In the digital world, it’s somewhat difficult to manage the expectations of the present customers especially E-Commerce Shoppers who are often challenging and pushed to keep up with what is anticipated to them. Numerous E-shoppers are under pressure to locate and approach to convey an offline in-store ride to the online store ride of higher level interaction with their customers. Experts have cited that all kinds of powers are clearly in the fingers of customers and that their never ever change their behaviors, this leads to force them to approach various online shops portals to adapt. Online shopping comes to be greatly empowered, the E-shoppers expectations from retailers to vendors and are developing a rapid shift in their behavior with an emphasis on pace and convenience. Shopper’s interest spans have become shorter, with 50 percent of shoppers leaping from one retailer website to another, earlier they making an enduring purchase. In addition, greater than eighty percent of shoppers are taking their shopping experience in both online as well as offline. A retailer’s internet site is one of the key places where customers go to search about their dream product’s records and pricing. The demand for the quick shipping of products purchased and handy services, such as click on online and collect in store, as properly as seamless returns have led to groups developing easy, no-fuss fee options. Research indicates that primary shops will continue to offer higher approaches to gather products purchased online from their stores, as a way of appealing to customers and supplying larger convenience. Based on these prevailing conditions a study was performed on E-Commerce components impacting consumer’s online purchasing conducted on the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Major portions of primary data collection were done via the questionnaires method and by means of emails in two predominant cities of UAE (Sharjah, Abu Dhabi). Cost, time saving (shipping), maintaining customers private details in a secured manner and comfort while do shopping were recognized as vital elements and this leads to assured buying conduct of online shopping. The www is to remodel in the region of populace where communal networked group impact and leads to online shopping.

This research used Theory of Planned Behavior’s model to explain factors that caused people to do online shopping by adopting Limayem et al. (2000) research. Limayem’s study explain about factors that caused online shopping behavior especially intention to do online shopping which determined by perception of the consequences of behavior, attitude towards online shopping, personal innovation, subjective norms and control behavior. The main construct of this research also adopted Limayem’s study, namely : intention and behavior to do online shopping. Intention to do online shopping consist of five constructs which are attitude towards online shopping, subjective norms, personal innovation, perception of the consequences of behavior, and control behavior. The main purpose of this research is to examine whether attitude towards online shopping, subjective norms, personal innovation, perception of the consequences of behavior, and control behavior have a positive effect to intention to do online shopping and whether intention to do online shopping have a positive effect to online shopping behavior. Empirical hypothesis are used to proof the main purpose, by using correlation as the data testing tool. The result shows that the 1st hypothesis is proven, which means there is a positive effect of attitude towards online shopping, subjective norms, personal innovation, perception of the consequences of behavior, and control behavior to intention to do online shopping. It is show by signification number 0.000. The result from 2nd hypothesis is also proven, which confirm the positive effect intention to do online shopping with online shopping behavior. But one of the construct was dropped from the early data processing caused by unsatisfactorily validity.

Indonesia has become the biggest market for e-commerce as it has 250 million inhabitants. Growth of internet and online shopping has made retailers expand their businesses via smartphones. Shopping channels via the internet has given customers another channel to get information and buy products without visiting brick-and-mortar stores. This channel multiplicity potentially leads customers to do showrooming. In this research, showrooming in Indonesia will be explored with sunglasses as the research object and optic salespersons as the research subject. There are 178 samples collected in total for this research with 154 of them being used. Primary data is taken from optic salespersons at a prominent optics store in Jakarta. Partial Least Square (PLS) is used as the data analysis method. The research results show that perceived showrooming behavior has a positive and significant effect on self-efficacy and salesperson performance. Moreover, salesperson self-efficacy also has a positive and significant effect on salesperson performance. Meanwhile, coping and cross-selling strategies have a moderate positive but not a significant effect. These results reflect that salespersons do not respond negatively to customer’s showrooming behavior such as price comparison, window shopping, product information, product availability, and shopping via smartphone in front of the salesperson. Salespersons feel optimistic and confident when customers come because they have been trained for customer orientation, availability of supervisory support, and belief that the customer will do their transaction in brick-and-mortar stores if they give a good explanation about the product.

Purpose This study aims to investigate the effects of religiosity level on the shopping orientation and behavior of Muslim customers and how to store image moderates this relationship. Design/methodology/approach This study uses a positive approach and partial least square analysis technique on samples of Muslim customers in major cities in Indonesia, who have purchased products in the Syariah supermarket such as Sakinah Supermarket and 212 supermarkets at least twice within the past three months. The sampling method used in this study is convenience sampling, with a total of 117 respondents. Findings The results reveal that religiosity level significantly affects the Muslim customers’ shopping orientation subsequently impacts consumer shopping behavior. The result is in line with the rising trend by a society that begins to define successful businesses that touch upon the spiritual aspects of the shoppers. Customers with higher religiosity prefer higher quality products and customers who have lesser levels of religiosity establish different shopping characteristics and behavior. This eventually forms an orientation in shopping behavior. Furthermore, it is found that the store image significantly strengthens the influence of the impact of shopping orientations on Muslim customers’ behavior. Practical implications Marketers can increase the image of Islamic stores by implementing the principle of a smile, greeting, address to every customer who shops, managing the cashier queue to prevent ikhtilath (meeting between men and women) and adding decorations and calligraphy ornaments. Marketers can create membership cards, posters or billboards about the products that are being discounted or promoted to increase customer numbers image enhancement. Originality/value This study used specific variables that represent religiosity in the retail sector. It offers an analysis of how Muslim customers’ religiosity can affect their shopping orientation and behavior. The study is conducted in Indonesia, where research on this topic is still limited.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for online shopping has been surged since people were no longer to go to physical stores that leads to the dramatical change from traditional shopping behavior to online shopping behavior. Especially, the effect of payment, complaint resolve, delivery, product quality and technical problem is different from online customers grouped by different age, location, and gender. The objective of conducting the comparison is to understand how different respondents react within online shopping environment. The researcher collected 400 good samples from two big cities in Vietnam such as Ho Chi Minh and Ha Noi to analyse and verify the research model. According to the findings and the results after using structural equation modeling (SEM), it is evident that there is no significant effect from technical problem to all groups, also no significant effect from complaint resolve and product quality to Male group; and the rest of determinants effect significantly to different level of groups. There are many reasons to explain for these results based on culture, people and behavior of Vietnamese customers which will be showed in discussion and conclusion.
