A dignified national generation can be formed by instilling the values of character education. Value is a normative standard that influences humans in determining their choices. One of the figures who has the value of character education and has a big influence in Indonesia is Sutan Sjahrir as one of the founding fathers of the Nation. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out the values of character education contained in Sutan Sjahrir as one of Indonesia's heroes based on his existence in Indonesia's historical records. The method used in this writing is library research. Library research or library research is a research method that utilizes library sources to obtain research data. Data analysis includes four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and data verification or conclusion drawing. The basic character values possessed by Sutan Sjahrir include religion, tolerance, democracy, hard work, responsibility, creative, independent, communicative and fond of reading. Sutan Sjahrir's character education values for the nation & state are related to those stated, including patriotism, love for the country, self-sacrifice, nationalism, and social care. These values are very useful in shaping character to create the next generation who has a social spirit and become the pride of the family, nation and state. Tolerance, democracy, hard work, responsibility, creative, independent, communicative and fond of reading. Sutan Sjahrir's character education values for the nation & state are related to those stated, including patriotism, love for the country, self-sacrifice, nationalism, and social care. Abstrak: Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam sastra tutur dang-idang. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah pendidikan karakter apa sajakah yang terdapat dalam sastra tutur dang-idang. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Sedangkan data yang dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Objek penelitian ini adalah tradisi lisan dang-idang yang dituturkan oleh masyarakat yang tinggal di Kayu Agung, Sumatera Selatan. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang berhasil diidentifikasi oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah religius, kerja keras, tanggung jawab, mandiri, komunikatif, peduli sosial, dan peduli lingkungan.Kata kunci: Pendidikan karakter, sastra tutur, dang-idang Abstract: This study aims to identifie and describe character education contained in the traditional literature of dang-idang. This study focusses of character what are contained in the traditional literature of dang-idang. As for the methods used in this research is descriptive method. While the data were analyzed using sociological approach to literature. The object of this study is the traditional literature of dang-idang by people who live in Kayu Agung, South Sumatra. The values of character education were identified by the authors in this study is a religious, hard work, responsibility, independent, communicative, social care, and care for the environment.Key words: Character education, the traditional literature, pendekatan ideologi sastra.

Decreased awareness to internalize and inspire the values of Pancasila will lead to the degradation of the nation's character. If left unchecked will have an impact on the morale and attitudes of the younger generation that are not in accordance with the values of Pancasila. This study aims to determine the implementation of character education based on Pancasila values through role models and habituation. This research is based on the library research process. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative-critical, namely by emphasizing the ability of analysis and analysis of selected library sources. The results showed that the implementation of Pancasila values through role models was done by improving the religious side of students, providing guidance and training students' obedience to obey the rules, arouse the national spirit and love of the motherland, instilling democratic attitudes in students, teaching social care and not apathetic. Whereas the implementation of the values of Pancasila through habituation is done by accustoming students to having an attitude of religious tolerance, mutual love and respect for fellow human beings, not making a difference as an excuse to be divided, accustomed to making deliberative decisions, making friends with anyone and having solidarity.

This paper examines the role of parents as a source of character education for early childhood. This study was conducted using the library research method. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents is a determining factor for children's development, both physically and mentally, is the role of both parents as the first and main educators for children who are born until they are adults. In the process of forming knowledge, various parenting styles conveyed by parents are very important. Education in the family plays a very important role in developing the character, personality, cultural values, religious and moral values ​​, and simple skills of children. The role of parents in influencing the character of children is no longer borne by the mother only. The role of the father in shaping the character of the child is very large. Fathers are still obliged to participate in maintaining interactions with their children, such as inviting them to talk, joke, and play.

This study was aimed at determining the value of character education in folk games on the slopes of Mount Merapi. This study used qualitative method. The subjects of this study were students, teachers, principals, and heads of Cangkringan and Pakem sub-education technical implementation unit. The instruments used were in-depth observations and interviews. The result shows that there are seventeen folk games, namely dakon, serak lidi, lompat tali, enggrang, bekelan, kelereng, bentengan, dan bola bakar, oya dodok, oya tembok, jamuran, cublak-cublak suweng, petak umpet, engklak, dingklik oglak-aglik, gobak sodor, and elang ayam.The game is used by teachers on the slopes of Mount Merapi to instill thirteen characters from eighteen educational characters. These characters, namely honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendship, caring for the environment, social care, and responsibility. Folk games should be integrated in learning in elementary school to develop student characterNILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PERMAINAN RAKYAT DI LERENG GUNUNG MERAPIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi nilai pendidikan karakter dalam permainan rakyat di lereng gunung Merapi. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa sekolah dasar (SD), guru, kepala sekolah, dan kepala Unit Pelaksana Teknis sub pelayanan pendidikan di kecamatan Cangkringan dan kecamatan Pakem. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi tujuh belas permainan rakyat, yaitu dakon, serak lidi, lompat tali, enggrang, bekelan, kelereng, bentengan, dan bola bakar, oya dodok, oya tembok, jamuran, cublak-cublak suweng, petak umpet, engklak, dingklik oglak-aglik, gobak sodor, dan elang ayam yang berpotensi sebagai sarana penanaman nilai karakter pada siswa SD. Permainan tersebut dimanfaatkan oleh para guru yang ada di lereng gunung Merapi untuk menanamkan tiga belas karakter dari delapan belas karakter pendidikan. Karakter tersebut, yaitu jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Permainan rakyat semestinya dapat diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran di SD untuk mengembangkan karakter siswa.

This study is entitled "Character Education in the Acehnese Idiom in the Kuala Batee Community of Southwest Aceh”. The Acehnese idiom was used as a support in advising and as a means of maintaining existing norms in the society. A Society is one of the most influential molders of character education because of its interactions. The values of traditional culture are recognized by all levels of the society in the regions and nationalities that become national identities. Not only culture, local languages also need to be used in daily interactions in society so that they do not experience a serious decline, which will eventually disappear over the time. In this case, the Acehnese Idiom became a medium to spread the value of character education to the next generation. The purpose of this study is to describe the Acehnese expressions that contain the values of character education in the community of Kuala Batee Southwest Aceh. The method of this research is a descriptive qualitative. Interview was used as an instrument. In this study, 8 subjects are chosen using purposive sampling that consist of tuhapheut and village elders in the community. The location of this study is in Kuala Batee District, Southwest Aceh.  There are 18 character values in the Acehnese Idiom in the community of Kuala Batee, Southwest Aceh which consists of; religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love of the homeland, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, love peace, love to read, care for the environment, social care and responsibility. The expressions found in the Kuala Batee community are in the form of one line, two lines, three lines and four lines. The Acehnese idiom in the community of Kuala Batee Southwest Aceh is in the oral form which has its own meaning and use as an advice relating to divinity, self, others and the environment. Based on the above conclusions, the author suggests the community to preserve the Acehnese idiom so that it becomes a legacy for the next generation. To the government, it is hoped that they will support to publish references related to Acehnese idioms and other types of folklore related to Acehnese culture so that they can add references to other studies.

The aim of research to determine the planning, implementation, and evaluation of school mathematics curriculum adaptive cluster. Qualitative research with ethnographic design. Where research SMK N 2 Purwodadi. The research subject Principals, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques of interview, observation, documentation. The validity of the triangulation of data sources, techniques, time. Data analysis techniques with methods groove. The results of the study (1) Management of adaptive curriculum in math lesson planning includes designing syllabi and lesson plans that already contains a character education is the KI and KD, as well as the student's character assessment sheets .; (2) The study of mathematics includes three activities, namely the preliminary activities of teachers manage the religious character of prayer, discipline go to class on time, invite students to maintain the cleanliness of the classroom, and teachers to motivate students. Core activities, teachers implement instructional methods discussion so familiarize students have a democratic character, tolerance, social care, communicative, curiosity, love of peace, hard work, and creative. The activities cover teachers familiarize students have the responsibility and creative character by giving the task .; (3) Management of adaptive curriculum in the evaluation of mathematics learning are teachers carry out daily tests or individual assignments so students can familiarize themselves has an honest character, discipline, hard work and responsibilities. Assessment can also be done with the observation in the learning process fatherly knowing the attitude, knowledge and skills of students.

Character education is closely related to moral education, which is to shape and train individual abilities continuously for self-improvement towards a better life. Novel is a literary work that can convey the values of character education. The research aims to analyzing the values of character education in the novel 5 cm by Donny dhirgantoro. This research is a qualitative study using a descriptive design method. the data analysis technique by reading the entire data, analyzing the data in more detail and restating the data by described and interpreting the data. The result of this study are the value of character education  contained in the novel “ 5 cm” by Donny Dhirgantoro, namely, religious, hard work, love to read, friendly and communicative, social care,  and love  the homeland.

Character education as an effort designed to systematically and continuously to form the personality of students based on noble norms which are upheld highly by society. Cultural factors and social environment including religious values, norms, socio-cultural changes, and the goals or expectations to be achieved which reflected in the social interaction relationship is potentially have an effect and contribution to the character development of students. Therefore, the family-based and the local Islamic wisdom character education should become the main focus from the beginning or from the early childhood. Character values that can be developed include obedient attitudes and behaviors in implementing the values of religion, honesty, discipline, environmental care, social care, and values oriented to the development of noble character. Teachers and education personnels play an important role in stimulating the development of the character and personality of early childhood.

Hindu teachings contain a lot about character education, morals, ethics and manners. Moral education can be seen in the story of Sundara Kanda, which is a sub of Itihasa in the Ramayana epic that tells the journey of life with various obstacles and tests that must be faced with full fortitude, strength and determination. Every event that occurs in the Sundara Kanda story is a unified narrative unit in resolving the conflict of every event. The setting in this story uses the setting of Mount Mainaka, Alengka Palace, Taman Angsoka, Kiskinda kingdom. The character is Hanuman who becomes a central figure, then there are goddesses Sitā and Ravana. The accompanying figures are Trijata, Wibisana, Anggada, Jembawan, Sugriwa, Laksmana and Rama. Rahwana as the Antagonist, then there are also giants. His mandate is loyalty and determination in carrying out dharma. Character characters contained in the Sundara Kanda story include characterization displayed through the use of the character's name, through the appearance of the character, and characterization through the author's speech. In accordance with the characters contained in Hindu teachings, namely in the book of Bhagawadgita, the characters in the Sundara Kanda story can be grouped into two characters namely daivi sampad and asuri sampad. The values ​​contained in the character of the Sundara Kanda story include religious, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, discipline, and hard work. As a whole, the character's character value is a national character that should be inculcated and developed to the wider community, in order to shape the attitudes and behavior of a person in carrying out the duties and obligations that should be carried out both towards oneself, the family environment, society, nation and state.
