Our purpose is to elucidate a writing technique devised for experience-based study abroad programs. Known as the Fieldbook, the technique has been used with significant success on field study programs offered through Pitzer College. We believe the applied research offered in our case study contributes in critical ways to our understanding of pedagogical practices and suggests positive new directions for improving student learning.

The covid-19 pandemic has shifted the learning system in Indonesia to distance learning, or better known as online learning. Various education units carry out online learning, this can bring about changes in learning activities. Whether it’s from students, teachers and the learning environment. From the existing phenomena, the researcher wants to conduct an analysis related to learning motivation and student learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims (1) to find out how student motivation during the covid-19 pandemic and (2) to find out how student learning outcomes during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is qualitative descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The research subjects were students of X OTKP class, vocational high school 1 Ngawi while the value of student learning outcomes was taken in the General Administration subject. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses percentages. From the research conducted, it was found that the six indicators of learning motivation got an average of 84,28%, which means that student learning motivation falls into the high motivation category. While the average value of student learning outcomes got a percentage of 82,64%. Which means that student learning the category of good learning outcomes.

Learning is an important part in the transformation of knowledge in both formal and non-formal education. As time goes by and the learning process still faces various problems in the field. Among those problems is related to the use of learning strategies by a teacher. The use of learning strategies should be able to increase learning motivation, but there are many uses of learning strategies that can not increase student motivation. From here the researchers tried to implement participatory learning strategies to increase student learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education subjects. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the effectiveness of the implementation of Participatory Learning Learning Strategies in Improving Student Learning Motivation in Islamic Religious Education Subjects in Pontang 1 Junior High School. While the purpose of this study is to describe the Effectiveness of Implementing Participatory Learning Strategies in Improving Student Learning Motivation in Islamic Religious Education Subjects. This research was conducted at Pontang 1 Junior High School. The research approach used in this study uses a qualitative approach while the research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model, which is an interactive analysis model. The steps of analysis include data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The informants in this study are the principal, teachers of Islamic education subjects and students. In the process of carrying out this research there were 6 stages that were passed. The stages are as follows: 1) The stage of fostering familiarity, 2) The stage of identifying needs, resources, and possible barriers to learning, 3) The stage of formulating learning objectives, 4) The stage of preparing learning activities programs, 5) The stage of implementing learning activities and 6) Stage of assessment of the process and results of learning activities. The results of this study indicate that the application of this learning strategy is less effective for learning Islamic Religious Education subjects. students do not have a high motivation to learn so, in learning many students do not pay attention to the material. So that the application of this learning strategy is less effective students are less interested and less motivated to learn Islamic Religious Education because the material has already been obtained.

Motivation to learn is a person’s desire to take part in the learning process. Students are motivated to do an activity for their personal gain to achieve satisfaction from the lessons or the feeling that their needs are fulfilled. During the COVID-19 pandemic, students were forced to shift to learning online. The motivation to study online is related to the student’s achievement. Learning achievement is used as an indicator of the student’s competence in the teaching materials. High achievement can be reached by persistence in learning, which is formed through the learning motivation that will direct the student’s behaviour towards achieving maximum learning achievement. This study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and student achievement in Prosthetic Orthotic Major at the Health Polytechnic Surakarta. It employs a quantitative research method using a correlation research design. The study used the Google Form Online Questionnaire as an instrument for data collection. The sample included 447 students of the Prosthetic Orthotic Major at the Health Polytechnic Surakarta. The results of the normality test showed that the data were not normally distributed. Hypothesis testing was carried out using Spearman’s test and obtained a significant value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a relationship between online learning motivation and student learning achievement. This study aims to find out how the influence of learning motivation on student achievement in school. This research is focused on the teacher's role in fostering student learning motivation. This motivation is very important for improving student learning achievement. Because as is well known, student motivation in learning is lacking. This will affect its success in learning. For this reason, there is a need for efforts by teachers to increase interest in learning and motivate students to be more enthusiastic about achieving in school. The approach taken in this journal research is the approach (library research) which uses literature as its object. From the research of several literatures, the results of this study indicate that learning motivation has an influence on student learning activities, especially on student achievement. The higher the student's motivation, the better the learning achievement. Vice versa, the lower the motivation of student learning, it will be difficult for these students to achieve achievement in learning. The teacher also has a very important role and has an influence on student motivation in school.

The Covid-19 pandemic that has spread throughout the country has made the government decide teaching and learning activities to be carried out boldly (online). Learning makes students bored and eventually lazy to learn. Researchers are trying to create new breakthroughs to increase student learning motivation to increase, namely by utilizing interactive learning media based on kahoot in brave learning. This study uses a literature review method where the data obtained from research comes from articles or journals that are relevant to the topic, or other people's research results are then analyzed again to draw a conclusion. The results of this research kahoot interactive media can be used in bold learning because of its easy use and includes a link or website so that it can be accessed by students. This interactive media also makes students not easily bored in the learning process. Learning that increases in fun can make students' learning motivation, this is because students do not feel bored easily when learning takes place, so students feel motivated and feel comfortable when learning using Kahoot media.

Motivation in learning has a role to foster a sense of pleasure, passion, and enthusiasm for learning. The lack of learning motivation in distance learning is caused by the process of learning, where students can become less active in conveying their opinions and thoughts, causing a boring learning process. Student learning motivation is also influenced by lecturer performance. The purpose of this study was to examine student learning motivation in online learning at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University. Various methods are applied in distance learning activities, including the google meet application, zoom application, google classroom, youtube, television, and whatsapp social media. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires which were used as research instruments. Sampling was carried out using the saturated sample method or the census method, namely 48 students who took financial management courses as respondents. To test the research instrument, validity and reliability were tested. Classical Assumption Test is used to test the Regression model. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that the application of online learning and lecturer performance has a positive and significant impact simultaneously or partially on student learning motivation at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University. Thus, it can be suggested that to support learning more effectively, it is better to use more varied learning methods and learning support facilities need more attention.

This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation and study habits on the learning outcomes of high school students in Ambon City. Survey research was conducted at SMA Ambon samples included 200 students drawn at random(randomsampling).Testing the research hypothesis using multiple regression analysis with SPSS. The results of this study conclude that: (1) there is a significant effect of learning motivation on student learning outcomes, (2) there is a significant effect of learning habits on student learning outcomes, and (3) there is a joint effect of learning motivation and learning habits on learning outcomes students. Based on the results of this study, it was recommended that improving student learning outcomes required increased learning motivation and study habits.

The role of teachers in improving student learning motivation is one of the integral activities that must be in learning activities. In addition to providing and transferring teacher knowledge is also tasked to improve children's motivation in learning. It cannot be denied that student learning with others is very different, that's why it is important for teachers to always motivate students so that students always have the spirit of learning and being able become students who excel and can develop themselves optimally. The learning process will succeed if students have motivation in learning. Therefore, teachers need to foster optimal student motivation. Teachers are demanded to be creative to arouse student learning motivation. Learning motivation is meaningfulness, value, and the benefits of learning learning activities are quite interesting for students to do learning activities.

COVID-19 has temporarily suspended educational and learning activities that require students to study at home for safety and health. Efforts are being made to change conventional learning into online learning using modern technology by developing internet-based learning. This study aims to determine: (1) how the students' learning motivation online learning (2) how the student learning outcomes in online learning. The type of research that will be conducted is descriptive quantitative. Sampling was purposive sampling, the sample used was class X MA Hidayatul Insan Palangka Raya. The instruments used in this study were a learning motivation questionnaire and student learning outcomes tests. Based on the results of this study, students' learning motivation in online learning was obtained as many as 80% of students in the medium category and 20% had students' motivation in the low category. The analysis of the data above, it shows that the average student motivation is in the medium category with an average number of 68.2. And student learning outcomes show that there are 3 students who have not completed and 7 students have completed online learning. With a percentage of 70% completeness and the overall average score of students is 77.3.
