Learning innovation is a necessity that must be done in order to increase the quality of education. Learning innovation is needed in many aspects and factors of education, such as good facilities, curriculum, learning process, evaluation of education and improvement of teachers and the leraning participant quality. This article presents the idea of educational innovation in the development of teaching materials. There are three ways that can be used in developing teaching materials, namely: (1) writing itself (starting from scratch), (2) repackaging information, (3) structuring information (compilation). Teaching materials must meet the criteria: the accuracy of the content, the precision of coverage, the legibility of teaching materials, the use of language, packaging, illustrations, and completeness of the component. To produce teaching materials, need to be done through the stages of research and development, including: discover the potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, revision, product testing, product revision, utility testing, product revision, and mass production

Based on the necessary with the teacher, it is concluded that teachers need information technology (IT) based on learning media in the teaching and learning process. The main purpose of this study is to know about the research procedure, to know about the quality of the media that developed, and the expert's respond. This study is a Research and Development (R&D). The on  procedure of the procedure uses 9 steps, including 1)Potentials and problems, 2)Data collection, 3)Product design, 4)Design validation, 5)Design revision, 6)Product try-out, 7)Product revision, 8)Application try-out, 9)Product revision until the desired products interactive powerpoint learning media are complete. The result of the study showed that the media were appropriate to be implemented. This showed from media experts of the validation result that average score 3,34 with a very good category. Material expert student's that average score 3,40 with very good category and from linguists expert result that average score 3,22 with the good category. Next, the average validation score of the teacher is 3,62 with a very good category and peers of the validation result that average score 3,44 with a very good category. The last response of the students in applications try-out responses that average score 92,75 with a very good category.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan karakteristik kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur untuk pembelajaran bahasa Jawa di SMP Kota Semarang,  (2) membuat prototipe buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, dan (3) mendeskripsikan hasil validasi ahli mengenai prototipe buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan tahapan yaitu (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, dan (5) revisi desain. Data pada penelitian ini adalah amanat dari Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur dan kebutuhan terhadap buku cerita bergambar berbasis Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan penyebaran angket. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan buku cerita bergambar berjudul Sinau Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Setelah buku tersebut disusun, selanjutnya dilakukan uji validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media untuk mendapatkan saran dan perbaikan buku. Saran dan perbaikan dari ahli mencakup aspek materi, penyajian dan kegrafikaan.  Kata Kunci : buku cerita bergambar, Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, pengembangan.   ABSTRACK The aims of this research are to (1) describe the characteristics of teachers and students’ need to a picture book with Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur base for Javanese Language learning process in SMP Kota Semarang, (2) to make a picture book prototype with Serat Wulangreh Pupuh base, and (3) describe the expert validation outcome about a picture book prototype with Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur base. This research uses research and development. The research stages were potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation and design revisions. The data in this study are mandated by Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur and the need for a picture book based on Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur. Sources of data from this study are Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, teachers and students. The technique of collecting data uses interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis in this study is descriptive qualitative. This research produces a picture book entitled Sinau Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur as teachers and students’ need. After this book is created, there would be a validity test by the material and media experts to have suggestion and revision. The scope of suggestion and revision by the experts are material, serving, and graphics. Keywords: a picture book, Serat Wulangreh Pupuh Pangkur, development.

Mathematics is a lesson that is still a frightening specter for some students. There are several methods used to make mathematics fun to learn. One of them is to package material in mathematics to be more attractive and interesting, especially for children this can make them become interested in learning mathematics. The developed using research and development methods. This method begins by exploring the problem, collecting data needed, designing the product to be developed, validating the product design, testing the use of the system to be developed, revising the product, testing the product, revising the product and product design if there are errors or deficiencies and the last is mass production of product. This research aims to develop an interactive multimedia-based mathematics learning which can later be optimized to increase student interest in learning mathematics and be used to improve the quality of education.

This research is a research and development which is aimed to produce a certain product or develop an existing product including test its effectiveness. The research and development procedures are included in stages such as: Potential and problems; Data collection; Product design; Design validation; Design revisions; Product I trial; Product I revision; Trial usage; Product Revision II; Mass product. The data analysis resulted as follows (1) in the teaching materials that have been developed on the subject matter of additives and addictive substances based on BSNP, (a) the aspects of content worthiness is 3.65 of mean, (b) the aspects of language worthiness is 3.70 of mean, (c) the aspects of the feasibility of serving with is 3.60 of mean, those score are valid and don’t need any revision and it is very decent. (2) It is the students understanding who use the material that has been developed, it obtained an average of 80.21. However the understanding of students who did not use the teaching materials developed just obtained an average of 65.00. This result shows that the understanding of students using the developed teaching materials is higher than without using developed teaching materials.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat yang dapat digunakan guru TK dalam pembelajaran kesehatan. Modul pembelajaran yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai tambahan referensi guru TK tentang pembelajaran perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Penelitian ini melalui sepuluh tahapan dengan mengadaptasi penelitian dan pengembangan pendidikan model Borg & Gall. Langkah-langkah penelitian dan pengembangan sebagai berikut: (1) potensi dan masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, (5) revisi produk, (6) uji coba produk, (7) revisi produk, (8) uji coba produk, (9) revisi produk, (10) produksi masal. This study was a research and development conducted in tenssteps by adapting educational research and development according to Gall, Gall, & Borg’s model. This was a research and development study employing the steps of: (1) potentials and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) product revision, (6) product tryout, (7) product revision, (8) product tryout, (9) product revision, and (10) mass production. The result of the study is a module of clean and healthy life behavior for the Group B Kindergarten that is in accordance to the Educational Unit Level Curriculum (KTSP, Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan) and the growth and development characteristics. Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a good learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential. But so far the teacher only uses textbooks only to provide material and questions without training students' pronunciation, because in the textbooks the pronunciation is small and even the teacher doesn't pay attention to students in pronunciation. So that development is needed for the learning process. This study aims to develop a Worksheet based on Phonetic transcription class X MA MA'arif Roudlotut Tholibin 28 Purwosari north Metro. This research is a research and development study. The steps in this research are: Potential and Problems, Data Collection, Product Design, Product Revision, Product Validation, Product Trial, Revision After Trial. The results of this study in the form of a Phonetic transcription class X-based Science Worksheet can be used in the learning process at MA Ma'arif Roudlotut Tholibin 28 Purwosari north Metro, based on responses and validator ratings of the developed teaching materials, obtained results categorized as good.  This shows that teaching materials developed based on phonetic transcription in class X can be used as teaching materials for MA MA'arif Roudlotut Tholibin 28 Purwosari north Metro students.

Along with the advancement and the changing of times, the quality of learning process becomes a demand that must be achieved.The learning process implemented should be student centred so as to improve the quality of education. In order to achieve meaningful learning process, the scientific approach is appliedso that the learners can find their own concepts in learning by the guidance of theirteacher. The teacher only holds a role as a facilitator in learning. Along with the spiritof the governmentin applying the scientific approach in the 2013 curriculum, it is still questionable whetherthe scientific approach implementation will have an impact on improving learning outcomes or not. The documents of previous studies are used in this study. The data collection is obtained through google scholar by browsing the electronic journals. From the search results obtained, 10 research journals areanalysed further in the form of percentage (%). Based on the results of the analysis, the scientific approach is able to improve learning outcomes, ranging from the lowest 2% to the highest 34,51% with an average of 23,35%.

This study aims to determine the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model in basic accounting subjects and to find out the development of the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model can improve student achievement in basic accounting subjects. This study uses R&D (Research and Development) with reference to Sugiyono's theory which consists of six steps, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and product testing. The population in this study were all students of class X Accounting at SMK Negeri 3  Serang City. The results of this study indicate that the assessment given by the material/content expert by lecturers and teachers. The results of the teacher's expert assessment of the material aspects and the truth of the content get a score of 3,3 in the valid category. The results of the lecturer's expert assessment of the material aspects and the truth of the content got a score of 3,3 in the valid category. The results of product trials in students get a score of 3,2 in the valid category. As for student achievement in the learning process with an average pretest score of 53 and a postest score of 85, there was an increase of 32.

The purpose of this study was to reveal the role of students as agents of change in improving the quality of education in the Batang Kuis sub-district. This study used qualitative methods, observations and interviews as techniques in data collection in this study. The results of this study are that students are agents who have more thoughts to lead to changes that are beneficial to the surrounding community in many ways. As stated in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which explains about education and teaching which is something that students do, namely studying on campus and off campus and being able to implement the knowledge they have acquired to many people. Second, regarding research and development, subordinate students have an obligation to be able to research any problems that occur in the community, especially in the field of education, so that when students understand the problems that occur in society, students must develop community resources and the potential of the students themselves to implemented for the general public. Finally, community service is that students must be able to provide a positive side such as providing socialization to the community about something new and students can be a mouthpiece for community aspirations.

This study determined the management competence of principals in improving the quality of education in SD Negeri 1 Epil, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. This research method is a qualitative descriptive. Sources of data in this study were teachers who assisted in the learning process at SD Negeri 1 Epil, Lais District, Musi Banyuasin Regency. Data collection techniques in this study include 1) interviews and 2) documentation. The data analysis used in this study were 1) data reduction, 2) display or presentation of data and 3) conclusions and data verification. The results showed that the management competence of the principal in improving the quality of education in Lais District was good. This paper contributes to upgrade the principal’s management competence in order to improve the quality of education.
