The crisis caused by COVID-19 has increased interest to the subject of integrity in organizations. The purpose of this study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the opinions on the value of honesty, broken down by the group of supervisors and subordinates during the crisis caused by COVID-19. The analysis was carried out in Poland among undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in fields representing disciplines other than management. The paper used a survey method; 102 respondents took part in the survey. 9.52% of men and 5.00% of women in the group of subordinates did not have opinions on this subject. In the group of supervisors, the situation was completely opposite: 6.25% of women and 4.76% of men showed such a result. Significant discrepancies were noticed in the assessment of the importance of honesty depending on the education field of the respondents. The difference between the highest assessments of the importance of this value was 33.70 percentage points in the supervisors’ group, and 38.64 percentage points in the subordinates group. Drawing attention to this problem, which affects all participants of an organization to a different extent, may help to shape the ethical attitudes of future managers and, in consequence, manage their organizations better.

In this study, the effect of the gel coat composition on tensile strength of glass fibre reinforced polyester (GFRP) composites was evaluated. The experiments were conducted on various gel coat composition and time. Samples were immersed in sea and river water for 6 months to investigate the differences in tensile strength. Optical observation using SEM on the composites surface and comparative analysis in terms of tensile strength were used before and after immersing. As results, the most excellent tensile strength was the gel coat composition consisting of 0.3 kg of reolosil QS-102 with 10 kg of resin SHCP 268BQTN with a value of 51.9 MPa. Tensile strength reduced about 33.4 % compared to other sample where reduced to 46.3401 %. The difference in the composite surface as a result of immersion process on each sample was also discussed in this paper.

It is commonly assumed that there are differences in physicians’ and caregivers’ ethical attitudes towards clinical situations. The assumption is that the difference is driven by different values, views and judgements in specific situations. At Aalborg University Hospital, Denmark, we aimed to investigate these assumptions by conducting a large quantitative study. The study design, based on the Factorial Survey Method, was a carefully constructed survey with 50 questions designed to test which factors influenced the respondents’ ethical reasoning. The factors were clustered into three categories of ethical reasoning and values. The categories were formulated in terms of easily recognizable ethical positions: consequential ethics, deontological ethics and relational ethics. Based on 2129 respondents, we found significant support for the assumption of differences between physicians and caregivers. The group of caregivers favoured the relational ethics view in clinical ethical situations, and the group of physicians favoured the position of deontological ethics.

The paper deals with the category of “values”, the right as a value, and fundamental values of law; including freedom, justice, and equality are analyzed. The relevance of the research is determined not only by the apparent lack of exploration of the problem but also by the fact that the value of right and legal values determine direction and meaning, as well as the content of the rules of law, which is their normative expression, and, ultimately, appearing as a kind of basis for the legal culture, the source of the legal consciousness’s formation and establishing a legal order, ensuring the efficiency of legal regulations due to the using the embodiment in reality of freedom, justice, equality.Legal norms themselves acquire the importance of values and become the subject of evaluation. Among values themselves, which act as an ideal justification of the rules of law, the rules of law themselves and assessments, on the one hand, there are not only close ties but also mutual transitions. Therefore, both their interrelated explanations and differentiation are necessary. In this regard, the role and importance of rights and of the abovestated legal values, including the historically-legal aspect, their historical conditionality are disclosed, the semantic content and the importance in the establishment of the legitimacy regime are analyzed, the points of view expressed in the  research literature on the nature of legal values, signs, hierarchy,  the role in social and normative regulation are considered, the difference between value and the object of value or good is emphasized.

The article provides a comparative analysis of phraselogical units with monetary component in Ukrainian, Polish and English phraseological pictures; it has been clarified that money is the subject of many sciences: economics, philosophy, psychology, sociology, etc., and it is an integral part of society, and therefore they are the part of a core value which indicates the importance of this concept. The article investigates and reveals universal and cultural-specific features of phrases with a component of money on the material of phraseological pictures of Ukrainian, Polish and English cultures. The relevance of phraseological units, sayings, proverbs, winged expressions with the money component in the modern world has been proved, because the phraseological picture better reflects the changes that are taking place in the sphere of economics, politics, culture etc., it has been found that money is associated with national self-knowledge; it has been revealed ambivalence regarding money: on the one hand, they arise as a value, and on the other, as a social evil. The most promising research is a comparative study of Slavic (Ukrainian, Byelorussian, Polish) and German (English, German) phrases to indicate people’s attitude to money.

The background of the study was that the number of elderly people in the world and Indonesia in particular had increased and was a burden if their health conditions were not given enough attention. One of the issues of concern is the educational evaluation of the use of elderly anthropometer chairs can increase the comfort feeling of the elderly. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the educational use of anthropometer elderly chairs can reduce musculoskeletal complaints and increase the feeling of comfort in the elderly. The study was conducted at the Posyandu of Tumbak Bayuh Mengwi Village, Badung Regency, Bali Province and in the Posyandu RW 12, Bedali Village, UPT, Lawang Public Health Center, Malang Regency because they have similar characteristics. The method used is experimental (quasi experiment) using the same design as the subject (treatment by subject design). The results of the study concluded that musculoskeletal complaints in the initial condition with analysis using the t-pair test, obtained insignificant results (p> 0.05), meaning that there was no difference between the initial conditions.  Analysis Test the difference in the final condition (post) obtained significant results (p * <0.05) meaning that there is a difference between the final condition and the t-pair test analysis on comfort shows a value of p <0.05, meaning that the elderly shows a sense of comfort using elderly anthropometer chair. Recommended for Puskesmas in posyandu to have anthropometer elderly chairs and educate their use in the elderly.

Game-theoretical interpretation of logical semantics has been first suggested in 1950s. Although it is well know among professionals, it is often excluded from introductory courses in logic. In this paper we examine whether and to what extent would including game semantics in the syllabus of an introductory course of predicate and propositional logic prove to be beneficial to students’ understanding of the subject. To that purpose, we have exposed two groups of undergraduate students of computer science to game semantics as part of recitations for the course Propositional and Predicate Logic. We focus mainly on how this affects students’ mastery of two particular topics – alternating quantification and restricted quantification. Observations were made during the recitations to evaluate any changes in students’ approach to solving relevant problems in classroom. Moreover, before the final test of the recitations one of the groups was given a brief review of game semantics and the other was not. We have measured the difference in performance of these two groups and the results support the hypothesis that game semantics helps students master certain topics of predicate logic. We reference some of the later research in psychology and pedagogy to help us explain this effect.

After 30 years of use the factor structure of the Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale remains the subject of debate. Most studies have focused on school-aged or undergraduate students. There are few psychometric data for older people or for those with disabilities. This study compared the factor structures of the Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale among 117 adults with arthritis and 185 undergraduate students. A two-factor solution provided the best fit for both samples, although the item content of the factors differed slightly Further investigation is required to assess whether the difference is due to age or the presence of physical disability. Nonetheless, the scale discriminated well between students and adults with arthritis.
