<p>This study aims to determine the values of character education integrated into the learning Arabic Language Development Center UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and how to integrate and any problems faced by professors when integrating the value of the character education. This research is a field. Results showed the va-lues of character education has been integrated include: religious, honest, tole-rance, discipline, hard work, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, recognize excellence, communicative, love reading, environmental care, and res-ponsibility. How lecturer integrate include: adjust the lecture material, insert the value of a character. As for the difficulty in integrating include: the difficulty of adjusting the educational value of the existing character of the material.</p><p> </p><p>Abstrak</p><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang ter-integrasi ke dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Pembangunan Pusat Bahasa UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dan bagaimana mengintegrasikan dan masalah yang dihadapi oleh para profesor ketika mengintegrasikan nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter telah terintegrasi meliputi: agama, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, mandiri, demokrasi, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, mengakui keunggulan, komunikatif, suka membaca, peduli lingkungan, dan tanggung jawab. Bagaimana dosen mengintegrasikan meliputi: menyesuaikan materi perku-liahan, masukkan nilai karakter. Adapun kesulitan dalam mengintegrasikan meli-puti: kesulitan menyesuaikan nilai pendidikan karakter dengan material yang ada.</p>

The purposes of doing this research are to find out the types of character education values found in the Aquaman movie, (ii) recognize the character educations values are found in the Aquaman movie that possibly increase student motivation. In this research, the researcher used library research. The data of this research are character educational values in the conversation among the characters of the “Aquaman” movie. The data source in this research is a movie entitled “Aquaman”. The result shows that there are 15 types of character educational value spoken by the characters. They are: honesty, tolerance, dicipline, hardworking, creativity, curiosity, national spirit, patriotism, friendly/communicative, peacemaker, environmental care, responsibility, loaylity, respect, love & afferction. Then, the most dominant Educational values in this movie is responsible and peacemaker value.

Campus Islamization has been held at Muhammadiyah University Sukabumi since 2014 but its effectiveness has not been measured especially to revitalize student character education. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The instruments used included observation sheets for student activities in the classroom and campus environment. The results of the research show that the highest character is discipline (93.3%) and the lowest is the national spirit (60%) and the highest character is hard work (84%) and the lowest is fond of reading (61%). So it can be concluded that the results of the study show character that is expected to become complete information about the implementation of Islamization on campus as a form of efforts to revitalize character education especially at the University of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi.

This study aims to describe the values of character education in the film Kung Fu Panda and its relevance with Islamic education. This research is qualitative research using descriptive method. The data is taken from the character's dialogue in particular intercultural dialogue involving the main characters. That data is then described and analysed. This research focuses on the educational value of the character in the film.. This research found several values character education that is religious, honest, discipline, hard work, creative, democratic, curiosity, love of the motherland, social care, and responsibility. Values that are relevant to the purpose of the concept of Islamic religious education in shaping attitudes, terpuju (mahmudah morals).

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada ungkapan hikmah di sekolah dasar se-karesidenan Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang terdapat pada ungkapan hikmah di sekolah dasar se-karesidenan Surakarta. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu ungkapan hikmah yang ditempatkan di sekolah dasar se-karesidenan Surakarta. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada ungkapan hikmah yang ditempatkan di sekolah dasar se-karesidenan Surakarta meliputi religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Ungkapan hikmah yang ada sangat relevan ditempatkan di sekolah dasar. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data in this research in the form of words, phrases and sentences contained in the expression of hikmah in elementary schools in the residency of Surakarta. The source of the data in this research is the expression of hikmah placed in elementary schools in the residency of Surakarta. Research data collection used documentation techniques. Analysis of research data used content analysis. The results of the research showed the values of character education in the expression of hikmah placed in elementary schools in the residency of Surakarta include religious, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading, caring for the environment, caring socially, and being responsible. The expressions of hikmah are very relevant placed in elementary schools. It is intended that students have academic ability and nobel character.Keywords: expressions of hikmah, character values, elementary school

Novel is a kind of literary works which loads lots of character education values. It is created by extraordinary imaginative elements. This article aims at describing character education values in the novel entitled Ayah written by Andrea Hirata. The analysis applied psychology of literature approach. The result of analysis shows that in total there are fifteen different character education values found out in the novel, namely religiousity, honesty, discipline, hard work, creativity, independence, democracy, curiousity, national spirit, love country, appreciation, friendly/communicative, love peace, social care, responsibility. It is suggested that the result of this research can be an input for considering the importance of character education values as capitals for the students to face the upcoming era, beneficial for the Indonesian language and literature teacher-learning process, and ideas for further research to develop literary education, particularly related to psychological and character education value aspects.

The designof research studies are exploratif with data sources in the form of documents such as books andexpert opinions about character education, civic education content standards in 2006 about SKand KD Civics SD. The instrument used to collect the data that is documentation. Based on theanalysis results of the study showed that (1) values corresponding characters integrated into theelementary civics subjects, namely: social Caring, intelligent, patriotic, democratic, disciplined,honest, hard work, reward achievement, caring environment, curiosity, national spirit,responsibility, and tolerance, (2) integration of the device into the character value ofelementary civics lesson is done by understanding the substance of SK and KD. Cognitively,the concept of what is in SK and KD. Understand the concept and expected behavior in SK andKD to be key in the development of indicators. Of these indicators will become a reference indeveloping evaluation tools and teaching materials. Instrumen yangdigunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu dokumentasi. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter di tempat kerja industri siswa kelas XI Teknik Kendaraan Ringan Gamping Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Muhammadiyah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sekolah, di bengkel Dicky Auto Service dan Sumber Baru Perkasa KIA Motors. Subjek penelitian adalah asisten kepala sekolah bidang akademik dan kurikulum, dua tutor, dua kepala bengkel, dua mekanik dan 4 siswa. Objek penelitian ini adalah karakter. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi non-partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Uji validitas data menggunakan uji kredibilitas dan uji ketergantungan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif menurut Miles dan Huberman (1984) yang meliputi pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan nilai-nilai karakter yang dibutuhkan dalam dunia usaha dan industri (DUDI) adalah: (1) jujur, (2) disiplin, (3) kerja keras, (4) kreatif, (5) mandiri, (6) rasa ingin tahu, (7) komunikatif, (8) kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, (9) kepedulian sosial dan (10) tanggung jawab. Siswa yang magang di tempat kerja industri telah melakukan nilai-nilai karakter antara lain: (1) jujur, (2) kerja keras, (3) mandiri, (4) komunikatif, (5) merawat lingkungan, dan (6) merawat masalah sosial. Namun, ada beberapa implementasi yang kurang efektif dalam nilai karakter yaitu: (1) disiplin, (2) kreatif, (3) rasa ingin tahu, dan (4) tanggung jawab.   Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of character education in the workplace of industrial students of class XI of Limestone Light Vehicle Engineering at Muhammadiyah Vocational High School. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research was conducted at school, in the workshop of Dicky Auto Service and Sumber Baru Perkasa KIA Motors. Research subjects were assistant principals in academics and curriculum, two tutors, two workshop heads, two mechanics and 4 students. The object of this research is character. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. The data validity test uses the credibility test and the dependency test. Data analysis techniques use an interactive model according to Miles and Huberman (1984) which includes data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the application of character values ​​needed in the business world and industry were: (1) honest, (2) discipline, (3) hard work, (4) creative, (5) independent, (6) curiosity, (7) communicative, (8) environmental care, (9) social care and (10) responsibility. Students who have interned in the industrial workplace have carried out character values ​​including (1) honest, (2) hard work, (3) independent, (4) communicative, (5) caring for the environment, and (6) caring for social problems. However, there are some implementations that are less effective in character values, namely: (1) discipline, (2) creative, (3) curiosity, and (4) responsibility.

ABSTRACT This study aims to (1) describe the values of character education contained, (2) describe the values of character education that often appear in, (3) describe character education values which rarely appears, and (4) describes the values of character education that are not in the short stories of the Singgalang Daily newspaper. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, the values of character education studied in the short story of the Singgalang Daily newspaper were found. First, the short stories contained in the Singgalang Daily newspaper contain eighteen values of character education, namely the value of religious character education, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, democratic, independent, curiosity, national spirit, love for the country , appreciates achievement, is friendly/communicative, loves peace, likes to read, cares about the environment, cares for the social, and takes responsibility. Second, the value of character education that often arises is the value of friendly/ communicative character education. Third, character education values that rarely emerge are the spirit of nationalism, love of peace, and love to read. Kata kunci: nilai, pendidikan karakter, cerpen, koran, Harian Singgalang

The character education curriculum in Pembina Public Kindergarten Sema-rang was initiated since 2010 in the form of socializing ideas, internships at kindergarten Budi Mulia 2 Yogyakarta, testing, curriculum development: mapping the character values, aligning the vision, mission, and educational goals. The character values include: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, the spirit of natio-nalism, patriotism, respect for achievement, friendly, peace-loving, fond of reading, environmental care, social care , as well as responsibilities. The as-sessment of character education is done through observing students and ex-pressed in a qualitative statement. The simulation results of the character education assessment show that the majority of students (67.93%) have had a character (MK), others (23.82%) have begun to develop (MB), a small amount (6.50%) began to appear (MT), and the rests have not seen yet (1.14%) (CB).<br /><br /><strong>Abstrak</strong><br />Kurikulum pendidikan karakter di TK NPS dirintis sejak tahun 2010 berupa sosialisasi gagasan, magang di TK Budi Mulia 2 Yogyakarta, melakukan uji coba, penyusunan kurikulum: pemetaan nilai-nilai karakter, menyelaraskan visi, misi, dan tujuan pendidikan. Nilai-nilai karakter meliputi: religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, serta tanggung ja-wab. Penilaian pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui pengamatan terhadap anak didik, dinyatakan dalam pernyataan kualitatif. Hasil simulasi penilaian pendidikan karakter menunjukkan bahwa anak didik sebagian besar (67,93 %) telah memiliki karakter (MK), sebagian lainnya (23,82 %) sudah mulai berkembang (MB), sebagian kecil (6.50 %) mulai terlihat (MT), dan selebih-nya (1.14%) belum terlihat (BT).<br /><br />

This thinking contains an explanation of the values of character education in vocational camp activities. The purpose of this thought is to describe the values contained in vocational camps. The results of this thought indicate that there are 6 values of character education contained in the vocational camp, namely, disciplinary character values, hard work character values, creative character values, character values respecting achievement, environmental care character values, and responsibility character values. In vocational camps, there are character values that can be associated with teaching character education in schools in Indonesia Abstrak Pemikiran ini mengandung pemapaparan tentang nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kegiatan kemah vokasional. Tujuan pemikiran ini untuk mendeskripsikan tentang nilai nilai yang terkandung dalam kemah vokasional. Hasil pemikiran ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam kemah vokasional ada 6 yaitu, nilai karakter disiplin, nilai karakter kerja keras, nilai karakter kreatif, nilai karakter menghargai prestasi, nilai karakter peduli lingkungan, dan nilai karakter tanggung jawab. Dalam kemah vokasional terdapat nilai-nilai karakter yang dapat dikaitkan dengan pengajaran pendidikan karakter sekolah di Indonesia.
