In today's market economy, competition is an important concept. Today, issues of competition and competitiveness are especially relevant due to the processes of globalization and intensification of competition between producers of goods and services. As a result, the question arises as to what makes one producer better than another and whether he is able to fully meet the needs of his consumer, thus ensuring his profit? Therefore, assessing the competitive advantages, production, personnel, technological and marketing capabilities of the enterprise, as well as identifying ways to improve them affect the competitiveness of the enterprise in both domestic and foreign markets, as well as the possibility of expanding into new markets. Assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise allows to determine its advantages and disadvantages in comparison with competitors, identify ways to improve it, strengthen the company's position in the national market and identify new target markets. The article provides a review of scientific literature, research and publications on the subject of research, describes the methods, their advantages and disadvantages for assessing the competitiveness of the enterprise in terms of entering new international markets. The stages, the sequence of which must be followed when assessing the competitiveness of enterprises, are summarized. The main indicators, factors, as well as some characteristics of the product that affect the competitiveness of enterprises are presented. It is established that for effective assessment of the competitiveness of the enterprise in terms of entering new international markets, it is advisable to use a set of several valuation methods using a certain sequence. The evaluation results influence the choice of strategy and forms of the company's entry into new international markets, market choice, sales policy, and also allows to effectively assess the company's performance and ability to respond quickly and effectively to external changes, make the right management decisions and take measures to improve competitiveness of the enterprise.

Any business entity in a competitive environment must assess the degree of its own competitiveness in order to function effectively and assess its prospects for the future. Having information about personal competitive positions, industrial firms have the opportunity to reveal their advantages, choose the right tactics of behavior and strategy, true to the realities of the latest market processes. The basis of competitive advantages of enterprises is the socio-economic and progressive technological and organizational base, the ability to analyze and take timely measures to strengthen competitive advantages. The article analyzes ways to increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian enterprises. At the current stage of development of the national economy, the main issue to be addressed is the development of effective facilitators and mechanisms that will increase the competitiveness of domestic producers in the market and will guarantee the overall strengthening of Ukraine’s economic situation. The purpose of the article is to identify ways to increase the competitiveness of the enterprise. Compare the tools that allow you to find your weaknesses, the elimination of which can increase the competitiveness of the organization. The strategic goal is to increase the competitiveness of the domestic economy through innovation, which will create advantages for domestic producers to compete with opponents in domestic and international markets, and help Ukraine to take one of the first places among developed countries. Competitiveness is a key concept that is actively used in theory and practice of management, is a multifaceted concept, which translated from Latin means rivalry, the struggle to achieve the best results. This opens for Ukraine the possibility of transition to world standards of rational and reasonable energy consumption, development of natural resources, raising the level of technology, legal protection of intellectual property. The ultimate goal of these shifts is to create progressive and competitive innovative products on world markets. It should be noted that in the context of globalization and ever-increasing competition, the basis of competitiveness is innovation, which allows countries with innovative competitive advantages to take their rightful place in the world community.

According to Knight and Cavusgil (2004) a course that can be split to consider the phenomenon of the Born Global, is to accept that the creation of new enterprises is one of the fundamental pillars of the economic and social development of a country, especially those of this type because they allow to successfully address international markets, by the permanent implementation of innovation processes the application of deep knowledge and skills in the field of international undertaking on the part of their owners and through their processes of export, leverage a distinctive mix of strategies and guidelines that make it easier for them to get more successfully to internationalize your products and services, making the process of internationalization of a country, enabling the processes of trade between blocks, regions, countries, etc. Colombia to increase the number of international treaties with various countries in very different latitudes allows you to extend the possibility of participating in a greater crucible of possibilities for trading goods and services; invites us to analyze what is happening at this time with the formation of companies with international orientation in our country; Government policies that support this kind of intentions, the regulatory framework that underpins the processes of enterprise internationalization, among other elements, and its impact on employers, who are facing the challenge of meeting the new global demands. The theoretical basis that occurs, is based on studies on Born Global companies, obtained through interviews to this type of business in the city of Bogotá; such as the innovative capacity of the latter, knowledge of international trade as an alternative to successfully enter foreign markets, a significant number of contacts abroad, international entrepreneurship culture, the permanent search for effects of differentiating its products and services, allowing them to access positions of privilege within market segments in that move.

At the present stage of development of the Ukrainian economic system, the concept of «competitiveness» and its effective organizational support is becoming increasingly important. The problem of competitiveness management is recognized as one of the most important in the theory and practice of economics. It is important for Ukrainian enterprises operating in a transitive economy, whose competitive position in today's world markets remains insufficiently high. A significant number of scientists agree that in the context of rapid globalization and an informatized society, it is impossible to achieve the projected level of economic development due to traditional intensive and extensive factors of production. For companies operating internationally or seeking to develop their own foreign economic activity and face international competition, it is important not only to offer certain goods and services to the market, but to achieve sustainable competitive advantages in the global economic space. A significant place in the process of increasing the competitiveness of modern ukrainian enterprises is occupied by the organizational support of competitiveness management. In the course of this study, the problem of managing the competitiveness of modern ukrainian enterprises was considered, as well as the organizational and economic model of managing the competitiveness of the enterprise in terms of entering foreign markets was proposed. The results of the study are of practical importance for the enterprise of non-specialized wholesale trade LLC EL-ITEX, as proposed in the article organizational and economic model will create a kind of «foundation» for effective management of the competitiveness of the enterprise in terms of entering new markets.

In the conditions of market relations, each enterprise aims at maximizing the results of their performance. On the other hand, a competitive environment poses additional challenges in achieving this goal. Therefore, enterprises need to create and maintain competitive advantages, the main of which are aimed at manufacturing high quality products and meeting consumers’ expectations. That is why the purpose of the study is to assess the competitiveness of domestic textile enterprises and to develop proposals for their competitive positioning both on the national and international markets. The author proposes a model of expert evaluation of competitiveness in the textile industry of the national economy. The results of the study make it possible to conclude that there is sufficient potential for restoration and competitive development of the textile industry. It is stressed that democratic prices and high quality should become the key factors of competitiveness. It is determined that manufacturing high quality products by domestic enterprises will ensure long-term financial sustainability of enterprises and additional investments, which will help to increase production volumes, create more workplaces, improve the positioning of the industry on the national market, and increase its export potential.

The process of internationalization of business for individual companies is almost inevitable. It is not simple and is often made even more complex by numerous challenges. The aim of this paper is to investigate the strategies of owners and top-level managers in domestic companies from different business sectors developed with the aim to build penetration into foreign markets by building business alliances, especially since the national market often becomes too small for their expansion. The decision to use or not to use strategic alliances is usually conditioned by the characteristics of national companies. In the case of companies of different levels and periods of business operation, such alliances have a number of advantages and disadvantages. The numerous disadvantages are mainly due to the special characteristics that each of them possesses. The results of this study highlight the factors that encourage national companies to establish a strategic alliance in the processes of internationalization, as well as the elements that hinder the choice of such strategies. In this research, the methods of comparative statistics (ch2 Test, ANOVA), hypothetical - deductive methods, analytical - deductive and comparative methods, historical and statistical - descriptive methods were used.

Topicality. The inherent element of a modern market economy is competition. It contributes to the progress of a market economy and it is one of the fundamental economic categories. The market itself and its mechanism of action cannot function normally without developed forms of competition.The existence of competition ensures the development of the national economy, contributing to the fact that entrepreneurs in competition struggle to win consumers by raising the quality and lowering the prices of goods, expanding the range, introducing scientific and technological progress, etc., which in general contributes to the improvement of the welfare of the whole society.Competitiveness is one of the main indicators of successful business activity. In this regard, the substantiation of the approaches to its study with a view to further development of a system for managing the competitiveness of enterprises is relevant.Today, taking into account the overall economic and political situation in the country, the issue of increasing the competitiveness of domestic enterprises, both within the national and foreign markets, both in modern conditions and in the future, is particularly acute.Aim and tasks. The key categories for conducting this research are the competitiveness of the enterprise and products, competitive advantages, as well as marketing and logistics activities, which peculiarities of theoretical determination is a priority task.Research results. The article observes competitive advantages from different points of view, including the logistic approach to their formation. Also the strategies for creating competitive advantages in modern conditions are analyzed.Conclusions. Competitive advantage can not be identified with the potential of the enterprise. Unlike opportunities, it is a fact that is fixed as a result of the real benefits of buyers. That is why in business practice the competitive advantages are the main goal and the result of economic activity. As it can be seen from the foregoing, all strategies of creating competitive advantages have significant distinctive features, which allow us to conclude that an enterprise must clearly define for itself which strategy it is planning to implement and in no case mix these strategies. At the same time, it should be noted that there is a certain link between these strategies and this should also be taken into account when creating competitive advantages.

The paper emphasizes the relevance of the research of network entrepreneurship structures. The role of network business structures in the development of interregional economic cooperation is explained. As far as the facilities of network business structures are located in various Ukrainian regions, they contribute to not only the establishment of interregional economic links, but also the improvement of meeting the residents’ needs for goods and services. The condition and development dynamics of the largest pharmacies networks in Ukraine are analyzed. On this basis the features of interregional distribution of their trade outlets, organizational and spatial aspects of their functioning and network links in terms of evaluation of the level of centralization, structural homogeneity and openness of networks are defined. The analysis of major financial-economic activity indicators of the leading pharmacies networks in Ukraine showed that they develop in correspondence with their capacity and development trends at the market of pharmaceuticals in Ukraine. The analysis also showed that most of networks under research have high density of internal connections, maximized centralization level, homogenous structure, and high links mobility. We can observe the tendency towards the increase of trade outlets in the networks and insufficient activity of pharmacies networks in terms of participation in joint innovative projects. The express-estimation of the functioning efficiency of six pharmacies networks, which are the leaders of national market by the number of facilities and volumes of sales, established that the company Apteka-Mahnolia (“Apteka nyzkyh tsin”) has received the strongest synergy effect by the profitability and number of newly created trade outlets. The network of pharmacies “Podorozhnyk” has the strongest synergy effect by the proceeds in the pharmacy network. The abovementioned companies use the progressive management methods that promote the efficiency of their activity. The paper outlines the competitive advantages of entrepreneurship networks development, which shall contribute to activation of interregional economic links, and emphasizes the flaws of the network form of business organization.

In the article, the authors carried out a critical analysis of existing methods for assessing competitiveness, identified the advantages and disadvantages of these methods and proposed a functional approach for the process of assessing this market index. Competitiveness appears only under competitive conditions and as a result of competition. Competitiveness of the enterprise in countries with market economy is a result of plexus factors generated by the objective development of productive forces that reflect outcome of large monopolies policy in the struggle for quality, sales markets and getting profits. In the current conditions of the development of the Ukrainian economy, there is an urgent need to improve the marketing system in domestic industrial enterprises and the existing tools for the formation of their competitive advantages in both domestic and foreign markets. Every year, Ukraine is increasingly integrated into world economic processes and becomes their direct participant. Transport plays a particularly significant role in these processes.

The purpose of the article is to analyze the features and effectiveness of Ukraine’s trade diplomacy at the present stage, in particular in the field of promoting domestic goods for services to international markets. The research methodology consists in the use of methods of analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization, forecasting, as well as in the use of systemic, activity- based and historical approaches. The scientific novelty is due to the fact that the article presents proposals for solving the problem of enhancing the promotion of Ukrainian goods and services to foreign markets by means of trade diplomacy. Conclusions. As a result of the study, it was found that the further development of Ukraine’s trade diplomacy, basically, comes down to the pro-European direction and is closely related to the prospects for the implementation of «industrial visa- free» with the EU within the framework of the ACAA Agreement.
