scholarly journals Effect of Exercise and Resistance Methods on Increasing 800 Meter Range Results

The purpose of the research is to reveal what is to be achieved with the final results 1) Completion of the problems that have arisen to produce new wisdom, 2) Prevent all predicted problems will arise, 3) as a comparison of existing theories. Specifically, the purpose of this study was to determine whether there was a direct influence between training methods and the efficacy of increasing 800 meters running distance at Pattimura University Students Teacher Training and Education Faculty 2015/2016 Physical Education and Recreation Physical Education Study Program. This research was conducted at Patimura University, Faculty of Health and Education, Penjaskesrek Study Program involving 60/17 students in the 2016/17 semester as research subjects. The method used in this study is an experimental method based on SuarsiminArikunto's reference. Experimental research, according to Ali Maksum, is a rigorous study to find out the causal relationship between variables. One of the main characteristics in experimental research is the existence of treatments (treatments) that are worn on the subject or object of the researcher. Research design or research design is a plan and structure of inquiry arranged so that researchers will be able to obtain answers to their research questions. The results showed that to increase the results of 800 meters running in Unipatti Ambon FKIP Penjaskesrek students can be improved through interval training methods, continuous training methods, and fartlek training methods by controlling endurance first.

The skills to construct and interpret graphs are a form of science skills and are an important component in learning physics. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of undergraduate physics education students to construct graphs based on practicum data and interpret them. Data obtained through respondent answer sheets, thinking-aloud recordings, and interviews. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Untad and the research subjects of the Physics Education Study Program students were 6 people obtained based on the values of Basic Physics I and Basic Physics practicum II then divided into three groups of levels (high, medium, and low) with each category as many as 2 people. The results of this study indicate: 1) in general, respondents in the high, medium, and low categories can construct graphs but are not based on the prerequisite ability to construct graphs, especially in determining the x-axis and y-axis variables, 2) on the ability to interpret graphs, respondents can interpret graphs the relationship between variables on the graph but not supported by an explanation or evaluation based on proper physics concepts, 3) The strategy used by respondents in constructing graphs, in general, is to convert data in decimal form or scientific notation and 4) The difficulties experienced by respondents when constructing graphs are converting data, determining the scale and how to determine the variables on each graph axis.

The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) To test whether there is influence of the application of fartlek and interval training methods to endurance in extracurricular students futsal SHS 3 Sukoharjo 2016/2017, (2) More effective and efficient between fartlek and interval training on Endurance in extracurricular students of SHS 3 Sukoharjo year 2016/2017. The type of research used is quantitative experimental research. Subjects used in this study are extracurricular students futsal SHS 3 Sukoharjo 2016/2017. The number of learners is 30 students. The entire subject is used as the research sample. The data collected in this research is Endurance data about VO2 Max capacity. The tests and measurements used to collect data are by performing the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT) test. The data analysis technique used in this research is the difference test (t-test) by passing the first requirement test such as normality test and homogeneity test. The result of the study was: (1) There was a significant comparison of the effects of fartlex training method and interval training on energency participants in futsal extracurricular leaners of SHS 3 SUKOHARJO year 2016/2017, (t count = 2,6651 > 1,7613); (2) Interval training methods better than fartlek training method for energency participants in futsal extracurricular leaners of SHS 3 SUKOHARJO year 2016/2017. Based on the precentage increase of physical endurance showed that group 2 (who received treatment with interval training method was 5,64% > group 1 (who received treatment fartlek training method) was 2,62%. The conclude of the result as: (1) There was a comparison of the effects of fartlex training method and interval training on energency participants in futsal extracurricular leaners of SHS 3 SUKOHARJO year 2016/2017; (2) Interval training method better than fartlek training method on the physical endurance of extracurricular learners SHS 3 SUKOHARJO year 2016/2017.

<p><strong>The aim</strong> of this study was to determine and test whether or not there were differences in the effect of the drill method, small sided games, and the combination of the two methods on soccer playing skills of young athletes.</p><p><strong>Material and methods.</strong> This research method used in the form of experimental research with a quantitative approach method in which researchers will work with numbers as a manifestation of the observed symptoms. In this study, researchers used treatment with the application of drill methods, small sided games and a combination of two methods. So this experimental research design uses a 3 x 2 factorial design. Factorial experiments are experiments that almost or all levels of a factor are combined or crossed with all the levels of each of the other factors that are in the experiment. The research design used in this study is "Two Groups Pretest-Posttest Design". The population in this study were students of PSB Bonansa UNS Surakarta, amounting to 95 people. Sampling uses a purposive sampling technique that is included in the probability sampling. Data collection techniques in this study by making research designs, conducting research, making research reports Data analysis techniques used in this study using SPSS 24, namely two-way Variant Analysis (ANAVA) at a significance level = 0.05.</p><p><strong>Results</strong>. The results of this study are that there are differences in the effect of the drill method, small sided games, and the combination of the two methods on soccer playing skills in the beginner athlete PSB Bonansa UNS Surakarta. Research subjects who did exercises before and after using drill methods, small sided games, and combinations had improved soccer playing skills.</p><p><strong>Conclusions.</strong> In the 9-10 years age group, drill increased by 0.39, small sided games increased by 0.13, and for combination there was an increase of 0.58. In the 11-12 year age group there was an increase of 0.43 (drill), 0.65 (small sided games) and 0.94 in the combination method.</p>

The research aimed to describe the effectiveness of the use of caricature media in learning writing of an argumentation paragraphin the tenth class of SMA Negeri 1 Bontoramba Jeneponto. The research design was an experimental research by using quasi-experimental research design. The research subjects were the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Bontoramba Jeneponto in 2015/2016 academic years which consisted of 131 students. They were divided into four classes. The data were analyzed by descriptive and t-test inferential statistics. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the learning writing of an argumentation paragraph by using the environment media and the writing ability of argumentation paragraph by using the caricature media, which was effective tobe used as a learning medium to write an argumentation paragraph at the tenth class of SMA Negeri 1 Bontoramba Jeneponto. Therefore, it can be concluded that the caricature media were effectively used in learning writing of argumentation paragraph.

This research aimed at verifying the effectiveness of using ELSA Speak Application in enhancing students’ pronunciation skills. It applied a quantitative method. Specifically, it used a pre-experimental research design. The population was the English study program students of STKIP Muhammadiyah Enrekang. The sample was the first semester students in the academic year 2018/ 2019. It was chosen through purposive sampling technique by considering that the sample took the pronunciation course at that time. The data were collected through pre-test and post-test which was conducted using the recording. The data attained were analyzed statistically. The result shows that the pre-test means the score is 1.96 while the post-test mean score is 5.79 by applying 0.05 level of significance with 29 degrees of freedom (29), the t-test 6.28 was higher than the t-table 1.699. It indicated that the use of ELSA Speak application is effective in enhancing the pronunciation skill of the first semester students of STKIP Muhammadiyah Enrekang.

Writing is a process for expressing ideas. Facts in the field show that most students still think that writing is a difficult and insignificant thing. Another fact shows that the writing culture has shifted to a copy-paste culture. Therefore, a certain strategy is needed to stimulate students to overcome various difficulties in writing scientific papers. This study aims to improve students' scientific writing skills by applying SETS (Science, Environment, Technology, Society) based learning. The research method used was Classroom Action Research with the Kemmis and Mctaggart model. The research subjects were 14 students of the Geography Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Lambung Mangkurat University. The data analysis used was the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the average score of students' scientific writing skills in pre-action was 59.14% (sufficient category), 70.42% in Cycle I (good category), and 76.71% in Cycle II (good category). Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of SETS-based learning can improve scientific writing skills for students of the Geography Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Lambung Mangkurat.

The purpose of this research was determine the effect of free variables that the method of exercise and the moderator variable reaction time of the dependent variable of 100 meters. The research was done by using experimental method. Target population (research population) are male student of physical education, health and recreation islamic university of riau 2016/2017 123 people. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique. The hypothesis is 1) difference between group of interval training method (A1) with group of continuous training method (A2) equal to 0,0245 < 0,05, mean h0 rejected. 2) The difference between group of interval training method (A1) and group of mixed exercise method (A3), value = 0,0015 < 0,05, means h0 rejected. 3) The difference between the continuous training method group (A2) and the mixed exercise method group (A3), worth = 0.1345 > 0.05, means h0 received. 4) The interaction effect of fo (AB) worth = 0,000 < 0.05 means h0 is rejected. 5) Differences in 100 meters of skill results between interval training methods with high reaction time and continuous training method with high reaction time (A1B1 - A2B1) valued at 0.000 < 0.05 means h0 is rejected. 6) Differences in 100 meters of skill result between interval training method with high reaction time and mixed reaction method with high reaction time (A1B1 - A3B1). Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemandirian belajar mahasiswa Penjas menggunakan media google classroom melalui hybrid learning pada pembelajaran profesi pendidikan di masa pandemi COVID-19. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Jasmani Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu Semester II Tahun Akademik 2019/2020. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan random sampling dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 80 orang merupakan mahasiswa A1 dan A2 Program Studi Pendidikan Jasmani Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan triangulasi menggunakan angket, wawancara dan pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat kemandirian belajar mahasiswa menggunakan media Google Classroom melalui Hybrid Learning pada pembelajaran profesi pendidikan di masa pandemi Covid-19 ini adalah sangat kuat berada pada nilai rata-rata indikator: percaya diri (81,82), disiplin (83,5), inisiatif (81,44), Tanggung Jawab (85,94), Motivasi (85,25), sehingga rata-rata indikator kemandirian belajar adalah 83,59. Dari hasil tersebut dapat diinterpretasikan berdasarkan rentang skala kriteria interpretasi skor tingkat capaian responden, maka interpretasi kemandirian belajar mahasiswa Penjas menggunakan Media Google Classroom Melalui Hybrid Learning pada Pembelajaran Profesi Pendidikan di masa pandemi Covid 19 adalah sangat kuat. Kata Kunci: kemandirian belajar, google classroom, blended learning, percaya diri, disiplin, inisiatif, tanggung jawab, motivasi. Abstract: This study aims to determine independent learning of Physical Education students use Google Classroom media through hybrid learning in the Educational Profession learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The population in this study were students of Physical Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, The University of Dehasen Bengkulu, Semester II of the Academic Year 2019/2020. Sampling techniques using random sampling with a research sample of 80 students of A1 and A2 classes of the Physical Education Study Program of the Teaching Training and Education Faculty of Dehasen Bengkulu University. Data collection techniques using triangulation: questionnaires, interviews and observations. The results showed that the average level of student learning independence using google classroom media through hybrid learning in of the educational profession learning during the COVID-19 pandemic was very strong at the average value of indicators: self-confidence (81.82), discipline ( 83.5), initiative (81.44), responsibility (85.94), motivation (85.25), then the average indicator of independent learning is 83.59. From these results it can be interpreted based on the scale range of the criteria for interpretation of the score of the respondent's level of achievement, then the interpretation of learning independence of Physical Education students using Google Classroom Media through Hybrid Learning in Educational Professional Learning during the Covid 19 pandemic is very strong.Keywords: independent learning, google classroom, hybrid learning, confidence, discipline, initiative, responsibility, motivation.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan Whatsapp dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian studi lapangan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Hukum Ekonomi Syariah Fakultas Syariah IAIN Metro. Untuk mengetahui antusiasme siswa dalam menggunakan aplikasi Whatsapp dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, maka dibuatlah Grup Whatsapp. Berdasarkan penelitian, aplikasi Whatsapp dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran online di masa pandemi. Meski tidak ada tatap muka, penggunaan Whatsapp mampu membuat pembelajaran terasa seperti tatap muka di kelas.Kata kunci: WhatsApp, Pembelajaran, Pandemi, Studi Kasus  AbstractThis study aims to examine the use of WhatsApp in learning activities during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research design used field study research. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were students of the Sharia Economics Law Study Program, Faculty of Sharia, IAIN Metro. In order to find out the enthusiasm of students in using the WhatsApp application in learning activities, a WhatsApp Group was created. Based on research, the Whatsapp application can be used as an online learning media during the pandemic.
