WOMEN IMAGE IN ELIZABETH GILBERT'S BY EAT PRAY AND LOVE

The purpose of this research is to reveal the women image as Seen in Gilbert’s Eat Pray Love. In conducting this research, the writer uses qualitative method. In analyzing the data, the writer used mimetic approach. After conducting this research the writer arrive to the conclusion that woman image in Elizabeth Gilbert novel Eat Pray and Love describes about the modern woman image who clearly reflected through the character of Elizabeth Gilbert. Elizabeth Gilbert is a successful woman in running her carrier as a writer who finally decided to get marriage and live as a housewife but when years go by Elizabeth found herself that she does not totally enjoy with her marriage life so she decides to divorce. The discussion comes to the conclusion that Elizabeth Gilbert image as a modern woman can be mention as follow: Independent woman, Educated Woman, Strong woman and Thoughtfulness woman. Those of characteristics mention are the characteristics of woman image in the modern era where totally different than traditional woman image. Thus, there are some suggestions: 1) Woman should study to get knowledge so she can live her life as a success as she wants. 2) Independent woman does not meant uncontrolled but can control her desire to reach happiness. 3) Image of modern woman should be drive a woman into the high quality character who does not interfere by external aspect. 4) The result of this study can be a reference for other researcher who interested in analyzing about woman.

An Empirical Study on the Core Competencies of College Counselors in China

From the perspective of empirical research, this paper conducts a specificstudy on the core competencies of college counselors. 450 participants from 4universities participated the research. A questionnaire of college counselors’ corecompetencies from the aspects of the design of open questionnaire was designedand implemented, a predictive questionnaire was tested and analyzed, and aformal questionnaire was implemented. The results of the formal questionnaireshow that component one mainly concerns ideological awareness and values,component two mainly concerns professional ethics, moral accomplishment,quality, character and attitude, while component three refers to various abilities atwork, and component four involves professional and cultural knowledge. Throughanalysis and discussion, it is concluded that the key elements of college counselors’core competencies include values, moral quality, vocational ability and culturalknowledge, and a structural model of their core competencies is constructed.

Hydrochemical Interaction of Major ions in Groundwater: A Case Study

Water is most important resource to sustain to progress life on the earth. Most of communities obtain their water recover from groundwater. Aquifer that can capable of holding fresh water. Nearly 80% of water resource used for human purposes. So water drain into the watershed of the study. The chemical composition of river eater is mainly depending upon many interrelated factor including geology, soil, topography and biological process. The continuous runoff of water may causes land use changes, therefore, hydro geochemistry of groundwater is sum of the total character. Water resource quality character is one of pollution problem comes when the concentration of the ions exceeds the acceptable limit. In this study area now a day the problem of environmental pollution increase day-to-day and anthropogenic influence paly concern role in groundwater. The aim of the present study explore the appraisal of physico-chemical characterization of groundwater water samples and their major ion interaction in hard rock of this study area. In this area that is quality character of water resource especially for drinking and domestic purposes it is depend on the constituent of water. Once, the concentration exceeds the permissible limit it causes health effect. Gibbs and missing plot were used to identify the source of major ions. The contribution of water pollution scenario can be confirmed by field studies by focusing on land use change, agriculture and settlement activities. The relationship between consider variable of ions were determined through correlation analysis. A better understanding of hard rock aquifer for water quality changes as development progress by geochemical studies of groundwater deliver is necessary.

An analysis of Accelerated Christian Curriculum in Biblical Christian Worldview

<p class="abstracttextDILIGENTIA">God gave man his commission (Gen. 1:26-30), called the Cultural Mandate. In this mandate mankind is to steward the created order, in accordance with God’s law-Word, for God’s glory. Shortly before the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven, he issued the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20). The Great Commission command to disciple all the nations into obedience to the comprehensive and absolute lordship of Jesus Christ. There is no area of thought, life, or culture outside the scope of the Creation/ Dominion Mandate or the Great Commission. Thus, the extent of the Creation Mandate and the extent of the Great Commission necessitate Christian Education.<strong> </strong>Accelerated Christian Curriculum is a curriculum that has been helping pastors and parents by developing and publishing quality, character building Christian educational materials for Grade Levels K3-12. By integrating character building principles and scripture memory into the academics, the program helps children master each concept before moving to the next concept.<strong> </strong>In this essay I analyze the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum from a Biblical Christian Worldview.</p><div><div><p class="footnoteDILIGENTIA"> </p></div></div>

GAMBARAN INTEGRITAS AKADEMIK PADA MAHASISWA BARU UNIVERSITAS X

Integrity is a quality, character, or condition that an individual possesses to determine what is considered right and wrong in his/her life, and how much it can be shown in his/her everyday actions. Various phenomena in fact indicates the occurrence of various academic integrity violations among students and university students. This study aims to describe the academic integrity of freshmen, especially at University X. Participants amounted to 343 respondents who were freshmen of University X. The study was conducted in November 2019. Data analysis was conducted using a descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the freshmen of X University possess high academic integrity in each dimension of the academic integrity variable (with mean greater than 3.67). However, this study also found that the students of a certain faculty at University X show generally lower scores compared to students of other faculties at University X. Integritas merupakan suatu mutu, sifat, atau keadaan yang dimiliki individu untuk menentukan apa yang dianggap benar dan salah dalam hidup, serta seberapa besar hal tersebut dapat ditunjukan dalam tindakan sehari-harinya. Berbagai fenomena justru menunjukan terjadinya berbagai pelanggaran integritas akademik di kalangan pelajar dan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran integritas akademik pada mahasiswa baru terutama di Universitas X., Partisipan terdiri atas 343 responden yang merupakan mahasiswa baru Universitas X. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan November 2019. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa baru Universitas X, memiliki integritas akademik yang tinggi pada setiap dimensi variabel integritas akademik (rata-rata lebih besar dari 3,67). Namun, dalam penelitian ini juga ditemukan bahwa, mahasiswa dalam sebuah Fakultas di Universitas X, cenderung memiliki lebih banyak yang memiliki skor rendah dibandingkan mahasiswa di Fakultas lain di Universitas X.

TO THE QUESTION OF THE STATE OF THE TURKISH NAYY IN 1991-2019

The article is dedicated to the current state of the Turkish Navy. According to the author, an analysis of the development of the Turkish Navy allows us to conclude that the replenishment of the ship’s composition of Turkey is in full swing, and this update is of high quality character. Turkey is commissioning not just modernized warships; its ships are being built at national shipyards based on modern technology. In its military policy, Turkey is reoriented from the Black Sea to the eastern Mediterranean direction.

Nomina abstrаcta with suffix -к(а) in the history of the Ukrainian language

The article deals with the dynamics of lexical and word-forming types of abstracts with suffix -к(а) in the history of the Ukrainian language, considers the productivity of the mentioned formant. It is established that nouns with abstract meaning are the names of concepts that have no real embodiment, indicate the state, feelings, process, quality, character traits, various manifestations of human intelligence, relationships between individuals, peoples, etiquette, are scientific and industrial terms. Nomina abstracta, formed with the suffix -к(а), functioned already in the Old Slavic Language. The general significance of objective action and the results of human mental and speech activity in the semantic structure of such derivatives have remained leading to this day. Sources of the of the Ancient Russian-Ukrainian language of the ХІ – ХІІІ centuries record a small number of analyzed derivatives (ласка, гадка). However, in the Middle Ukrainain Language of the ХІV–ХVІ centuries the activity of their use was gradually increasing (валка, висилка). There were also desubstantives, in the semantic structure of which there were no indication of diminutive meaning. The number of such derivatives continued to increase in the monuments of the New Ukrainian Language (бійка, вымовка). There were also nomina abstracta, indicating the peculiarities of human behavior, his actions, feelings, and a small group of nouns to denote agricultural actions and processes. At the beginning of the XX century accounted for the most active functioning of new works of abstracts on ‑к(а) because of the influence of historical circumstances of this time (вирубка, відставка, доставка). Occurrence during the ХХ century a significant number of names of materialized actions was also determined by the socio-economic development of society, because a significant number of such nouns denote various production processes and their features (опалубка, плавка). Many abstract names of actions in the Modern Ukrainian language are created from the bases of verbs with the help of confixes with the postpositive component -к(а) (несогласка, похибка). Today, the process of replenishing the composition of abstracts with this formant is not very intensive. EFEKTIVITAS MANAJEMEN PEMBELAJARAN KARAKTER BERBASIS FINACIAL LITERASI DI SEKOLAH DASAR

The purpose of this research is to know the level of financial literacy learning model effectivity for building quality character of sekkah student base The effectivity levels of the models will be used to determine whether the model can be used as best practical or not. Number of population of 272 and it all made as the respondents, thus this research is the research population. Data analysis using t-test and tools to validate using the kendall and spearman, while for reliability using cronbach alpha as its parameters. The results showed the existence of level models effectivities at the level of significance of 1%, the components of the planning, the implementation and evaluation has an impact on the success of the formation of nonkonsumerisme character and spirit of entrepreneurship.

SEMANTICS OF EPONYMS IN MODERN ENGLISH AND UKRAINIAN LANGUAGES: LINGUOCULTURAL PERSPECTIVE

The purpose of the current study is to analyze common and distinctive features in the culturally marked meaning of modern English and Ukrainian eponyms. Culturally loaded background knowledge of eponyms gives access to the motivation of the eponymous semantic context. The eponyms of contemporary English and Ukrainian languages reflect internationally, nationally, socially linked information relevant to the cultural background. Eponymous terms have proved to represent the significant linguocultural potential as they verbalize definite quality, character feature, way of living or historic events from common or specific heritage of English and Ukrainian cultures. Appealing to people whose names or derivatives transmit certain cultural associations English and Ukrainian eponyms store background motivating information about real people, Biblical characters, gods in Greek and Roman mythology, literary and movie personages, toys etc.

MENTAL PERUBAHAN MENUJU MUTU PENDIDIKAN ISLAM

Education quality studiesare always dynamic, because the quality character always keeps up the times. Society demands for the implementation of Islamic education quality should be responded to well. Preparing and creating an atmosphere of quality culture in educational environment by mental change is the necessity. Efforts to forming the quality of education must begin by education providers. Islamic boarding schools as the one form of Islamic educational institutions, with Kyai as central figures are very important in responding any changes towards quality in education. Mental and quality culture also accompany management in Islamic education. Adequate professionalism and skillsarethe investment of resources which also determines quality of Islamic education. For this reason, the values of Islamic teachings contained in Alqur’an concerning quality, management, and change should be contextual.
