The article outlines a critical analysis of theoretical approaches to the development of the concept of foresight marketing on the basis of which the own definition of “foresight marketing” has been developed. Modern enterprises are interested in receiving reasonable foresight forecasts in marketing, which was not sufficiently distributed in the practical activity of the enterprise.Theoretical and practical aspects of the foresight framework are still explored insufficiently. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to improve the theoretical framework of foresight marketing and to create the conceptual model of foresight marketing.The following scientific methods have been used in this research: system analysis, content analysis, comparative method, method of logical generalization, morphological method, dialectics of the relationship between fundamental and applied knowledge.The analysis revealed imperfection of the theoretical apparatus of foresight marketing, thus, the modern approach to the interconnection and balance of foresight marketing and strategic marketing on the enterprises was suggested. To develop a conceptual model of foresight marketing, the authors have considered and described its major components. A conceptual model of foresight marketing is a systematic combination of certain elements, namely: conditions, barriers, and prerequisites; subject and object; methodology of foresight marketing; principles, tools, and categories.The article presents a generalized model of foresight marketing process, which shows the basic subjects and bases on four consecutive stages. The authors provide a new perspective as for the concept of foresight marketing and the basic prerequisites for the implementation of foresight in marketing management.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the possibility of applying foresight methodology for the preservation of traditional socio-cultural values as an important element of innovative development.  Given the interdisciplinary nature of the problem, the methodology of the study is based on the complex-integrative combination of theoretical approaches of a number of sciences, in particular, cultural studies, public administration, as well as general scientific methods of system analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalization, and sub. The scientific novelty is connected with an attempt to outline theoretical and practical aspects of the importance of forsite methodology in preserving the traditions from the projection into practical measures of the state in this sphere. Conclusions. The forsite methodology - as a strategy of public administration of forsite on the basis of forward-thinking - is intended to promote the effectiveness of social development. The actual advance is the innovative mechanism that can, on the one hand, ensure the dynamics of development, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, ensure social stability on the basis of previous achievements and resources, which are analyzed and form (simulate) the idea of ​​a new scenario. At the same time, the results of forsite should be reflected in practical recommendations on the definition of promising directions of the state's cultural policy, in particular regarding the introduction of new forms of support for the activities of various components of the socio-cultural sphere. Subject. The article addresses the transformations in the field of modern economic science. They have led to a number of changes in theoretical approaches to company analysis, which need to update the research methodology and revise the existing theories of the firm. Objectives. The aim of the study is to identify and analyze methodological difficulties, preventing the formation of a single theory, on the basis of existing approaches to understanding the nature of the firm. Methods. The study employs general scientific methods of cognition, like the inductive and deductive method, the method of scientific abstraction, methods of comparison and analogy, the historical method. Results. The paper reviews and systematizes the main theories of the firm. The review demonstrates that the firm is a complex structure. It is difficult to perform a meaningful analysis within one theory. Conclusions. The modern theories of the firm partly reflect the demands of the economic science and practice regarding the definition of the essence of the firm, its main objectives and social functions, however, there have been no trends in integrating the theories and creating a unified theory of the firm.

The author of the article has studied general theoretical approaches to the content of the term of «method of activity». Based on the research of scientific works on the theory of state governance, administrative law, administrative management, public management, the author has formulated own definition of the concept of «methods of public management within the agencies of the National Police of Ukraine», which are methods and approaches of authoritative and management influence management applied by authorized entities within their competence aimed at streamlining the organizational structure of the system of the National Police of Ukraine, planning, preparation, development, execution and implementation of management decisions, organization of the work of the management apparatus, implementation of documentary, informational, personnel, psychological provision of the activities of the agencies and units of the National Police. The classification of methods of public management within the National Police has been carried out and the features of their application in the management activities of police agencies and units have been highlighted. Thus, the methods of public management within the National Police should be divided into 2 types: organizational and regulatory, organizational and administrative. Among organizational and administrative methods of public management, it is advisable to distinguish active and passive methods. In turn, organizational and regulatory methods should be divided into regulation and norming, which can be methodical and imperative by the nature of its implementation. The methods of preparation, acceptance and execution of management decisions in the system of the National Police have been separately considered. These include: general scientific methods (analysis, synthesis), methods of sociological research, heuristic methods, methods of direct and indirect observation, methods of planning and forecasting, methods for modeling the situation and developing scenarios, statistical methods.

The purpose of the article is to study the economic aspects of franchising in the USA. The subject of the study is some economic features of franchising activity in the USA. Research methodology. The research is based on the use of general scientific and special-scientific methods and techniques of scientific knowledge. The dialectical method allowed us to investigate the definition of franchising in the USA. Comparative legal method was used to compare legislative approaches to this issue. The statistical method was used to establish data that reflects the effectiveness of franchising activities. The method of system analysis helped to find out in which areas of economic activity franchising is most demanded. Interpretation of the content of the US legal acts governing issues related to franchising was realized with the help of the normative-dogmatic method. The system-structural method was used to study franchising in the USA as a single entity (system) with the coordinated functioning of all its elements. Methods of analysis and synthesis helped to study some economic aspects of the studied category to formulate further conclusions. Practical application. The positive experience of the USA in regulating issues related to franchising can be used for making appropriate changes to the Ukrainian legislation. Since franchising had originated and developed in this country, it is advisable to identify the key economic and some legal features of this area of business activity. Correlation/originality. This scientific work is the first research in Ukraine devoted not only to the general issues of franchising activity regulation, but specifically to the economic features of franchise activity in a separate country (in the USA).


The paper considers existing theoretical approaches to the analysis of socio-cultural aspects of globalization economic processes. The relevance of the study is the fact that the process of globalization, which manifest sit self in various spheres of public life, since the second half of the twentieth century, provides both new opportunities and new challenges for humanity not only in the economy and geopolitics, but also in demography, ecology, technology, culture. Today, it is clear that the spread of the influence of globalization on the value-normative foundations of national cultures in different regions of the world often leads to problems of cultural identification. The subject of research of the article is the socio-cultural aspects of global economic processes. The goal is to study the evolution of the theoretical approaches to the analysis of the socio-cultural aspects of globalization economic processes and their impact on the overall civilization development. The objective is to research the issue of existing theoretical approaches to the analysis of socio-cultural aspects of globalization economic processes. General scientific methods are used, such as system analysis. The following results were obtained: today it is obvious that the spread of the influence of globalization on the value-normative bases of national cultures in different regions of the world often leads to problems of cultural identification. Conclusions: on the basis of the conducted research, it was concluded that globalization, which is understood as the aspiration of humanity to a single global space while preserving the diversity of peoples and cultures, cannot be effectively realized without changing the general paradigm of human development towards creating a harmonious system of universal value sand socio-cultural practices national cultures.

The article analyzes scientific approaches to the definition of research methods for the prevention of criminal offenses in criminal-executive institutions. Methods of knowledge are important for the chosen research methodology, and they are means of revealing, deploying and systematizing the content of the subject of research on the prevention of criminal offenses in criminal-executive institutions. It has been established that recently scientists in their research have not only begun to create their own methodological tools, but have subjected it to scientific analysis, which positively affects the final result of the study. However, in such cases, young scientists often reduce it to a traditional list of general scientific methods of cognition, since they are universal and are used in any cognitive process. It is determined that the necessary condition for the application of the historical and legal method is the observance of the principle of unity of historical and logical, which consists in the logic of the study of the prevention of criminal offenses in criminal-executive institutions; discloses the historical recurrence of its phenomena and processes, their general principles of development, regardless of the specific forms in which they are expressed. It was noted that when applying the comparative legal method in the study of the prevention of criminal offenses in criminal-executive institutions, the goal should not be to fully implement foreign experience, since such borrowing is possible only considering the specifics of the functioning of the State criminal-executive service of Ukraine. The most common sociological methods for knowing and assessing the level of criminal offenses committed in criminal-executive institutions are the method of interviewing convicts and staff and the method of expert assessments. These methods are the most universal for identifying the causes and conditions of criminal offences in criminal-executive institutions. It has been established that the choice of a research method depends on many factors, but its basis is mandatory methods: dialectical; comparative legal, historical; historical and legal, sociological and dogmatic. To a lesser extent, scientists use methods such as: the method of structural-system analysis; formal legal; statistical; formal-logical; a systemic-structural and systematic method. The methods and tools of scientific analysis of criminal offences committed in criminal-executive institutions by both convicts and staff allow the State Prison Service to develop comprehensive scientifically based measures to prevent them.

Purpose of study: The aim of the study is to systematize theoretical approaches to the consideration of the nature and structure of the strategic potential of the organization of the agro-industrial complex, since its effective management has a huge impact on the achievement of the organization’s strategic goals of its development and the competitiveness of the organization as a whole. Methodology: The theoretical and methodological basis of the study are the works of foreign and domestic economic scientists, who present approaches to the study of the strategic potential of the organization of the agro-industrial complex. General scientific methods, such as analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, detailing and generalization, comparison, formalization, analogy, historical, logical and systematic approaches, were used as research tools in the present work. Main Findings: The feasibility of applying an effective target approach to determine the essence of the organization’s strategic potential has been determined. The definition of the strategic potential of the organization of the agro-industrial complex is formulated and its characteristics are determined. The necessity of using the resource-functional approach to determine the structure of the organization’s strategic potential has been proved. Applications of this study: The main provisions of the scientific article are the basis for solving practical problems of improving the management of the strategic potential of the organization of the agricultural and industrial complex and can be used directly by the head in making strategic management decisions that provide economically justified development of the organization in the future. Novelty/Originality of this study: The scientific novelty of the study is to substantiate the theoretical provisions on the essence and structure of the strategic potential of the organization of the agro-industrial complex, aimed at solving the problems of improving strategic management in the agro-industrial complex to improve its efficiency and competitiveness.

To trace and ascertain the versatility of ornamental graphical language as one of the main peculiarities of contemporary paper-cutting (vytynanka). To identify the features and characteristics of the ornamental graphical language, to form a definition for the notion of paper-cutting art. Methodology. In the process of research, the author used such general scientific methods as: analysis, synthesis, systematization. The comparative method and the method of visual stylistic analysis were also applied. Results. The author has compared and analyzed the replicas of original art works; the former are reproduced in varying materials. The notion of ornamental graphical language of contemporary paper-cutting (vytynanka) has been researched, its general features and characteristics have been defined, and the definition has been formed. Based on the research result, it is suggested to introduce a range of changes to the notion of "vytynanka" regarding the characteristics of materials and techniques used. The main directions of paper-cutting art have been out lined: traditional and contemporary vytynanka. Attention has been paid to the importance of making a distinction between the contemporary vytynanka and graphic art, which is possible only through the analysis of their ornamental graphical anguage. Scientific novelty. The definition of "paper-cutting (vytynanka)", dentification of its main characteristics as the basis for a new classification, the reference of paper graphics (machine paper-cutting) into a separate group. Practical significance. Ornamental graphical language is presented in the study as one of the main characteristics of vytynanka, which should become the basis for a new classification of paper-cutting art works. The research results can be used for further artistic search of signature style at the boundary of different art forms. Exhibiting a certain group of professional paper-cutting art works as examples of graphic art has been justified.

The purpose of the article is to study the economic and legal nature of the franchise agreement in Romania. Franchising has become one of the most effective tools for economic activity and profiting in this country, and the franchising agreement is a form, in which all aspects of this activity are reflected: the rights and obligations of the parties, the price of the franchise, the duration of the franchise relations, transactions between the franchisor and the franchisee, the prohibition of competitive actions, etc. The subject of the study is the franchise agreement in Romania. Research methodology. The research is based on the use of general scientific and special-scientific methods and techniques of scientific knowledge. The dialectical method allowed us to investigate the definition of a franchise agreement in Romania and its key terms. The comparative legal method was used to compare doctrinal approaches to this issue. The statistical method was used to establish data that reflects the effectiveness of franchising activities. The method of system analysis helped to find out, in which areas of economic activity franchising is most demanded. Interpretation of the content of Romanian legal acts governing issues related to the conclusion of a franchise agreement in this country was realized with the help of the normative-dogmatic method. The system-structural method was used to study the franchise agreement in Romania as a single entity (system) with the coordinated functioning of all its elements. The methods of grouping and classifying formed the basis for separating the list of conditions, which are necessary for concluding a franchise agreement in Romania, as well as provisions that should be included in the content of this agreement. Methods of analysis and synthesis helped to study some parts of this agreement to formulate further conclusions. Practical application. The positive experience of Romania in regulating issues related to the conclusion of a franchise contract can be used for making appropriate changes to the Ukrainian legislation. Thus, in Romania, a special regulatory act (Ordinance 52/1997), which regulates the procedure for concluding this agreement, defines the rights and obligations of the parties and establishes the essential terms of the contract and the principles for its implementation, was adopted. Issues which are not regulated by the Ordinance are subject to the Civil and the Commercial Codes of the country, as well as European legislation, which sets out requirements for the prohibition of competition. Correlation/originality. This scientific work is the first research in Ukraine devoted not only to general issues of regulation of franchising activity in Europe but specifically to the franchise agreement in a separate country (in Romania) and its legal and economic peculiarities.
