This study aimed to analyze Science Process Skill (SPS) in class with inquiry training model use physics comic and conventional learning, and analyze the CPS based on the level of creativity, and Analyze the interaction between inquiry training model use physics comic and conventional learning. This study is quasi experiment with two groups pre-test and post-test design. The subject of this study is all students 7th grade An-nizam junior high school. The choice of class use cluster random sampling. The results of pre and past CPS were normal distribution and homogenous next use ANOVA two ways. This study showed that SPS in model inquiry training is better than conventional. The is interaction between model inquiry training and conventional base on the level of creativity to improve student’s SPS.

This study aimed to know the effect of science process skills of students and activity among the inquiry training and the conventional learning. This research is quasi-experimental study using pre-test and post-test design. The population of the study was students in Medan. Techniques that used to gain a simple is cluster random sampling, the first was grade as experimental class used the inquiry training model and the second was grade as the control class used the conventional learning. The instruments of this study were the science process skills test. The activity, affective, and psychomotor was used observation sheet. The analysis results that the inquiry training was better than that conventional learning in improving the science process skills of students.

This study aims at finding out whether or not the use of video improves the learners’ vocabulary of the young learners. This study applied pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. Twenty junior high school learners in Mataram involved in this study. The data were collected through vocabulary test (pre-test and post-test). This study used cluster random sampling technique. A t-test was used to measure the significance of animated video usage in improving young learners’ vocabulary achievement. Mean score of post-test was greater than the mean score of the pre-test. This study revealed that using animated video can improve learners’ vocabulary of the young learners

This research aimed to produce science learning materials that are feasible  to fascilitate student’s science process skill of junior high school. This research was conducted to implement the teaching and  learning materials based on guided inquiry model. This research developed them using Dick-Carey’s model and try outed using one group pre-test post-test design. The subjects of this research was science learning materials that consist of syllabus, lesson plan, student’s work sheet, instructional media, evaluation sheet to measure student’s science process skill. It was conducted to 28 eighth grade students in junior high school. The data were collected using validation, observation, test, and questionnaire. The data were analyzed  using descriptive quantitative and qualitative technique. The results  showed: (1) the teaching and learning materials developed are valid; (2) learning implementation got a good category; (3) the student’s participation  in actively learning; (4) student’s science process skill showed high category, (5) the students give positive response with very good category toward teaching and learning process. Based on this results, it can be concluded that the set of learning materials based on guided inquiry model have been developed are feasible to fascilitate  the student’s science process skill. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA model inkuiri terbimbing yang layak untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains  siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model Dick-Carey dan desain uji coba penelitian menggunakan one group pre-test post-test design. Subyek penelitian adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari silabus, RPP, LKS, Buku Ajar Siswa, Instrumen Penilaian Keterampilan Proses Sains. Uji coba dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP sebanyak 28 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan validasi, observasi, tes, dan pengisian angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perangkat yang dikembangkan valid; (2) pembelajaran terlaksana dengan kategori baik; (3) siswa menjadi aktif dalam pembelajaran (4) keterampilan proses sains menunjukkan kategori tinggi (5) siswa memberikan respon positif dengan kategori sangat baik terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA model inkuiri terbimbing yang telah dikembangkan layak untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa.

This study aims to analyze, student’s science process skills who are taught by inquiry training learning model using mind mapping is better than the students that taught with conventional learning, science process skills in students who have motivated above average are better compared with students who have the motivation below average, and the interaction between the inquiry training learning model using mind mapping and motivation in improving students' science process skills. This research was conducted by quasiexperimental. The sample selection was done by cluster random sampling that were class X2 and X1. The research instrument was using science process skills test in the form of descriptions and tests of motivation in the form of a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by ANOVA two lanes. The results showed that: The ability of students’ physics science process skills using inquiry training learning using mind mapping is better than the ability of students’ science process skills using conventional learning model. The ability of students’ physics science process skills in motivational groups are above average better than the ability of students’ physics science process skills  in conventional groups which are below average, and In this research, motivation above average dominant improves science process skills in Inquiry Training model using mind mapping rather than in conventional learning model

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan prestasi belajar antara siswa yang diberikan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dan Learning Together dikombinasikan dengan Drill and Practice;  siswa yang memiliki keterampilan proses tinggi dan keterampilan proses rendah; serta interaksi antara pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dan Learning Together dikombinasi dengan Drill and Practice dengan keterampilan proses siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada materi pokok hidrolisis garam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas siswa (XI MIA 1 dan XI MIA 3) yang ditentukan dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes tertulis, angket, observasi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) siswa yang diberikan penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E memiliki prestasi belajar yang lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang diberikan penerapan model pembelajaran Learning Together yang dikombinasikan dengan Drill and Practice; (2) siswa yang memiliki keterampilan proses tinggi memiliki prestasi belajar yang lebih baik dibandingkan siswa yang memiliki keterampilan proses rendah; dan (3) terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 5E dan Learning Together yang dikombinasikan dengan Drill and Practice dengan keterampilan proses siswa. Comparison Study of Learning Cycle 5E and Learning Together Combined With Drill and Practice on Student Achievement in Hydrolysis of Salt Viewed from Process Skill AbstractThe aim of this study were to know differences student’s achievement between Learning Cycle 5E models and Learning Together in combination with Drill and Practice; student’s achievement between higher process skill and lower process skill; and interaction between Learning Cycle 5E and Learning Together in combination with Drill and Practice models with process skill towards student’s achievement. This research is a quantitative research with experimental method. The sample consists of 2 class which taken by cluster random sampling technique. The techniques of collecting data using documentation, test, questionnaire, and observation. Based on result of the research can be concluded that: (1) student’s achievement of chemistry learning use Learning Cycle 5E better than Learning Together in combination with Drill and Practice models; (2) student’s achievement higher process skill better than lower process skill; and (3) there was an interaction between Learning Cycle 5E and Learning Together in combination with Drill and Practice models with process skill towards student’s achievement.

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training lebih baik daripada pembelajaran konvensional pada materi suhu dan kalor di kelas X semester II di SMA Negeri I Besitang T.A. 2014/2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi experiment dengan two group pre test post test design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X semester genap yang terdiri dari 5 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara cluster random sampling. Sampel yang terpilih adalah kelas kelas X-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan model pembelajaran Inquiry Training dan kelas X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa adalah tes hasil belajar.Statistik yang digunakan untuk pengujian hipotesis penelitan ini adalah uji t. Berdasarkan analisis data dan pembahasan hasil pengujian hipotesis, simpulan penelitian ini adalah: ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran Inquiry Training terhadap hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa pada materi pokok Suhu dan Kalor di SMA Negeri I Besitang.   Kata Kunci : pembelajaran inquiry training, konvensional hasil belajar

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to study and obtain information on the effect of direct and indirect T-Drill dribble agility training on improving the dribbling ability of basketball balls. This study used an experimental design in the form of Randomized Control Groub Pre-test-Post-test Design. The population in this study were 34 participants in the extracurricular basketball activities at SMP Negeri 1 Prigen. Sampling using systematic proportional random sampling technique with a percentage of 90% of 36 participants, so that the number of samples 34 participants. To determine the effect of direct and indirect form of T-Drill dribble training on improving the ability of basketball dribble skills obtained by Fcount 76.73344 more than Ftable α equal to 0.05 4.149097, meaning there is a difference related to the test of dribble skills between before the test T-Drill form's direct and indirect form of agility dribble skills. The results of the F-test analysis were continued by calculating the advanced test of the Leat Significance Difference (LSD) form, the results of the mean data for all groups were 5.61707 and the LSD coefficient was 0.05 1.652. Giving direct T-Drill dribble drills is better than giving indirect T-Drill drills.   Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan memperoleh informasi pengaruh latihan kelincahan dribble T-Drill langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap peningkatan kemampuan dribble bolabasket. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksperimental bentuk Randomized Control Groub Pre test-Post test Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta kegiatan ektrakurikuler bolabasket SMP Negeri 1 Prigen yang berjumlah 34 orang coba. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik systematic porposive random sampling dengan presentase sebesar 90% dari 36 peserta, sehingga jumlah sampel 34 peserta. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan dribble bentuk T-Drill langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap peningkatan kemampuan keterampilan dribble bolabasket diperoleh sebesar Fhitung 76,73344 lebih dari Ftabelα sama dengan 0,05 4,149097, berarti ada perbedaan yang berhubungan tes kemampuan keterampilan dribble antara sebelum tes kemampuan keterampilan dribble kelincahan bentuk T-Drill langsung dan tidak langsung. Hasil analisis uji F dilanjutkan dengan menghitung uji lanjut bentuk Leat Significance Difference (LSD), hasil mean data seluruh kelompok diperoleh 5,61707 dan koefisien LSD0,05 1,652. Pemberian latihan dribble T-Drill langsung lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pemberian latihan T-Drill tidak langsung.

ABSTRACT This research was aimed to know 1) Student’s achievement in physics by using numbered heads together (NHT). 2) Student’s achievement in physics by using conventional learning model. 3) The effect of numbered heads together (NHT) on student’s achievement especially on expansion topic. The population was nine classes student grade VII in SMP N 1 Tebing Tinggi. The sample was two classes obtained by cluster random sampling. The sample was VII5 by using numbered heads together (NHT) and VII4 by using conventional learning model. Instrument has 20 questions and tested validated. The mean of pre-test in VII5 was 38.15 and in VII4 was 38.52. After that learning model applied, and then done the post-test. The mean of post-test in VII5 was 78.15 and in VII4 was 73.52. In hypothesis testing obtained tcount > ttable at significant level 0.05. So, can be concluded student’s achievement of VII5 better than VII4. Data hasil survey pra-penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan proses sains siswa masih dalam kategori cukup dan rendah. Rendahnya keterampilan proses sains siswa akan berpengaruh pada penilaian ketiga ranah standar kompetensi lulusan yang meliputi kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Metode pembelajaran student created case studies digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keefektifan metode pembelajaran student created case studies untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pre-test and post-test control group design, dengan populasi penelitian siswa kelas  X IPA SMAN 1 Kalasan kemudian dilakukan sampling dengan metode simple random sampling. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji independent t-test dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan metode pembelajaran student created case studies efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada materi kingdom plantae. The objectives of the research are (1) to develop mathematics learning through Problem Based Learning (PBL) with social media assistance in improving students’ understanding toward statistics and (2) to find out the effectiveness of PBL with social media assistance. This research is a quasi-research with cluster random sampling. The cluster random sampling was employed to determine a control class and an experimental class. After treatment for each class, post-test was done. Then, the post-test data was analyzed through a T-test. The result is the mean score of post-test in experimental class was better than that in control class. It means PBL with social media assistance is more effective than the conventional model to teach statistics. The result was supported by a questionnaire that showed learning mathematics through PBL with social media assistance got a positive response from the students.
