This study aims to formulate a stakeholder management strategy that has a major influence in decision making on the determination of exclusion policies for industrial companies located within industrial estates. The stakeholder analysis method used is MACTOR (Matrix of Alliances and Conflicts: Tactics, Objectives and Recommendations). The results of the analysis show that coordination and synergy between stakeholders have not been effectively implemented due to the pattern of convergence and divergence among stakeholders which tends to be divided into 2 (two) groups. To reduce divergence between stakeholders, the role of key legislators needs to be improved so that the regulation can be issued soon. Metode analisis stakeholder yang digunakan adalah MACTOR (Matrix of Alliances and Conflicts: Tactics, Objectives and Recommendations).

Television channels for children contain many cartoons and programs. These productions reach the viewers via both the television and the channel's official website. TRT Çocuk, broadcasting for children as a government television channel, presents many locally produced animated cartoons to the viewers. A product of the modern and digital technology, these locally produced cartoons carry importance in terms of transfer of social values. This study focuses on locally produced animation cartoons that have an important potential especially in the transfer of national and moral values. Determination of values conveyed via cartoons that bear importance in the transformation of television into an educational tool allows the media and child relationships to become visible. This work aims to examine the relationship between media and values by defining the concept of “value.” After creating a corporate frame, the study brings to light the social values conveyed in locally produced cartoons aired on TRT Çocuk television channel via qualitative analysis method.

This study focuses on emphasizing the instrumental role of stakeholder analysis and the concept of business ecosystem. Specifically, a stakeholder relationship might provide the channel for the particular instrumental targets of a business subset. This kind of stakeholder management is based on a principal-agent relationship between industry actors. However, this example, which focuses on horse entrepreneurs and the infectious diseases of this subset of the equine industry, shows that instead of a simple principal-agent relationship, stakeholder management might yield a chain of principal-agent relationships in the form of a principal-agent/principal-agent relationship (for example, one or more of the stakeholders simultaneously takes on the role of both agent and principal). According to the analysis, horse entrepreneurs have this kind of double role in stakeholder management for the prevention of infectious diseases.

Purpose: to work out strategy of external communications system’s improvement of population physical health and determine students’ role in optimization of this system. Material: we questioned 136 centers’ functionaries and 338 representatives of groups of influence. SWOT-analysis was used. With the help of SWOT-analysis method we simulated 16 the most probable situations and strategic actions in case of their occurrence. For determination of experts’ opinions concordance, we used concordance coefficient in SWOT-analysis. Results: we found strong and weak sides of external communication centers’ system, favorable opportunities and threats of this system. Strategies of centers’ behavior in the most probable situations were worked out and students’ youth role in them analyzed. It was determined that in every simulated situation participation of students-volunteers of physical culture-sports profile was very important. We also noted demand in increase of personnel’s competence level, in attraction of specialists from other organization. Conclusions: in conditions of limited resources and breadth of functioning the centers shall actively use students’ assistance in organization and realization of different measures; attract them as consumers of the centers’ services.

Purpose Stakeholder relations has been largely based upon a two-way public relations model. Along with this change, business diplomacy emerged as a proposal to renew stakeholder management. It is still uncertain if this proposal adds value to stakeholder management, which this study seeks to clarify. Design/methodology/approach Corporate representatives in charge of stakeholder management were invited to participate in an online survey measuring both public relations and business diplomacy activities. With a sample of 104 companies, factorial analyses were conducted on public relations and business diplomacy activities comparing model quality. Findings This study finds that public relations and business diplomacy activities share identity but not to the point of being fused and are thus different in nature. The best model showed three overarching functions (communication, influence and intelligence) implying that stakeholder management needs both public relations and business diplomacy. Research limitations/implications Findings suggest both public relations and business diplomacy research should be included in advanced stakeholder management studies. Practical implications By acknowledging the role that business diplomacy plays in stakeholder management, companies may place influence at the core of the renewed stakeholder management strategy to better deal with the increasingly complex business environment. Originality/value This study adds clarity to the role of public relations and business diplomacy in stakeholder management based on actual activities developed in organizations and reveals the underlying dimensions of communication, influence and intelligence.

The ever-increasing volume of municipal waste in Yogyakarta brings overload capacity problems to the Piyungan Landfill. This circumstance results in environmental pollution which harms the local residents. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the impact of pollution in the Piyungan Landfill from an economic, environmental, and social perspective. Furthermore, this study aims to formulate a waste management strategy in the landfill using the fishbone analysis to find out the root causes of existing problems, the stakeholder analysis method to determine the role of each stakeholder involved, and the SWOT analysis method to determine potential strategies for waste management. From those analysis methods, it is concluded that there are six root causes in the landfill, namely the waste management process, the amount of waste, landfill facilities, the technology used, the implementation process, and government policies. This study recommends several waste management improvements from the combination of strengths and opportunities factors (SO Strategy). The combination of these strategies includes: (1) establishing cooperation policies with foreign parties. (S1, O1); (2) optimizing budget and waste management technology. (S2, O2); (3) providing transportation facilities and technology to optimize the recycled waste business. (S3, O2, O3); and (4) maximizing resources to optimize the recycled waste business. (S4, O3).
Research on the development conditions of the Samiran Boyolali (Dewi Sambi) tourism village based on the TALC (Tourism Area Life Cycle) analysis theory is a descriptive qualitative study. The research location was determined purposively in Samiran Village, with the consideration that the Samiran tourism village was the first tourism village formed in Selo District together with the Lencoh tourism village in 2002. The purpose of this study was to investigate the process of empowering Dewi Sambi and identify the development of Dewi Sambi based on theory TALC. The determination of the informants was carried out by purposive sampling for key informants, while the advanced informants used snowball techniques based on recommendations from key informants. The number of informants in this study were 7 people including community leaders, village heads, managers, and members of Dewi Sambi. The data analysis technique of this research used the interactive inductive analysis method. Meanwhile, the validity of research data uses triangulation of sources and informant reviews. The results showed that the process of empowering Dewi Sambi went through 3 stages, namely the stage of awareness, breathing and power. These three stages were passed with the result that most of the people of Samiran Village joined Dewi Sambi and negative behavior began to wear off. The results of research on the development conditions of Dewi Sambi based on TALC, show that this tourism village is in a consolidation phase. The main characteristics that appear are the implementation according to regulations, the number of tourists fluctuating but tends to increase according to tourist visit chart, and the role of the ministry or government to improve services to tourist guests.

The role of glycoconjugates in tumor cell differentiation has been well documented. We have examined the expression of the two anomers of the Thomsen-Friedenreich antigen on the surface of human, canine and murine tumor cell membranes both in vitro and in vivo. This has been accomplished through the synthesis of the disaccharide terminal residues in both a and ß configuration. Both entities were used to generate murine monoclonal antibodies which recognized the carbohydrate determinants. The determination of fine specificities of these antibodies was effected by means of cellular uptake, immunohistopathology and immunoscintigraphy. Examination of pathological specimens of human and canine tumor tissue indicated that the expressed antigen was in the β configuration. More than 89% of all human carcinomas tested expressed the antigen in the above anomeric form. The combination of synthetic antigens and monoclonal antibodies raised specifically against them provide us with invaluable tools for the study of tumor marker expression in humans and their respective animal tumor models.
