This study aims as a way to determine the effect of the recitation method on learning outcomes of events in life that focuses on sub-theme 2 national events about the proclamation of independence day at SDN Gongseng 1 Jombang. As we know that the average learning process in schools is still centered on the teacher himself. By using the right application, it is certain that it will have a good impact on the quality of education. The lack of student interest in the methods taught by the teacher had a significant impact. In the process of working on questions, for example, students are less able to understand what is conveyed by the teacher who is able to provide a learning process whose substance is carried out by selecting the appropriate method. This research is pre-experimental research design, in the form of one-group pretest-posttest. The sample of this study consisted of 9 boys and 10 girls totaling 19 students who were in the experimental class. In the academic year 2021, it can be seen that the results of the pretest and posttest data of students by using the recitation method have sig. 0.000 < 0.05. The purpose of this research is to consider the benefit of applying GeoGebra interactive media to improve student achievement in learning derivatives. This study was experimental research using counterbalance design. The population of the study was four classes of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Jayapura academic year 2018/2019 consisting of 122 students. Purposive sampling was applied in this study to get two experimental classes with the number of students were 22 and 26 respectively. In both experimental groups received the same treatment which were learning using GeoGebra interactive media and learning without using GeoGebra interactive media which applied orderly. This process was implemented four times at both classes interchangeably. The data of the study was collected from participant’s pretest and posttest at every learning treatment. Data was analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed test with the significance level (two-tailed) of 0.05. The result of the study shows that there are significant differences in learning outcomes of the two types of learning. The learning process which was designed using GeoGebra interactive media obtained the superior learning outcomes.

This research is about the effects of Think-Pair-Square (TPR) strategy on the reading comprehension of Seventh grade students’ at SMPN 16 Batam. It is purpose to find out the effect of TPR strategy on the reading comprehension. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher conducted experimental research. This experimental research was held at SMPN 16 Batam. The population in this research is all students of eight grade students at SMPN 16 in academic year 2014/2015. The researcher conducted research in one class. The first class is (VII.4) was as experimental class. The experimental class was taught reading descriptive text using TPR strategy. In analyzing the data, the researcher used a quantitative measurement to find the result. The analysis of the data showed that there was a significant difference of the students’ achievement before conducted treatment 62.17 for experimental class. The average of the students’ achievement after conducted treatment in experimental class was 87.33. The implication of this research seems to be applicable for seventh grade students. This strategy encouraged the students to be more active during the learning process. The suggestion is the students should know about this strategy. It will make easier while learning if they understand about the rule and procedure. To the other research, the researcher expects to understand well about this strategy in order to make easy for doing further research. Based on this finding, it can be concluded that the use of TPR strategy give significant effect in reading comprehension than the use of other conventional method. Keywords: TPR strategy, reading comprehension, experimental research

This research was a quasi experimental research that is one short experiment which used post-test only. The population of this research were the seventh grade students of SMPN 10 Bengkulu there are 180 students. The sample of this research were 57 students from two classes; the experimental class and control class. The experimental class was treated by using frontloading strategy, while the control class was taught by conventional strategy. The two classes have similar ability in English based on the scores of mid-term examination. In experimental class there was a significant positive effect towards the students reading comprehension (it was found that the t-count 2.047 while t-table was 1.676). T-count was bigger than t-table (2.047<1.676).   Based on those results, it can be assumed frontloading strategy was effective in increasing students’ reading comprehension.

This research focuses on the use of Kahoot as a media in teching reading for the English Departement students of STKIP PGRI Jombang in academic year 2017/2018. The method used is experimental research with quasi experimental design. There are two classes, they are 2016 B as the experimental class and 2016 A as the control class. The teaching process done in experimental class was using Kahoot as a media, while in 2016 A was using textbook as a media. The instrument used was a test. Before giving the test, the researchers did the content validity and construct validity by conducting the tryout to know the validity and reliability criteria of the test. After knowing all of them are valid and reliable, giving pre test, treatment, and post test was done to get the data of the research. After that, the researchers analyzed the data by using ANCOVA. The result shows that the significant value is 0.02, it is lower than the significant level 0.05.
