<p><em>Dental and oral problems in Indonesia mostly experienced by school age children. One of the most fundamental cause is the lack of parents’ awareness who don’t treat their children to brush their teeth at the right time. Whereas, nnhealthy condition of the dental and oral will result broad impact and affect the condition of the body. Therefore, night toothbrushing is important to prevent the development of bacteria that damage the teeth. The aim of this research was to determine the effectiveness of health education using storytelling method on night toothbrushing in school age children. The methods of this research used pre-experimental quantitative method with one group pretest-posttest design. The data were collected by giving checklist sheet of night toothbrushing habit. The number of sample in this study were 142 respondents selected by stratified sampling and purposive sampling technique. The data was analyzed by Wilcoxon test. The result of data showed that from 142 respondents most characteristic aged 11 years old were 20,4% respondents and the respondents in grade 6 were 22,5% respondents. The study showed that 35,9% respondents didn’t doing night toothbrushing before giving treatment, and 20,4% respondents were did night tootbrushing after intervention. Wilcoxon test showed p-value of  0,000 (p-value &lt;0,05). Researcher conclude that<strong> </strong>health education with storytelling method was effective to build up the night toothbrushing habit in school age children.</em></p><p> </p><p><em>Permasalahan gigi dan mulut di Indonesia paling banyak dialami oleh anak usia sekolah. Salah satu penyebab paling mendasar adalah kurangnya kesadaran dari orang tua dalam membiasakan anak untuk menyikat gigi pada waktu yang tepat. Padahal, kondisi gigi dan mulut yang tidak sehat akan berdampak luas dan mempengaruhi kondisi tubuh. Oleh karena itu, gosok gigi malam penting untuk mencegah perkembangan bakteri yang merusak gigi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas pendidikan kesehatan dengan metode storytelling terhadap kepatuhan gosok gigi malam pada anak usia sekolah. Metode penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif pre eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar checklist tindakan gosok gigi malam. Jumlah responden sebanyak 142 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik stratified sampling kemudian dilanjutkan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh kemudian diolah secara statistik menggunakan uji  Wilcoxon. Hasil analisa diperoleh bahwa dari 142 siswa sebagian besar memiliki karakteristik usia 11 tahun sebanyak 20,4% dengan tingkat pendidikan sebagian besar kelas 6 yaitu 22.5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 35,9% responden tidak pernah melakukan gosok gigi malam sebelum diberikan pendidikan kesehatan, dan 20,4% responden melakukan gosok gigi malam setelah diberikan pendidikan kesehatan. Hasil Uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai p atau p-value 0,000 (p-value &lt;0,05). Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa edukasi dengan metode storytelling efektif untuk menumbuhkan perilaku gosok gigi malam pada anak</em><em>.</em></p>

Kejang demam adalah kejang yang terjadi pada anak usia 6 bulan hingga 5 tahun yang mengalami peningkatan suhu tubuh yang tidak disebabkan oleh proses tersebut. Kejang demam dapat dikendalikan dengan meningkatkan pengetahuan orang tua. Penting untuk melakukan pendidikan kesehatan bagi orangtua dengan metode dan media yang tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan media flip pada tingkat pengetahuan orangtua tentang perkembangan anak-anak dengan kejang demam. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimental semu dengan desain one pretest posttest group dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian adalah 16 orang tua dari anak-anak yang mengalami kejang demam. Instrumen menggunakan kuesioner dan intervensinya adalah pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan media lembar balik. Hasil Uji Homogenitas Marginal menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan media lembar balik terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan orangtua dengan nilai p=0,005 (α = 0,05). Dianjurkan untuk menggunakan media lembar balik untuk pendidikan kesehatan bagi orangtua dengan kejang demam.Kata kunci: perkembangan anak, kejang demam, lembar balik, pendidikan kesehatan, pengetahuan orang tuaThe Effect of Health Education with Flip Sheet Media on Parent’s Knowledge Level abaout Development of Children with Febrile SeizuresAbstractFebrile seizures are seizures that occur in children aged 6 months to 5 years who experience an increase in body temperature that are not caused by the process. Febrile seizures can be controlled by increasing parental knowledge. It is important to do health education for parents with the right methods and media. This study aimed to measure the effect of health education with flip media on parent’s knowledge level about development of children with febrile seizures. This study was a quasi-experimental study with the one group pretest posttest design and using purposive sampling technique. The subjects of the study were 16 parents of children who had experienced febrile seizures. The instrument used a questionnaire and the interventions was health education using flip sheet media. The Marginal Homogeneity Test results showed that there was an effect of health education with flip sheet media on increasing parental knowledge with a p value = 0.005 (α = 0.05). It is recommended to use flip sheet media for health education for parents with febrile seizures.Key words: child development, febrile seizure, flip sheet, healt education, parent’s knowledge

Background of the research : unhealthy snacks can cause negative impact if the hygiene and safety not guaranteed. Beside it can lead to nutritional problems, the effects from unhealthy snack or food will disrupts health namely alimentary tract diseases and can cause others diseases. In fact, there are many children who have less knowledge in choosing safe snacks of food. The objective of the research : to identify the influence of health education towards knowledge an behavior of school age children in selecting safe foods at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Palembang. Methods of the research : in this study, the writer used pretest posttest control group design with total sampling technique as much as 135 students taken from class V and VI at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Palembang. Instruments used in this study were knowledge an behavior quesioner which had been modified by previous writer and they have been tested through validity and reliability test with table r score as much as 0,279. Reliablity score of knowledge quesioner were 0,754 and reliability score of behavior quesioner were 0,714. Results of the research : from wilcoxon test result there were influences on knowledge and behavior before and after conducting health education obtained p value 0,000 (p value ? 0,05). Conclusion : there are influences on health education towards knowledge and behavior of school age children in selecting safe snacks at SD Muhammadiyah 16 Palembang.

Studi memperkirakan emesis gravidarum terjadi pada 50-90% kehamilan. Mual muntah pada kehamilan memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi tubuh dimana ibu menjadi lemah, pucat dan cairan tubuh berkurang sehingga darah menjadi kental (hemokonsentrasi). Keadaan ini dapat memperlambat peredaran darah dan berakibat pada kurangnya suplay oksigen serta makanan ke jaringan sehingga dapat membahayakan kesehatan ibu dan janin. Salah satu terapi yang aman dan dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi keluahan mual muntah pada ibu hamil adalah pemberian aromaterapi lemon. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas aroma terapi lemon untuk menangani emesis gravidarum. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Quasi experiment  dengan  one group pre-post test design. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu hamil yang mengalami emesis gravidarum di Kecamatan Berbah, Sleman. Jumlah sampel 20 ibu hamil trimester pertama yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengukuran mual muntah dilakukan debelum dan setelah  pemberian aromaterapi lemon menggunakan Indeks Rhodes. Analisa data menggunakan uji Paired t-test. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata skor mual muntah sebelum pemberian aromaterapi lemon berdasarkan Indeks Rhodes pada Ibu Hamil dengan emesis gravidarum yaitu 22,1 dan terjadi penurunan skor setelah pemberian aromaterapi lemon menjadi 19,8. Ada pengaruh pemberian aromaterapi lemon dengan pengurangan mual muntah pada ibu hamil (p-value = 0.017). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan pemberian aromaterapi lemon efektif untuk mengurangi emesis gravidarum pada ibu hamil trimester pertama.  Kata kunci: aromaterapi lemon, emesis gravidarum THE EFFECTIVENESS OF LEMON AROMATHERAPY FOR HANDLING EMESIS GRAVIDARUM   ABSTRACT Studies estimate that nausea and vomiting (emesis gravidarum) occur in 50 – 90% of pregnancies. Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy have a significant impact on the body in which it makes a mother becomes weak, pale, and decreasing body fluid so that the blood becomes thick (hemoconcentration). This situation can slow down blood circulation and inflict the lack of oxygen and food supplies to the body tissues so that it can endanger the health of the mother and fetus. One of the therapies that is safe and can be conducted to reduce nausea and vomiting of pregnancy is by giving the lemon aromatherapy treatment. The research aims to determine the effectiveness of the aroma of lemon therapy to deal with emesis gravidarum. This study applied quasi-experimental research with one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was pregnant women who experienced emesis gravidarum. Furthermore, samples were 20 mothers from Berbah, Sleman taken by using a purposive sampling technique. Nausea and vomiting were assessed between before and after giving lemon aromatherapy using the Rhodes Index. The data were analyzed using the paired t-test. The mean score of nausea and vomiting before giving lemon aromatherapy on mother with emesis gravidarum based on the Rhodes Index was 22.1. However, it decreased after given lemon aromatherapy treatment to 19.8. Therefore, there was an effect on giving lemon aromatherapy treatment toward the decrease of nausea and vomiting for pregnant women (p-value = 0.017). Lemon aromatherapy is effective to reduce emesis gravidarum.  Keywords: lemon aromatherapy, emesis gravidarum

ABSTRAKAdaptasi fisik dan psikis kehamilan trimester III secara fisiologis dapat menimbulkan kecemasan ibu hamil. Adanya kecemasan pada ibu hamil trimester III dapat menyebabkan komplikasi ibu dan janin saat kehamilan, persalinan bahkan nifas. Terapi acupressure merupakan natural terapi dengan cara menekan acupoint  untuk merelaksasi tubuh, melancarkan sirkulasi darah serta memberikan rasa tenang dan nyaman. Acupoint KID 27 dan CV 17 adalah titik yang berhubungan dengan kecemasan, agitasi, penyimpangan kelenjar tiroid, keseimbangan tubuh dan pusat jantung. Penekanan pada titik ini menyeimbangkan kadar hormon tiroid dan mengatasi gangguan kecemasan. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui pengaruh acupressure depression points terhadap kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III. Metode: Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian pre-experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian dilakukan Bulan Februari-Agustus 2021. Populasi penelitian ibu hamil trimester III yang melakukan ANC bulan Juni 2021 dengan keluhan kecemasan. Sampel penelitian 22 ibu hamil trimester III dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner PRAQ-R2. Analisa data univariat dan bivariat (Uji Wilcoxon) Hasil: Hasil analisa statistik dengan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh nilai P-value 0,000 pada tingkat kecemasan. Kesimpulan: Acupressure depression points berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kecemasan ibu hamil trimester III di Semarang.Kata kunci: kecemasan, ibu hamil trimester IIIREDUCE ANXIETY IN PREGNANT MOTHER TRIMESTER III WITH ACCUPRESSURE DEPRESSION POINTS METHODABSTRACTPhysical and psychological adaptation of the third trimester of pregnancy can physiologically cause anxiety for pregnant women. The existence of anxiety in third trimester pregnant women can affect the quality of sleep which causes maternal and fetal complications during pregnancy, delivery and even postpartum. Acupressure therapy is a natural therapy by pressing the acupoints to relax the body, improve blood circulation and provide a sense of calm and comfort. Acupoints KID 27 and CV 17 are points associated with anxiety, agitation, thyroid disorders, body balance and heart centers. Emphasis on this point balances thyroid hormone levels and treats anxiety disorders thereby improving sleep quality. Objective: to determine the effect of acupressure depression points on the level of anxiety and sleep quality of pregnant women in the third trimester. Methods: This type of research is quantitative with pre-experimental research method One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The study was conducted in February-August 2021. The study population was pregnant women in the third trimester who performed ANC in June 2021 with complaints of anxiety. The study sample was 22 pregnant women in the third trimester with purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used the PRAQ-R2. Analysis of univariate and bivariate data (Wilcoxon test) Results: The results of statistical analysis using the Wilcoxon test obtained a P-value of 0.000 on anxiety levels. Febrile seizure rate on toddler was quite high and tended to increase every year. This was because as toddler experiencing febrile seizures they were not properly handled by the parents. Febrile seizure in toddler if not treated quickly can affect the increasing in seizure frequency and can cause death. The capability of mother in handling febrile seizure must be based on the right knowledge of febrile seizure. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of the mother before and after health education based on 10 steps in handling febrile seizure on toddler in Bandar Lampung Adventist Hospital. Experimental research method with one group pretest-posttest designed with random sampling technique approach involving 80 mothers with 0 to 5 year old who had fever being hospitalized. The researchers prepared 10 images of steps in handling febrile seizures randomly and asked the respondents to arrange the pictures according to their knowledge. The results were observed to determine their knowledge rearranging as pretest data. Afterward, health education was given about 10 correct steps. Thereafter, reobserved was made and the knowledge in arranging 10 images was obtained as post test data. The knowledge score before health education was 20.75% and after was 83.75%. While the analytical test used paired t test. The results showed a significant relationship between knowledge before and after health education. p value = 0.00 < 0.05. The results showed that the value of tcount (14.26) > t table (2.26). Increased knowledge in mothers reduced the risk of recurrence of febrile seizures in toddler and the nurse who had not tought these steps needed to run regularly to the mothers whose child was being hospitalized.

Approach to PLWHA by providing interpersonal counseling is the right thing to do to overcome psychological problems including social, emotional and spiritual aspects of PLWHA. This study aims to look at the effect of interpersonal counseling on social, emotional and spiritual responses in HIV/ AIDS patients. This research is a type of non-experimental research with a cross-sectional approach. The sample is post-test people and tested positive for HIV in the Kediri region, which is 32 with purpossive sampling technique. Data on social, emotional and spiritual responses were obtained based on the results of data recapitulation from the instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results of the study with the non-parametric Wilcoxon test showed there were differences between social responses of HIV/AIDS patients before and after given interpersonal counseling with p value = 0,000, there were differences between the emotional responses of HIV/AIDS patients before being given interpersonal counseling and after being given counseling with p value = 0,000, and there is a difference between spiritual responses in HIV/AIDS patients before being given interpersonal counseling and after being given interpersonal counseling with p value = 0,000. It can be concluded that interpersonal counseling influences social, emotional and spiritual responses of HIV/AIDS patients. It is recommended that the mentoring of HIV/AIDS patients through interpersonal counseling can continue so as to enhance physiological responses that will have an impact on disease prognosis, prevention of opportunistic infections and reduce mortality rates for HIV patients/ AIDS.

Surgery requires a preoperative nursing action which is the initial stage of operative nursing, which starts from the time the patient is admitted into the patient's reception room and ends when the patient is transferred to the operating table for surgery. Psychological and physiological reactions to surgical procedures and anesthetic processes that allow for an anxiety response, especially in pre-school-aged children. Preschoolers who are sick and have to be hospitalized can experience unpleasant experiences and cause anxiety. They tend to refuse treatment and treatment that is being undertaken, causing delays to some actions including surgery. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of cartoon videos on reducing preoperative anxiety levels in pre-school age children. This research method uses quasi-experimental with a pre and post-test approach with out control. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample of 20 children who were divided into 2 groups. This research instrument uses the HARS anxiety questionnaire. Data analysis using paired t-test. The results showed that the decrease in preoperative anxiety levels in pre-school children after being given a cartoon video intervention by 4.20, after being given an animated video intervention by 4.70. The results of the study also obtained p value> 0,000, which means the influence of cartoon videos and animated videos on reducing preoperative anxiety levels in pre-school age children. Suggestions that researchers can give are nurses can provide animation video interventions to minimize preoperative anxiety in pre-school age children.

Parenting is very important in the child’s psychological growth and development, the child’s ability to socialize, children’s independence, and difficult eating behavior in children. Because of the phenomenon that often arises is the child has difficult eating which is influenced by parenting parents. This research objective was to determine the correlation between parenting parents with difficult eating behavior on children’s pre-school age at the Sindang Garut village of Way Lima sub-district in Pesawaran Regency. This research was quantitative type with cross sectional approach to the sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The sample were 30 respondents. Data collection used questionnaire sheets and it used gamma statistical tests. The results showed that parenting parents applied were democratic parenting (56.7 percent), and difficult eating behavior in children’s pre-school age at the Sindang Garut village with low intensity (73.3 percent) with p value of 0.006 less than 0.05, which means there is a correlation between parenting parents with difficult eating behavior in children’s pre-school age at the Sindang Garut village of Way Lima sub-district in Pesawaran Regency. So this research is expected to be a source of reference and information for parents about the importance of parenting because it can influence the behavior of eating difficulties on children. Abstrak: Pola asuh orang tua sangat penting dalam tumbuh kembang anak dalam psikologis anak, kemampuan bersosialisasi anak, kemandirian anak, serta perilaku sulit makan pada anak. Karna fenomema yang sering muncul adalah anak mengalami sulit makan yang dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh orang tua. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan perilaku sulit makan pada anak usia prasekolah di desa sindang garut kecamatan way lima kabupaten pesawaran. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis peneltian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. dengan jumlah sampel 30 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar kuesioner dan uji statistik gamma. Hasil penelitian menunjukan mayoritas pola asuh yang diterapkan adalah pola asuh demokratis (56,7 persen), dan perilaku sulit makan pada anak di desa sindang garut dengan intensitas rendah (46,7 persen) dengan nilai p value 0,006 kurang dari 0,05, yang artinya ada hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan perilaku sulit makan pada anak usia prasekolah di desa sindang garut kecamatan way lima kabupaten pesawaran. Maka penelitian ini diharapkan bagi orang tua agar dapat menerapkan pola asuh demokratis sehingga dapat mengurangi kejadian sulit makan pada anak usia prasekolah.

Makanan yang dikonsumsi oleh anak usia sekolah sangat mempengaruhi perkembangan fisik. Orang tua memiliki peran untuk melakukan pengontrolan dan pengawasan terkait dengan pola makan anak karena anak usia sekolah rentan terkena penyakit terutama permasalahan gizi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pola makan pada anak usia sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Desember 2019. Penelitian ini melibatkan 97 orang siswa di SDN Sumur Batu 01 Pagi Kemayoran, Jakarta yang dipilih dengan teknik stratified sampling. Pola makan diukur dengan menggunakan instrument The feeding practices and structure quistionnare (FPSQ) (Jansen, Mallan, Nicholson, & Daniels, 2014). Pola makan anak dilihat berdasarkan 8 dimensi, yaitu: dimensi ketidakpercayaan nafsu makan, hadiah untuk perilaku, hadiah untuk makan, makanan persuasif, pembatasan terselubung, pembatasan yang jelas, terstruktur pengaturan makan, dan terstruktur waktu makan. Pola makan anak dikategorikan menjadi 3 kategori, yaitu rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 82,5 persen anak memiliki pola makan pada kategori sedang. Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa pola makan anak berada pada kategori belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, orang tua dan guru diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perhatian pada pola makan anak. Orang tua dan guru diharapkan dapat mengajarkan anak mengenai pola makan yang sehat.   Kata kunci: anak usia sekolah, keterlibatan keluarga, pola makan, makanan sehat   Analysis of Eating Pattern in School Aged Children Abstrack Food consumed by school age children greatly affects physical development. Parents have a role to the control and supervision related to child’s eating patterns because school age children vulnerable to disease, especially nutrition problems. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze eating pattern in school age children. The research was conducted in december, 2019. This study involved 97 students at SDN Sumur Batu 01 Pagi Kemayoran, Jakarta that were selected using stratified sampling technique. Eating pattern have been measured using the feeding practices and structure questionnaire (FPSQ) instrument (Jansen, Mallan, Nicholson, & Daniels, 2014). Children's eating patterns were seen based on 8 dimensions, namely: distrust in appetite, reward for behavior, reward for eating, persuasive feeding, covert restriction, overt restriction, structured meal setting, and structured meal timing. Children's eating patterns are categorized into 3 categories, namely low, medium, and high. The data that has been collected is processed and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results showed that 82,5 percent of children had a moderate eating pattern. These results indicate that children's eating patterns are still not optimal. Therefore, parents and teachers are expected to be able to increase attention to children's eating patterns. Damage of teeth can be affect for health of the other body, so it will interfere with daily activities. Based of the assessment in 26 school-age children in RT 08 Kelurahan Murni, showed 20 people (76.92%) who had tooth holes and black teeth, even though 18 people (69.23%) had brushed their teeth twice a day . Therefore, it is necessary to conduct health education on dental caries and tooth brushing competitions accompanied by demonstrations so that children can find out how to brush their teeth properly to avoid dental caries. The target of this counseling is that school-age children can practice the correct way of brushing their teeth to prevent dental caries. Extension activities were carried out for 45 minutes with the stages of directing participants to the place to be counseled, opening the presentation delivered by the moderator, delivering counseling material delivered by the presenter, demonstrating how to brush teeth properly, directing children to take part in brushing competitions, conducting competitions brush your teeth, give gifts to children who can brush their teeth properly, evaluate the counseling participants, distribute leaflets to the audience, document activities. The results of counseling activities are children are able to do the right way to brush their teeth.
