INTEGRASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER KE DALAMPEMBELAJARAN KEWARGANEGARAANDI SEKOLAH DASARMachful Indra Kurniawane-mail: [email protected]:This study aims to integrate character education into teaching civics in elementaryschool, specifically aims to (1) identify the values corresponding character integrated intoCivics subjects SD (2) character value integrate into the elementary civics lesson. The designof research studies are exploratif with data sources in the form of documents such as books andexpert opinions about character education, civic education content standards in 2006 about SKand KD Civics SD. The instrument used to collect the data that is documentation. Based on theanalysis results of the study showed that (1) values corresponding characters integrated into theelementary civics subjects, namely: social Caring, intelligent, patriotic, democratic, disciplined,honest, hard work, reward achievement, caring environment, curiosity, national spirit,responsibility, and tolerance, (2) integration of the device into the character value ofelementary civics lesson is done by understanding the substance of SK and KD. Cognitively,the concept of what is in SK and KD. Understand the concept and expected behavior in SK andKD to be key in the development of indicators. Of these indicators will become a reference indeveloping evaluation tools and teaching materials. Of teaching materials will guide inchoosing learning methods.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter ke dalampembelajaran PKn di SD, secara khusus bertujuan untuk (1) mengidentifikasi nilai-nilaikarakter yang sesuai diintegrasikan kedalam mata pelajaran PKn SD (2) mengintegrasikan nilaikarakter ke dalam pembelajaran PKn SD. Rancangan penelitian tergolong penelitian exploratifdengan sumber data berupa dokumen yang berupa buku dan pendapat para ahli tentangpendidikan karakter, Standar isi PKn tahun 2006 tentang SK dan KD PKn SD. Instrumen yangdigunakan untuk mengumpulkan data yaitu dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkanhasil penelitian yaitu (1) Nilai-nilai karakter yang sesuai diintegrasikan ke dalam matapelajaran PKn SD, yaitu: Peduli sosial, cerdas, cinta tanah air, demokratis, disiplin, jujur, kerjakeras, menghargai prestasi, peduli lingkungan, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, tanggungjawab, dan toleransi; (2) Pengintegrasian nilai karakter kedalam perangkat pembelajaran PKnSD dilakukan dengan cara memahami substansi SK dan KD.Kata Kunci: pendidikan karakter, pendidikan kewarganegaraan di sekolah dasar

This paper briefly and through theoretical studies will discuss simply the problems formulated, the impact of globalization on Character education in Indonesia, as well as the paradigm of PKN learning and Character education challenges for the younger generation. It is on the ground by the declining awareness and moral values, as well as to increase the values of the characters seen in the young generations. Civic education in Indonesia has been running throughout the history of Indonesian independence, and has gone through various stages and arms, it certainly demands greater hard work of teachers to be able to increase the values of Pancasila and love of the homeland, and practice the character values which is based on the noble values of Indonesian culture into Indonesian youth.

A serious challenge which is faced by teachers is educating character and bringing norms being practiced by the society into the classrooom, and English teacher is no exception. The challenge makes IndonesianEducation is very dynamic as everything dealing with normsis always thethe concern and developed by scholars, parents as well as the government. Some scholars propose to foster English teachers as models of practicing norms, while some others think to integrate norms into teaching materials. The second thought invites curriousity on how the writer of English textbook supports the recent concern on norms, and the research on it becomes very important to do. Therefore the research dealing with several reading passages in the English Textbook was done. The design was descriptive qualitative which aimed at investigating whether the writer of English textbook integrates norms in reading passages he/ she wrote. The data was norms, while the data sources were reading passages in the 2015-English Textbook developed by The Ministry of Education and Culture. The result describes that norms of trust, discipline, respect to others and self-confidence were found in reading passages. It can be then concluded that the writer of English textbook integratesnorms in the text he/ she writes. The results of the research implies not only the seriousness of scholars, parents and government in fostering character education, but also the support and care of textbook writer in succeeding the education.It is therefore suggested to teachers, scholars as well as book writer to always concern with the society’s need in developing education, especially in sharing the existed and practiced norms.

Abstract: Teaching material is an important learning element, it gets the attention of the teacher so that students can learn the things needed to achieve learning goals. This analysis aims to determine the suitability of class IV thematic textbooks with the Ministry of Education and Culture regulation Number 21 of 2016, the scope of social studies material. The suitability of textbooks with the characteristics of students and the literacy contained therein. The results of the analysis show: 1) Based on the content standards contained in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture Number 21 of 2016, Class IV Thematic textbooks published by the Ministry of Education and Culture have met the predetermined standards. 2) it is in accordance with the development of students both in terms of material presentation, writing and image portions in the textbook. 3) there is no HOTS in the whole learning theme. 4) and there is financial literacy, culture and citizenship and character education. Campus Islamization has been held at Muhammadiyah University Sukabumi since 2014 but its effectiveness has not been measured especially to revitalize student character education. This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The instruments used included observation sheets for student activities in the classroom and campus environment. The results of the research show that the highest character is discipline (93.3%) and the lowest is the national spirit (60%) and the highest character is hard work (84%) and the lowest is fond of reading (61%). So it can be concluded that the results of the study show character that is expected to become complete information about the implementation of Islamization on campus as a form of efforts to revitalize character education especially at the University of Muhammadiyah Sukabumi.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada ungkapan hikmah di sekolah dasar se-karesidenan Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang terdapat pada ungkapan hikmah di sekolah dasar se-karesidenan Surakarta. Adapun sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu ungkapan hikmah yang ditempatkan di sekolah dasar se-karesidenan Surakarta. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada ungkapan hikmah yang ditempatkan di sekolah dasar se-karesidenan Surakarta meliputi religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Ungkapan hikmah yang ada sangat relevan ditempatkan di sekolah dasar. Hal ini bertujuan agar peserta didik memiliki kemampuan akademik dan akhlak karimah.Kata Kunci: ungkapan hikmah, nilai karakter, sekolah dasarCHARACTER EDUCATION VALUE IN THE EXPRESSION OF HIKMAH IN THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN THE RESIDENCY OF SURAKARTA Abstract:This research aims to describe the values of character education in the expression of hikmah (wisdom) in elementary schools in the residency of Surakarta. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data in this research in the form of words, phrases and sentences contained in the expression of hikmah in elementary schools in the residency of Surakarta. The source of the data in this research is the expression of hikmah placed in elementary schools in the residency of Surakarta. Research data collection used documentation techniques. Analysis of research data used content analysis. The results of the research showed the values of character education in the expression of hikmah placed in elementary schools in the residency of Surakarta include religious, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading, caring for the environment, caring socially, and being responsible. The expressions of hikmah are very relevant placed in elementary schools. Novel is a kind of literary works which loads lots of character education values. It is created by extraordinary imaginative elements. This article aims at describing character education values in the novel entitled Ayah written by Andrea Hirata. The analysis applied psychology of literature approach. The result of analysis shows that in total there are fifteen different character education values found out in the novel, namely religiousity, honesty, discipline, hard work, creativity, independence, democracy, curiousity, national spirit, love country, appreciation, friendly/communicative, love peace, social care, responsibility. It is suggested that the result of this research can be an input for considering the importance of character education values as capitals for the students to face the upcoming era, beneficial for the Indonesian language and literature teacher-learning process, and ideas for further research to develop literary education, particularly related to psychological and character education value aspects.

<p><em>Humanity Values consisting of Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Love and Non-violence are values that are relevant to the values of national character. The five values are universal values for the entire life. The values can be integrated in learning, either implicitly contained in teaching materials, as well as integrated in the learning activities. Humanity Values that are integrated in the teaching materials can be either matter or the story of a lesson or group lesson are packed in thematic learning. While the integration of Humanity Values in learning activities can be either a game or other learning activities that are full of Values of Humanity or national character values that are taught in elementary school. This study aimed to integrate Education Values of Humanity Values into civics learning in elementary schools. The study design is explorative research with data sources gained from documents such as books and the opinion of experts on educational values of humanity, character education content standards in 2006 content standard. The instrument used to collect data is documentation. Based on the results of the analysis showed that integration of the value of research into the humanity values on Civics learning in elementary school is done by understanding the substance of Competency Standard and Basic Competency.</em></p>

<p>This study aims to determine the values of character education integrated into the learning Arabic Language Development Center UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta and how to integrate and any problems faced by professors when integrating the value of the character education. This research is a field. Results showed the va-lues of character education has been integrated include: religious, honest, tole-rance, discipline, hard work, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, recognize excellence, communicative, love reading, environmental care, and res-ponsibility. How lecturer integrate include: adjust the lecture material, insert the value of a character. As for the difficulty in integrating include: the difficulty of adjusting the educational value of the existing character of the material.</p><p> </p><p>Abstrak</p><p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang ter-integrasi ke dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Pembangunan Pusat Bahasa UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta dan bagaimana mengintegrasikan dan masalah yang dihadapi oleh para profesor ketika mengintegrasikan nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini merupakan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter telah terintegrasi meliputi: agama, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, mandiri, demokrasi, rasa ingin tahu, semangat kebangsaan, mengakui keunggulan, komunikatif, suka membaca, peduli lingkungan, dan tanggung jawab. Bagaimana dosen mengintegrasikan meliputi: menyesuaikan materi perku-liahan, masukkan nilai karakter. Adapun kesulitan dalam mengintegrasikan meli-puti: kesulitan menyesuaikan nilai pendidikan karakter dengan material yang ada.</p>

ABSTRACT This study aims to (1) describe the values of character education contained, (2) describe the values of character education that often appear in, (3) describe character education values which rarely appears, and (4) describes the values of character education that are not in the short stories of the Singgalang Daily newspaper. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Based on the results of the study, the values of character education studied in the short story of the Singgalang Daily newspaper were found. First, the short stories contained in the Singgalang Daily newspaper contain eighteen values of character education, namely the value of religious character education, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, democratic, independent, curiosity, national spirit, love for the country , appreciates achievement, is friendly/communicative, loves peace, likes to read, cares about the environment, cares for the social, and takes responsibility. Second, the value of character education that often arises is the value of friendly/ communicative character education. Third, character education values that rarely emerge are the spirit of nationalism, love of peace, and love to read. Kata kunci: nilai, pendidikan karakter, cerpen, koran, Harian Singgalang

Research and development is intended to produce products such as reinforcement learning packages in PPKn character education that includes teaching materials, teacher guides, and guides students eligible to use and can improve the quality of learning in an effective, efficient, and attractive. This development model Dick Carey on systemic and procedural. The procedure researched the development of these activities includes nine steps. Product validation test conducted by three experts. The experts of the course content, instructional design experts, and expert instructional media. The field trials in SMK Negeri PP Sembawa with the subjects involved are X class learners majoring second-semester plantation some 33 people and a teacher PPKn subjects. The results showed that the learning package is very feasible to use and very effective. Data were obtained: (1) the results of expert validation of the course content to the percentage of teaching materials (89%), teacher guides (90%), and guide students (90%), (2) the results of expert validation of instructional design for the percentage teaching materials (92%), teacher guides (97%), and guide students (92%), (3) the results of expert validation media the percentage of teaching materials (99%), teacher guides (98%), and guide students (98% ), (4) the results of individual testing for the percentage of teaching materials (89%), guides the students (91%), (5) the small group trial percentage of teaching materials (96%), guides the students (97%), (6 ) the results of field trials the percentage of instructional materials (93%), guide students (95%), and teacher guidance (98%) and from the assessment of 33 students, the results were very effective, namely 100% of students reached the KKM with excellent attitudes and skills.
