Career apathy is very important to support the future / career of students, because it is a demand in life. Career aspiration is an individual orientation towards the desired career goals according to the desired conditions or expectations. One of the factors that influence an individual's career orientation is gender. Problems related to gender or gender greatly affect the achievement of individual career goals, namely in men and women. This research attempts to see the description of career aspiration level of students of gender variables. This study aims to reveal and describe differences in the level of career aspirations of students in terms of gender. The type of research used is descriptive comparative. The hypothesis tested in this study is "There are differences in the level of career aspirations of students in terms of male and female sex". The findings of this study reveal that career aspirations of male and female students are both high-categorized, but there are differences in some indicators. it is hoped that the results of this research can be a guideline for BK teachers in schools in designing career guidance programs for students, as well as to enrich the repertoire of scholarship related to individual career development.

Structured autobiographies were written by 352 male and 337 female entering freshmen. Separately for males and females, groups were formed of the high scorers (top 27%) and low scorers (bottom 27%) on each of the CPI variables, Achievement via Conformity (Ac) and Achievement via Independence (Ai). Chi square comparisons were made of the high and low scorers on all the variables resulting from a content analysis of the autobiographies. High-Ac male and female students perceived their parental and sibling relationships as more positive than the low-Acs. High-Ais report a less favorable perception of their mothers. During adolescence high-Ac girls apparently fare markedly better, while high-Ai boys seem significantly less happy and well adjusted during this period.

This article draws on an analysis of interviews with a group of young women from diverse Arab backgrounds in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to examine the roles their parents played in their higher education and career decision-making (CDM). A constructivist grounded theory (CGT) methodology guided the study and enabled the examination of the career decision-making experiences of these women within their wider sociocultural context. Parents were found to play significant roles in co-constructing career decisions with their daughters. These decisions were joint and interactive where career goals and the means of attaining them were shared and negotiated, however, generally under the control and direction of parents. This article aims to demonstrate the implicit and explicit ways in which parents controlled their daughters’ CDM, and how this occurred within the parameters of gendered and cultural conformity. The article concludes with recommendations for education policymakers in the UAE, particularly in regard to involving parents in career guidance programs in order to help young women actualize their career goals.

Nowadays, differences between men and women in computer science have become a concern in the scientific society. But few studies focus on possible gender differences in web design. We have thus tackled the problem and conducted a statistical analysis in the field. We have selected male and female sites and analyzed them according to a list of graphic variables including the number of colors in the site, the type of these, the type of background, the presence of graphics and their types etc. We have also questioned male and female students about their preferences in web design.

The pandemic that occurred until July 2021 still had an impact on the implementation of education in Indonesia. We examine how the growth mindset of students in the teaching and education faculties is during the pandemic. One hundred eighteen students participated in this study by filling out an online growth mindset questionnaire with the help of a Google form. Descriptive statistical tests were conducted to see the percentage of growth mindset, which included two dimensions, namely intelligence mindset and moral mindset. In addition, we tested the differences on both dimensions of growth mindset based on gender and GPA. The results showed that the percentage of intelligence mindset and moral mindset was at points 3 and 4 based on a Likert scale of 1 to 6. This was in the moderate category. There is no difference in the intelligence and Moral mindset based on gender and GPA. This result proves that both men and women have the same tendency of growth mindset position. Aim: The study examined the influence of Peers, Teachers and Parents in the career aspiration of students in public Senior High Schools. Three research questions and three hypotheses framed the study. Study Design: Descriptive survey design was adopted for the study. One Hundred and Ninety Six (196) students, 30 teachers, and 50 parents were selected to respond to self designed questionnaires using stratified and simple random sampling techniques. Data collected were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. Results: The findings indicated that: Teachers do not significantly influence the career aspirations of students, Parental influence is a major determinant in the career aspirations of students, Peers influence the career aspirations of male and female students differently, the influence of peers on career aspirations of students does not vary on the basis of age and programme of study. Conclusion: Peers and parents determine to a large extent the decisions that students make concerning the careers they may want to pursue, as such, it is recommended that: School heads should collaborate with counselling unit in schools to organise career workshops for students to help minimise the influence of stakeholders on students’ career aspirations.

The society in using language is susceptible to any type of word including the expression of swear word. This research aims to determine of the types in swear word use based on the gender of its use in communication. Descriptive qualitative is used as a research approach and its application uses phenomenology methods. The data are from male and female students by matching them to Wardhaugh’s and Jay’s list of swear word. Students of elefth social three are selected for this research. Analysis of the results of gender-based reviews shows that men are stronger in the use of swear word forms. In contrast to women who are more aggressive and talk much only in their groups. Sex, death, excretion, bodily functions, religious matters, politics, mother-in-law, animals, nicknames are more widely used by men. For the types of rude comments women use more. This is indicated by their words and expressions that are more feminine and long-winded. Finally, the swear word which is included in this taboo word is used sometimes not the same for men and women.

Harmonious gender relations between men and women is needed to achieve gender equality and gender equity. The purpose of this article is to find out gender relations in engineering, especially mechanical engineering in metal casting. Relationships between male and female students and relations between male and female students and lecturers. The qualitative research is the Phenomenology technique. The informants in this study were 10 students with 4 men and 6 women and a lecturer in a Polytechnic Bandung. The results showed that the relation between male and female students did not make any difference in the process of theory and practice learning. The relationship between lecturers, male, and female students also established without any difference in the men and women gender in carrying out the task of theory and practice learning. A patriarchal culture that hinders interaction between men and women genders and lecturers who used to be attached to the engineering field has begun to disappear. The research development on gender relations in engineering must still be the focus of scientists research.

This study is a descriptive research in the form of a survey of 50 female students of Madrasah Aliyah. It disclosed is whether the students know that men and women can not be distinguished by the characters and roles, career what they would choose if already left school and what form career guidance given by the counseling teacher to reduce the attitude of gender stereotypes in students career choices. The results showed students know that men and women can not be distinguished by the character and role. Then, there are students who choose a job that is considered masculine and feminine as a future career. Student knows that men and women can not be distinguished by the character and role when they received material about gender in career information services provided by counseling teacher. The researchers concluded that gender stereotypes in students career choices can be minimized through the perspective of career guidance services. Researchers suggest there should be a gender perspective in the training of career guidance in Islamic schools.

This paper mainly investigates the differences between men and women in using language especially the students� conversation at STAIN Kudus. These differences were viewed from the aspects of vocabulary, attitudes, syntax and non-verbal differences. This research belongs to a qualitative research. Data were collected through transcripts of a video documentation played by the students of Sharia Department at STAIN Kudus. The findings showed that male and female students have shown differences in their form, content, and use. Men tend to be more directive. Besides, they used more simple words. On the other hand, women were more expressive and polite in using language. In addition, they used more gestures and words signifying feeling, emotional and psychological state.
