The skills to construct and interpret graphs are a form of science skills and are an important component in learning physics. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of undergraduate physics education students to construct graphs based on practicum data and interpret them. Data obtained through respondent answer sheets, thinking-aloud recordings, and interviews. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Untad and the research subjects of the Physics Education Study Program students were 6 people obtained based on the values of Basic Physics I and Basic Physics practicum II then divided into three groups of levels (high, medium, and low) with each category as many as 2 people. The results of this study indicate: 1) in general, respondents in the high, medium, and low categories can construct graphs but are not based on the prerequisite ability to construct graphs, especially in determining the x-axis and y-axis variables, 2) on the ability to interpret graphs, respondents can interpret graphs the relationship between variables on the graph but not supported by an explanation or evaluation based on proper physics concepts, 3) The strategy used by respondents in constructing graphs, in general, is to convert data in decimal form or scientific notation and 4) The difficulties experienced by respondents when constructing graphs are converting data, determining the scale and how to determine the variables on each graph axis.

The purpose of the research is to reveal what is to be achieved with the final results 1) Completion of the problems that have arisen to produce new wisdom, 2) Prevent all predicted problems will arise, 3) as a comparison of existing theories. Specifically, the purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a direct influence between training methods and the efficacy of increasing 800 meters running distance at Pattimura University Students Teacher Training and Education Faculty 2015/2016 Physical Education and Recreation Physical Education Study Program. This research was conducted at Patimura University, Faculty of Health and Education, Penjaskesrek Study Program involving 60/17 students in the 2016/17 semester as research subjects. The method used in this study is an experimental method based on SuarsiminArikunto's reference. Experimental research, according to Ali Maksum, is a rigorous study to find out the causal relationship between variables. One of the main characteristics in experimental research is the existence of treatments (treatments) that are worn on the subject or object of the researcher. Research design or research design is a plan and structure of inquiry arranged so that researchers will be able to obtain answers to their research questions. The results showed that to increase the results of 800 meters running in Unipatti Ambon FKIP Penjaskesrek students can be improved through interval training methods, continuous training methods, and fartlek training methods by controlling endurance first.

<p>This study aims to produce design, to know the profile and to determine the level of effectiveness of the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) based on Computer-Based Test (CBT) to Test of English For Academic Proficiency (TEAP) IKIP PGRI Pontianak. The development research method is the ADDIE development design model. The research subjects were students of the eighth semester English study program and the lecturers and staff who served at UPT Bahasa of IKIP PGRI Pontianak. Data collection tools used interviews and TEAP user questionnaires then analyzed with the formula from Khabibah. PHP-based CBT profile in the form of a web that can be accessed online and integrated with multiple-choice item analysis. This study found that TEAP requires a system that can automatically be correcting, storing test results, analysing test results and distributing test certificates. The results showed that the effectiveness level of the respondents' opinion of the test participants with a percentage score of 77% in good category and from the opinion of respondents who implement TEAP is very effective and can analyze the level of difficulty, difference power and distractor analysis properly and quickly. This illustrates that PHP-based CBT is suitable for the TEAP program.</p>

Empirical studies suggest that practical intelligence acquired in engineering laboratories is valuable in engineering practice and could also be a useful learning outcome that is a result from a laboratory experience. To prove this, the author started a project to understand further about the practical learning outcomes from traditional laboratory classes. When tools used by psychologists were applied to measure practical intelligence in an electronics laboratory class, not only could a significant gain in hands-on practical intelligence be measured, but students’ ability to diagnose equipment faults could also be predicted. For the first time, therefore, the author can demonstrate that there are real advantages inherent in hands-on laboratory classes, and supported by Outcome Based Education (OBE) method, it is possible to measure this advantage. It is possible that measurements of practical intelligence may reveal new and more powerful ways for students to acquire practical knowledge. The results firstly demonstrate the ability to devise effective ways to assess the outcomes of practical intelligence acquired by engineering students from their laboratory experiences. The results from the study show that the score on practical intelligence outcomes is proportional with the outcomes of the ability in diagnosing equipment faults. Therefore, the novel results suggest that practical intelligence scores predict the ability to diagnose experiment faults for similar laboratory equipment.
