extent of cooperation between them, the centers and institutions active in the magazine. Moreover, From this standpoint, the article obtained the following results: 85 articles were written individually, 101 articles were also written jointly, 77 articles were jointly written with the cooperation of university colleagues, and 24 articles were written with the cooperation of different persons from different universities. Shaker Al Ameri and Wafiq Mahmoud Solitain became the most prolific authors with eight articles. Half of the essay topics are devoted to criticism, fiction, and text analysis. Fifty articles were written by the editorial staff with an average of 88/26, which is a large number.

The study aimed to know the percentage of supporters for the issue of teaching scientific and applied materials in the Arabic language and to reveal the reasons for support for this issue from the viewpoint of supporters, and to know the percentage of opponents and reveal the causes of opposition from the viewpoint of opponents, and the study sample consisted of (1223) individuals that included students from both phases Secondary and university students, science teachers, supervisors, science university professors The researchers followed the descriptive survey method using a questionnaire tool to survey the opinions of the sample on the issue, and the most prominent results are that 81.3% agree to teach natural and applied sciences subjects in the Arabic language instead of teaching them in other languages, and 18.7% see that they do not agree to teach science in the Arabic language, and that 91.1% Among the sample members who believe that understanding the science needs the student to be familiar with the language in which he is studying, if the mother tongue would be easier for him to understand the scientific subjects, while 8.9% do not agree to this, The results showed that 17.9% of respondents believed that teaching natural sciences in the Arabic language would be a reason for isolation from the world, while 82.1% saw the opposite. The study recommended a review of the teaching of natural and applied sciences in the Arabic language and a decision to use them in teaching natural and applied sciences because it is the mother tongue and to strengthen pride in them in the hearts of future generations.

Attention is drawn to the use of various information resources in the process of designing lessons, as well as teaching technologies. The examples of lessons on the subject “The world around you” in elementary school and a lesson in a foreign language (Chinese) are given.

الدراسة عن اللغة العربية هي دراسة جذّابة على دراستها، هذه اللغة ليست لغة اتصالية فحسب، بل إنها لغة الهية لأن مصدران في الإسلام وهما القرآن والحديث تكتبا باللغة العربية. ولمعرفة القرآن والحديث معرفة تامّة وجب علينا فهم قواعد اللغة العربية منها "الفعل" و "الاسم" و "الحرف". بفهم تلك القواعد تسهّلنا على معرفة معاني القرآن والحديث معرفة تامّة. في هذا البحث قد بحث الباحث أحد من دراسة اللغة العربية وهي عن "الفعل" في القرآن الكريم. موضوع البحث هو "الفعل"، أمّا نوع البحث هو البحث المكتبي، طريقة جمع البيانات هي المراقبة وبقراءة الكتب المتعلقة بالبحث، وطريقة تحليل البيانات هي طريقة تحليل المضمون وهي بتحليل الكتب المتعلقة والآيات القرآنية المتعلقة بالبحث. النتيجة من هذا البحث هي أنّ دراسة اللغة العربية "الفعل" لها دور عظيم في فهم القرآن الكريم وهذه الدراسة تسهّل المسلمين على معرفة معاني القرآن معرفة تامة. فمن الدراسة التي قام بها الباحث من قبل كثير من الطلاب الجامعي أخطأ في فهم آية القرآن خصوصا ما يتعلق بأسلوب الذي فيه "الفعل"، ولكن بعد أن يتعلموا اللغة العربية عن "الفعل" خصوصا فيقدر على فهم بعض آية القرآن فهما جيدا. فبمؤسس على ما سبق ذكره أخذ الباحث الاستنباط أن الدراسة عن اللغة العربية واجبة على كل مسلم ومسلمة، خصوصا للطلاب الجامعي باعتبار أنّهم الأجيل المستقبلة.          Learning about study of arabic language is very interesting to learnd, it is not only about complex comunication language but also devine revelation language for Muslim where two of refrences of islamic syari’ah is Al-qur’an and Hadist writed with arabic language. In addition to understand the Al-qur’an and Hadist must cognize several structure, grammatical of arabic language  such as “verb” in arabic langguage, “isim” and “Harfun”. To understanding gramatical of arabic language or basic of arabic langguage inderectly  a reader easier to understand Ilahi Verces. In this study, “verb” as one of Arabic language learning in Al-Qur’an was investigated by the researcher. The objects of study were “verb”. The research design used was literature study. The data were collected by observation and collecting the references related to the study and then were analyzed by using content analysis of the Ayahs of Al-Qur’an related to the study. The result showed that the Arabic language learning about “verb” has a great role which helps Muslim to comprehend the meaning of Ayahs of Al-Qur’an verb well. Then, it was also found that there were many students that were still misunderstanding in comprehending Al-Qur’an, specifically the parts containing “verb”. After they learn it, they were able to comprehend those Ayahs well. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning Arabic language is a compulsory for Muslim, especially for student because they are future generation.

The main theme of the 85th IFLA World Congress – the International Federation of Library Organizations and Institutions, which was held in Athens, Greece in 2019, was "Libraries: A Dialogue for Change". Once again, the congress brought together professionals from many countries of the world to solve the problems facing libraries of various forms. Their solution is achieved by developing common approaches to challenges at the global level (projects “Global Vision”, “Library Map of the World”, etc.), sharing best practices and methods, innovative forms of user service and resources generating. The purpose of this review is to present keynote reports delivered at the IFLA World Congress in 2019 on global trends in the development of research libraries. The selection of the reports was carried out by expert evaluation by the author, as well as some materials published on the Congress website. As a result, it was determined that libraries choose various ways and new methods of work to support researchers: by analyzing user needs; integrating librarians into the research life cycle; implementing the principles of open science and open access; developing discovery services and expanding the functionality of information resources; using artificial intelligence technologies, augmented and virtual reality, etc. This allows the creation of popular research support services, improving the quality of services, expanding the repertoire of information resources / products and services provided, modernize traditional forms and methods of work, and fully satisfy the information needs of users.

Development and civilization have been top-rated priorities and indication of human success in the world; and the largest segment of world talent are immersing to mark new and ever un-experimented record in this course. But paying more attention towards money centric gain and material prosperity centric civilization, an irrational attack on environment is rife everywhere. In last few decades, the environmental strength of world has been largely damaged and it has offered severe impacts on human health now. Though, people were more over-swayed with anthropomorphic use of environment and some transitory progress gained, slowly the imbalance of environment and its reverse effects on human lives have started taking limelight of people. And now, environment seems to be equally pressing and compelling agendas of human checklist to do. If not initiated anything great, it may be more than late to save us and future generation. Thus, the article tries to disclose the impacts of environmental degradation and urges to have efficient actions to alleviate the situation with acknowledging and accessing few of initiatives taken, here so forth.

This paper attempts to explore the access and usage of electronic resources among the users of Agricultural College and Research Institute (ACRI), Coimbatore. The present study aims at focusing on the use of various electronic information resources, awareness of users, access and use of digital resources by the Library Users in ACRI, Coimbatore. A well-structured questionnaire was distributed among randomly selected 400 Library Users of ACRI, Coimbatore and the data was obtained from the 350 filled in questionnaires received. The data thus collected have been employed for the present study to provide detailed analysis and interpretation.
