The mushroom-type manager expects employees not to have much knowledge on organizational issues, but to follow the instructions and directives without question. This study aims to examine the effect of the mushroom-type management approach on the loneliness levels of the employees and organizational charlatan behaviors. Therefore, the research is designed in a relational screening model. The research was carried out in the province of Denizli in Turkey with 464 participants. In the research, the mushroom type management scale, UCLA loneliness scale-3, and organizational charlatan scale were used. Validity and reliability studies of the Turkish mushroom-type management scale for schools have been reconstructed. UCLA loneliness scale-3 and organizational charlatan scale were adapted to Turkish by the researcher. The data were collected with the help of electronic forms. Regression analysis was carried out to determine the extent to which mushroom type management predicted teachers’ organizational loneliness behaviors and teachers' organizational charlatan behaviors. As a result of the research, it has been found that mushroom management positively affects the other two variables. For this reason, school principals can be suggested mushroom management behavior.

SummaryWe measured total and free protein S (PS), protein C (PC) and factor X (FX) in 393 healthy blood donors to assess differences in relation to sex, hormonal state and age. All measured proteins were lower in women as compared to men, as were levels in premenopausal women as compared to postmenopausal women. Multiple regression analysis showed that both age and subgroup (men, pre- and postmenopausal women) were of significance for the levels of total and free PS and PC, the subgroup effect being caused by the differences between the premenopausal women and the other groups. This indicates a role of sex-hormones, most likely estrogens, in the regulation of levels of pro- and anticoagulant factors under physiologic conditions. These differences should be taken into account in daily clinical practice and may necessitate different normal ranges for men, pre- and postmenopausal women.

The progress of the Islamic bank cannot be separated from the role of its customers who give trust to the bank to deposit their financial assets. It is a fact many groups of customers decide to be the customers of the Islamic bank because of their religiosity. The other influences factor of a customer’s decision is the quality of the product. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of product quality and level of customers’ religiosity towards customers’ decision whether to keep their funds in Syariah Mandiri Bank, Branch of Purwokerto, or not. The analytical tool used was multiple linear regression analysis, with a sample of 100 customers. The results indicate Y = 5,046 + 0,101X1 + 0,218X2. Based on F, it can be seen that both variables of product quality and religiosity simultanously affect the customers’ decision to keep theirfunds in BSM Branch of Purwokerto. Based on t test, it can be seen that independently, either variable of product quality or variables of religiosityinfluences the customers’ decision to keep their funds in BSM Branch of Purwokerto.

It is a common assumption that children with disabilities are more likely to experience victimization than their peers without disabilities. However, there is a paucity of robust research supporting this assumption in the current literature. In response to this need, we conducted a logistic regression analysis using a national dataset of responses from 26,572 parents/caregivers to children with and without disabilities across all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia. The purpose of our study was to acquire a greater understanding of the odds of victimization among children with and without intellectual disability (ID), while controlling for several child and parent/adult demographic correlates. Most notably, our study revealed that children with ID have 2.84 times greater odds of experiencing victimization than children without disabilities, after adjusting for the other predictors in the model. Implications for future research and practice are discussed.

Abstract Background Pulmonary function is known to decrease with age and reduced pulmonary function has been reported to be associated with all-cause mortality and cardiovascular death. The association between pulmonary impairment and atherosclerosis was reported previously but has not been investigated sufficiently in the general population. Purpose We hypothesized that arterial stiffness could reflect increase of cardiac load and reduced pulmonary function. The present study aimed to investigate whether increased cardiac load and reduced pulmonary function could affect arterial stiffness in the general population. Methods Subjects undergoing their health check-up were enrolled. Plasma B-type natriuretic peptide (BNP) levels and serum high-sensitivity cardiac troponin I (hs-cTnI) levels were measured to evaluate cardiac load and myocardial damage. Radial augmentation index (rAI) was measured to investigate arterial stiffness using HEM-9000AI device. Subjects with an ST-T segment abnormality on the electrocardiogram, renal insufficiency, cancer, active inflammatory disease, or a history of cardiovascular events and pulmonary disease were excluded. Pulmonary function was assessed using spirometry by calculating forced vital capacity (FVC) as a percentage of predicted value (FVC%-predicted), forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV1) as a percentage of predicted value (FEV1%-predicted), and the ratio of FEV1 to FVC (FEV1/FVC). Results A total of 1100 subjects aged 57 years were enrolled and their median values of BNP and hs-cTnI were 15.5 and 2.3 pg/ml. The levels of rAI were significantly associated with the levels of BNP after adjustment for possible confounders in multivariate regression analysis, but were not with the levels of hs-TnI. While the parameters of pulmonary function were inversely associated with the levels of rAI and hs-cTnI after adjustment for possible confounders in the multivariate regression analysis, but not with the levels of BNP. The other multivariate regression analyses where BNP, hs-cTnI, parameters of pulmonary function, and the other possible factors were simultaneously included as independent variables revealed that the BNP levels and the FVC%-predicted or FEV1%-predicted, besides age, gender, smoking status, body mass index, blood pressure, heart rate, creatinine, fasting plasma glucose, and triglyceride, were significantly associated with the levels of rAI. Conclusions The significant associations of rAI with BNP and pulmonary function were revealed in the general population. These findings support that arterial stiffness could reflect increased cardiac load and reduced pulmonary function, in apparently healthy individuals. Special load has produced serious damage to the concrete pavement because of the great gross weight and heavy axle load, but the present specification has not mentioned this kind of load. On this occasion, Several conditions of critical load are identified through ANSYS finite element model analysis and the formula through statistical regression analysis to the bottom maximum tension stress is drawn up. Which can not only guide the concrete pavement design under the special load but also the result may be referred by the other kinds of engineering.

Malformations of the umbilicus are a feature of many dysmorphic syndromes including Rieger syndrome, Robinow syndrome, and Aarskog syndrome. The characteristic umbilical malformation in Rieger syndrome consists of redundant periumbilical skin which extends along the cord for an excessive distance. Although the measurement of umbilical skin length plays an important role in the neonatal diagnosis of Rieger syndrome, normal values for this measurement in healthy neonates have not been established. Umbilical skin length was measured in 104 healthy neonates. The length to which the umbilical skin extended along the cranial aspect of cord (mean 11.53 mm, SD 3.58) was significantly longer than the umbilical skin length along the caudal aspect (mean 8.71 mm, SD 2.89) (P < .05). Multiple regression analysis revealed a significant association between age and umbilical skin length. Birth weight, length, and gestational age were not significantly associated with umbilical skin length when adjusted for the other three variables. No significant differences in umbilical skin length were observed between male and female groups. The above normal values should aid in the neonatal diagnosis of Rieger syndrome, and furthermore it is recommended that cranial umbilical skin length measurement be included in the examination of the dysmorphic child.
