This study aims to determine: (1) how to implement comic media of mathematics learning in primary school, (2) whether the comic media can help in improving the quality of mathematics learning in primary schools. This research is a qualitative research. This research contains of three sub researches. The comic media that is implemented is an educational comic media. The comic media is implemented in CTL with talking stick variation, Pjbl model with bamboo dancing variation, and CTL model with snowball throwing variation . Comic media developed adapted to the learning model used. Because the learning model used is different, the mathematics learning syntax of the three sub researches is also different. The three sub researches obtaining the same result. Comic media can help in improving the quality of mathematics learning in elementary school even though implemented with different learning model. The conclusions of this research are (1), Comics are given at the beginning of the lesson and students try to understand the material and construct the concept through comics.,(2) Comic media can assist in improving the quality of mathematics learning.

AbstractLearning should begin with the introduction of problems or by raising more real problems by linking learning to everyday life. This is what encourages researchers to identify the perceptions of elementary school students in studying fractions in primary schools. So the lecturer can equip the skills of teaching the fractional material that should be owned by a teacher in primary school. The long-term goal of this research is to design textbooks in which there is fractional material for elementary school students. Target in particular of this research will be used as an ingredient in teaching materials of Mathematics Education I. The method that will be used in this research is qualitative research. Researchers used interview, test, observation and documentation methods to collect data to identify primary school students' perceptions of fractional learning. After getting the results, the data is analyzed by reducing the data, presenting the data, and summarizing the data.

In our research we examined how the impact of implementation blended learning using multimedia articulated storylines, In this case, it is also discussed how the influence of multimedia articulation storylines as one of the multimedia that can be developed easily to help teachers in distance learning, especially mathematics learning in schools. Primary school related to fraction learning. In this research, students are taught how to interpret the understanding of the concept of fraction problems and proof in life related to mathematics learning problems, so that they can describe mathematical problems and can understand the concept of fractions using logical reasoning so that they are able to prove reasoning about fraction problems according to their abilities. The use of reasoning is needed to determine the concepts that have been made based on the understanding of the concept of fractions that the students have. This study was designed to see the effect of blended learning which is applied as a learning model used to teach logical reasoning in mathematics learning, especially about fraction problems, and how the effect of the application of blended learning on learning outcomes of primary school students at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Pangkalpinang

This study aimed to determine the age at menarche and its influencing factors and the pattern of menstrual cycles in elementary school students in Medan. Subjects were 227 female students in six primary schools (private and government) in Medan municipal, during October until November 1995. Most students experienced menarche in government primary school (GPS: 35.8%) and private primary school (PPS: 24%), at the age of 10-12 years. The mean age at menarche of these students in government primary school was 11.41 (SD 0.95) years while in private primary school it was 10.65 (SD 0.78) years. Subjects who had had menarche had better nutritional status than who had not (p<0.001). Sports activities are also associated with age at menarche (p<0.001). On the other hand family's economical status and maternal age at menarche were not significantly associated with age at menarche (p>0.05). Most students who had had menarche had regular menstrual cycle; the duration of menarche was 4-6 days for GPS and 3 days for PPS. Dysmenorrhea was a common finding in the first three months of menstruation cycle but gradually diminishing with time. The duration of menstrual cycle was 25-34 days. These findings are useful as a guide for the parents, especially when mothers planning the best time/ the moment to discuss about reproduction and sexual counseling with her daughter.

Introduction. It has long been established that school climate can influence the course and outcomes of education, but the findings of previous research are inconsistent as to which elements of school climate are crucial for positive outcomes. This paper provides a more detailed insight into the individual contribution of the dimensions and determinants of school climate for adaptive functioning of students. Objective. The objective of the research was to consider the patterns of the relationship between the quality of school climate and its determinants (program, process and material) and adaptive characteristics of students. Methods. The research was conducted in five primary schools in Belgrade. The Charles F. Kettering, Ltd. - CFK School Climate Profile was used to assess school climate, and the TRF Adaptive Functioning Profile was used to assess adaptive characteristics of students. Both questionnaires were completed by primary school teachers. Results. Positive correlations were found between the quality of school climate, program, process and material determinants, on the one hand and, on the other hand, adaptive characteristics of students. Based on the results of regression analysis, the program determinants of school climate were singled out as the only significant predictor. Conclusion. The results of this research confirm that a good school climate, and especially school programs and practices in the domain of learning and teaching, can contribute to adaptive characteristics of students. Based on the obtained results, the paper describes the implications for future research and practice in this field.
