Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya potensi wisata dan ekonomi kreatif di Kledung dan Bansari, Temanggung yang beragam. Namun sayangnya pengelolaan yang dilakukan sejauh ini terkesan apa adanya tanpa konsep, arah, dan strategi yang jelas. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mensinergikan pengelolaan berbagai potensi wisata dan ekonomi kreatif tersebut supaya lebih dapat memberikan kesejahteraan bagi masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini didekati secara deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, survey, observasi, dan FGD. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara rasional berdasarkan pola logika berfikir terntentu. Setelah itu data dikaitkan dengan gambaran perkembangan ekonomi kreatif sebagai penggerak pariwisata di lokasi tersebut. Pada akhirnya, hasil analisis akan diformulasikan untuk menarik kesimpulan terkait strategi pengembangan pariwisata berdasarkan ekonomi kreatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah; 1) kopi Kledung dan keseinan Bansari adalah klaster ekonomi kreatif dengan pengelolaan yang cukup baik di antara klaster lain; 2) orientasi pengembangan pariwisata didasarkan pada penguatan sektor ekonomi kreatif sebagai titik tumpunya; 3) rendahnya kompetensi SDM menjadi fokus utama dalam pengembangan pariwisata berbasis ekonomi kreatif. Akhir penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pegelolaan pariwisata dan ekonomi kreatif belum tersinergikan dengan optimal. Keadaan tersebut kemudian membawa implikasi terhadap formulasi konsep, arah dan strategi yang secara faktual tertuang dalam dokumen visi, misi, tujuan, dan sasaran pengembangan pariwisata berbasis ekonomi kreatif. Dokumen tersebut akan menjadi dasar para stakeholder terkait dalam pengembangan pariwisata berbasis ekonomi kreatif agar fokus dan terarah sehingga akan mendekatkan pada kesejahteraan. AbstractThis research was motivated by the various tourism potential and creative economy in Kledung and Bansari, Temanggung. But unfortunately the management that has been carried out so far has been impressed without a clear concept, direction and strategy. Therefore, this study aims to synergize the management of various tourism potentials and the creative economy so that it can provide more welfare for the surrounding community. This research is approached descriptively qualitatively. Data obtained through in-depth interviews, surveys, observations, and FGD. The data obtained were then analyzed rationally based on certain logical patterns of thinking. After that the data is linked to the description of the development of the creative economy as a driver of tourism in that location. In the end, the results of the analysis will be formulated to draw conclusions regarding the tourism development strategy based on the creative economy. The results of this study are; 1) Kledung coffee and Kledung Bansari coffee are creative economy clusters with fairly good management among other clusters; 2) tourism development orientation is based on strengthening the creative economy sector as its fulcrum; 3) the low competency of human resources is the main focus in developing tourism based on the creative economy. The end of this study concludes that the management of tourism and the creative economy has not been optimally synergized. This situation then has implications for the formulation of concepts, directions and strategies which are factually contained in the document of the vision, mission, goals and objectives of tourism development based on creative economy. This document will be the basis for relevant stakeholders in developing tourism-based creative economy so that it is focused and directed so that it will draw closer to welfare.

This research aims to determine the potential of tourism based on supporting and inhibiting factors of rural tourism development in Desa Kemetul and analyzing the strategy of community-based tourism in Desa Kemetul. The research was conducted in Desa Kemetul Kecamatan Susukan Kabupaten Semarang. This study uses qualitative method which the data obtained through depth interviews with Kepala Desa Kemetul, Chairman of POKDARWIS Sekar Kanthil, Local Communities, and Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Semarang, and then the data were analyzed using SWOT analysis. The study concluded that Desa Kemetul has a lot of tourism potential to become tourist attraction. Desa Kemetul needs to consider strengthening flagship product, the strategy of sustainable development of a tourist attraction, and strategies for institutional development and human resources.

Mantang  Besar and Mantang Kecil islands contain marine resources that can be developed for ma-rine tourism activities. For the above purpose, a study is needed to assess the potential of the islands. The objectives of this study were: (1) to analyze the sustainability potential of marine tourism on Man-tang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands and (2) to determine the policy and strategy to develop marine tourism in Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands. Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) with Rapid Appraisal Index Sustainability of Ecotourism approach was used for the sustainability analysis of the marine tourism potential in both islands. The results showed that the sustainability status of marine tourism potential on Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands for A dimension (ecology) was in ave-rage of 50.4592 within the category of sustainable, for B dimension (socio-economic) with average of 31.6113 within the category of less sustainable, and C dimension (institutional-technology) with ave-rage of 32.5581 wihtin the category of less sustainable. For the succes of the strategy development, B dimension should be prioritized and followed by B and C dimensions.                                                                                   Keywords: MCA, marine tourism development strategy, Anambas islands

Mangrove Bandar Mangrove mangrove ecotourism in the urban area of Dumai is an attraction between local and international tourists. The uniqueness of Bandar Bakau mangrove ecotourism is the school of nature, the potential for flora and fauna and its mangrove forests. Ecotourism Bandar Bakau is still relatively new, the division occurred in 1999 by community leaders and managed by non-governmental organizations and local communities. Mangrove ecotourism has 24 types of species and not all of their potential can be used to increase ecotourism because of the ability of people who do not understand, the high expectations of mangrove township communities for mangrove ecotourism make ecotourism management difficult to control professionally, so awareness is needed to build an agreement in building strategies local wisdom-based ecotourism development, therefore a mangrove ecotourism development strategy based on local wisdom is needed in Bandar Bakau. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods and the data were analyzed using SWOT. The technique of determining the informants was purposive sampling with observation and in-depth interviews. The research results that have been analyzed illustrate that an alternative strategy for developing mangrove ecotourism based on local wisdom yields 4 important points, first to develop mangrove conservation and rehabilitation as a form of new tourism potential in mangrove ecotourism in Bandar Bakau, second to increase participation and empowerment based on local wisdom of the local community, third formulate regulations and policies to preserve mangroves based on local wisdom of the Malay community,

Entrepreneurs play an important role in sustaining rural tourism and formulation of sustainable strategies being the initiators of the tourism business and the engine of the local development. Therefore, it is necessary to stimulate the development of entrepreneurial activities for the recovery of rural tourism potential and regional traditions, maintaining local employment growth and increase living standards in line with identifies needs and priorities of regional human resources development. This article aims to discuss the involvement of local communities in development of rural tourism entrepreneurship as well as addressing the issue of entrepreneurship in rural tourism.

This research has a specific purpose: (i) determine the potential of coastal area can be developed as a tourism product, (ii) Knowing constraints are faced in developing the tourism potential, and (iii) determine strategies that can be used in developing the tourism potential of the coast as a creative tourism products Yeh Gangga Beach, Sudimara village, Tabanan Bali. The general objective to be achieved is to improve the performance of the tourism sector in the welfare of society Tabanan through sustainable tourism development by developing creative potential.. The research found that (i) Yeh Gangga Beach has some potential creativity attraction, such as : art market, handycraft,video and photography, music and art performance, scenery, and accomodation; (ii) The main problems encountered are (i)Most strategic land has been switched ownership to investors. The strategy should be applied is (i) Maintain Yeh Gangga Beach as tourist attraction developed Tabanan through local regulations, (ii) increasing public awareness of tourism. The implications are (i) theoretically enriching literature of sustainability in tourism coastal area, (ii)practically could enhance the government to develop coastal tourism in Tabanan Bali.

Karo regency has alot of tourism potential consist of marine tourism, religious tourism, culture tourism, ecotourism and others. The tourist destination have it’s own appeal for domestic or foreign tourists. The tourist visits increased every year. This study aims to determine the potential and strategy for developing tourism in Karo District. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Research informants were determined purposively. The technique of collecting data was done by observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis data is was with data reduction, presentation of data, conclusion and data triangulation. The data are presented and analyzed in descriptively. The results shows that department of tourism Karo regency have strategy to develop the tourism. Development strategy used such as; Man, for maximize human resources quantity of department of tourism Karo regency, then departmen of tourism has cooperate with stakeholder such as community, agent, blogger, and establish tourism promotion agency for support the tourism marketing.

Tourism development in an area is able to give an impact on various dimensions of local people life. One of the impacts of tourism development is on the economic dimension. It happened to Sawahlunto, a city in West Sumatera famous for its coal mines, which slowly developed into a tourist city. The purpose of this study was to find out the Strength & Weakness, Opportunity & Threat and to formulate the development strategy of Kota Tua as a tourism destination in Sawahlunto, West Sumatra. The research method is descriptive method using SWOT analysis. The results showed that the development strategy of the Old City area of Sawahlunto used a lot of SWOT analysis, namely by increasing and optimizing natural resources through good processing, improving road access, and improving the tourism sector of Old City Sawahlunto. Another strategy is improving human resources through counseling and training, socialization of science and technology. The tourism potential of Sawahlunto old town on the 4A tourism component (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenities and Ancillary) shows that this area has the potential of historical tourist attraction. The historical heritage of World War II in Sawahlunto is the main tourism potential that is stored. With historical tourism potential, foreign tourists are the target of tourists who are expected to visit Sawahlunto. In order for a historical tourism potential strategy to be implemented, it is necessary to meet the minimum criteria of the tourism component. To meet the service standards of all 4A tourism components, it is necessary to improve the management of 4A tourism components including Attraction, Accessibility, Ancillary, and Amenity.

This research is concerned with cross-border tourism in Asam Jokowi, Desa Tulakadi. It aims to determine the potential of tourism based on supporting and inhibiting factors of rural tourism development in Asam Jokowi and analyzing the strategy of Community Based Tourism in Desa Tulakadi. The research was conducted in Desa Tulakadi. This study uses qualitative method which the data obtained through depth interviews with five key informants. Futhermore, the data were analyzed using IFAS EFAS analysis and SWOT analysis. The result of this study indicate that Desa Tulakadi has a potential tourist attraction. Based from IFAS EFAS analysis, Asam Jokowi Desa Tulakadi classified in Quadrant I (Agresive Growth) which means the strategies needed to maintain and improve the quality of tourism potential attractions. The role and cooperation of the community, media, academics, and government are necessary to develop the tourism potential of Asam Jokowi in Desa Tulakadi as a tourist destination in the cross-border region. : The authors of this article discuss the tourism development conditions in the municipalities of the Eastern Aukštaitija region, in Lithuania, and the Latgale region, in Latvia. The aim of the research is to explore tourism development conditions in the municipalities of the Eastern Aukštaitija region, in Lithuania and Latgale region, in Latvia. Objectives of the research are to characterize the factors influencing the development of tourism, to perform an analysis of the main factors of tourism development of the Eastern Aukštaitija region in Lithuania and the Latgale region in Latvia, and to define the major factors of tourism management in the municipalities of the Eastern Aukštaitija region, and the Latgale region. The scientific problem - the tourism development trends have not been studied in a local, municipality level in Lithuania and Latvia and tourism in districts is developed without a clear and long-term development strategy and consistent implementation of the program. The authors of the article apply the analysis of scientific literature, quantitative research – a survey and questionnaire data generalization. Six tourism specialists in the eastern Aukštaitija region, and 30 tourism specialists in the Latgale region, were interviewed. Tourism development issues are discussed and the results of the research (analysis of scientific literature and the questionnaire, analysis of strategic documents) are performed. The conclusions of article are: factors which influence tourism in the Lithuanian and Latvian regions most are the image of tourism destination/awareness, quality of tourism services, management of tourism destination, variety of tourism services and tourism infrastructure. Second conclusion: tourism specialists identified management of tourism destination, image of tourism destination/ awareness, quality of tourism services in Lithuania region; cultural, natural and human resources and tourism services (travel organization, tourism information services, nutrition in the Latvian region, as tourism development strengths in municipalities of the Lithuanian and Latvian region; tourism diversity and tourist infrastructure in the Lithuanian region and tourism infrastructure and entertainments in Latvia region were identified as weaknesses. Third conclusion: tourism development in both regions is threatened by such factors as unplanned changes of the state economic development priorities, population migration to other countries and other factors. While, tourism development in the region can benefit from EU funds, and the growing demand for active recreation and health tourism products in the hospitality industry and etc. Tourism development at the municipalities of both regions in Lithuania and Latvia is influenced by such factors, as the development of the tourism planning and management system, adequate competence of human resources, cooperation between public and private sectors, planning and organization, legal tourism base, tourism projects development and implementation, tourism development strategy and research in the tourism development area.
