The aim of the research was to determine the effect of  learning models on mathematics achievement viewed from the student creativity. The learning model compared were discovery, group investigation and conventional. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental research. The population was the students of Junior High Schoolin Surakarta city on academic year 2012/2013. The samples of this research were taken by using the stratified cluster random sampling technique. The samples consist of 281 students who were divided into 94 students in the first experiment class, 94 students in the second experiment class, and 93 students in the control class. The results of this research are as follows: (1) the discovery learning model results in better learning achievement than the group investigation and conventional learning model. The group investigation learning model results in an equal learning achievement to the conventional learning model, (2) the students having high level of creativity have better learning achievement than those having medium and low levels of creativity. The students having medium level of creativity have an equal learning achievement to those having low level of creativity, (3) on the discovery learning model, students having high creativity have better learning achievement than those having medium and low levels of creativity and students having medium level of creativity have an equal learning achievement to those having low creativity. On the group investigation model, students in each level of creativity have the same learning achievement, (4) the students who were tought with the discovery learning model have better learning achievement than those taught with the group investigation and conventional learning model in the category of having high level of creativity. The students who were tought group investigation and conventional model results in an equal learning achievement in the category of having high level of creativity. The students having medium level of creativity have an equal learning achievement to those having low level of creativity in each learning model.

Based on the theory, the success of students in learning is determined by learning model applied by the teacher and students’ independent learning skills. This research is a quasi experimental research with pretest and posttest design. The population of this research was students of class XI SMA N 3 Tebo in 2019/2020 academic year. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling. The research instruments used mathematical cognitive tests and student independent learning questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is two-way variance analysis with 3 × 3 factorial design. Based on the results of this researh, we can concluded that (1) There is a difference in the average of students’ mathematics cognitive skills based on the applied learning model, (2) There are differences in the average of students mathematics cognitive learning outcomes based on the level of independent learning, (3) there is no interaction between Discovery learning model and independent learning towards students’ mathematics cognitive skills.

The aim of the research was to determine the effect of learning models on mathematics achievement viewed from the student creativity. The learning model compared were RME with problem solving, RME with problem posing on conventional. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental research. The population was the students of Junior High School in Surakarta city on academic year 2012/2013. The samples of this research were taken by using the stratified cluster random sampling technique. The samples consisted of 269 students who were divided into 90 students in the first experiment class, 90 students in the second experiment class, and 89 students in the control class. The result of research showed that: (1) RME with problem solving provided better learning achievement than RME with problem posing and the conventional model. The RME learning model with problem posing provided better learning achievement than conventional one, (2) the students having high creativity had better learning achievement than those having medium and low creativity. The students having medium creativity had better learning achievement than did those having low creativity, (3) students taught by using RME with problem solving having high creativity level had better learning achievement than those having medium and low creativity level and students having medium creativity level had learning achievement as good as the low creativity level. Students taught by using RME with problem posing and conventional model had equal learning achievement in each level of creativity, and (4) students having high creativity level taught by using RME with problem solving had better learning achievement than those taught by using RME with problem posing and conventional model. Students having high creativity taught by using RME with problem posing and conventional model had equally good learning achievement. Students having medium and low creativity level had equal learning achievement in each learning model.

This study aims "To determine whether there is influence of discovery learning model assisted problem card in a straight motion on the results of study X science class SMA Negeri 1 Mranggen academic year 2014/2015". The population in this study were all class X  SMAN 1 Mranggen Academic Year 2014/2015. Sampling using cluster random sampling technique with the normal condition of all classes and homogeneous. Sampling results obtained by X-class science experiment 1 as a class were treated when learning takes place using discovery learning model and problem cards for class X IPA 2 as the control class is given learning using discuss learning group. Based on the final analysis of the t-test showed that t = 4.6738 while the table = 1.671 with a significance level of 5%. Because thitung > ttable is 4.6738> 1.671 it can be interpreted that the average student learning outcomes experimental class better than the class control. The average value of the experimental class is 77.6316 and 70.6579 as control class. Pursuant to the results of this study concluded that there are significant of discovery learning model assisted problem card in a straight motion on the results of study X science class SMA Negeri 1 Mranggen academic year 2014/2015.

Biology is a science that has fundamental dimensions. Biology studies about living things. One of the things learned in Biology is the concept of Animalia. Inquiry learning model based on the cooperative script. The research referred to quasi-experimental research by applying inquiry learning model based on Cooperative Script in X MIPA 5 class as an experimental class and STAD learning model in X MIPA 1 class as a control class conducted at SMAN 1 Arjasa, Jember in the even semester of 2018/2019 academic year. The inquiry learning model based on cooperative script aimed to improve students' learning achievement. The result of data were analyzed  by using covariance analysis (ANAKOVA) which showed that the inquiry learning model based on cooperative script had a significant effect of p = 0,000 with the results of 49.95 in the control class and 54.12 in the experimental class on students' cognitive of grade X at SMAN 1 Arjasa, Jember. The test results of the independent sample t-test implemented in the invertebrate concept had a significant difference to psychomotor students at p = 0,000 with the results of 80.40 in the experimental class and 67.67 in the control class which revealed that from the results obtained both included in the good category.

This study was conducted to determine the effect of buzz group discussion learning methods on the activeness and learning achievement of physics in class VIII of SMPN 4 Praya Barat Daya 2015/2016 Academic Year. The type of research used in this study is a kind of quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were all eighth-grade students totaling 38 people consisting of class VIII A totaling 20 people as the experimental class and class VIII B totaling 18 people as the control class with the sampling technique used was a saturated sampling technique. The instruments used are valid observation and test sheets both in content, construct, and empirical with a value of 3.34; 3.40; and 3.23, and reliable with the value of αCronbach = 0.608. The results of this study were also able to influence the achievement of learning physics. Based on statistical calculations using the ttest test, the value of tcount = 23.00 is greater than t table = 2.02 (t count = 23.00> t table = 2.02). Thus, it can be concluded that there is the influence of buzz group discussion learning methods on the activeness and learning achievement of physics in class VIII Praya Barat Daya SMP 4 2015/2016 Academic Year.

The objectives of this research are to investigate whether there is difference of influence student learning result after application of cooperative script learning model assisted mind map with direct instruction learning model on the subject of Program Linear class X of SMA Plus Al-Amanah Balongsumber Dander Bojonegoro in the academic year of 2014/2015. This study is a quasi-experimental study using a study design of post-test - only control design. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling technique. The sample in this research is class X-B as an experimental class and class X-C  as the control class. Data mathematics learning result obtained using the technique of tests, and the tests used in the form of an objective test. Data were analyzed by an independent comparative statistical t-test. Based on the research results, it was concluded that: there is a significant difference between students' mathematics learning result that learned through the cooperative scriptlearning model assisted mind map with the students that learned through direct instruction learning. This suggests there are differences in the effect of the cooperative script learning model assisted mind map with direct learning model mathematics instruction on learning result of students on the subject of Program Linear second semester of class X SMA Plus Al-Amanah Bojonegoro.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experimental) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah “posttest-only control group design”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa yang terdiri dari tujuh kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu class random sampling sehingga sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X MIA 5 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIA 6 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik masing-masing 36 orang. Variabel bebas pada penelitian ini adalah model discovery learning yaitu motivasi dan hasil belajar. Data motivasi dan hasil belajar yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Pengujian hipotesis untuk pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan uji-t. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap motivasi hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa (Studi pada Materi Pokok Struktur Atom). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik mengalami kenaikan namun tidak begitu signifikan yaitu 59,25% untuk kelas kontrol dan 60,78% untuk keas eksperimen, sedangkan hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dari 8,33% untuk kelas kontrol dan 44,44% untuk kelas eksperimen. Kata Kunci: Model Discovery Learning, Motivasi, Hasil Belajar ABSTRACT This study is a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental), which is aims to determine the effect of discovery learning model approach toward motivation and learning achievement of student’s class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa. The study design used is "posttest-only control group design". These study population were all the students of class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa which is consists of seven classes. The sampling technique used is class random sampling so that the sample are a class X MIA 5 as an experimental class and class X MIA 6 as control class with the number of students each 36 peoples. The independent variable in this study is discovery learning model and the dependent variable is motivation and learning achievement of student’s. Motivation and learning achievement’s data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Hypothesis test for effect of discovery learning model approach toward motivation of student’s using t-test. The result shown that there is an effect of discovery learning model approach toward motivation and learning achievement of student Class X MIA SMA Negeri 1 Gowa (Study on Stucture Atomic). The results of this research showed that motivation and learning achievement of students increased but not so significant. The average percentage of learning motivation is 59,25% for control calss increase become 60,78% for experiment class while learning achievement of students is 8,33% for control class and 44,44% fot experiment class. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Think Pair Share learning model assisted by comics was more effective than without using comics for the ability to solve mathematical problems. This research is included in quasi-experimental research because it has a control group, but it cannot function fully in controlling external variables that affect the implementation of the experiment. The population of this study was all students of class VII of SMP Negeri 5 Yogyakarta in the second semester of 2018/2019 academic year. The sampling technique used is the Random Cluster technique. The results showed that the TPS-assisted comic-learning model was no more effective than the TPS-without comic-learning model in terms of mathematical problem-solving abilities

Developing the ability of absolute thinking is needed in mathematic class where the subject has a characteristic as a branch of science which the object of study is abstract-natured and related with a pattern of thinking. Basic mathematics is one of the courses that can develop student’s ability to think. The results acquired by the students are still not maximized; this is because the students struggle to develop their own knowledge to form concepts. Student’s activities in the learning process are only skill-natured in solving problems. One of the learning methods that can be implemented is the Modified Moore method. This research aims to discover the effects of mathematical thinking capabilities with the Modified Moore Method towards the learning achievement of Basic Mathematic II of Chemistry study program from the FKIP of Universitas Riau in the even semester of 2013/2014 academic year. The form of this research is a quasiexperimental research. The experiment design used in this research is the Single Group Pretest/Posttest Design which includes Quasi Experimental Design without control group. The population in this research is the students of Chemistry study program from the FKIP of Universitas Riau in the even semester of 2013/2014 academic year. The sample of this research is all students of Chemistry study program from the FKIP of Universitas Riau in the even semester of 2013/2014 academic year consisting 36 peoples. The sample is obtained through purposive sampling technique. Based on data analysis using t test on mathematical thinking capabilities by applying modified Moore Method, it was found that students scores during post test is better than pre-test. The influences of mathematical thinking capabilities with modified Moore Method of the results learning mathematics basic II Chemistry Education in second semester academic year 2013/2014 is equal to 98,85%. It can be concluded that there is an influence on the mathematical thinking capabilities by applying Modified Moore Method towards the students learning achievement of Basic Mathematic II of Chemistry study program from the FKIP of Universitas Riau in the even semester of 2013/2014 academic year.

This study aims to determine the effect of the student team achievement division (STAD) learning model in improving the science learning achievement of class XI students of SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta Indonesia in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research is an experimental research that uses a one group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were 5 emotional and social disorders children in class XI at SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta in the 2020/2021 academic year which were determined using the saturated sampling technique. The research instrument used a written test in the form of multiple choice totaling 25 questions. The results of this study were analyzed by using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Based on the data analysis that has been conducted, it found that the Zcount value = -2.060 with Asymp.Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.039 which is at the significance level (p < 0.05). Based on the results that have been obtained, it shows that the student team achievement division (STAD) learning model has an effect on increasing the science learning achievement of class XI students with SLB E Bhina Putera Surakarta in the 2020/2021 academic year.
