Introduction. The purpose of this paper is to explore the role of The Office of Archive and Library in preservation and communication of local culture. Data Collection Method. Using a case study, this paper involved the data collection by interviews, observations and literature review. Data Analysis. The data were descriptively analysed by using thematic analysis. Results and Discussion. The Office of Archive and Library has three roles in preservation and communication of local culture. They are: (1) as an information provider; (2) as a local cultural preservation agency; and (3) as a communicator of local cultural information. The role in preservation and communication of local culture arises because of the duties of the Office of Archive and Library Office in managing knowledge and efforts to fulfill the intellectual needs of the community. Conclusion. Preservation and communication of local culture conducted by the Office of Archive and Library Office is a manifestation of the function of library. The role in the preservation and communication of local culture will continue to develop in accordance with the user needs.

The leadership of the kiai becomes very important in Islamic boarding school because the development of the quality of pesantren education depends on the competence of the leader, the meaning of the leader here is the kiai or caretaker of the boarding school. This study aims to describe the first role of leadership in improving the quality of education, secondly the leadership of kiai that is effective in improving the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools.This research uses a qualitative method, with a case study in Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic Boarding School in Malang. Data collection was carried out using interview, observation, and documentation and observation techniques. Data analysis uses descriptive qualitative methods and inductive thinking patterns. The purpose is to analyze the data obtained from field objects, and then to be related to relevant theories.The results showed: 1) The role of the kiai in improving quality in the Bahrul Maghfiroh Islamic boarding school in Malang is as a manager, educator, human resource empowerment, decision maker, attainee of the pesantren, motivator and supervisor. 2) Effective kiai leadership is leadership that builds cooperation with kiai or other institutions, regenerates kiai and builds good relations with the community.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetaui: (1) Bagaimana persepsi masyarakat  terhadap ziarah kubur (2) motivasi yang mendorong masyarakat  melakukan ziarah   kubur (3) tata cara pelaksanaan ziarah kubur. penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analisis lapangan dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat tanjung karang yang diambil lewat sampel. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data adalah analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian persepsi orang melakukan ziarah kubur adalah (1) untuk mendapatkan keselamatan, (2) adanya tradisi yang ada di masyarakat dan (3) menjadi ajang bisnis. Adapun motivasi orang berziarah kubur adalah (1) untuk mengingat kematian, (2) mendo’akan si mayit, (3) adanya keyakinan bahwa ziarah kubur dapat mendatangkan ketenangan batin dan (4) sebagai ibadah kepada Allah. Sedangkan tata cara pelaksanaan ziarah kubur ialah (1) bertindak sopan di area perkuburan, (2) mendo’akan si mayit, (3) mengucapkan salam dan (4) menghadap kiblat. This study aims to determine: (1) How is the society's perception of the grave pilgrimage (2) the motivation that encourages the community to make the grave pilgrimage (3) the procedure of pilgrimage pilgrimage. qualitative research with descriptive-field analysis approach with case study research type. Sources of data in this study is the community of coral captured by samples. Data collection techniques are conducted through interviews, observation and documentation studies. While the data analysis is thematic analysis. The results of perceptions of people performing the pilgrimage of the grave are (1) to obtain salvation, (2) existing traditions in society and (3) become business arena. The motivation of the pilgrims is (1) to remember death, (2) mendo'akan the dead, (3) the belief that the pilgrimage of the grave can bring peace of mind and (4) as worship to God. While the procedure of pilgrimage pilgrimage is (1) acting decently in the area of burial, (2) mendo'akan the dead, (3) say greeting and (4) facing Qiblah.

<p>The essence of Islamic law is to attract the good (maslahat) of humans and reject the danger from it. Therefore, in addition to carrying out the shari'ah, humans are required to understand the aims and objectives of the shari'ah set. Departing from the above statement, this study will examine the efforts of Thahir ibnu ‘Asyur in developing concepts related to the science of maqasid al-shari'ah.</p><p>The data of this research is library. The data collection method uses the documentation method, which is: collecting, then analyzing the data collected. After the data has been collected, data analysis is carried out by means of data reduction, presentation of data in narrative form, and drawing conclusions.</p><p>This study concludes that the maqasid al-shari'ah, as stated by Thahir ibnu ‘Asyur, is the spirit of all human actions relating to the laws established by Islamic shari’ah, especially in dealing with a number of problems in this millennial era. In addition, said Thahir ibnu ‘Asyur, the main reason for the decline of fiqh is the neglect of scholars towards the study of maqasid which results in the distortion of shari'ah values themselves. The opinion of Thahir ibnu ‘Asyur above is supported by ‘Allal al-Fasi, one of the experts in contemporary maqasid al-shari’ah, who asserted that the main condition for success in dialoguing fiqh with contemporary reality is the rise or failure of scholars' responses to the study of maqasid. This is where the role of maqasid al-shari'ah as the spirit of each fiqh law finds its momentum. Its elastic characteristics, across space and time, are expected to be able to dialogue with problems that continue to emerge. These characteristics are able to adapt to every civilization that runs and play a role in arousing Islamic civilization that is lagging behind other civilizations.</p>

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of reading the Qur'an using the sorogan method at the Al-Falah Lulut Islamic Boarding School, Bogor. The method used is a deductive qualitative analysis research, with a case study at the Al-Falah Lulut Islamic Boarding School. Data collection is done by conducting interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review. The data analysis used is qualitative analysis. The results of the study show: The results of learning to read the Qur'an using the sorogan method for categories level one, two, and three are quite effective, in the processEven the children like learning, but the application of the sorogan method is largely determined by the abilities and skills of the tutor, because the sorogan system in teaching is the most difficult system of the entire Islamic education system.

The aims of the research are: (1) to know the role of the Pojok Budaya Community in preserving the local culture through cultural tourism, (2) to know the factors that make Pojok Budaya Community still exist in managing Kampung Dolanan. The descriptive qualitative research methods, and data collection techniques conducted through interviews, observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results have obtained are: (1) The Pojok Budaya community has three roles, namely: a) cultural preservation: introducing the cultural meanings contained in every traditional game; b) child protection: creating a safe game for children; c) empowerment: empowering local communities to support cultural tourism; (2) Factors that make the Cultural Corner Community still exist in managing Kampung Dolanan are: a) the creative community itself, and b) availability of facilities and infrastructure.Keyword: Pojok Budaya, local cultural, cultural tourism

This study aims to assess the methodological rigor of case studies in management accounting published in Brazilian journals. The study is descriptive. The data were collected using documentary research and content analysis, and 180 papers published from 2008 to 2012 in accounting journals rated as A2, B1, and B2 that were classified as case studies were selected. Based on the literature, we established a set of 15 criteria that we expected to be identified (either explicitly or implicitly) in the case studies to classify those case studies as appropriate from the standpoint of methodological rigor. These criteria were partially met by the papers analyzed. The aspects less aligned with those proposed in the literature were the following: little emphasis on justifying the need to understand phenomena in context; lack of explanation of the reason for choosing the case study strategy; the predominant use of questions that do not enable deeper analysis; many studies based on only one source of evidence; little use of data and information triangulation; little emphasis on the data collection method; a high number of cases in which confusion between case study as a research strategy and as data collection method were detected; a low number of papers reporting the method of data analysis; few reports on a study's contributions; and a minority highlighting the issues requiring further research. In conclusion, the method used to apply case studies to management accounting must be improved because few studies showed rigorous application of the procedures that this strategy requires.

Research has long suggested that the relationship between a grandparent and grandchild is one of the most critical and important relationships one will ever experience. Because of the importance of the grandparent-grandchild relationship, this article seeks to find how grandparents shape the faith formation of their grandchild, particularly looking at whether or not geographic proximity is a factor in their faith formation. We will begin by defining our problem statement and introductory thoughts, then move into a literature review synthesizing the findings from various research, articles, books, and publications that describe how grandparents shape the faith formation of their grandchild. Finally, we will examine the data analysis and results of our research before offering practical conclusions for grandparents and the church.

This study aims to find the formulation of thayyib halal business ethics in the perspective of contemporary maqashid syaria. In Indonesia there are many fraudulent investments under the guise of syari'ah. In fact, Islamic business has the principle of a halal thayyib business that prioritizes the benefit and prosperity of every creature as a form of implementing maqashid sharia. Therefore, it is important to study this problem so that business ethics can be more contextual with current conditions. This research is included in normative research with a conceptual approach and an analytical approach. The data collection method uses literature review. While the research data analysis using descriptive-qualitative. The results show that: first, the formulation of the halal thayyib business in the perspective of Jasser Auda's contemporary maqashid syari'ah is a description of one of the maqashid sharia, namely to maintain and fulfill the desire and benefit of wealth (hifdzul mal). This concept can be viewed in terms of how to get it or in terms of maintaining the property that is already owned. Second, halal thayyib business ethics includes the prohibition on containing elements of usury, gharar, maisir, ihtikar, and bai' najasy'. Meanwhile, the Maqashid sharia is to avoid the practice of tyranny against business people, to avoid gharar in buying and selling transactions so that it is free from fade, loss, and injustice in business transactions, avoiding laziness from work due to dreams and speculation, and to avoid "false requests". which can cause loss or injustice.

This study aims to look at the trends of the OYO Hotel in Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research with a case study research design. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and literature review. Whereas data analysis uses an interactive analysis model. The results showed that the trend of OYO hotels is increasingly developing in Yogyakarta in line with the trend of travelling with a minimal budget. factors affecting tourists in choosing OYO are: cheap room rates, the number of room promotions, quality and service according to standards, adequate facilities, ease of application-based reservations, and payment can be done at the hotel

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and promotion on purchase intention mediated by trust. The object of this study is PT China Taiping Insurance Indonesia and the number of samples used in this study 170 respondents using the heir formula calculation method which was multiplied by 5. The sampling method used purposive sampling method, the data collection method used the questionnaire method and data analysis used Partial Least. Square (PLS). The results show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on trust, promotion has a significant effect on trust, trust has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, service quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchase. intention, service quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention through trust, and promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention through trust.
