The purpose of this research is to know the active dynamic archives management procedure, in the Department of Population and Civil Registry of the South Coast. This method of this research is descriptive qualitative method, the source data of this research determined by purposive sampling. Validity test of data used Triangulation Technique. The result of this research showed that creation, management, re-invention and archive storage space not compatible with SOP. This happens because there is no archivist or special officer performing archive management and filing facility still not adequate. Based on the research the author give some suggestion for the employers and the leaders of Departement of Population and Civil Registry of the South Coast can give more attention and providing archive storage space equipped. Keyword: Analysis, Management, Active Dynamic Archives

The study of turn taking in extensive reading lecture is aimed at investigation the types of turn taking and its functions. The scope of this study is restricted only to the classroom interaction in extensive reading lecture. There are 30 students and 1 lecturer taken as the respondents. They are taken by purposive sampling. In collecting the data, all utterances produced by the speakers were recorded and scripted. Finally, those scripts were analyzed by using descriptive qualitative method in terms of types of turn taking and its functions.The result shows that there are three turn taking types in extensive reading lecture, namely: taking the turn, holding the turn and yielding the turn. Additionally, there are eleven functions of turn taking in extensive reading lecture, namely: informative, organisation, affective, responsive, external thinking, interrogative, judgemental, intentional, hypothetical, reproductional, and imaginative functions. Keywords: turn, turn taking, and extensive reading lecture

This research was conducted to analyze how modernization affects the implementation of public service administration policies, especially in Kediri, East Java. As is well known, from time to time various aspects of life are required to undergo changes to a more modern direction. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Descriptive qualitative research is aimed at obtaining an overview of how modernization affects public service administration policies in Kediri. To obtain the necessary data, the authors used a purposive sampling technique so that the sample taken was more focused, assisted by a review of several related previous studies. The results showed that modernization, especially in the field of technology, was sufficient to influence public service administration policies in Kediri.

This research aims to describe sentence production errors especially pause and tongue slips in the 2018 Student Constitutional Debate Competition. The benefits of research for the researcher are to deepen knowledge about language, especially errors in the production of sentences, and for the reader to give knowledge to the public about the study of psycholinguistics in producing a sentence and broaden the insight into language about sentence production. Descriptive qualitative method was used in this study. This research used source data of 2018 Student Constitutional Debate Competition semifinal one and final one video. In this study the tapping technique was used for the data collection technique. Based on the results of data management and analysis, the sentence production errors contained in the 2018 Student Constitution Debate Contest video are (1) Breathing pause, (2) Doubt pause, (3) Malaproprism, (4) Transposition tongue slip, (5) Anticipation tongue slip, (6) Perseveration tongue slip. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan produksi kalimat terutama senyapan dan kilir lidah pada Lomba Debat Konstitusi Mahasiswa Tahun 2018. Manfaat penelitian bagi peneliti adalah untuk memperdalam pengetahuan mengenai bahasa khususnya kesalahan produksi kalimat dan bagi pembaca yaitu untuk memberi pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang kajian Psikolinguistik dalam memproduksi suatu kalimat serta memperluas wawasan kebahasaan mengenai produksi kalimat. Dalam penelitian digunakan metode berupa desktiptif kualitatif. Penelitian menggunakan sumber data berupa video Lomba Debat Konstitusi Mahasiswa tahun 2018 babak semifinal satu dan final satu. Penelitian menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik sadap catat. Berdasarkan hasil pengelolaan dan analisis data, kesalahan produksi kalimat yang terdapat dalam video Lomba Debat Konstitusi Mahasiswa Tahun 2018 yaitu (1) Senyapan pernapasan, (2) Senyapan keraguan, (3) Kilir lidah malaproprisme, (4) Kilir lidah transposisi, (5) Kilir lidah antisipasi, (6) Kilir lidah perseverasi. Kata Kunci:  Kesalahan Produksi Kalimat, Debat, Kilir Lidah, Senyapan

The aim of this research is to exploring the psychology dynamics of K-Pop fangirl. Data were analyzed through descriptive qualitative method which obtained through interview. Subject selected based on purposive sampling method. The result showed that: a) Fangirls idolize K-Pop because of Idol music and Idol visual aspects. b) The three subjects are in Intense personal feeling level of Celebrity worshipping behavior. Each of them also feels like have an emotional attachment towards their idol. c) One of the subjects seems like have a sense of owning them (Bias is mine behavior). Subject thinks that every idol who has a romantic relationship towards another girl same as they betray their fans. d) There is also fujoshi behavior (in Japanese) in one of the subjects, a term of women who does like romantic interaction between same-sex (Bromance).

This research aims to know how Arabic dictionary affective in translating Qiraah by using android application. This research used descriptive qualitative method. Meanwhile, the population of this research is the second semester academic year 2016/2017 with purposive sampling as a technique to collect the sample is PS 6. The data were collected by using test, observation, and interview. The instrument of this research is performance instrument, observation guidance, and interview guidance. The data collection have done from the result of this research would be analyzed by using qualitative data analyzed. The result of this research showed that 1). Based on the performance of the students in general were able to translate Qiraah that have been prepared. 2). The result of interview showed that the students easy to find out the meaning of each mufradat so that by using this method in translating the Arabic text at the previous meeting. As the result, this application is very helpful in translating.

This research aims to find out how the process and stages are carried out to make batik colors using natural ingredient pacar kuku leaves, to find out how the results of batik coloring in terms of color evenness, color sharpness, and color absorption using natural ingredient pacar kuku leaves, and to find out how the influence of the time difference for one day, two days and theree days done when soaking batik cloth using natural ingredient pacar kuku leaves (Lawsonia Inermis L). This research is a qualitative research. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The population contained in this research were all first year students of Al-Ghazali Class SMP IT Bina Insan, using Purposive Sampling technique, which is a sampling technique with certain considerations. Work evaluation indicators, such as; color evenness, color sharpness, and color absorption as well as the time differences. The results showed that overall the work of batik coloring experiment with natural ingredient pacar kuku leaves (Lawsonia Inermis L) from the time differences for one day, two days and theree days obtained good category result. color evenness overall obtained good category result, color absorption obtained good category result and color sharpness obtained good category result. <p><em>The purpose of the research are kind of code-switching and code-mixing, the factor of the result from the code-switching and code-mixing; and the role of the code-switching and code-mixing in the Indonesian lerning of the seventh F class SMP N 2 Brangsong, Kendal regency. </em><em>The research used descriptive qualitative method with </em><em>case study </em><em>approach.The research used purposive sampiling and snow ball sampling, then the technique of the collecting data by record, report, and interview. Validity test is triangulation theory.The result of the research are: the first, find out 12 code-switching in the javanese is four times and from Arab is 8 times; the second, find out the code-mixing consist of 44 times divided to be Indonesian dialeg from Jakarta is 12 times and english is 6 times; the third, factor of the result from the code-switching and code mixing from the research devided to be 5 factors (a) personal and speaker, (b) the partner of the speech, (c) the place, (d) topic, and (e) function and purpose</em><em>.</em></p>

Much attention has been paid on the phonological errors in tongue twister activity of Javanese and Sundanese people. In Indonesia, every single area has different pronunciation dialects, especially Javanese and Sundanese. Javanese is famous with “medok”. It is the Javanese dialect which is powerful when spelling P and B. Some Sundanese people find it difficult to spell F and V. For example when speaking “of”, Sundanese usually says “op”. The aim of this paper to prove assumption about Javanese people who are famous with medok sounds and for Sundanese people having difficulties to says f and v. The writers use qualitative method, with descriptive qualitative design. This paper uses purposive sampling design. For the participants the writers choose fifth semesters students of IKIP Siliwangi Bandung aged twenty until twenty-one years old. The samples are five Javanese people and five Sundanese people (four males and six females). The result of this research for Javanese people have 57% phonological errors of bilabial sounds and for Sundanese people have 59% phonological errors of labio-dental sounds. The result of this study supports people’s assumption about phonological errors made by Javanese and Sundanese people in producing bilabial and labio-dental sounds.

AbstrakKesalahan siswa dalam memecahkan suatu persoalan matematika dalam bentuk cerita pada matematika dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya dalam memahami masalah dan konsep materi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesalahan-kesalahan siswa dalam materi aritmatika sosial dengan tes berbasis pemecahan masalah. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan mengambil siswa yang sudah mempelajari materi aritmatika sosial disalah satu SMP di Kota Cimahi. Selanjutnya dipilih secara purposive sampling 3 siswa yang memiliki kemampuan tinggi, kemampuan sedang dan kemampuan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya beberapa kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal, disebabkan oleh kesalahan dalam menuliskan angka, kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal yang disebabkan kurangnya memamahi soal, dan konsep pada materi yang berkaitan. AbstractStudent mistakes in solving a mathematical problem in the form of a story in mathematics are influenced by a lack of understanding of the problem and the concept of the material. The purpose of this study was to determine students' mistakes in social arithmetic material with problem-based test questions. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method, by taking a class that has studied social arithmetic material in one of the City of Cimahi. Furthermore, from one class selectively selected 3 students with low, medium, and high ability. The results of the study showed that there were some errors of students in doing the problems, which were caused by errors in writing the calculation of numbers, and students' errors in solving the questions due to lack of understanding of the concepts and problems in the related material.

This objective of the research is to classify the types of translation technique from English to Indonesian subtitle, to determine the most dominant type of translation technique of English to Indonesian subtitle of “Bhaijan Bajrangi” movie. The study of this research used the descriptive qualitative method to describe the subject or the object of the research based on the fact or reality. The data of this research are utterances or sentences in the movie script, which involves two different languages, both the SL (English) and the TL (Indonesian). The source data are “Bhaijan Bajrangi” movie. The data were collected by using the documentation method in the movie. The type of translation techniques used are: 1) Literal (137 data or 28.84 %), 2) Modulation (86 data or 18.11 %), 3) Reduction/Omission (83 data or 17.47 %), 4) Established Equivalence (49 data or 10.32 %), 5) Amplification/Addition (42 data or 8.84 %), 6) Transposition/Shift (33 data or 6.95 %), 7) Borrowing (20 data or 4.21 %), 8) Particularization (12 data or 2.53 %), 9) Generalization (6 data or 1.26 %), 10) Adaptation (5 data or 1.05 %), and 11) Description (2 data or 0.42 %).
