The purpose of this study is to describe how Problem based learning to train student independence. This type of research used a descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using observation and questionnaires. The study was conducted on students who were taking Basic Logic courses, totaling 23 students. Data analysis techniques by data reduction, data presentation, and concluding Problem Based Learning. The results showed that the average implementation of learning with Problem Based Learning was 86.83%, and the learning independence of students from the observations was 62.29% which was included in the good category supported by the results of the questionnaire independence with an average of 70.78% which in the high category. These results indicate that learning by using Problem Based Learning can be used to train student independence. The independence aspect that is emphasized is self-confidence, motivation, have responsibilities, discipline, and initiatives that arise during the learning process. Besides that, by applying the Problem Based Learning, the learning process involves students to take an active part, besides that students are also given more responsibility in the continuity of the learning process and their understanding.

This research was motivated by the readiness of teachers in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum thematic learning at SD Negeri 04 Kriyan Kalinyamatan Jepara. The problem in the research is "how is the readiness of the teacher towards the implementation of the 2013 curriculum thematic learning in class I to IV SDN 04 Kriyan Kalinyamatan Jepara?". The purpose to be achieved in this study is to describe the readiness of teachers in the 2013 curriculum thematic learning at SD Negeri 04 Kriyan Kalinyamatan Jepara. The method in this study is descriptive research that uses a qualitative approach, the subjects in this study were principals and teachers of Public Elementary School 04 Kriyan Kalinyamatan Jepara. The data in the research are all related instruments about the readiness of teachers in the 2013 curriculum thematic learning at SD Negeri 04 Kriyan Kalinyamatan Jepara. Sources of data obtained through questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. Checking data by extending observations, increasing perseverance, triangulating data, peers, holding member checks. while the data analysis techniques go through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification / conclusion. The results of this study indicate that according to the observations I made to different teachers and classes 5 respondents were ready to carry out the 2013 curriculum thematic learning which can be seen from the range of scores that I have analyzed, namely 5 respondents get a range of scores A (Very Good) with scores between 90 ≤ A≤ 100 from the process of implementing learning and learning instruments. Become a researcher through observasil results from the assessment of learning devices and learning implementation instruments. This is to measure the readiness of teachers in the 2013 curriculum thematic learning at SD Negeri 04 Kriyan Kalinyamatan Jepara. Based on the results of this study, the suggestions that can be conveyed are that teachers are more able to increase the creativity of thematic learning with more challenging and maximum readiness in the 2013 curriculum thematic learning process so that it can run well.

This study aim to explain phenomenon of Arab spring that occurred in Syria and describing the triggering factors of conflict Syria and the analysis of Alawie group in Syria. The type of this study uses a qualitative approach with the literature study method, because the data collection techniques used make books and documents related to the Arab spring in Syria as a reference frame, as well as some data from a valid website. Data analysis techniques through three components, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions in which data verification is also accompanied by triangulation of data sources. The results showed that the phenomenon of Arab spring that occurred in Syria converged on inter-ethnic conflict that occurred between the Sunni-Alawie, then triggered by the phenomenon of Arab spring that spread in the Middle East.

This study aims to find out the strategies implemented by the principal in order to improve the quality of tahfizh education in SD PTQ Annida Salatiga. This study is a field study with a qualitative approach. The location of this study is in SD PTQ Annida Salatiga, Central Java. Data collection techniques are through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study include the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. There are 3 aspects that are targeted from improving the quality of tahfizh education. First, the improvement of the quality of human resources in this case is reserved for teachers who support the tahfizh program. This improvement in the quality of human resources is implemented through teacher self-training, learning supervision, lesson study and peer assessment, as well as the construction of recitations. Second, the implementation of standard operating procedures (POS) implemented by tahfizh teachers in teaching. Third, improve communication and good cooperation with parents.

This study aims to determine the potential conflict between Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru after conflict resolution. The research was conducted in the village of Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru, Sijunjung Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach to reveal how the existence of potential conflicts between the two regions today. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, FGD (Focus Group Discusion) and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using data analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Huberman which consisted of three processes, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation of sources. The results of the study showed: The potential for conflict is still stored in the nagari community of Padang Sibusuk and Kampung Baru villages after conflict resolution.  Community leaders to the two parties in conflict have not shown their sincerity together to obey the revolution.   The resolution is only an agreement but to comply with it is far from the expectations of those in conflict.

The purpose of this research is to describe the results of the exploration of ethnomathematics of Sasak culture that can be used as a source of learning mathematics. This type of research is exploratory qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. This research focuses on buildings, crafts, arts, and traditional snacks. The research instrument is the researcher himself. While the method of data collection by interview, field studies, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with triangulation are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Sasak cultural products can be used as a source of learning mathematics, especially on the elements of geometry including rectangles, triangles, trapezoid, circles, rhombus, laying-kites, cones, cylinders, and pyramid. Learning resources derived from Sasak culture, if properly utilized, will create meaningful mathematics learning for students.

This study aimed to determine the efforts of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving students' religious understanding at SMA Negeri 1 Tembilahan. The approach in this study was a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques were data reduction, data presentation, and data verification while checking the validity of the data was expanded participation, observing accuracy, triangulation, and expert consultation. The results showed that teachers had implemented well except for the lack of infrastructure and learning time in optimizing students' religious understanding. Based on this research, the practical implications were used as material to assist teachers in optimizing and new knowledge for teachers so that teachers can improve students' religious understanding.

This study aims to describe the planning, execution, and follow-up of the academic supervision by the principal at SDN 6 Putatsari Grobogan. This research is qualitative. The process of collecting data through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The validity of the data using triangulation, triangulation method, and triangulation of researchers. The results of the research, academic supervision 1. Planning in SD Negeri 6 Putatsari produce, a. Preparation of supervision schedule, b. Preparation of Instrument, c. Compile a list of teachers who would be supervised. 2. Implementation of Academic Supervision in SD Negeri 6 Putatsari, supervisor came to the class with the instruments that have been prepared to make observations of learning while noting the incident in accordance with the instrument. 3. Follow-Up Supervision Academic SD Negeri 6 Putatsari, principal with the teachers held discussions break time in the principal’s office, teachers are given the opportunity to express their opinions about the learning process has been implemented. The headmaster shows the results of further observations provide opportunities for teachers to observe and analyze it.

The background of this research is the importance of applying the skills to open and close lessons in the process of implementing classroom learning. This study aims to describe the teacher's skills in opening and closing learning in the implementation of mathematics learning at SD Negeri 192 Pekanbaru. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subject of the research was the IV grade teacher named Wiki Destalia, S.Pd.I. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the credibility of the data through triangulation and data analysis techniques, namely data management, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results achieved in this study is that the teacher has implemented the skills of opening and closing lessons in the process of implementing mathematics learning, but there are several indicators on the components opening and closing lessons that are rarely even seen by teachers, such as indicators of student interaction with students very rarely seen, giving rise to motivation that the indicator presents contradictory ideas to provoke students 'interest in learning material and pay attention to students' interests.

This study aimed to describe the social capital of the community in developing educational facilities in SD Negeri 005 State Petapahan Jaya, Kampar District. With the reality of a heterogeneous population inhabited by self-employed trans-migrants consisting of Sundanese, Batak, Minang, Malay, and Javanese. Economically the village had developed significantly, especially since the opening of the Palm Oil plantation. This research used a qualitative approach. Data collection was done through observation, interviews and document use. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that there were three elements of community social capital in developing educational facilities in SD Negeri 005 Petapahan Jaya, Kampar Regency: (1) Social Networking, in the form of community participation and solidarity (2) Trust in the form of honesty and cooperation (3) The existence of norms that jointly owned.

This research aims to see the implementation of WhatsApp media in EFL Classroom. Researcher used qualitative descriptive data collection through observation to see the learning process that took place in WhatsApp group, then interviewed students and teacher, and finally documentation. Data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. From the research results, it can be seen that the learning process is divided into three stages, namely: 1) Planning, 2) Implementation which is divided into three stages, namely: opening, core and closing activities and 3) evaluation. In this case, students can still participate in the learning process using WhatsApp group and easily accessible, save quota and also have various features that teacher can choose to use in the learning process such as WhatsApp groups, chat messages, document files, videos or photos. In addition, there are still obstacles that faced by teacher and students such as teacher cannot observe directly, learning is not optimal, poor internet network, full cellphone memory or lack of understanding of the material.
