One of Freshwater Biology course problems is that the students were unable to understand the environmental phenomena around them. The aim of this study was to develop issue-based teaching materials in Freshwater Biology course to improve the students’ understanding about the environmental phenomena through their learning outcomes. This research and development used three phases of the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan, namely define, design, and development. The development results were validated by content and media experts. The design used for pilot test, which was conducted among 20 students, was one group pretest-posttest design; meanwhile the data analysis technique used was independent t-test. It can be concluded that the teaching materials developed was valid with the average validation score as high as 79.83%. In addition, there was significant improvement (sig. 0.000) of student learning outcomes after attending the course which implementing the issue-based teaching materials developed. Thus, the implementation of issue-based teaching materials is recommended in Freshwater Biology course due to its potential in improving students’ learning outcomes.

This study aims to describe the application of the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) learning model assisted by the puzzle media and to find an increase in student learning outcomes on the theme of 6 Heat and Its Transfer in My Country, grade V SD 7 Cendono.Classroom action research was carried out in class V SD 7 Cendono with 22 students as the research subject. This research lasted for two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The independent variable is the STAD model. While the dependent variable is student learning outcomes. The research instruments were tests and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the application of the STAD learning model assisted by puzzle media could improve student learning outcomes. Student learning outcomes have increased from cycle I to cycle II, namely from the percentage of student completeness of 43% to 86%.

This study aims to find out the application and contribution of smartphone-based application ““quizizz”” as learning media in the University of PGRI Madiun. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis technique used is an interactive method, including the process of collecting data, reducing data (compiling data in patterns, categories and specific issues), presenting data (compiling data in the form of matrices, graphs, networks, certain charts) and drawing conclusions. This research was conducted at the University of PGRI Madiun. The subjects of this study were students in Accounting and Economic Education. The results showed that the usage of smartphone-based application “quizizz” as learning media can make students enthusiastic in participating in learning, so students can focus and maximize the use of smartphones as a fun learning media. The concept of maximum learning will have an impact on improving student learning outcomes.

The problem in this research was whether there is the effect of the Probing Prompting Learning model on student learning outcomes in the10thgradersof SMANurulAmal Palembang. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the Probing Prompting Learning model on student learning outcomes at SMA NurulAmal Palembang. The method used in this study was the experimental method using two classes, namely the experimental class, and the control class. Meanwhile, the data collection technique was done by tests, and documentation techniques, then the data were analyzed by the data analysis technique using t-test analysis. The results showed that the average value of the experimental class was more than 80.24 compared to the control class of 63.6 and the calculations resulted tcountedtableie, 7.02 ≥ 1.667 then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. In other words, there was the influence of the Probing Prompting Learning model on learning outcomes.

This research is backed by a low percentage of the achievement criteria at least (KKM), which is obtained by the students of IX-D MTs Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. Of the 28 students who participated in the test post on Pancasila materials as basic and ideology of the country with the study of Cooperatif Learning model, only 4 people can be declared complete (14.29%) and the remaining 24 persons have not been completed (85.71%). The Data indicates that the results of learning in the teaching materials may be declared incomplete. The percentage is far from the ideal percentage between 80%-100%. This study uses a class action method that lasts for three cycles. Each cycle includes planning, implementation, observation and reflection activities. The results of the class action research that took place in 3 research cycles can be concluded: 1) During PTK, the efforts to implement the question and answer methods have been well managed and effective enough to improve student learning outcomes; 2) Application of the question and answer method with the variation of learning media can be run effective, average final result 82.86 then student learning results will increase.

The purpose of this study is to improve student accounting learning outcomes through the Explicit Instruction learning model. The research method used is Experiment. The research sample is 31 students with the instrument used is a written test in the form of pre-test and post-test. From the results of data analysis, it is known that an increase in student learning outcomes that can be seen through the pre-test reached 58.1% as many as 18 people then increased to 87.1% as many as 27 people in the post test. Thus, it can be concluded that the Explicit Instruction learning model can improve student learning outcomes because it can motivate students and be active in classroom learning.
