Abstract Background Community health workers (CHWs) are the mainstay of the public health system, serving for decades in low-resource countries. Their multi-dimensional work in various health care services, including the prevention of communicable diseases and health promotion of non-communicable diseases, makes CHWs, the frontline workers in their respective communities in India. As India is heading towards the development of One Health (OH), this study attempted to provide an insight into potential OH activists (OHA) at the community level. Thus, this case study in one of India’s western cities, Ahmedabad, targeted identifying OHA by exploring the feasibility and the motivation of CHWs in a local setting. Methods This case study explores two major CHWs, i.e., female (Accredited Social Health Activists/ASHA) health workers (FHWs) and male (multipurpose) health workers (MHWs), on their experience and motivation for becoming an OHA. The data were collected between September 2018 and August 2019 through a mixed design, i.e., quantitative data (cross-sectional structured questionnaire) followed by qualitative data (focus group discussion with a semi-structured interview guide). Results The motivation of the CHWs for liaisoning as OHA was found to be low; however, the FHWs have a higher mean motivation score [40 (36–43)] as compared to MHWs [37 (35–40)] out of a maximum score of 92. Although most CHWs have received zoonoses training or contributed to zoonoses prevention campaigns, their awareness level was found to be different among male and female health workers. Comparing the female and male health workers to act as OHA, higher motivational score, multidisciplinary collaborative work experience, and way for incentive generation documented among the female health workers. Conclusion ASHAs were willing to accept the additional new liaison role of OHAs if measures like financial incentives and improved recognition are provided. Although this study documented various systemic factors at the individual, community, and health system level, which might, directly and indirectly, impact the acceptance level to act as OHA, they need to be accounted for in the policy regime.

This study aimed to highlight the challenge that Secondary School teachers face in integrating the Islamic concept of tawhid in teaching science and history subjects. The research employed a qualitative design using a case study and collect data. A purposive sample consisting of 5 teachers from Al-Amin Islamic Secondary School was selected based on teaching experience. The teachers were interviewed according to a theme-based strategy, and collected data was transcribed and analyzed accordingly. Findings have shown that integrating tawhid in the subjects of Science and History is an aim that teachers in Islamic schools in Malaysia hope to achieve. However, obstacles and challenges continue to hinder their efforts. Theoretical and practical propositions and recommendations to make this aim achievable, such as revisiting the concept of tawhid integration, enhancing teachers' creativity skills in the classroom, and providing relevant training programs by school authorities, would undoubtedly help attain their ultimate objective.

This study was conducted to reveal the aspect of distance education studies on teaching of mathematics with the evaluation by class teachers during the Covid-19 Pandemic period. 24 primary school teachers from Onikisubat district of Kahramanmaras province have participated in the research. The semi-structured interview form developed in line with the expert opinions was applied to the primary school teachers separately. This study was required in order to evaluate the events experienced in the distance education process due to the coronavirus pandemic and the effects of the pandemic on the field of education in the direction of the opinions of the class teachers. Qualitative research was carried out to interpret any situation from a different perspective in the study, and a case study has been conducted to reach the depth of the situation. As a data collection tool, a semi-structured interview form was prepared with the approval of expert opinions. After the data were brought together, content analysis was carried out by giving similar descriptions and describing them in a way that the reader could comprehend. The sample of the study consisted of teachers who personally experienced the process in the nearby environment, which consists of easily accessible situation sampling in order to accelerate the study. It is thought that it will be important to work properly execution of the processes that may occur in such times by determining the causes and consequences of the situations experienced in the field of education due to reasons such as the suspension of face-to-face education and the cessation of schools after the pandemic in the world. As a result of the research, suggestions will be made for the studies that can be done about teaching mathematics in distance education.

This study is an attempt to analyze the association between social, economic and demographic factors on the female teachers’ empowerment level. A cross?sectional data was generated following two stage random sampling. First 20 schools were selected then 189 respondents were randomly selected and interviewed. In this study rather than women’s age, age at marriage, work experience and husband’s education and occupation, women’s self achievement to earn more income, economic status and positive attitude towards job have positive influence in enhancing empowerment. This study underpins the importance of economic interventions to empower and uplift all round condition of women. This paper departs from the issue of the hidden curriculum that occurred during the last 10 years. Hidden curriculum is the practice of school education that contributes to education. Previous studies discuss the role of the state, the role of the school and the teacher's role in the practice of hidden curriculum separately.While in this paper, the researchers wanted to demonstrate the practice of hidden curriculum in a comprehensive manner by using thought Henry Giroux. This research is a case study with a qualitative approach. This research was conducted in 2019 by conducting in-depth interviews, observation and documents. The findings in this study (1) there is a contestation of values ​​due to differences in ideology trustees and teachers that are implemented in the practice of hidden curriculum, (2) The practice of hidden curriculum is done by the board of trustees behind the development of a formal curriculum, and carried out by the teacher to maintain the old identity through daily practices, (3) impacted on the delay on student achievement, because it is generally the practice of hidden curriculum support the practice of the formal curriculum, but the opposite what happened.. advice in this study is need to agree and trust between the board of trustees and school teachers in order to get maximum achievement.

This study aims to identify the implementation of online learning conducted by teachers to provide the best service to students. This can be seen from health, fitness, spirit, duration of services related to education, applications used, signal conditions, teacher readiness in providing services outside the provisions of working hours, available learning facilities, and several other online learning activities Covid-19 pandemic. This study involved 254 vocational school teachers in Solo Raya. Quantitative data is netted through questionnaires that are disseminated using Google Form facilities. Meanwhile, we obtained qualitative information from interviews designed using WhatsApp and telephone facilities. The results showed that 52.2% of teachers admitted to agreeing not to have any health complaints. Teachers are always fit for online learning, with 58.9% agreeing. Teachers were always excited when they were online, with 68.4% answering agreed. The implementation of online learning requires more service time. 64.9% of teachers provide services about 14 hours per day. 64.1% of teachers agreed that they are ready to provide online services to students outside the working hours. Teachers have RPP as a sign of online learning, with 68.8% of teachers agreeing
