<p>Pendidikan karakter merupakan langkah  sangat penting dan strategis dalam  membangun kembali jati  diri  bangsa dan menggalang pembentukan masyarakat Indonesia baru. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa membentuk  siswa yang berkarakter bukan suatu upaya mudah dan cepat. Hal tersebut memerlukan upaya terus menerus dan refleksi mendalam  untuk membuat rentetan (<em>Moral  Choice</em>)  keputusan moral yang harus ditindaklanjuti dengan aksi nyata, sehingga menjadi hal yang praktis dan reflektif. Diperlukan sejumlah waktu untuk membuat semua itu menjadi (<em>custom</em>) kebiasaan dan membentuk watak atau tabiat seseorang. Karakter pendidikan harus  melibatkan   berbagai pihak,   di keluarga dan rumah tangga, lingkungan sekolah, dan masyarakat. Hal ini merupakan langkah utama yang harus dilakukan ialah menyambung kembali hubungan dan jaringan pendidikan yang nyaris putus diantara ketiga lingkungan  pendidikan tersebut. Pembentukan sifat dan karakter pendidikan tidak akan pernah berhasil  selama  diantara ketiga lingkungan  pendidikan tidak ada keharmonisan dan kesinambungan. Melihat kenyataan ini, membentuk  karakter siswa yang berkualitas diperlukan pengaruh yang kuat dari keluarga, sekolah, dan mayarakat.</p><p><strong>Kata kunci: peran keluarga, sekolah, masyarakat, karakter</strong></p><p><em>R</em><em>O</em><em>LE OF THE FAMILY, SCHOOL AND SOCIETY IN CREATING A QUALITY CHARACTER. Character education is a very important  and strategic step in the rebuilding of national identity and mobilize  the formation  of new Indonesian  society. This study uses library research. The result of this study is that forming character of students  is not an easy and quick effort. It requires continuous effort and deep reflection to make  a series of Moral Choice (moral judgment) that must be followed  up with concrete action,  so that it becomes practical and reflective. The necessary amount  of time to make it into a custom (habit) and establish a character or a person’s character. Character education should involve various stakeholders, in the family and household, school, and community. This is a major step that must be done  is to reconnect the relationship and educational networks that breaking point between the third educational environment. The formation of the nature and character education will never succeed as long as the third among the educational environment there is no harmony and continuity.</em></p><p><strong><strong><em>Keywords: </em></strong><em>The role of family, school, community, character</em><br /></strong></p>

<p>Kemajuan di bidang teknologi informasi saat ini, memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap anak-anak.suka tidak suka, anak- anak juga sudah mengenal media internet. Karena itu, sebagai orang tua harus turut serta mengontrol dan mengawasi putra putrinya bila berselancar dalam dunia maya. Selain pengawasan yang intensif, penananam  akhlak sejak dini juga harus dilakukan. Disinilah  orang tua  mempunyai peran yang penting dalam pembinaan akhlak bagi anak-anaknya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan pentingnya pendidikan akhlak bagi anak usia dini. Kajian ini merupakan penelitian  kepustakaan. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa tahapan-tahapan dalam membina akhlak bagi anak-anak, pertama,  memberi contoh kepada anak dalam berakhlak mulia, kedua, menyediakan kesempatan  kepada anak untuk mempraktikkan  akhlak mulia, ketiga, memberi tanggung jawab sesuai dengan perkembangan anak, dan keempat, mengawasi dan mengarahkan anak agar selektif dalam bergaul.</p><p><strong>kata kunci:  pembinaan akhlak, anak pra sekolah, peran orang tua</strong></p><div class="Section1"><p><em>THE  URGENCY OF  MORAL DEVELOPMENT FOR PRE- SCHOOL CHILDREN.  The  advance  in information  technology r</em><em>e</em><em>cently, give </em><em>a big inluence to the children. This is where parents have an important  role in the formation of character for her children. This study aims to show how importance the character education for early childhood.  This study  uses library research. The result of this studi showed that parents as the first educators in the family environment. Both should help each other. This paper examines the role of parents as a source of character education for early childhood. This study was conducted using the library research method. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents is a determining factor for children's development, both physically and mentally, is the role of both parents as the first and main educators for children who are born until they are adults. In the process of forming knowledge, various parenting styles conveyed by parents are very important. Education in the family plays a very important role in developing the character, personality, cultural values, religious and moral values ​​, and simple skills of children. The role of parents in influencing the character of children is no longer borne by the mother only. The role of the father in shaping the character of the child is very large. Fathers are still obliged to participate in maintaining interactions with their children, such as inviting them to talk, joke, and play.

Education includes character education, which is a deliberate process to instill character in students. Character education is very important, because with character, humans will be noble and become special beings compared to other creatures and even fellow human beings. Because of the very importance of character education, the existence of a method to achieve it also becomes very important. This study aims to elaborate exemplary methods in character development. By using library research and reflection methods, this research found that modeling is the most important and most effective character education method provided that: it is comprehensively carried out by educators in each educational environment; conducted together with other educational methods; and shown in three aspects: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the relationship between values education and character education in the material of norms and justice for grade 7 SMP/MTs subjects of Pancasila and Citizenship Education. This study uses a qualitative approach by means of library research as a technique of collecting data from various related references to analyze content. The results of the study indicate that value education and character education in civic education have an integrated relationship with each other. With value education, students have values in themselves which are considered good, right, worthy and valuable to take action. Actions based on these values are manifested in character education as a guide for good behavior in the family, school, friendship, community. Good character values must always be instilled in children from an early age so that they become good habits and reflect human beings who have character and are civilized or make good citizens. The values contained in character education are manifested in civic education subjects, one of which is in the material of norms and justice for grade 7 SMP/MTs.Keywords: education, character, values, normsAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterkaitan pendidikan nilai dan pendidikan karakter dalam materi norma dan keadilan kelas 7 SMP/MTs mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan cara studi kepustakaan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data dari berbagai referensi yang terkait untuk menganalisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pendidikan nilai dan pendidikan karakter dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan saling memiliki keterkaitan yang terintegrasi. Dengan pendidikan nilai, peserta didik memiliki nilai-nilai dalam diri yang mana dianggap baik, benar, layak dan berharga untuk melakukan tindakan. Tindakan berdasarkan nilai tersebut terwujud dalam pendidikan karakter sebagai pedoman dalam bertingkah laku baik di lingkungan keluarga, sekolah, pertemanan, masyarakat. Nilai-nilai karakter yang baik harus selalu ditanamkan sejak dini kepada anak-anak agar menjadi kebiasaan yang baik dan mencerminkan manusia yang berkarakter serta beradab atau menjadikan warga negara yang baik. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam pendidikan karakter diwujudkan dalam mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan, salah satunya pada materi norma dan keadilan kelas 7 SMP/MTs.Kata kunci: pendidikan, karakter, nilai, norma

Character education in the family which is a big responsibility that parents must give to children from an early age. This study aims to determine the method of family character education according to Abdullah Nashih Ulwan in Tarbiyah Al-Aulad Fi Al-Islam book and its relevance to the present reality. This research is a library research. The data collection was carried out using the documentation method, and Data analysis is content analysis models. The results of this study conclude that the method of character education in the family according to Abdullah Nashih Ulwan is education with exemplary, educational by habituation, education with advice, education with attention and monitoring and education with punishment. This research also concludes that the method is still relevant to the present reality.

Family is a place of learning that is full of true love and affection. Good characters embodied in the family are very fundamental human characteristics. Children’s capability to function as responsible citizens must be nurtured early on. Family is the smallest social unit that has an important role in the development of children's character, which lies in character education model given by the parents to their children. Character education within a family has not been conceptualized in a way that leads to a variety of educational praxis according to the understanding of each parent. The purpose of the study is to describe what values can be internalized to a family since early childhood. The research method used is literature study (library research), which is a research conducted by the researchers by collecting a number of books, magazines, leaflets pertaining to problems and research objectives. The findings show that children's character education should start from within the family, because family is the smallest unit of society and it will depend on parents to teach children from early age. Children’s character building within the family is not an easy practice because it requires systemic handling. There are interrelationships of other components, such as schools and community environments, which is necessary in its implementation. Character education in early childhood should start from the family through the eight family functions including (1) Education Function, (2) Protection Function, (3) Affection function, (4) Socialization function, (5) Reproduction Function, (6) Religious Functions, (7) Economic Functions, and (8) Recreation Functions.

This article seeks to examine the child's learning environment. In education is better known as Tri Education Center. Namely three educational environments that can support the learning process of children. The three environments are the family environment, school environment and the environment (community). In the context of education, society is the third environment after family and school. In this article the authors would like to invite a look back that the community environment has an important influence on the learning process of children. Because most of the time the child is in the family and society. For it becomes a necessity of the community participate in education either directly or indirectly. Because the community is a maid in the process of maturation of individuals as members of groups in a society. The learning process in society is not limited by time and space. As long as the children interact and socialize with the environment it can be said that as their learning process. Through this library research hope can determine how far the role of the community environment in helping children's learning process.

The Purpose This Research is to Describe Strategies to create character education in madrasas. As a party organizing education, both the government and the private sector. Therefore, collaboration between the school and family is a must. In other side, schools must also be able to create the character of education. The Method use library research with reference search efforts literature related to the subject matter discussed descriptively. In creating character education in schools, there are several things that must be done. First thing first is the formulation of a vision, mission and quality targets that can be understood by all parties, be it leaders, teachers, employees, students, parents and school or madrasah committees. The second is to have a strong leadership spirit, to get support and connections from all related advice. The third one has the motivation to excel in this globalization era. The fourth one strives for consistent training and development of teaching staff. The fifth is evaluation of learning outcomes and looking for the root of the problem to make learning even better. The sixth always communicates with the parents, guardians and the local community. The seventh one is building a good network of cooperation with related parties continuously. A dignified national generation can be formed by instilling the values of character education. Value is a normative standard that influences humans in determining their choices. One of the figures who has the value of character education and has a big influence in Indonesia is Sutan Sjahrir as one of the founding fathers of the Nation. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the values of character education contained in Sutan Sjahrir as one of Indonesia's heroes based on his existence in Indonesia's historical records. The method used in this writing is library research. Library research or library research is a research method that utilizes library sources to obtain research data. Data analysis includes four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and data verification or conclusion drawing. The basic character values possessed by Sutan Sjahrir include religion, tolerance, democracy, hard work, responsibility, creative, independent, communicative and fond of reading. Sutan Sjahrir's character education values for the nation & state are related to those stated, including patriotism, love for the country, self-sacrifice, nationalism, and social care. These values are very useful in shaping character to create the next generation who has a social spirit and become the pride of the family, nation and state.
