Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis saintifik untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan prestasi belajar siswa  kelas X di SMA semester 2. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Penelitian ini mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 3D (Define, Design, Develop) yang dikembangkan oleh Borg dan Gall.  Subyek penelitian ini adalah 136 siswa  kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengkonversi total skor aktual yang diperoleh menjadi data kualitatif skala lima. Penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika materi persaman kuadrat, fungsi kuadrat dan peluang yang, meliputi  RPP, LKS, TPB dan TKPM. Dari hasil validasi ahli, skor penilaian guru, penilaian siswa, observasi pembelajaran dan tes evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa RPP, LKS, TPB dan TKPM adalah  valid, praktis, dan efektif. Secara keseluruhan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah layak untuk digunakan.Kata kunci: pengembangan, perangkat pembelajaran saintifik, prestasi,  pemecahan masalah Development of Scientific-Based Mathematics Learning Resources for Enhancing Problem Solving Ability and Student Learning Achievement AbstractThis research’s aim is to produce scientific-based mathematic learning kit to enhancing problem solving ability and student leaing achievement in 2ndsemester of 10th grade highschool student. This research’s type is research and development. This research evolving learning resources with 3D development model: Define, Design, and Develop that developed by Borg and Gall. This research’s subject were 136 students grade 10th in SMAN 2 Yogyakarta. Data analysis using conversion of all actual score that reputed as five scale qualitative data. This research produce learning resources of quadratic agreement, quadratic function, and possibility that include teaching plan (RPP), student’s worksheets (LKS), student’s achievement test (TPB), and problem solving ability test (TKPM) that valid, practical, and effective. Overall, this research’s result showing that learning resources are suitable for using in class.Keywords: development, scientific learning kit, achievement, problem solving.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS biologi berbasis masalah yang layak untuk topik perubahan lingkungan/iklim dan daur ulang limbah serta mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan LKS biologi berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan menurut model Borg & Gall. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket validasi LKS, angket karakter peduli lingkungan, soal kemampuan pemecahan masalah, lembar observasi penilaian produk daur ulang limbah dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa LKS biologi berbasis masalah layak untuk topik perubahan lingkungan/iklim dan daur ulang limbah dilihat dari hasil penilaian pada aspek kelayakan isi, kebahasaan, penyajian dan kegrafikan termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, LKS biologi berbasis masalah efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan karakter peduli lingkungan siswa.Kata Kunci: LKS biologi berbasis masalah, kemampuan pemecahan masalah, karakter peduli lingkungan Developing Problem-Based Biology Worksheet to Improve Problems Solving Skills and Environment Care Character AbstractThe purposes of this research are to produce a proper problem-based biology worksheet for the topic of environment/climate changing and waste recycling and to know the effectiveness of using the problem-based biology worksheet on the students’ problem solving skill and environment care character. This research is research and development model according to Brog and Gall The data were collected through questionnaire of worksheet and environment care character validity, the test of problem solving skills, observation sheet of assessment in waste recycling product and observation sheet of learning process. The results of the research showed that problem-based biology worksheet was appropriate for the topic of environment/climate changing and waste recycling, in terms of the contain, the language, the presentation, and the graphic of the worksheet were included in were good category, problem-based biology worksheet was effective to increase the student problem solving skill and caring environment care character.Keywords: problem-based biology worksheet, problem solving skill, environment care character

Learner Worksheet (LKPD) of reaction rates based structured inquiry in class XI SMA had been dertemine validity and practicality. The type of research used is Research and Development (RD). The development model was a 4-D model consisting of 4 stages, namely (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Desseminate. The disseminate stage was not carried out due to time and cost constraints. The research instrument used was a questionnaire validation and practicality questionnaire. The validation questionnaire was filled by 3 chemistry lecturers from FMIPA UNP and 2 chemistry teachers from SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung. Practicality questionnaire was filled by 2 chemistry teachers and 30 students of class XII MIPA 3 SMAN 2 Lubuk Basung. Data were analyzed using kappa moments. The average kappa moment of validity test was 0.87 with a very high validity category. The average kappa moment of teacher were 0,88 with a very high practicality category. The average kappa moment of student were 0,87 with a very high practicality category. Thus, it was concluded that reaction rates LKPD based on structured inquiry was valid and practice.

Mathematical reasoning is the ability to think about mathematical problems, namely by thinking logically about mathematical problems to get conclusions about problem solutions. There are several factors that can affect students' mathematical reasoning, including mathematical abilities. Dissimilarity of students' mathematical abilities allows for dissimilarity in their mathematical reasoning abilities. So, this research intends to describe students' mathematical reasoning abilities in solving social arithmetic problems based on dissimilarity in mathematical abilities. The purpose of this research was to describe qualitative data about the mathematical reasoning abilities of students with high, medium, or low abilities in solving social arithmetic problems. The instrument used was the Mathematical Ability Test to determine the three research subjects, followed by a Problem Solving Test to get qualitative data about students' mathematical reasoning abilities, then interviews to get deeper data that was not obtained through written tests. Thus, the research data were analyzed using mathematical reasoning indicators. From the result of data analysis, it was found that all students understood the problem well. Students with high and medium mathematical abilities are determining and implementing problem solving strategies properly, namely writing down the step for solving them correctly and making accurate conclusions by giving logical argumens at aech step of the solution. However, students with low mathematical abillities have difficulty in determining and implementing problem solving strategies because they do not understand the concept, thus writing the steps to solve the problems incorrectly and not giving accurate conclusions about the correctness of the solution. The mathematics learning outcomes of accounting study program students in Bandung are still low. For this reason, efforts are needed to improve the mathematics learning outcomes of accounting study students in Bandung. One of the efforts that was taken was by increasing the ability of students' mathematical connections. In order for students' mathematical connection capabilities to increase, an alternative learning is needed namely learning using a problem-solving approach. The population in this study were students of study program in Bandung, while the sample in this study was the first semester students at Widyatama University who were randomly selected according to class. The instrument used in this study is a mathematical connection ability test in the form of a description, and a Likert scale of student attitudes. From the results of the test of the mathematical connection ability test, it was found that the test had high reliability. The validity of the item is high, the distinguishing power is quite good, and the difficulty level is moderate. Based on the results of the analysis of research data, it is known that students who obtain learning with a problem-solving approach have better connection capabilities when compared to students who obtain conventional learning. In general, student responses are positive.

Problem solving must be developed and internalized in mathematics<br />learning, so students have problem solving skills that students can<br />transfer to their daily lives when facing problems or difficulties.<br />There is a mental attitude that affects a person's success to become a<br />successful problem solver, namely adversity quotient. This mental<br />attitude affects the mindset and emotions so it is not easy to give up<br />in solving problems. This study aims to measure the relationship<br />between adversity quotient and problem solving abilities of junior<br />high school students in mathematics learning. This research is a<br />correlation study. The population was students of SMPN 1 Padang<br />Panjang 2014/2015 academic year, while 32 samples were selected<br />by purposive sampling. The data was collected using an adversity<br />quotient scale and a mathematical problem solving ability test. Data<br />were analyzed by regression correlation techniques. The results of<br />data analysis showed a correlation coefficient between adversity<br />quotient variables with mathematical problem solving abilities of r =<br />0.756&gt; rtable (0.297), meaning that there was a significant positive<br />relationship between adversity quotient and mathematical problem<br />solving abilities. The coefficient of determination obtained is r2 =<br />0.572 indicating that adversity quotient has an effect of 57.2% on<br />mathematical problem solving abilities of junior high school<br />students, while 42.8% is influenced by other factors

Dengan demikian, peserta didik di bidang informatika harus mengerti dan belajar matematika agar bisa memahami bidang informatika yang menjadi bidang utamanya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran matematika di bidang informatika. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R & D). Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk dalam bentuk model konseptual untuk pembelajaran matematika diskrit.Abstract: Mathematics becomes the lesson that is considered still tends to be difficult to understand. Facts and reality, mathematics remains the basis for some science in other fields. One area of science that is built on the basis of mathematics is the science of informatics technology. Thus, learners in the field of informatics must understand and learn math to be able to understand the field of informatics which became its main field. The purpose of this study is to develop a model of mathematics learning in the field of informatics. The research method used is Research and Development (R & D) method. this research produces products in the form of conceptual for the mathematical learning model of discrete mathematics subject.

This study aims to develop a Serli Practicum Module (Discovery Learning) for Science learning in Class VI Elementary Schools that has met valid, practical, and effective criteria for use in Science learning in elementary schools. This type of research is research and development that uses the Peffers et al development model. The type of development research includes six phases, namely: (1) identifying problems that motivate research, (2) describing research objectives, (3) designing and developing products, (4) testing products, (5) evaluating trial results, and (6) ) communicating results. The results of the study show that the Serli Practicum Module (Discovery Learning) for Science learning in Class VI Elementary School has been valid, practical and effective. Validity values obtained are 61 with very valid criteria. Practical value of 65.73 or very practical. And the acquisition of effectiveness value is 0.70 with effective criteria.

The aim of this research is to gain the perception of students and lecturers toward academic writing instruction Indonesian language classes in Universitas Sriwijaya. This current research was a part of research and development study on Moodle-based teaching model for academic writing instruction in Indonesian language classes. The steps of research and development model was carried out using survey and content analysis. The research was conducted in Universitas Sriwijaya. Questionnaire, interview and focus-group discussion (FGD) were instruments to collect data. Meanwhile, both quantitative and qualitative data analysis was used to analyze the collected data. After analyzing data from questionnaire, both students and lecturers perceived that academic writing instruction in Indonesian language classes are good and proper. However, the data from interview and FGD showed that there were different views between students and lecturers regarding to academic writing instruction in Indonesian language classes.Keywords: perception, instruction, academic writing

This research is based on the lack of mathematics teaching materials that are appropriate to the context in Islamic education institutions like madrasah and pondok pesantren. The goal of this research is to develop teaching materials for mathematics learning through the content of Taqrīb. The type of research used in this research is research and development. Based on the results of the research found that the the topic of mathematics in Taqrīb approaches the arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics. So that the content of Taqrīb can be used as teaching material for learning these branch of mathematics.

This research was conducted to develop an e-learning platform using Moodle Application ofacid based topic. This is research and Development (RD). The Development model used is a 4-D which consist of stage define, design, develop, and disseminate. This research is limited to the stage of development, namely the validity. The E-learning was Validated by 7validators. Data from validity the result were analized using the Aikens'V formula. Based onthe result of the study, it was found that the average Aikens’V of content validity test was0,84 with a category valid and the average Aikens’V of construct validity was 0,81 with acategory valid. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan konten pembelajaran e-learning berbasis aplikasi moodle pada materi asam basa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (RD). Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah model 4-D dengan empat tahapan yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada tahap pengembangan yaitu penentuan validitas. Validitas dilakukan oleh 7 validator. Data diambil dari angket validitas lalu dianalisis menggunakan rumus formula Aikens’V. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas konten menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata formula Aikens’V adalah 0,84 dengan kategori valid dan hasil validitas konstruk dengan rata-rata formula Aikens’V adalah 0,81 dengan kategori valid.
