This article aims to describe the diversity of communicative and collaborative aspects contained in the evaluation instrument in Indonesian BSE. This study uses a qualitative approach by applying the principles of content analysis. The data sources in this study were 541 evaluation instruments spread over eight teaching materials, namely compiling procedural texts, studying explanatory texts, managing information in lectures, studying life in short stories, preparing proposals, designing scientific papers, assessing works through reviews, and performing plays. The results showed that overall the evaluation instruments relevant to various communicative competence indicators were 110 questions or 20.33% while the evaluation instruments relevant to various indicators of cooperative competence were 81 questions or 14.97%. This percentage shows that the communicative and collaborative competences in the evaluation instrument in Indonesian BSE have been developed quite well.

The research aims to uncover the symbols in the novel The Alchemist and to gain knowledge about the moral teachings in the symbol. This research is descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources in this study are words, phrases or sentences in the novel Alchemist. Data collection method is a literature study method with note taking technique. Data were analyzed using description and content analysis methods. The results showed that the novel The Alchemist contained many symbols. These symbols include: (1) wise parents, who symbolize both negative and positive things. From his appearance, parents can symbolize something bad, but behind his old age he symbolizes a knowledge that is very much and wise; (2) stones that symbolize something hard, not easily broken, and can provide clues to something; and (3) deserts or deserts which can be interpreted as symbols of drought, aridity, unattractiveness, emptiness, despair, determination for ignorance, and also as symbols of devotion.

This study was conducted to develop evaluation instruments for scientific writing instruction with a constructivism approach. The development of evaluation instruments is important to provide valid and reliable measurement to measure the success rate of scientific writing instruction with a constructivism approach. In order to achieve these objectives, the combined models of development, i.e. 4D and RDR were used. The implementation of the development consisted of four stages, namely the preliminary study, define, design, and product development. The research data were in the form of quantitative and qualitative data and the data sources were the students, lecturers, practitioners, and experts in relevant fields of study. Data analysis technique was the domain technique and t test statistical technique for related samples. Based on the results, the obtained development product in the form of the evaluation of the instruction of writing scientific papers were valid and reliable. The development product consisted of four types of evaluation devices, the assessment rubrics, portfolios, observation sheets, and learning journal. Based on the results of the four development products, the effectiveness test was valid and reliable so that it can be used to conduct evaluation of learning to write scientific papers with constructivism approach, both for the evaluation of the process and the evaluation of the learning outcomes.

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami secara komprehensif nilai-nilai humaniora dalam antologi puisi "Blues untuk Bonnie" karya WS Rendra. Metode penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan studi pustaka, dan teknik analisis data dengan analisis isi melalui kajian struktural semiotik. Hasil penelitian yakni antologi puisi Blues untuk Bonnie karya WS Rendra mengandung nilai-nilai humaniora yang terlihat melalui tanda-tanda semiotik berupa moralitas, simpati, empati, kasih sayang, kepedulian, kerjasama, dan toleransi. Temuan penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa masih banyak jenis-jenis karya sastra yang dapat dijadikan objek kajian dengan menggunakan pendekatan-pendekatan yang berbeda untuk mengungkap nilai-nilai pendidikan terutama pendidikan karakter bagi siswa dan mahasiswa. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan implikasi terhadap pengajaran sastra di sekolah lanjutan sampai perguruan tinggi dalam bentuk penyusunan bahan ajar atau pengembangan model pembelajaran apresiasi sastra sebagai alternatif pemecahan masalah pendidikan karater bangsa. Kata Kunci: Nilai-nilai humaniora, antologi puisi, kajian struktural semiotik Abstract The objective of this research is to understand comprehensively the humanities values in antology of poetry "Blues for Bonnie" by WS Rendra. The research used content analysis method with qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are used library study and data analysis techniques with content analysis through the study of structuralism semiotic. The result was the antology of poetry 'Blues for Bonnie" by WS Rendra contains humanities values seen through semiotic signs are morality, symphaty, empbaty, love, care, togetherness, and tolerant. The findings lead to the recomendation that there are still many kinds of literary works which can be the object of research by using different approaches for investigating education characters! values for students. This finding implicates to literary instruction in schools to universities in forms of teaching materials or literary appreciation instruction as one of the alternative problem solving of the nation character education. This present study aims to describe the religious ethics and its actualization in today’s education system according to Ibn Hazm. A qualitative approach was employed in this library research. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data that were collected by using documentation. The data were analyzed by using content analysis and historical analysis. This findings demonstrate that according to Ibn Hazm, religious ethics are based on the Qur’an and Hadith. It tends to solve the complication of “dialectic” and focus on the effort in spreading the spirit of Islamic morality directly. This study also promote that several life problems that caused by globalization can be handled by using the principles of religious ethics offered by Ibn Hazm.

The phenomenon of differences in Qur’anic reading based on seven qira’ah is one of the internalising factors of the Quraa Ulama with geographical backgrounds and languages diversity which are generated in a unified sociolinguistic discipline. The diversity in qira’ah raises its own problems and attracts observers of Arabic who criticize each other. One of them is in the aspect of reading variety of Surah Al-fatihah. This study aims to analyze and describe the views of the previous Al-Lughah Ulama on the differences in qira’ah sab'ah in Surah Al-Fathihah. In its implementation, the researcher used qualitative approach with content analysis, while the data collection techniques were carried out through primary data sources related to qira'ah sab'ah and Sociolinguistics. The results showed that the formation of two rational views of Ulama Al-lughah; manhaj Mutasahhil (tolerant) and manhaj Mutasyaddid (extreme) in response to the variety in reading of qira’ah sab'ah in Surah Alfathihah found on the fourth, sixth, and seventh verses. But Manhaj Mutasyddid put more emphasis on the seventh verse (إهدنا الصراط المستقيم) with the letter "Shad" as a language that is covenient and fusha compared to reading with the letter "Sa".

This paper discusses about women in the framework of a global radical network on behalf of Islam as the basis of their struggle. This study uses a qualitative approach, with data sources from mass media and electronic media (newspapers, television, social media, etc.). Data collection techniques using document study. Analysis techniques use content analysis. The results show that women's involvement in the terrorist movement has been identified since the 1970s, where women became bombers after being brainwashed by male terrorists. Factors that led to the involvement of women in the global terrorism network, namely: 1) as an escape because of the discriminatory treatment that befell them; 2) reasons for concern over the inequalities suffered by the global Muslim community; 3) narrow religious awareness so that by becoming terrorists they feel they have the same social position as male terrorists in jihad; 4) psychologically unstable because of problems, and they surf on social media, so they are vulnerable to being trapped as terrorists and; 5) women whose husbands become terrorists are also involved as terrorists. The strategy carried out by terrorist groups in conquering women is by marrying them, even marrying them through social media that is legalized and / or legalized, so that according to the husband's wishes.

This study aimed to determine the competence of writing student scientific papers in Indonesia and the factors that influence it. This research is a type of library research (library research). The data sources that are the study of this research are books, scientific articles from journals, papers, magazines, and so on, which are relevant to this study and can answer the main problem. At the same time, the approach used in this research is philosophical. While the data collection technique used is documentation. In order to direct the accuracy and accuracy of the data under study, the analysis method used is content analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the competence of Indonesian students in writing scientific papers is still very low. In writing, most of them do not heed the guidelines and rules of writing scientific papers, and the level of plagiarism is very high. Based on the research results, in general, the most challenging problems students face in writing scientific papers are difficulties in obtaining references and not knowing writing techniques. Meanwhile, the factors that cause difficulties in writing scientific papers are, for example, low motivation of students in writing, lack of self-confidence and lack of mood, low reading interest, low student curiosity, and students' understanding of scientific writing that is not good as well as low mastery, against his writing conventions.

The purposes of this study are to see teacher performance measured by the conduct of the national leaving exam in Kediri city.  The study used a qualitative approach to which content analysis was done.  For the in-depth analysis, observation and interviews were completed.  After the data were collected, the trustworthiness of data was done by comparing various data.  Data were analyzed using the interactive model proposed by Miles and Huberman (1984).  Results show that to perform the national leaving exam, principals assigned teachers to well perform since the preparation of curriculum, teaching materials, teaching methods, and assessment tryout, to which the following well-prepared instructional designs were developed: enrichment of teaching materials, addition of teaching hours, learning guidance, tryout of national leaving exam, as well as guidance to mental and spiritual.

Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa, FBS, UNNES E-mail: [email protected]   ABSTRACT       This study aims to describe the contextualization of teacher teaching materials based on the 2013 curriculum in Javanese / high school / vocational language subjects in Purwokerto. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study are document review and interviews. The data source in this study is in the form of text studies. The instruments in this study used content analysis techniques. Based on the analysis, the majority of teaching materials used are printed teaching materials namely panginyongan textbooks, magazines and modules and given material from other sources originating from the internet. The results of the analysis show that from fifteen basic competencies, which meet the contextual criteria there are nine basic competencies. In basic competencies that meet contextual criteria, eighteen contextual teaching materials are obtained. The basic competencies included in the criteria for personal contestation are four and there are seven contextual teaching materials. Furthermore, there are five basic competencies and five contextual teaching materials. In cultural contextual criteria there are five basic competencies and six teaching materials that meet contextual criteria.   Keyword: 2013 curriculum contextual dimensions, teaching materials ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikam wujud kekontekstualan bahan ajar guru berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Jawa jenjang SMA/SMK di Purwokerto. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah telaah dokumen dan wawancara. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa kajian teks. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Berdasarkan analisis, bahan ajar yang mayoritas digunakan adalah bahan ajar cetak yakni buku paket, majalah dan modul panginyongan serta diberikan materi dari sumber lain yang berasal dari internet. Hasil analisis menunjukan dari lima belas kompetensi dasar, yang memenuhi kriteria kotekstual ada sembilan kompetensi dasar. Pada kompetensi dasar yang memenuhi kriteria kontekstual, didapatkan delapan belas bahan ajar yang kontekstual. Kompetensi dasar yang termasuk dalam kriteria kontestual pribadi ada empat dan terdapat tujuh bahan ajar yang kontekstual. Selanjutnya, kriteria kontesktual sosial terdapat lima kompetensi dasar dan lima bahan ajar yang kontekstual. Pada kriteria kontekstual budaya terdapat lima kompetensi dasar dan enam bahan ajar yang memenuhi kriteria kontekstual. Kata Kunci : dimensi kontekstual, kurikulum 2013,bahan ajar.

Abstract As a literary work, short stories have a useful value for the reader. The positive values ​​contained in a short story can be used as an alternative media to develop student character. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the advantages of short stories from the aspect of the theme, (2) the use of language, (3) background, and (4) moral messages. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The method used is the method of content analysis (content analysis). The data in this study are the sentences in the short story Anak Sweep Jalan. The instrument used in this study was the classification table. The result of this research is the exposure to the advantages of short stories which is the reason this short story was chosen as an implementation of student character development.
