This article will investigate a general concern with the practical implementation of inclusion as recommended in policy documents in art education in general and the Nordic Community School of Music and Arts (NCSMA) specifically. We ask: What do policy documents mean by inclusion? In what way can or do art educators practice inclusionary strategies? We consider homogeneity in this field and the need for pluralism in this institutional framework. We will diffract discourses through words and images in threads from a post-colonial perspective, critical race and Whiteness studies. Struggling through our blind spots in knowledge production, we seek to understand how Other perspectives received in the NCSMA can emerge. The three research scholars from the field of education and art embody different educational and geographical starting points and differing but shifting power positions in various contexts. This triangle of embodied knowledge allows us to investigate these conflicting positions and perform intentional antiracist response-ability in research related to the NCSMA as an educational institution. Our analysis shows a discrepancy between general intentions of inclusion and practical outcomes.

The article presents the scientific and methodological issues of formation of digital twins collections based on the use of the multi-aspect recursive decomposition algorithm of the subject area. The general approaches to the solution of topical issues of the modern stage of artificial intelligence are considered. The terminology is concretized in the interrelated areas of knowledge – information – data and its relation with the term of «digital twins» as information containers of knowledge is discussed. The structure, power estimation and metrizability of the information space presented as a recursively defined ordered set of elements – a collection of digital twins (DT-collections) are considered. It is shown that the practical implementation of this approach and its application as part of automated control systems involves maintaining the life cycle of the creation and operation of digital twins in the Integrated information storage, implementing a two-circuit scheme (model) of management. A new cognitive approach to assess the completeness of the knowledge measure in the information space is proposed. The model of the integrated information storage realizing accumulation of knowledge in data banks of primary and secondary information is considered. As an example, a recursive decomposition of a subset of engineering systems of an educational institution is performed.

One of the important problems of training competitive specialists in creative professions is the theoretical substantiation and practical implementation of the idea of integrating science and technology, education and production, searching on this basis for innovative approaches to creative education. Taking this into account, the problem of integrating knowledge in higher education acquires significance and has a number of advantages. The university is faced with the task of providing students with a holistic, scientific, flexible system of knowledge, which is modified depending on the profile and purpose of each type of educational institution. One of the most effective ways to achieve this goal is to integrate the content, forms and methods of teaching into the educational process.

The COVID-19 pandemic has re-emphasized distance learning. It became a powerful impetus for the transition from theoretical considerations to the practical implementation of such training in the school system (Strategy New Growth Model - New Social Policy, 2020). This article describes the experience of organizing such training for children in the 4th quarter of the 2019/2020 academic year. It considers all stages of implementation of distance learning, such as solution of legal issues regulating the activities of an educational institution; effective construction of the educational process, considering the important relationship "student-teacher"; the right choice of information technology that meets the capabilities and limited skills of students, and has a user-friendly interface. The experience of distance collaboration between a teacher, a student and his parents is also presented, which made it possible to build effective teaching and achieve a high-quality education.

The article discusses theoretical and modeled framework practical aspects of supporting children with disabilities living in an industrial region. The main goal was to study the traditions and trends of providing socio-psychological, pedagogical and economic support to the above population with further development of theoretical foundations of rehabilitation and social adaptation of children with disabilities in the industrial region and framework justification of socio-pedagogical support program.social and pedagogical realities of one of the industrial regions of Ukraine. It is proved that the basis of the regional model of social and pedagogical support of children with disabilities is always the appropriate state model, as well as the general guidelines and traditions of its implementation adopted in this region. Such guidelines for the Donetsk industrial region are: understanding the problems of children with disabilities not as medical and pedagogical, but as socio-pedagogical; an integrated approach to the use and integration of great opportunities of the industrial region (strong socio-economic and pedagogical potentials and opportunities of all subjects of socio-pedagogical support of children with disabilities); targeted, comprehensive nature of socio-pedagogical support. The mechanism of implementation of the regional program of social and pedagogical support of children with disabilities in an industrial region has been modeled. Its structure includes sectors and areas of activity, the level of implementation (regional, city (district), educational institution), and its implementation consists in systematic activities for the implementation of socio-pedagogical diagnostics of the child and youth environment, identification of the goal and priority areas of activity at the regional level and development of strategic and tactical measures for the practical implementation of the regional action program.

Internship is a form of advanced training. In the system of advanced training, modern pedagogical technologies are used. Such technologies are based on the trained independent work of the students in the conditions of wide use of the Internet. It is proposed to introduce into the existing curricula for the training of additional special courses (additional module) "Akmeologiya management education institution". The result of mastering this module is the construction of a cadet own progressive trajectory of professional self-improvement (pragmatic result) and readiness for its practical implementation (psychological result). Improvement of the qualifications of the educational staff should be carried out in the form of internship using permanent and distance form. The general internship program for this contingent of employees involves three phases - appointment, work and final. The theoretical material is processed in eyeglass lectures-presentations and seminars. At the same time, it provides significant assistance in business and quasi-professional games. At the end of the introductory phase of the internship, the choice of the theme for an individual-creative task is carried out. During the next working phase, each trainee prepares an individual creative work according to the chosen topic. Such a task may be the social-organizational project of organization development, the author's program of self-development (self-realization), etc. Work on individual and creative tasks is carried out in correspondence mode. It can dial distance and involves coaching. The formation of the ability to personally-professional self-development contributes to the use of acmeological technologies. The possibility of formation of acmeological competence is considered. One of the forms of such technology is acmeological training. The final stage in the formation of the acmeological competence of the educational institution manager is the acme-synergetic accompaniment.

This article attempts to analyze the problem of social partnership in educational sphere, based on the results of the experiment of the People's Ukrainian Academy on the formation and development of social partnership as an effective factor in ensuring the stability and prospects of education. The demand for the idea of social partnership in educational sphere as an effective factor in ensuring stability and further development of educational systems has been substantiated. The potential of classical sociological theories in the study of social partnership is revealed, the main theoretical aspects of the implementation of social partnership in educational sphere are determined. The directions of the research developments of domestic scientists on the state and trends in the development of social partnership, reforming higher education based on the consolidation of efforts of stakeholders, technologies of social partnership, stakeholder relations, problems of trust in educational sphere are presented. The analysis of theoretical developments and practical implementation of intermediate results of research and experimental work within the framework of the experiment is presented. Attention is drawn to such types of social partnership in education, which define partnership as a system of relationships between the subjects of the educational process and the educational institution; partnership as a level of the organization of relations between an educational institution and external social structures. The effective principles of joint activities are highlighted such as: consistency; voluntariness; trust; interrelation and interdependence of actions of stakeholders; flexibility and mobility; continuity, common values. Organizational and coordinating forms of social partnership have been determined, which have already proven their effectiveness. Among them, the following can be found: a board of trustees, an advisory board on financial and investment issues, a resource center for social partnership at the regional level; resource center for social partnership on the basis of an educational institution; a council of partners of the educational institution. Priority directions for further implementation of the experiment have been determined.

The emerging range of personal mobile devices, due to their advanced technical characteristics, has made it possible to widely use them at enterprises, offices or educational institutions almost in any place. This has led to the introduction of a new concept of BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), when a personal device (phone, tablet) is used for work or study. One of the serious problems encountered by teachers on the way of implementing BYOD into the educational process is the insufficient level of information competence and the lack of educational manuals for such classes. The aim of the research is to investigate the relevance of implementing BYOD approach in teaching Computer Engineering students and to consider the possibilities of using mobile devices for didactic purposes directly in the classroom and in distance learning. Within BYOD, the use of learning support mobile systems in the learning process gives its participants access to training materials, services and models adapted for the use in a mobile environment. The teachers effectively manage the learning process, in particular, focus the students’ attention on the sources of information that give the most correct and complete answers within the relevant disciplines. The research presents learning outcomes of two groups: control, with the traditional method of teaching and the equipment provided by the educational institution, and experimental, when students use their own mobile devices (tablets and smartphones) in the educational process, which gives a possibility to learn in any place convenient for a student and remotely send progress reports. The results showed that the students of the experimental group outperformed their groupmates from the control group in academic progress. The implementation of BYOD elements has led to the increase in students’ motivation and interest in their own learning. The main positive aspects of using BYOD technology in the learning process have been identified, such as convenience and flexibility, reducing the expenses of educational institutions, simplifying work with the network services, interactivity of learning, and applying multimedia format in the presentation of educational material during lectures, laboratory and practical classes, effectiveness of work with information and the presentation of results.

Abstract In Cabo Verde, Portuguese is the official language, while Kriolu is the first language of virtually all the population. The schooling context clearly reflects this diglossic situation: while the vast majority of children speak Kriolu at home, Portuguese continues to be the exclusive language of instruction. Thus, Portuguese in Cabo Verde represents a post-colonial language that has maintained its de jure status but has not entered de facto domains of use. The research described in this article is based on discourse analysis of legislative and policy documents and extended semi-structured interviews with politicians, educators and language activists. Our results in this former colonial context invite us to reconsider traditional understandings of pluricentricity, as they suggest that Cabo Verdean Portuguese is not (yet) associated with local identity and has not (yet) been accepted by its speakers as a legitimate, standardised variety.

The complex constitutional relationship between Greenland and Denmark has had no clearer manifestation than the last decade’s juridical and political wranglings over the control for uranium. In the article, we argue that the quarrel between Nuuk and Copenhagen found in their diverging uranium policies can be seen as what we term a ’securitization controversy’. That is, a form of negotiating process which delicately postpones securitization proper due to the entangled role of the uranium issue in the independence debate. Through narrative analysis of contemporary Danish and Greenlandic government policy documents (2008-2016) we thus demonstrate how Greenlandic documents attempt to desecuritize risks pertinent to extraction of uranium and REE while Danish government papers seek to risikfy uranium in order to keep the issue open to future securitization. In the analysis, we further show how certain risks in the policy papers are connected and constitute a narrative conflict involving identity and sovereignty. We argue, that the controversy found at policy level in turn is the result of the underlying ‘sovereignty game’ in the constitutional relationship between the two countries. The article introduces a methodological framework for studying such securitization controversies drawing on risk analysis and narratology. We argue that in order to account for the entangled and narrative nature of the discursive movements in the policy texts, structural narratology can be a viable methodological alternative to the Copenhagen School’s preferred method of discourse analysis.

At the present stage of science development, the problem of essence and practical implementation of the competence-based approach into education is widely discussed. The analysis of the contents and results of scientific research has shown that the issues concerning the competence-based approach to the pedagogical correction of sound culture of preschool children’s speech have been studied insufficiently. The purpose of the paper is to study the essence of the competence-based approach in the system of education as well as to determine the extent of the knowledge devoted to the use of the outlined phenomenon in the correction of sound culture of children's speech. The analysis of psychological and pedagogical research of the problem related to the competence-based approach in education, speech development, correction of sound culture of children's speech has been made. The analysis of psychological and pedagogical researches of the problem regarding person’s competences allowed allocating, in our opinion, the most complete definition of the specified concept which was offered by the Academician A. Bogush. “Competence” is a complex characteristic of a person which includes the results of preliminary psychological development: knowledge, skills, creativity (the ability to solve problems creatively: to make up creative stories, drawings and designs according to the plan), leadership role, independence, self-esteem and self-control [Bogush]. In order to pursue the competence-based approach in correcting sound culture of preschool children’s speech it seems to be important to consider that in the structure of the personality, these functions of competence can be actualised: motivational-incentive, gnostical, activity-centred, emotional-volitional, value-oriented and reflexive, communicative. Theoretical research aimed at substantiating the essence of the competence-based approach to person’s activity allows us to admit the necessity to elaborate as well as to verify the experimental methods facilitating the pedagogical correction of the sound culture of preschool children’s speech on the basis of the designated approach. Keywords: sound culture of speech; competence-based approach to the correction of sound culture of speech; competency; competence; a preschool educational institution; senior pre-schoolers
