This study examines the relationship between self-confidence with students' mathematical communication skills. This research uses expost pacto method with correlation analysis technique. The population in this study is all students of class IX in one of the SMP Negri in Cimahi city (IX.A - IX.N) with the number of 504 students / The academic year 2017/2018. As for the sample in this study is the students of SMP class IX N with the number of 36 students / i. In this study using cluster random sampling technique that is random sampling. In the data collection is by using the questionnaire instrument (self-confidence questionnaire) and test of mathematical communication skills. Further data is analyzed quantitatively by using Pearson correlation formula in SPSS application. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between self-confidence with students' mathematical communication ability, with correlation coefficient value of 0.865 and Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the discovery learning model integrated learning start with a question of mathematical communication skills. This research is a quantitative research with a type of quasi experiment. The sampling technique in this study is the random sampling technique. Data collected through interview observation and test. The data analysis technique used is the uncorrelated t test. Based on the results of research and data processing, it was found that there was an influence of discovery learning integrated learning model start with a question and discovery learning learning model on mathematical communication skills. Furthermore, mathematical communication of students by using the discovery learning model integrated learning start with a question is better than mathematical communication of students using discovery learning learning models.

The main purpose of this study is to see the relationship between the learning activities on the communication skills of vocational students. Quantitative research and correlational data analysis takes the population of all students of SMK Negeri 1 Cipanas - Cianjur. The samples used were non-random samples, ie 21 students of class XI TKJ 2 in SMK Negeri 1 Cipanas - Cianjur. The tool used for data collection is a matter of mathematical communication ability and questionnaire of student learning activeness. Data analysis technique used is correlation test with data criteria are normal and linear distributed. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that the relationship between students 'learning activities to students' mathematical communication skills. The influence of the contribution given by students' learning activity toward mathematical communication is 70,02%.   Abstrak Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan antara keaktifan belajar terhadap kemampuan komunikasi siswa SMK. Penelitian kuantitatif dan analisis data korelasional ini mengambil populasi seluruh siswa SMK Negeri 1 Cipanas - Cianjur. Adapun sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel tak acak, yaitu 21 orang siswa kelas XI TKJ 2 di SMK Negeri 1 Cipanas - Cianjur. Alat yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data berupa soal kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket keaktifan belajar siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi dengan kriteria data tersebut berdistribusi normal dan linier. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa adanya hubungan antara keaktifan belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Besar pengaruh kontribusi yang diberikan keaktifan belajar siswa terhadap komunikasi matematis sebesar 70,02%. Kata Kunci :  Keaktifan Belajar, Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis

The purpose of this study is to: 1. Describe the activeness of students in scouting activities, 2. Describe the attitude of the state defends, 3. Explain the relationship between the activities of scouting with the attitude of the state defends. The study was conducted by survey method. The population was all students in class XI. The research sample was taken by a random sampling technique totaling 60 students. The analysis technique is done by product-moment analysis. The results showed that students who actively participated in scout activities were moderate. Likewise, the attitude of defending a student's country is moderate. The results of the analysis obtained an r count of 0.585 with a significance of 0.001 <0.05. The activeness in participating student activities is included in the moderate category, as well as the defensive attitude of students including moderate. The contribution of active participation in scouting activities towards the defense of the state was 34.2%. Then it can be concluded that students who are active in scouting activities have a high state defense attitude compared to students who are not active in these activities.

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of learning model Generative on students mathe matical ability. This research was conducted at SD Islam At-Taubah East Jakarta. The research design used is treatment by level 2x2, with independent variable is the learning model that is Generative and conventional (expository), dependent variable is mathematical communication ability. Sampling technique used random sampling. The result of this research is first learning Generative effective to improve student communication ability so that this model can be used by elementary school teacher in building material. Abstract: This research aims to determine the influence of adversity quotient and classroom climate on students' economic achievement. The type of this research are descriptive and associative. The population of this research are the tenth grade students of SMAN 3 Pariaman who study economic subjects and enrolled in academic year 2017-2018 which amounted to 192 students, the sample of this reasearch are 129 students. The sampling technique is done by Proportional Random Sampling. Questionnaire is used as a data collection tool. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect between adversity quotient and classroom climate on students' economic achievement. Based on the results of the research, it was suggested for students to further increase adversity quotient and form a good classroom climate in learning in order to get a more optimal achievement. For the teachers, they are expected to pay more attention to the condition of students in learning, and for parents, they are expected to pay attention to the development of their children, so they can provide encouragement to students to remain eager in learning in order to get better learning achievement.Keyword: adversity quotient, classroom climate, learning achievement

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil penelitian-penelitian terdahulu yang menunjukkan masih rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-confidence siswa dalam belajar matematika. Learning Cycle 7E merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-confidence siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-confidence siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E dengan yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi siswa di salah satu SMP di Kabupaten Garut. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupas tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan skala sikap self-confidence siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-confidence siswa yang mendapatkan model pembelajaran learning cycle 7E lebih baik daripada siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. AbstractThis research is motivated by the results of previous studies which indicates the low ability of mathematical communication and self-confidence of students in learning mathematics. Learning Cycle 7E is one of the learning model that is expected to improve the ability of mathematical communication and self-confidence of students. The purpose of this study to determine the improvement of mathematical communication skills and self-confidence of students who get learning model of learning cycle 7E with which get the conventional learning model. This research is a quasi-experiment research with student population in one of junior high school in Garut. Sampling is done by using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study examined the ability of mathematical communication and the scale of student self-confidence attitude. The result of data analysis shows that the improvement of mathematical communication ability and self-confidence of students who get the learning model of learning cycle 7E is better than students who get conventional learning.

AbstrakKemampuan komunikasi matematis perlu dimiliki mahasiswa untuk menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi perlu didukung oleh pembelajaran yang tepat, diantaranya pembelajaran Think Talk Write (TTW). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi mahasiswa antara yang belajar dengan pembelajaran Think Talk Write dan konvensional, serta mengetahui interpretasi peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi mahasiswa dari kedua kelas. Metode penelitian yaitu kuasi eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan sampel sebanyak dua kelas di Program studi Pendidikan Matematika Institut Pendidikan Indonesia. Analisis data secara kuantitatif dengan uji gain ternormalisasi dan Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian yaitu pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi mahasiswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran Think Talk Write lebih baik dari mahasiswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional, peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran Think Talk Write memiliki interpretasi tinggi sedangkan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa yang belajar dengan pembelajaran konvensional memiliki interpretasi sedang.Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis, Think Talk Write, kuasi eksperimen Mathematical Communication Ability of Student through Think Talk Write LearningAbstractCommunication ability needs to be possessed by students to solve mathematical problems. Improved communication skills need to be supported by appropriate learning, one of which is learning Think Talk Write (TTW). The purpose of this study is to analyze the achievement and improvement of communication ability between students who are learning with Think Talk Write learning and conventional learning, as well as to find out interpretations of improved communication ability of students from both classes. The research method is quasi-experiment. The sampling technique is the purposive sampling technique by taking a sample of two classes in the Mathematics Education Study Program of the Institut Pendidikan Indonesia. Data analysis was performed quantitatively using the normalized gain test and Mann Whitney. The results of the study are the achievement and improved of communication skills of students who study with Think Talk Write learning is better than students who study with conventional learning, improvement of mathematical communication skills of students who study with Think Talk Write learning has a high interpretation while increasing mathematical communication skills of students who study with conventional learning have medium interpretations.Keywords: Mathematical Communication Ability, Think Talk Write, quasi-experiment

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian positive reinforcement terhadap rasa percaya diri anak kelompok B TK Dharma Widya Kumara Denpasar Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Rasa percaya diri adalah perasaan yakin dan mampu akan kemampuan diri sendiri yang merupakan modal setiap manusia menuju suatu kesuksesan, mudah bergaul, beinteraksi, dan lebih mudah menyerap informasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pra-eksperiment dengan rancangan yang digunakan adalah Intact Group comparison. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 4 kelas yang berjumlah 85 anak. sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 42 anak. Penentuan sampel yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pada kelompok eksperimen diberikan positive reinforcement sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis diperoleh thitung = 7,84 pada taraf signifikansi 5% dengan dk (21+21-2=40) diperoleh ttabel = 2,021 sehingga thitung 7,84 > ttabel 2,021. Berdasarkan kriteria pengujian, maka H0 ditolak. Adapun nilai rata-rata rasa percaya diri pada kelompok anak yang diberikan positive reinforcement adalah 81,34 sedangkan pada kelompok anak yang dibelajarkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional adalah 64,79. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian positive reinforcement dapat berpengaruh terhadap rasa percaya diri anak kelompok B TK Dharma Widya Kumara Denpasar Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Berdasarkan simpulan tersebut, maka disarankan kepada guru agar menciptakan suasana belajar yang efektif dan menyenangkan dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk membentuk rasa percaya diri anakKata Kunci : positive reinforcement, rasa percaya diri This study aims to determine the effect of giving positive reinforcement on the confidence of children in the B group Dharma Widya Kumara Kindergarten Denpasar Academic Year 2018/2019. Self-confidence is feeling confident and capable of one's own abilities which is the capital of every human being towards a success, easy to interact, interact with, and more easily absorb information. This research is a pre-experiment research with the design used is Intact Group comparison. The population of this study were 4 classes totaling 85 children. the sample used in this study amounted to 42 children. Determination of the sample is by using random sampling technique. In the experimental group given positive reinforcement while in the control group learned by conventional learning. Data collection is done using the observation method. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. The results of the analysis obtained thitung = 7.84 at the significance level of 5% with dk (21 + 21-2 = 40) obtained t table = 2.021 so that tcount 7.84> t table 2.021. Based on the testing criteria, H0 is rejected. The average value of self-confidence in the group of children given positive reinforcement is 81.34 while in the group of children taught by conventional learning is 64.79. Thus, it can be concluded that giving positive reinforcement can affect the confidence of children in the B group Dharma Widya Kumara Kindergarten Denpasar Academic Year 2018/2019. Based on these conclusions, it is suggested to the teacher to create an effective and enjoyable learning atmosphere by applying innovative learning strategies to shape children's self-confidencekeyword : positive reinforcement,self-confidence

Descriptively, the purpose of this research is to know the tendency of creativity, numerical ability, the students’attitude in mathematics and achievement of the students. Correlatively, the purpose is to determine the relationship between creativity, numerical ability, the students’attitude in mathematics with the achievement matematics of the students. The population of this study was all students of VIII of Junior High School in Pundong district on 2013/2014 academic year. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The results of this descriptive study showed that the tendency category of creativity in medium, numerical ability in high, the students’attitude in mathematics in medium and achievement of the students in high. Correlatively, it show R=0,899 its means that there is positive and significant relationship between creativity, numerical ability and the students’attitude in mathematics  with the achievement matematics of the students.

This study aims to determine: (1) To determine the differences in mathematical communication of students who are taught using a realistic mathematical approach compared to conventional approaches; (2) To determine the differences in mathematical communication skills of students who have high learning independence compared to students who have low learning independence; and (3) To determine the interaction between realistic mathematical approaches and independent learning on students' mathematical communication skills. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Cot Meuraja. The research method used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research type. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. The data analysis technique in this study used the Two Way Anova test. The results showed that: (1) The mathematical communication skills of students who are taught with a realistic mathematical approach are higher than conventional approaches (Fcount = 23.476 and sig. 0.000> 0.05); (2) The mathematical communication skills of students who have high learning independence are higher than students who have low learning independence (Fcount = 7.673 and sig. 0.008> 0.05).
