Karo regency has alot of tourism potential consist of marine tourism, religious tourism, culture tourism, ecotourism and others. The tourist destination have it’s own appeal for domestic or foreign tourists. The tourist visits increased every year. This study aims to determine the potential and strategy for developing tourism in Karo District. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Research informants were determined purposively. The technique of collecting data was done by observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis data is was with data reduction, presentation of data, conclusion and data triangulation. The data are presented and analyzed in descriptively. The results shows that department of tourism Karo regency have strategy to develop the tourism. Development strategy used such as; Man, for maximize human resources quantity of department of tourism Karo regency, then departmen of tourism has cooperate with stakeholder such as community, agent, blogger, and establish tourism promotion agency for support the tourism marketing.

Ayunan Village has a variety of tourism potentials, which are worthy of being developed as an attractive tourist destination in the future. To achieve this, an appropriate management strategy is needed to develop the tourist area of the Ayunan village.  The objective of this research was: 1) Exploring and assessing local resources in Ayunan village, 2) Identify and analyze community perceptions about the development of tourist villages, 3) Formulating a local resource-based tourism village development strategy. The research method was used observation, interviews, and questionnaires. SWOT analysis is used to determine the tourism village development strategy and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) analysis was used to rank development priorities.  There are eight alternative strategies to develop Ayunan village as a tourist destination: a) Destination planning, b) Development of tourist attractions, c) Development of tourist facilities, d) Travel promotion or marketing, e) Community approach, f) Mapping tourism potential, g) Establishment of Tourism village community groups, h) Increase in human resources. The priority strategies base on QSPM analysis were: rank 1st was marketing or promoting. The Rank 2st Approach to the community to participate in supporting the development of tourism villages. Rank 3st Planning tourist destinations and rank 4th were increasing human resources.

Kampung Baru is one of the villages in Pekanbaru city that has the potential to develop large marine tourism. Its strategic location on the coast of Siak River and has a cultural reserve "RumahBatin" makes Kampung Baru as one of the new destinations of future historical tourism. The existence of Kampung Baru as a tourist destination is still not well exposed so there needs to be a touch of Science and improvement to accelerate its development. The purpose of this activity is to accelerate the development of marine tourism in Kampung Baru Village, Pekanbaru City. The method used is a survey method to identify activities and counseling methods to convey Science to the community. The stages of the implementation of the activity are divided into three stages of preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of a quick survey conducted, to accelerate the development of marine tourism activities in Kampung Baru through the socialization of halal certificates, making and dividing trash cans, making and enforcing plank boards, planting trees and vegetable seedlings and cleaning inner houses. The implementation of the activity is doing well and on target this can be seen from the community and village officials in supporting this activity. With the integrated KUKERTA (Community Service), the neglected tourism potential of Kampung Baru can be reappointed as a marine tourism. This leads to the fact that the touch of Science through integrated KUKERTA (Community Service) is able to accelerate the development of marine tourism in Kampung Baru.

Badung Regency is more dominated by beach tourism. More than ten famous beaches in Bali are in Badung Regency. These beaches are only located in a few districts in Badung Regency. Inequality between sub-districts also occurs between areas that have tourism potential such as beaches and areas that have other tourism potential such as waterfalls or other tourism. This will create new problems for Badung Regency in the future. In fact, sub-districts that do not have coastal tourism potential have challenges as well as opportunities to develop. One of them is Petang District, Pelaga Village. This village does not have beach tourism but has other natural potentials that can be used as an attraction for tourists to come and visit Pelaga Village. These potential differences must be implemented which can then be used as opportunities for Pelaga Village. The purpose of this research is to produce a strategy to develop Pelaga Village as a tourism destination. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data obtained from primary data and secondary data. The data is then processed using data triangulation techniques to reduce the researcher's subjectivity and is also analyzed using SWOT analysis to produce a development strategy. In this study, it was found that Pelaga Village has a lot of potential for agro-tourism and can be developed such as asparagus and some hydroponic plants. . Not only that, the community's high interest in developing agro-tourism also supports the development of Pelaga Village. After assessing the potential that is owned by the opportunity, the threat from Pelaga Village came up with several development strategies for Pelaga Village, namely to further activate the community, especially farmer groups in developing their agro products. increasing the existence of the Agricultural Culture Festival in Pelaga Village, refining the missing destination components such as the availability of restaurants and inns, creating an organization that can bring together various farmer groups in Pelaga Village, in relation to the community in developing and managing the potentials of Pelaga Village.

Ha Long Bay is one of eminent tourist destinations in Vietnam. This destination has been attaining international recognition for its landscape beauty and uniqueness, besides its  geological values inside the region. There has been an increasing number on tourist arrivals since Ha Long Bay declared as UNESCO Heritage Sites in 1994. However, the increasing of tourist visitors teamed with some problematic issues related to environment and certain conflicts between tourism and protection to natural heritage. This paper discussed the issues and government efforts to manage Ha Long Bay tourist destination. Research Method used is qualitative and descriptive data analysis. Data sources derived from primary and secondary data. The result of the research shows that Vietnamese Government has issued Strategy on Vietnam’s Tourism Development until 2020, Vision to 2030 and Vietnam’s Sustainable Development Strategy for 2011-2020. Ha Long Bay Management Board becomes the leading sector in Ha Long Bay management, which has been doing partnership with international organizations, involving local government, private sectors and local communities. These become an important point for the implementation of Action Plan for Preservation of the Ha Long Bay Heritage, to achieve quality tourism and sustainability of Ha Long Bay environment.

The study aims to determine Development Strategy the potency of the Tunda Island as a tourist attraction in the Serang Regency, Banten Province. How the development of appropriate strategy to overcome obstacles in the development of Tunda Island Coast region as a Marine Tourism attraction in Serang Regency, Banten Province. This study was conducted to determine the Tunda Island as a marine tourism destination Serang Regency were reviewed by using SWOT analysis. This study uses quialitative research methods with data collection techniques such as interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of the research carried out that Pulau Tunda as a marine tourism attraction in Serang Regency has the power in the form of underwater natural potential that is different from other islands in Serang Regency, besides Tunda Island has a considerable opportunity for increasing tourism needs and locations that tend to strategic. However, Pulau Tunda has weaknesses in the quality of human resources as well as low tourism support facilities and garbage that has not been managed properly. Meanwhile the threat faced by Tunda Island is currently the operation of sand miners and the lack of attention from the local government.   Keywords: Development Strategy, Tunda Island, Marine Tourism

Mantang  Besar and Mantang Kecil islands contain marine resources that can be developed for ma-rine tourism activities. For the above purpose, a study is needed to assess the potential of the islands. The objectives of this study were: (1) to analyze the sustainability potential of marine tourism on Man-tang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands and (2) to determine the policy and strategy to develop marine tourism in Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands. Multi-Criteria Analysis (MCA) with Rapid Appraisal Index Sustainability of Ecotourism approach was used for the sustainability analysis of the marine tourism potential in both islands. The results showed that the sustainability status of marine tourism potential on Mantang Besar and Mantang Kecil islands for A dimension (ecology) was in ave-rage of 50.4592 within the category of sustainable, for B dimension (socio-economic) with average of 31.6113 within the category of less sustainable, and C dimension (institutional-technology) with ave-rage of 32.5581 wihtin the category of less sustainable. For the succes of the strategy development, B dimension should be prioritized and followed by B and C dimensions.                                                                                   Keywords: MCA, marine tourism development strategy, Anambas islands

Purpose of this study is to predict the intentions of tourists to choose sustainable tourism destinations based on travel motivation, destination image, and word of mouth (WoM). Destination image factor is moderated by the knowledge factor. Survey targets domestic and international tourists who have visited or planned to travel at least one tourist destination around Belitung Island using the convenience sampling method. A total of 250 online questionnaires were distributed to tourists in popular tourism destinations on the island of Belitung and analyzed using the Smart PLS application. Findings of this study prove that all factors positively influence tourist intentions to choose sustainable tourism destinations. Furthermore, this research proves that tourism knowledge cannot moderate image of destination in intention of tourists to choose sustainable tourism destinations. Belitung Island is one of the main islands in Bangka Belitung Province which is developing tourism potential, especially in marine tourism. Stakeholders related to tourism on Belitung Island must find ways to encourage knowledge sharing among all interested parties and also outside their direct influence, namely information owned by tourists.

This aims of the study are finding the development strategy in the tourist area of the Dlundung waterfall to be excellent destination in Mojokerto. This is a descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data will be analyzed by SWOT method. Strategies have been found is the increased promotion of the natural beauty of waterfalls and campgrounds, additional facilities of outbound and painball, repair and improvement of facilities, road improvements, additional services and hours of operation of public transport, improving the quality of human resources of tourism, Perhutani reports the condition of the campground to Disparta about prioritized apparatus intensively, Perhutani and Disparta give an opportunity for investors to benefit location of the campsite, ask for the role of local communities in improving the security of tourism, Perhutani maintains the cleanliness and comfort of the facilities at tourist sites, increasing community empowerment in troubleshooting facilities and accessibility. this study aims to determine how the implementation is inventory of regional assets in the regional financial and asset management agency of Riau province, and to find out what are the obstacles in the implementation of the asset inventory, The theory used in this study was the Asset Inventory by Sugiama in Muthiah Sangadji using 3 indicators (Data Collection, Recording, and Reporting). To be able to answer these problems the researcher used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach / in this qualitative research the writer used data collection techniques in the form of observation, Interviews and documentation then analyzed based on the research problem. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Regional Asset Inventory at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Riau Province, Seen from the 3 indicators (Data Collection, Recording and Reporting) has not been carried out properly because there are still deficiencies in controlling activities such as the implementation of the merging of inventory cards and there are still delays in making report. The constraints in this study are the lack of human resources, The method of data collection of assets is not optimal, and not yet orderly in administration.

This study aims to describe a development policy and supporting factors, and also inhibitors of marine ecotourism in Kalanganyar Village, Kalanganyar Village in Sidoarjo Regency in an Islamic perspective. This study used qualitative method with an interaction model consisting of 3 (three) activities: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing a conclusion. Data collection were obtained from direct observations at the research location and also interviews with the Sidoarjo tourism office and visitors to the marine tourism of Kalanganyar Village. The results of this study indicate that Kalanganyar Village has a variety of tourism potential, although there is still a lack of support from related agencies, such as the existence of infrastructure and service as a tourist destination. However, in broad outline the potential of the Kalanganyar village is superior in Sidoarjo Regency.
