Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keberhasilan menggunakan media pembelajaran gambar dengan memperhatikan ada atau tidaknya peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas VI SD Negeri No. 101/II Muara Bungo. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) merupakan salah satu pendekatan dalam penelitian yang berbasis kelas atau sekolah untuk melakukan pemecahan berbagai permasalahan yang digunakan dalam rangka peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Hasil penelitan, diperoleh hasil bahwa pertama, pada dasarnya para peserta didik kelas VI mampu untuk membuat suatu puisi sederhana, hanya saja diperlukan media yang dapat merangsang imajinasi mereka. Kedua, media gambar ternyata dapat digunakan untuk merangsang imajinasi para peserta didik kelas VI, sehingga pada akhirnya mereka dapat membuat satu bait puisi. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the success of using image learning media with regard to whether or not the increase in the ability to write class poetry students VI SD Negeri No. 101/II Muara Bungo. The research method used is Classroom Action Research. Classroom Action Research (PTK) is one approach in classroom or school-based research to solve various problems used in the context of improving the quality of education. This study presents a research report on improving students’ Learning results on IPA through Video. The objective was to find out whether students’ learning result improved when they are taught by using Video. It was conducted using classroom action research method. The subject of the study was the Grade IV students of SDN 187/IV Kota Jambi which is located on Jln. Adi Sucipto RT 05 Kecamatan Jambi Selatan, and the number of the students were 21 persons. The instruments used were test. In analyzing the data, the mean of the students’ score for the on fisrt sycle was 65,4 (42,85%) and the mean on cycle two was 68,5 (37,15%) and the mean of the third cycle was 81,4 (100%). Then it can be concluded that the use of video on learning IPA can improve the students’ learning result. It is suggested that teachers should use video as one of the media to improve students’ learning result on IPA.Keywords : IPA, students’ learning result, video

There are four models of classroom action research, namely Kurt Lewin model, Stephen Kemmis and Robyn McTaggart model, Margaret Riel model, and Robert P. Pelton model. To make the models easy to apply, the authors show an example of classroom action research framework.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar Matematika materi irisan dan gabungan dua himpunan dengan menerapkan Portal Rumah Belajar pada Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya tahun ajaran 2012 - 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dua siklus dan tiap siklus terdiri dari 4 langlah yaitu : (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, (3) observasi, dan (4) refleksi.Hasil penelitian Penggunaan Portal Rumah Belajar pada siswa Kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surabaya, terbukti meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, sebelum tindakan siswa yang tuntas belajar sebanyak 22 siswa atau 73,3 %, pada Siklus I siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 23 siswa atau 76,7 %. sedangkan pada Siklus II siswa yang tuntas sebanyak 28 siswa atau 93,3 %. Dengan demikian kualitas pembelajaran dari sebelum tindakan sampai dengan Siklus II terjadi peningkatan. Saran dalam PTK ini adalah: Guru harus memotivasi siswa untuk belajar secara inovatif mempergunakan media pembelajaran. Guru hendaknya memiliki paradigma bahwa guru bukan satu-satunya sumber belajar. Pembelajaran Matematika hendaknya disampaikan dengan menggunakan media yang mampu menyenangkan siswa dan mampu membuat siswa aktif. Kata Kunci: Himpunan, Portal Rumah BelajarAbstract: Math is considered difficult and students have less motivation in learning math. That is why teacher must provide approprite learning medium to ease the students to learn math. The aim of this study was to increase students’ mathematic learning achievement on intersection set and union set by applying the Portal Rumah Belajar for Seventh Grade A of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya year 2012 - 2013. The design of the study was Classroom Action Research. In this study two cycles were conducted, and each of which consisted of 4 steps, namely: (1) plan, (2) act, (3) observe, and (4) reflect. The use of Portal Rumah Belajar could increase the achievement of seventh grade students of Muhammadiyah 1 Junior High School Surabaya. The number of student passing the competency in the pre-action was 22 students or 73.3%, in the cycle was 23 students or 76.7%, and in the cycle II were 28 students or 93.3%. Thus the quality of learning increased between pre-action and the second cycle. Recommendation from this classroom action research was: teacher should motivate students to learn innovatively by using instructional media. Teachers should have a paradigm that teacher was not the only source of learning. Learning math should be submitted using the media to please students and be able to keep students active. <em>The teacher is an element that plays an important role in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. It is inevitable that there are various problems in learning that need to be solved by a teacher, one of them with research. Classroom Action Research is an attempt to correct any shortcomings and deficiencies in learning. Followed by writing a Classroom Action Research Report, carried out as an attempt to think and prove to improve the professionalism of teachers and is no less important as an added value in increasing credit. The aim of this study is to describe: teacher skills in writing Classroom Action Research reports and obstacles for teachers in writing scientific articles. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the skills to write research reports in the classroom were still low and very rarely performed. The obstacles that the teacher encountered were the lack of understanding of scientific articles, little systematic writing knowledge, limited liability, problems with the use of computers and time. But of all that, the cause of the obstacles that the teacher encounters is motivation.</em>

Improvement of the national education system is needed so that the quality of education increases one of the efforts to improve the quality of education is by increasing teacher professionalism. Increased professionalism of teachers is characterized by an increase in competencies that must be possessed by teachers, namely pedagogical competencies related to management of students, social competencies related to communication skills, personal competencies related to the ability of teachers to have wise personalities, and professional competencies related to ability teacher to master knowledge and improve the quality of learning. One way that can be taken in improving the quality of learning is to carry out classroom action research. Class action research is a research activity to solve learning problems. By conducting classroom action research, teachers are able to improve the learning process through a study of what is happening in their classrooms. The purpose of this training is to find out how far the teacher's knowledge and practices are about Classroom Action Research. The methods that will be used to provide this training include: lectures, questions and answers, discussions, assignments, individual guidance, and independent training in the form of projects. From the results of the overall evaluation of the implementation of the Classroom Action Research training at SD Nurul, Sidoarjo Wisdom was fairly successful, it was seen from the implementation indicators and the results obtained from this training with fairly good values.

The principal has an obligation to be able to improve the quality of teacher in the learning process at school. Based on the observations, it was found that the number of learning processes carried out by elementary school teachers at schools were not in accordance with the characteristics of elementary school students, so that improvements were needed to improve the skills of these teachers. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of teachers’ skills in the learning process at elementary schools through academic supervision activities. This research was a classroom action research that adapted the design of Mc Taggart and Kemmist's classroom action research. This research consisted of stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The findings stated that there was an increase in the implementation skills of the teacher's learning process by getting an average score of 68.46 in cycle 1 and increased to 86.10 in cycle 2. This proved that there was an increase in teachers’ skills in the learning process at elementary schools through academic supervision activities. The implications of this research was that it could be used as a basis by supervisors to be able to improve teachers’ skills in the learning process at elementary schools.

<p><strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong> <em>One of the requirements that must be met is to improve the quality of education by creating professional teachers. Based on the results of observations made from 9 (nine) teachers, only 1 (one) teacher has the ability to compile CAR, while 8 (eight) people do not have the ability to compile CAR. This is due to the lack of teachers getting information about the technique of preparing the CAR and the teachers are not accustomed to compiling research, so that the teachers are less able to prepare CAR In this regard, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the ability of teachers in preparing CAR. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase teacher professionalism through classroom action research and writing of environmental scientific papers at SMA Perjuangan Terpadu. The method of activities carried out in this community service is training / counseling, guidance and mentoring which is integrated in classroom action research workshops (PTK). The form of activities to be carried out is training in the form of: designing and implementing models, methods, media, and learning approaches as outlined in the classroom action research proposal; implementation of classroom action research; interpreting implementation results through classroom action research reports; and writing scientific papers. The outputs that will be produced in this activity include: classroom action research proposals, classroom action research reports, and journals published by the teacher. All participants will be accompanied and guided in the process of making proposals, reports, and copying articles in accredited or not accredited national journals.</em></p><p> </p><p><strong>Abstrak.</strong> <em>Salah satu persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dengan menciptakan guru yang professional. </em><em>Berdasarkan hasil observasi </em><em>yang dilakukan </em><em> dari 9 (sembilan) orang guru, hanya 1</em><em> (satu)</em><em> orang guru memiliki kemampuan menyusun PTK, sedangkan 8 </em><em>(delapan) </em><em>orang belum memiliki kemampuan menyusun PTK. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya guru mendapatkan informasi tentang teknik penyusunan PTK dan guru tidak terbiasa menyusun penelitian, sehingga para guru kurang mampu dalam menyusun PTK. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, maka perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun PTK.</em><em> Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ialah untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas guru melalui penelitian tindakan kelas dan penulisan karya ilmiah </em><em>lingkungan</em><em> SMA Perjuangan Terpadu. Metode kegiatan yang dilakukan pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan/penyuluhan, pembimbingan dan pendampingan yang terintegrasi dalam kegiatan workshop penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK).Bentuk kegiatan yang akan dilakukan yaitu pelatihan berupa: perancangan dan penerapan model, metode, media, maupun pendekatan pembelajaran yang dituangkan dalam proposal penelitian tindakan kelas; pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas; menginterpretasikan hasil pelaksanaan melalui laporan penelitian tindakan kelas; dan penulisan karya ilmiah.Luaran yang akan dihasilkan pada kegiatan ini antara lain: proposal penelitian tindakan kelas, laporan penelitian tindakan kelas, dan jurnal yang dipublikasikan oleh guru. Seluruh peserta akan didampingi dan dibimbing dalam proses pembuatan proposal, laporan, hingga mensumbit artikel pada jurnal nasional yang terakreditasi atau tidak terakreditasi.</em></p>

Friendly supervision conducted by principals is basically an effort to improve the quality of education and teaching in schools with core teaching programs supported by other elements such as teachers, facilities and infrastructure, curriculum, teaching and assessment systems. This research method is a school action research study subject of three teachers in class VI with the results of the study seen in the completeness of the administration of learning owned by teachers in the first cycle the average value is 66 with less categories, while the completeness of the administration of learning owned by teachers in the second cycle average the average value is 87 with a very good category. In the implementation of learning activities carried out by teachers in the first cycle the average value was 77.33 with enough categories, increasing in the second cycle with an average value of 90 with good categories. It was concluded that friendly supervision was effectively carried out in improving the quality of teacher learning.

The main problem of the low quality of education is that the person most responsible for education (parents) has given full trust to the teacher in the school so that the purpose of this study is how partnership between parents and teachers is intertwined in improving the quality of education in the school. Based on the theory that parents have a big role to play in the quality of school education and their participation can improve performance, especially in the foundation stage of the education system. This research method is to use qualitative research with sampling methods for parents and teachers in their expectations and forms of participation in improving the quality of education. The results of this study indicate that the expectation of parents and teachers is hight to build partnership and the form of their involvement is to constantly improve communication between them and ready to give fully what teachers need for their children's education.

The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of teachers through guiding the preparation of classroom action research in MIN 2, Mataram City. This research method uses school action research. This research was carried out by the principal as the main observer as well as a guide in the preparation of Classroom Action Research assisted by an administrative staff as an observer who recorded the results of the actions taken by the researcher. The action in this research was carried out in two cycles consisting of four meetings. The results of this study indicate that before holding the teacher evaluation results are very poor in understanding the material about proposals and reporting on classroom action research, after guidance in the first cycle there was an increase in grades that all teachers received below the standard value to 50% of teachers have obtained a standard value. After guidance in the second cycle, all teachers (100%) have the ability to prepare proposals and report on classroom action research. Thus in this school action research researchers consider to have been completed and have significant results.
