<p class="IIABSBARU">Islamic business management becomes an interesting topic continues to increase. There are 3 (three) models of Islamic business management: 1) <em>Sole proprietor­ships</em>, 2) <em>Partnership</em>, and 3) <em>Mudharaba</em> with cooperation between two or more parties in which the owners of capital (shahibul mal) entrust amount of capital to the manager (<em>muḍarib</em>) with an agreement at the earliest. This paper analyze to the Islamic business management model developed by Lembaga Pengembangan Usaha (LPU) of Yayasan Badan Wakaf Sultan Agung (YBWSA) as a holding company that houses several business units. The types of business model is influence the applied business management model, and the type of business management model is influence the results of business operations. By using qualitative descriptive analysis, the study found that the LPU using multiple management models according to the type of business operation, which is a self-ownership (Takessa, Air Quasa, SA Radio), and partnerships (property, retail, Pumanisa), and combination model both self-ownership and partnerships (SApress, asset management and SAtour).</p><p class="IIABSBARU">***</p><p class="ListParagraph">Model pengelolaan bisnis syari’ah menjadi tema menarik seiring dengan per­kembang­annya terus meningkat. Terdapat 3 (tiga) model yang berkembang: 1) <em>Sole proprietorships</em> (kepemilikan tunggal), 2) <em>Partnership</em> (kemitraan), dan 3) <em>Muḍa­rabah</em>, bentuk kerjasama dimana pemilik modal (shahibul mal) mem­percayakan sejumlah modal kepada pengelola (<em>muḍarib</em>) dengan per­janjian di awal. Paper ini menganalisa model pengelolaan bisnis syari’ah yang di­kembang­kan oleh Lembaga Pengembangan Usaha (LPU) pada Yayasan Badan Wakaf Sultan Agung (YBWSA) sebagai lembaga induk yang menaungi banyak unit usaha dengan prinsip syari’ah. Banyaknya unit usaha ini dapat mempengaruhi model pengelolaan bisnis yang diterapkan, dan model pengelolaan tersebut dapat mem­pe­ngaruhi hasil usaha yang dijalankan. Dengan menggunakan metodfe analisis deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa LPU menggunakan be­berapa model bisnis sesuai dengan jenis usaha yang dijalankan, yaitu kepemilikan tunggal (Takessa, Air Quasa, dan SA Radio), dan kemitraan (properti, ritel, dan Pumanisa) serta model kombinasi ke­dua­nya (SApress, manajemen aset dan SAtour).</p>

This research aims to analyze the performance of business management towards the community and towards the benefits for the members, analyze internal and external environments, and develop some development strategies for KPT Maju Sejahtera. This research uses a case study method in KPT Maju Sejahtera, Tanjungsari District, South Lampung Regency. There were 12 respondents involved, consisting of 3 cooperative organizers, a cooperative supervisor, 5 cooperative members, an expert, and 2 regulators. Data analysis methods used are qualitative descriptive analysis, SWOT, and QSPM. Results showed the performance of cooperative business management is included in qualified category. The performance of cooperative towards the community and benefits for the members is included in quite-qualified category. Internally, the main strength was cooperative form partnerships with other legal entities. The main weakness was the low participation of members in using the services of cooperative business units. Externally, the main opportunity was there were no similar competitors in cattle breeding, and the main threat was the low interest of breeders to join as cooperative members. The priority strategies that can be used in developing KPT Maju Sejahtera are: (a) increase the production volume and quality of cooperative products using processing equipment and machines, (b) create processed beef products to increase added value and business unit activities, and (c) intensify communication with members to increase their participation.Key words: agriculture cooperative, development strategy, performance analysis

The objectives of this study were to evaluate the management of Government Fixed Assets inPegunungan Bintang Regency. The analysis technique used in this study was descriptive analysis.The paper described the Analysis of Regional Property Administration Evaluation in thePegunungan Bintang District Government. The data was shown in tables with numbers andpercentages to be analyzed further with descriptive analysis. In analyzing research data the authoruses qualitative descriptive analysis, also known as content analysis.The results of the study showed that the administration of regional fixed assets in terms of recordingthe assets, The Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) in Pegunungan BintangRegency has carried out the bookkeeping. This comprises of process of recording regional fixedassets in lists of its users, the inventory cards, and in the database of regional’s fixed assets. Beforerecording the assets, at first, Asset have been identified into its classification based on the type andcodes of regional fixed assets. Thus, in general, it can be concluded that the implementation ofaccounting in the administration of fixed assets in The Financial and Asset Management Agency ofPegunungan Bintang Regency has been well implemented. Evaluation of administration of regionalfixed assets to the inventory on The Financial and Asset Management Agency in PegununganBintang Regency has been carried out in accordance with mandated regulations. This can be seenfrom the evidence of inventory execution such as the existence of recording documents, theDatabase of Inventory, and documented in Inventories Books. In addition, there are reportingdocuments such as List of Inventory Recapitulation and List of inventory Mutations. Evaluation ofadministration of regional fixed assets in terms of reporting to The Financial and AssetManagement Agency in Pegunungan Bintang Regency is carried out in stages based on informationcontained in the list of assets keepers and a list of the authority of its users and keepers. Authoritiesof fixed assets users have to submit assets User Reports every semester, yearly, and 5 years toassets keepers.

The research purpose is to evaluate the business model on the traditional restaurant in Tanjung Pura, North Sumatera, Indonesia. Business Model Canvas (BMC) consists of customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationship, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnership, and cost structure. The research method was used qualitative descriptive analysis. The data collected using in-depth interviews. Analysis TOWS is to evaluate the business model on a traditional restaurant. The authors recommend increasing the intensity to visit the restaurant with the privilege of membership. The next recommendation is to collaborate with the new business partners such as banking, e-traveler, e-destination, and e-restaurant. The traditional restaurant enables to obtain the other revenues of the subscription fee and advertising space. Also, the authors recommend registering the food recipes as the intellectual property.

This study aims to determine the application of financial records on small and medium business units (SMEs) because the SME sector is currently the sector that became the government's flagship. The analytical technique used qualitative descriptive analysis, using intepretive paradigm. Data collected through observation and in-depth interviews to informants to see the practice of applying financial records has been presented properly and correctly and refers to the theory of accounting systems associated with general-purpose financial records. There are two forms of accounting practice in SME Sanan - Malang, which is accounting only practiced in the mind / memory and made some accounting records to the preparation of financial statements balance and L / R. The benefits of these two forms of accounting are limited to the control of some business activities. In this case, SMEs still do not have the ability to present complete and appropriate financial information.

Purpose: The Paper is to to find out changing management model of State Islamic University (UIN) business units in Indonesia after the change of Institutional status from State Islamic Institute (IAIN) to State Islamic University (UIN) in accordance with PMA No.19 Year 2017.Design/Method/Approach:  This study uses a descriptive analysis. It The research employed a mixed method between qualitative research methods and quantitative methods. Quantitative method was used because this research also distributed questionnaires related to environmental responses to the existence of business development units while the qualitative method was used to describe the condition of the Business Development Unit in each university using Research and Development model.Findings: The results of this paper are designed management from whole of problems found in each UIN after the status converted.Originality/Values: The main contribution of this study concern on management model of UIN business in Indonesia after the change of Institutional status from state Islamic Institute to state Islamic university in accordance with PMA no 19 2017.

Singapore Changi International Airport received the World's Best Airport from Skytrax. This was the 8th consecutive year that Changi won this renowned award. This paper aims to investigate Changi’s overall business operations to track its accomplishments in airport development. Examining the lessons learned by using a descriptive analysis under the Business Model Canvas (BMC) framework, the results reveal that Singapore Changi International Airport is a destination in itself. This concept affects customers' segmentation, which links to different value propositions deriving from using key resources and synergy among strategic partnerships. This paper also suggests that sustainability should be added to the BMC framework since it is another component behind the airport’s success. The practical contributions deriving from the lessons learned are presented.

The purpose of this study is to describe sharia-based business management during the corona 19 pandemic. The data collection methods used were interviews and literature. The data analysis method is in the form of qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, the authors found that sharia-based business management during the 19 pandemic experienced a change in habits. From doing business that was not customary to use telecommunications technology and media before Covid 19, so they had to use it. In the sense of analyzing new business habits during the Covid 19 pandemic, it shows trends in the use of technology and telecommunications media, such as online business.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a significant impact in all aspects of human life, such as in the health, education, social, economic and banking sectors. To restore the economic and banking sectors, the government through The Financial Services Authority issued Peraturan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Republik Indonesia Nomor 11 /POJK.03/2020 Tentang Stimulus Perekonomian Nasional Sebagai Kebijakan Countercyclical Dampak Penyebaran Coronavirus Disease 2019. One of the things described in POJK Number 11 /POJK.03/2020 is the implementation of credit or financing restructuring for debtors who were affected during the Covid-19 pandemic. The implementation of this credit / financing restructuring has raised concerns about bank liquidity. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method by describing the phenomena that occur due to the impact of Covid-19 on the global and national economy, Indonesian government policies, and banking. The results showed that during the period March-September 2020 the average Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) in Islamic Commercial Banks showed a value of 79.31% where the highest ratio occurred in July with a ratio level of 81.03% and the lowest ratio occurred in September with a ratio of 77.06%. Under these conditions, in general the level of liquidity of Islamic commercial banks is categorized as healthy or liquid. The average FDR ratio in Sharia Business Units for the period March-September 2020 shows a value of 103.54% where the highest ratio occurred in May with an FDR ratio of 107.20% and the lowest ratio occurred in September with an FDR ratio of 95.87%. Under these conditions, in general the liquidity level of the Sharia Business Unit is categorized as less healthy or less liquid.Pandemi Covid-19 telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan dalam segala segi kehidupan manusia seperti dalam bidang kesehatan, pendidikan, sosial, ekonomi maupun sektor perbankan. Untuk memulihkan sektor ekonomi dan perbankan, pemerintah melalui Otoritas Jasa Keuangan mengeluarkan Peraturan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Republik Indonesia Nomor 11 /POJK.03/2020 Tentang Stimulus Perekonomian Nasional Sebagai Kebijakan Countercyclical Dampak Penyebaran Coronavirus Disease 2019. Salah satu hal yang dijelaskan dalam POJK Nomor 11 /POJK.03/2020 adalah pemberlakuan restrukturisasi kredit atau pembiayaan bagi debitur yang terdampak selama pandemi Covid-19. Pemberlakuan restrukturisasi kredit/pembiayaan ini memunculkan kekhawatiran terhadap likuiditas bank. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dampak implementasi restrukturisasi pembiayaan terhadap likuiditas bank syariah pada situasi pandemic covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan  metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan cara mendeskripsikan fenomena-fenomena yang terjadi akibat dampak Covid-19 terhadap perekonomian global maupun nasional, kebijakan pemerintah Indonesia, serta perbankan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama periode Maret-September 2020 rata-rata rasio Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR)  pada Bank Umum Syariah menunjukkan nilai 79,31% dimana rasio tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Juli dengan tingkat rasio 81,03% dan rasio terendah terjadi pada bulan September dengan tingkat rasio 77,06%. Dengan kondisi tersebut, maka secara umum tingkat likuiditas bank umum syariah dikategorikan sehat atau likuid. Rata-rata rasio FDR pada Unit Usaha Syariah periode Maret-Septemer 2020 menunjukkan nilai 103,54% dimana rasio tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Mei dengan tingkat rasio FDR 107.20% dan rasio terendah terjadi pada bulan September dengan tingkat rasio FDR 95.87%. The Covid-19 pandemic has impacted various business sectors including the tourism sector. Hotel industry in Denpasar City has closed its business operations, laid off its employees and terminated their employees. This study was conducted to map the distribution of employees layoff at star hotels in Denpasar City and formulate strategies for star hotels to reduce employee layoff rate due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Eight (8) star hotels in Denpasar City were used as samples based on the data released by Bali Province Manpower and Energy Office in 2020. Questionnaires were distributed to collect data from October to December 2020. This study employed a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods in the forms of qualitative descriptive analysis approach, SWOT analysis and QSPM. The results showed that the largest number of layoffs occurred in the 3-star hotel cluster with an average layoff of 32 percent. Market penetration through optimization of information technology-based promotion tools (IT) is proposed as the main strategy to overcome the problem. The results of this study are expected to provide overviews and recommendations for hotel management in applying this strategy more effectively through professional communication and resource management in order to avoid employee layoffs.

This research aims to analyze the internal and external environment, formulate development strategies, and determine the priority strategies of KUD Mina Teluk Semangka. This research uses a case study method. Respondents involved 13 people consisting of administrators and members of cooperatives, experts and regulators. Data analysis methods used are qualitative descriptive analysis, SWOT analysis, and QSPM. The results indicated that internally, cooperatives have the main strength on its business units that are complement each other and suitable to the needs of members, while the main weakness is on the absence of processing.to add value of the products Externally, cooperatives face great opportunities on high level of demand on fish and face the main threat on lack of public awareness in working together. The priority strategies that can be used in developing cooperatives are as the following: utilizing and enhancing the ability of members to diversify their products using fishery product processing technology, collaborating with the government and other parties in creating tourism-based business unit, utilizing trained human resources to overcome limitations in keeping up with technological developments, and increasing awareness of the community in cooperation and members in paying mandatory savings.Key words: cooperative, fisheries, SWOT analysis, QSPM
