The current challenges of linguistic globalization have increased the attention of researchers to professional training of specialists in linguistics. A detailed analysis of relevant scientific works on comparative pedagogy has shown that the problem in question in foreign experience, in particular in the UK, has not been sufficiently justified by Ukrainian researchers. Therefore, the article aims to analyze and justify the content of professional training for specialists in linguistics at the UK universities. The following research methods have been used to achieve the above-mentioned aim: analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, structural-functional, comparative-pedagogical, exploratory, prognostic. A detailed study of content characteristics of professional training for linguists at the UK universities has proved that both the structurization and selection of training content rely on the competency-based approach, the principles of subject-specific specialization, interdisciplinarity, modularity, electiveness, fundamentalization. The structure of degree programmes consists of compulsory and optional courses, as well as dissertation preparation. Compulsory courses cover the key areas of linguistics (phonetics, phonology, semantics, morphology, syntax, pragmatics). Optional courses are focused on different linguistic fields (neurolinguistics, applied linguistics, cognitive linguistics, communicative linguistics, forensic linguistics). It must be noted that a wide range of optional courses highlights the innovativeness of the UK approach to student autonomy, given that British educators consider students as the full participants in the educational process, who can choose their own path to achieve expected learning outcomes due to the constructive and effective content of degree programmes in linguistics. This article does not disclose all the aspects of the problem in question. Consequently, further research should aim to substantiate the main characteristics of doctoral degree programmes in the field of linguistics at the UK universities.

Abstract The article analyzes the goals, objectives and content of professional training for international communication specialists in the UK universities. It is found that professional training of international communication specialists aims to prepare a competent and competitive expert under the rapidly changing requirements of British society and the international labour market. They are expected to have the relevant basic professional knowledge, practical abilities and skills (leadership and managerial skills, high-level political and information culture, active social position, high responsibility, willingness and capacity for self-study). It is indicated that British degree programmes mainly seek to train specialists based on interdisciplinary and competency-based principles, focusing on learning outcomes. Upon the successful completion of the degree programme, the graduate must possess not only theoretical knowledge but also special and general abilities and skills, which are necessary for effective functioning in various contexts of public life. It is specified that in the context of competency-based approach, the UK higher education aims to develop future specialists’ ability to independently acquire new knowledge throughout life, identify and realize their own intellectual and creative potential, strive for self-determination, social integration and self-development, which creates relevant conditions for acquiring high-level professional competency in general and nurture professional culture in particular. It is concluded that British degree programmes in international communication consist of compulsory and optional modules. Each university is entitled to choose the number and content of compulsory and optional modules in accordance with the directions of scientific research of the department and scientific interests of students and lecturers.

The realization of complex coordination presupposes the participation of sensor systems (analyzer systems), which are visual, auditory, tactile, vestibular, and motor systems. The basic speech component of complex coordination in coaches’ activity/behavior determines his/her communicative orientation in the process of teaching. It is explained by the connection between the cultivation of complex coordination skills with the congenital and genetic, anatomical and physiological particularities of the human organism. The author of article analyzes the peculiarities of the professional training of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature on the base of interdisciplinary integration. Lilik O. O. explores the problem of the definition of integration in scientific literature, she describes different levels and ways of interdisciplinary integration in vocation training. The author of the article considers interdisciplinary integration within the framework of professional training of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature at three levels, namely: as integration of content (level of separate disciplines (historical-literary and theoretical-literary, as well as pedagogical and methodical) and educational material); as an integration of methods of activity (ability and skills to operate with material during training, as well as further professional activity); as an integration of values and worldviews (the level of personal and professional worldview of students), the result of which are formed general and professional competencies. The first way is interdisciplinary integration within the classroom (lectures, practical, and laboratory). The second way is integration within the independent work of students. The third way for interdisciplinary integration is the research activities of students, including the writing of term papers and qualifications, which can be performed at the intersection of several scientific and educational disciplines. The fourth way of implementing interdisciplinary integration is the students’ participation in additional forms of organization of the educational process - special seminars, trainings, workshops, master classes, round tables, which can be held within grant activities or be a form of self-education of future vocabulary teachers. The fifth way is educational work at the faculty or the university in general, which involves the organization of various activities. On the basis of the conducted researches Lilik O. О. comes to the conclusion that interdisciplinary integration can be a catalyst for the educational process in higher education, provide comprehensive and thorough training of future teachers of Ukrainian language and literature for professional activities, as it covers a wide range of issues: from theoretical knowledge and practical skills to their personal and professional worldview.

The article shows the content, features, and results of the implementation of these conditions. Research results. The article deals with current methods and techniques that provide effective professional training of management students in the system of secondary vocational education, who are able to detect and formulate professional tasks and find ways to solve them. On the basis of the philosophical understanding of reflection, the content of reflexive skills aimed at discovering meanings in their own activities and in the “teacher – student” interaction is determined. The conditions for the formation of reflexive skills in the pedagogical process are revealed: creation and implementation of the typology of reflexive tasks; creation of a dialogic context in educational activities based on construction of the process of solving educational tasks; ensuring personal acceptance of the subject of a reflexive task; filling an educational process with a reflexive component; creation and implementation of the mechanism for development of reflexive skills among future managers in the SPE system. The results of the formation of reflexive skills in the system of secondary vocational education are presented. Conclusion. SummaryFeedback is an essential part of the learning process. Feedback can be positive or negative, constructive or destructive, minimal or in depth. It must always occur and should never be ignored. The role of effective feedback is critical in the modern postgraduate medical educational process in the UK, with its emphasis on competency-based curricula and workplace-based assessment. Feedback is not new in medical education and has been shown in research to be effective in bringing about change, particularly improvement in clinical performance. There are clear principles and features of good and bad feedback and these are highlighted, along with descriptions of models for use in daily practice.

The use of information technologies results in rethinking of existing approaches to organizing the educational process of higher school especially when it comes to training future IT-specialists. Information technologies integrated into all spheres of human activities and widely applied to support different industries in commercial, private and public sectors cause ever-growing demand for highly-qualified IT-specialists. In the study the authors consider the range of learning strategies used in the educational process for boosting effectiveness of IT-specialists’ digital competence formation as the main indicator of their professionalism in IT-sphere. The study was carried out among 164 future IT-specialists at three higher education institutions in Ukraine from February to May 2019. The researchers found out that all the respondents used contemporary information technologies for learning IT-disciplines, namely, all the students (100.00%) use contemporary information technologies in their formal learning, 68.80% − in their non-formal learning, 18.30% − in a wide range of educational activities that could be regarded as informal learning and only 13.20% − combining informal and non-formal learning. The obtained data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. As the core result of conducted research the component matrix of learning strategies was developed showing their hierarchy depending on three factors chosen i.e. traditional, self-directed and collaborative learning.
