The authors pay attention to bibliographic analysis in the field of health tourism. The primary purpose of the study is to find out which countries’ works predominate in scientific circles, and which nationalities have the most significant influence in the scientific community in terms of the number and content of their research. In particular, they do an in-depth analysis of researches in health tourism marketing. The authors put forward hypotheses about the growing popularity of marketing research in this category, which they confirmed during their investigation. Besides, the study concluded that most articles in health tourism marketing are analytical, systematizing data from secondary sources. The authors constructed a visualized representation of the relationships of important concepts, namely the services market, tourism market, health, and medical tourism. The total number of articles and cited articles in the authoritative world scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science have been performed. TOP authors and countries that make the most considerable contribution to the number of studies of the selected category are selected. The main keywords used in articles on health tourism are systematized, among which it is possible to single out a cluster of purely marketing concepts. The authors constructed a PRISMA chart to cut off less relevant articles and select those related to the marketing aspects of the health services market. The inferences made it possible to form a detailed classification of health tourism by identifying key categories and the role of components of the tourist offer in them. The author’s research will be useful for further research in health tourism, as it provides a basis for some of the works already analyzed and describes the tools for bibliographic analysis of literature sources. Keywords: health tourism market, marketing in health tourism, medical tourism, preventive tourism, PRISMA diagram.

Spiritual awakenings tend to be associated with the religious rapture regardless of the spiritual path one decides to follow and are defined as temporary experiences whose main characteristic is the intensified sense of unity with the sacred. The nature of these particular phenomena gives rise to the need to carry out the in-depth analysis of the human responsiveness pattern in relation to the external stimuli, especially within the context of a religious experience. The limbic system, believed to be the headquarters of human emotions, tends to be easily activated, both verbally and non-verbally, and such activation may influence human behavior to a great extent. The principal objective of this paper is to provide a detailed classification of awakening experiences as well as to focus on the role of the amygdala and hippocampus in the production of particular religious experiences such as spiritual visions, speaking in the tongues or astral projections.

Today, many different types of scams can be found on the internet. Online criminals are always finding new creative ways to trick internet users, be it in the form of lottery scams, downloading scam apps for smartphones or fake gambling websites. This paper presents a large-scale study on one particular delivery method of online scam: pop-up scam on typosquatting domains. Typosquatting describes the concept of registering domains which are very similar to existing ones while deliberately containing common typing errors; these domains are then used to trick online users while under the belief of browsing the intended website. Pop-up scam uses JavaScript alert boxes to present a message which attracts the user’s attention very effectively, as they are a blocking user interface element. Our study among typosquatting domains derived from the Majestic Million list utilising an Austrian IP address revealed on 1219 distinct typosquatting URLs a total of 2577 pop-up messages, out of which 1538 were malicious. Approximately a third of those distinct URLs (403) were targeted and displayed pop-up messages to one specific HTTP user agent only. Based on our scans, we present an in-depth analysis as well as a detailed classification of different targeting parameters (user agent and language) which triggered varying kinds of pop-up scams. Furthermore, we expound the differences of current pop-up scam characteristics in comparison with a previous scan performed in late 2018 and examine the use of IDN homograph attacks as well as the application of message localisation using additional scans with IP addresses from the United States and Japan.

Purpose. Identification of the role of government in the development of competitive medical tourism offers. Method. This is exploratory research, employing the grounded theory method that is characterized by an inductive approach to the analysed issue. Findings. Governments of the most competitive medical tourism destinations relatively rarely take on the role of service producers or developers. More often, they assume the role of service regulators, especially in the area concerning the quality of services and conditions for development of medical tourism. The scope and particular methods of intervention differ but it can be hypothesized that there are two basic models: in the first one, the private sector is a catalyst of development while the government takes on the role of a co-ordinator at the most advanced phase, in the second one, the government initiates and leads the development since its early stages. Research and conclusions limitations. The research has been based on secondary sources and covers selected cases in the particular period that may affect the generalization of the outcomes. Practical implications. The research provides some guidelines concerning the involvement of government and the instruments to deliver competitive medical tourism offers. Originality. The research makes an original attempt to identify governments’ activities in the area of medical tourism and provides a documented elaboration on Porter’s concept of competitiveness for the 10 top, most competitive destinations. The purpose and number of cases that were examined differ the research from similar attempts more limited in their scope. Type of paper. Empirical research on 10 cases.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to determine the relationships between the health tourists’ perceptions on decisive factors (i.e. experience, technological infrastructure, flight distance, legal and moral restrictions, touristic attractions, religious similarity, waiting time and price of health tourism) and Turkey as their choice of healthcare tourism destination. Design/methodology/approach The data for this empirical study were collected from 288 patients in Turkey, all of whom being health tourists from various countries. Descriptive statistics and Kruskal–Wallis difference tests were utilized for analyses. Findings Statistically significant differences were found among health tourists in regards to the geographical regions of their residence. These finding suggest that differences among health tourists in regards to the geographical regions of their residence contributed to the healthcare tourists’ behaviors and health tourism market segmentations in Turkey. Research limitations/implications Among the constraints of the study are the time and funding limitations coupled with the limitations on the scale development attempts in the health tourism literature and limitation and biases related to primary data collection. Despite all these limitations, by being the first study exploring the health tourism market segmentations in Turkey, this study contributes to the literature about the perceptions of health tourists and their reasons in choosing Turkey as a health tourism destination. Practical implications Determining the Turkey’s health tourism market segmentations will generate the positive effect on the target market which is currently heterogeneous for health tourism operators and intermediary institutions. Moreover, this knowledge would allow the target market to be divided into homogeneous groups, with different marketing mixes for each group. Homogenized groups exhibit unified purchasing behaviors for their needs. Therefore, it is very important for health tourism operators and intermediary institutions to know how the preferences of health tourists from different geographical regions vary. Originality/value The paper fulfills a need for advancing the knowledge on the decisive factors in determining Turkey as the health tourism destination by revealing perceptions of health tourists from various geographical regions. This information is very valuable for the Turkey’s healthcare tourism marketing managers who desire to implement the strategies to achieve competitive advantage in the global health tourism market.

The appropriate use of debt funds and proper servicing of public debt is determined by the stability of the economy. The solution to these issues will determine the effectiveness of the implementation of budgetary policy in the state, the stability of the national currency. To solve these problems, the search for ways and methods for effective management and servicing of public debt in the country is being carried out. It is quite reasonable to consider public debt as an important instrument of financial policy in the state. It is the main criterion for determining how effective the economy is and how well the state performs its functions both at the national and international levels. Economists at different times had different approaches to determining public debt, the expediency of borrowing by the state and the role of the state in the economic life of the country and the resulting further opportunity to accept debts and manage financial resources. However, today economists cite a number of features, functions of public debt, and scientists have developed different approaches to understanding this concept based on the criteria of the sources of their formation and characteristics. Approaches to the interpretation of public debt are extremely different, thereby complementing each other and show how complex the subject of research is and how broadly it can be interpreted. There are many approaches to determining public debt, as well as its impact on the state economy. Some approaches complement each other, others completely contradict each other. However, the tendency for the state to take on debts, whether external or internal, remains inevitable. And the expediency and justification of taking such, it will be possible to speak only on the fact of use of these means and development or, on the contrary, decline of economy. However, public debt as an economic category is an integral part of the state’s economy, where the state acts as an active participant in debt relations. That is why in the article the authors highlight the economic content and purpose of public debt on the basis of the works of well-known domestic and foreign economists highlight its main functions, carry out a detailed classification of debt borrowings according to a number of features.
