The piano, like any other subject, develops musicality and promotes reflection on the music piece. For some, the musical art of pianism acts as the only way to stimulate the harmonious imagination through which it is possible to learn to listen to chords. The piano is a unique source of inspiration for further musical development. The aim of the study is to reveal and examine the role of the Chinese piano school in the formation of Chinese art of pianism.

Parents use music in family life to accomplish practical tasks, make relational connections, and guide their children’s musical development. Parenting Musically portrays the musicking of eight diverse Cleveland-area families in home, school, and community settings. Family musical interactions are analyzed using the concepts of musical parenting (actions to support a child’s musical development) and parenting musically (using music to accomplish extramusical parenting goals), arguing the importance of recognizing and valuing both modes. An additional construct, practical~relational musicking, lends nuance to the analysis of family musical engagement. Practical musicking refers to musicking for a practical purpose, such as learning a scale or passing the time in a car; relational musicking is musicking that deepens relationships with self, siblings, parents, or community members, such as a grandmother singing to her grandchildren via FaceTime as a way to feel connected. Families who embraced both practical and relational musicking expressed satisfaction in long-term musical involvement. Weaving together themes of conscious and intuitive parenting, the rewards and struggles of musical practice, the role of mutuality in community musicking, and parents’ responses to media messages surrounding music and parenting, the discussion incorporates research in music education, psychology, family studies, and sociology. This book serves to highlight the multifaceted nature of families’ engagement in music; the author urges music education practitioners and administrators to consider this diversity of engagement when approaching curricular decisions.

Homework is a good means of reactivation; it helps students to practice language items and consolidates learnt knowledge and skills at their home. It is an indispensible tool for students to step forward in the subject. But if we glance at homework dealing situation at school level education in Nepal, the role of homework is hardly talked about in the majority of the schools, especially at government aided school. Similarly, if we look at researches and papers that are talked about on homework dealing situation at school level education, we will rarely find. For this reason, I have strived to explore homework dealing situation of English langauge teaching at grade eight in Dadeldhura District through survey questions to the students and the teachers, such as when do students feel difficult to do homework, why do they do homework, how much time do they spend to do homework, who does help them to do homework at home, how do they like their homework to be corrected, how do the teachers correct homework, and the like. It also suggests some strategies for increasing homework completion rates and making homework meaningful for the students. The concept of "educational map", as well as a number of related concepts such as "concept map", have been the subject of numerous studies in the field of pedagogy over the years. They are a tool for describing and analyzing the knowledge of a specific student at a specific point in time. Recently, there has been interest in the problem of generalization and aggregation of information contained in separate individual maps. The concept of "Concept Landscape" was proposed as an approach to solving this problem (Mühling, 2017). However, this concept is focused exclusively on the analysis of the knowledge structure of a group of students. Accordingly, the problem arises of finding a more general and more universal tool that allows us to organically fit aggregated educational maps into the structure of the digital educational environment. We propose to consider this environment as a context that unites all possible educational maps. In accordance with the proposed approach, by the educational landscape we mean the result of the aggregation of several educational maps, united by the digital educational environment as a common context. We also set ourselves the task of identifying technologies for the aggregation of educational maps. We consider superposition, inclusion and absorption as such technologies and disclose the content of these operations in our article. We also establish the main form of the formal description of the educational landscape - a graph with colored vertices and edges. We propose a five-component algorithm for constructing and processing an educational landscape and describe the content of all its stages in the article. In our study, we also give an answer to the question about the role of the educational landscape within the digital educational environment. This role is, in our opinion, multifactorial. The main factors include: the formation of a space of possible individual learning trajectories; analysis and forecasting of the group dynamics of knowledge and skills of students; creation of a tool for supporting the design of an digital educational environment.

Rapid technological and information developments have impacted changes in various lines of life. The big impact that arises from the changes that occur is the decline in the values of the nation's character. The problem solving effort is by providing guidance in improving the ability of educators in shaping the values of the national character of elementary school students. The targets in this activity are the Teacher Working Group (KKG) in SD PBI and KKG in SDN 208 Luginasari. The method used in the form of organizing seminars and workshops on the role of teachers in building national character values to elementary school students. The activity was carried out quite well. Teachers are given debriefing and skills to carry out learning activities that contain character education through traditional game intermediaries. Suggestions for the achievement of the objectives of this activity is that assistance is still needed for the teacher so that the teachers can consistently transform their knowledge and skills in the path that we all expect.

The article addresses one of the most important factors of teachers’ professional motivation, communication and collaboration, in the context of the education process understood as a system of interaction of all members of the education process. The main idea of the empirical research introduced in this article is to reveal and generalise aspects of communication and collaboration in Lithuanian non-formal music education (in music schools), while thoroughly analysing the aspect of relationships between an educator and students, an educator and parents, an educator and an educator, an educator and a school principal. The research shows that the relation between teacher and student in the process of music education is clearly characteristic of manifestations of authoritarianism in education. When evaluating manifestation of the relationship between a teacher and parents, a teachers’ positive attitudes towards mutual collaboration have been found out; nevertheless, interrelations among teachers in school are based on competitiveness. The relationship between a school principal and teachers is ambiguously evaluated by teachers themselves: in some cases, it is characterised as positive, whereas in other cases it is perceived as negative; nevertheless, in all cases it is considered as making an impact on the entire education process.
