Mucositis is very common in children with cancer who received chemotherapy. Mucositis in children renders other health problems such as pain, eating problems, insomnia, and emotional problems that directly determine children’s quality of life. The purpose of this research was to identify how the effects of mucositis on quality of life in children with cancer who received chemotherapy. The method used in this research is correlative descriptive analytic with cross-sectional design. Samples taken in this research utilized consecutive sampling technique. The children with cancer who met the inclusion criteria were approached to participate in this research. Sixty children with cancer hospitalized in Dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital Bandung recruited in this research. Mucositis identification utilized Oral Assessment Guide (OAG). Data quality of life (QoL) would be assessed with PedsQoL Cancer Module 3.0. Data were analyzed by Chi-square correlation test. There are 53 children (88.3%) who experienced mucositis. In contrast, there are only 7 children who didn’t experience mucositis (11.7%). Based on this survey, there are 37 children (61.7%) have bad quality of life. Otherwise, 23 children (38.3%) have good quality of life. This research found that there is a significant relationship between mucositis and QoL of children with cancer. Accordingly, the relationship between mucositis cases and QoL of children with cancer valued at 0.006 (p<0.05). Mucositis cause low QoL in children with cancer compared to them without mucositis. Nurse should increase nursing care for children with mucositis as the side effect of chemotherapy. Suggested efforts are to prevent mucositis complication that will impact QoL, such as giving oral care with honey, keeping humid oral mucosa, and preventing infection

Background: In Indonesia, the prevalence of cancer up to 1.4 per 1000 population. Acute lymphocyte leukemia is one of type of cancers. Sspirituality is an element that increasing and is recognized by many patients with the disease at an advanced stage. Assessment of spirituality in children acute lymphocyte leukemia had ever done by the researcher before shows that spirituality contributes a positive influence to the coping and the achievement of adaptation. Aim of this research was to know how the relationship between spirituality with quality of life in children with cancer.Methods: This study used a mixed design (mixed method), with sequential explanatory strategy. Quantitative approach to the cross-sectional design and in- depth interviews in qualitative data collection. Research has received permission from the The Medical and Health Research Ethics Committee (MHREC).Results: There is a relationship between spirituality and the quality of life of children with cancer with a total value of p=0.001. Spirituality related to the children quality of life emotional, school, and physical domains with each value of p=0.001, p=0.026, p=0.028. Spirituality is not related to the social domains with p=0.054. Qualitative analysis shows that there are six categories from in-depth interviews, that is namely; prayer as a healing pain, the joy and gratitude; the interaction of the source of happiness; loneliness sadness source; socialitation with the enviroment; seek help in overcoming difficulties.Conclusions: There was correlation between spirituality and quality of life of children with cancer.

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) is a progressive and irreversible disorder of renal function, in which the body's ability to fail to maintain metabolism and balance of fluids and electrolytes, causing uremia. The purpose of this study in general was to determine the relationship between hemoglobin levels and quality of life in chronic kidney disease patients undergoing hemodialysis at dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu. This type of research is descriptive analytic with cross sectional approach. The study sample was 64 patients with CKD who underwent hemodialysis at the hemodialysis installation with accidental sampling technique. The results showed that most patients with chronic kidney disease who underwent haemodialysis (71.9%) had severe anemia and most (56.3%) had a poor quality of life. Chi square test results obtained ρ value 0,000 (α = 0.05). Conclusion, There is a statistically significant correlation between anemia and quality of life in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis in the RDUD Dr. Hemodialysis room. M. Yunus. Suggested to Dr. Hospital M. Yunus Bengkulu to control the incidence and symptoms of anemia experienced by CKD patients. Keywords: Anemia, Hemodialysis, quality of life, CKD

An individual's ability or self-empowerment of the elderly in meeting needs, solving problems, utilizing existing resources for their lives. Self empowerment experienced by the elderly causes changes in the quality of life. The purpose of the study was to identify the relationship between self-empowerment and the quality of life of the elderly in RW 02, TKK sub-district/district, Surabaya City. This research uses cross sectional approach and correlational method. The independent variable is self-empowerment and the dependent variable is quality of life. The population in this study were all elderly who were in the RW 02 area, TKK sub-district/district, Surabaya as many as 34 elderly. Sampling used a total sampling technique, namely 34 respondents. The measuring instrument used is the WHOQOL questionnaire and the self-empowerment questionnaire. The results of the study were statistical tests using chi-square and showed that there was a significant relationship (p = 0,000) and was a strong relationship (r = 1,000) between self empowerment and the quality of life of the elderly in RW 02, TKK sub-district/district, Surabaya City. Problems that arise in the elderly include the inability to access health services, no old-age insurance and lack of social support. As a result of these problems, the elderly feel powerless and useless (lack of self-empowerment) in everyday life.                     Keywords: Self Empowerment, Quality of Life, Elderly

Hypertension is the highest prevalence of visits every year. Data from the Health Office in Padang in 2013 showed that the visit of hypertension sufferers in 2013 was the highest visit with 6,714 new hypertension case visits and 35,054 old case visits. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research in the context of maintaining health for BPJS Health participants who suffer from chronic diseases to achieve optimal quality of life, especially hypertension. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of life of hypertension sufferers of Prolanis participants in Padang Utara District, Padang City. The study was conducted with a cross sectional design of hypertension disease prolanis participants in the district of Padang Utara, Padang City in 2017 as many as 126 people. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately with Chi-square test. The results showed that most hypertension sufferers aged ≥60 years old, low educated, female sex, low education, married status and long suffered from hypertension <10 years. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between marital status and the quality of life of hypertensive illnesses of prolanis participants in Padang Utara Subdistrict, Padang City. It is suggested that the Puskesmas formulate efforts to prevent hypertension and be a source of data for research organizations and other parties involved in preventing hypertension.

One complication of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus that affects the peripheral nervous system is Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). PAD can be detected by checking the Ankle Brachial Index (ABI). PAD diagnostic tests with greater ABI accuracy are likely to reflect changes in a person's quality of life related to the conditions experienced. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between ABI values with the quality of life of people with DM. This type of research is analytic (survey) using a cross sectional approach. In 2020 the spread of Covid-19 from person to person will be the main source of transmission, so the spread will become more aggressive. The enormous ability of this virus to infect and spread is evidenced by the note that so far there are still many people infected with Covid-19 with an increasing number. Cases in Indonesia also continue to increase, until March 29, 2020, there have been 1,115 cases with 102 deaths, while the largest number of cases of the COVID-19 outbreak in Yogyakarta is in Bantul district, Banguntapan sub-district with a total ODP of 150 people, PDP (1 died, 1 recovered, 6 are positive, and 24 are still under surveillance). To determine the relationship between COVID-19 prevention behavior and quality of life in Dusun Mutihan RT 5 Wirokerten, Banguntapan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique in this study was random sampling with as many as 65 samples taken. Based on the statistical results using the chi-square test, it was obtained X2 count of 28.502a, a P value of .000 (P-0.10) which indicates that there is a relationship between covid-19 prevention behavior and quality of life in Mutihan village rt 05 Banguntapan Bantul Yogyakarta. THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FAMILY SUPPORT AND THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF PEOPLE WITH MENTAL DISORDERS  ABSTRACTMental disorder is one of the most serious health problems. Families have to spend more time to provide care to People with Mental Disorders at home. People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ) usually have problems with quality of life. The study aimed to determine the relationship between family support and the quality of life of People with Mental Disorders / ODGJ. This research is a quantitative research by using cross-sectional design with correlative analytic method. The sample of the research were 39 people selected by non probability sampling technique of purposive sampling. Data collection of respondent characteristics was conducted by using questionnaire of respondent characteristics. The level of family support was assessed by using family support questionnaires proposed by Friedman and the quality of life of the respondents was measured using the SQLS questionnaires. The findings showed that good and moderate family supports have the same percentage of 35.9%, while the results of the quality of life score showed that the majority of respondents had good quality of life (82.1%). Based on the analysis by using Spearman-Rank test, there is a significant correlation between family support and quality of life of respondents with p = 0,000 (p <0,05) and strong correlation value of 0.618 and positive correlation direction which means if family support increases then the quality of life of respondents will increase and vice versa. The future researchers are expected to exercise control over other factors that may affect the quality of life of People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ).

As people's standard of living increases, the demand for quality health also increases. Patient satisfaction is correlated with the quality of service in the hospital. By understanding the level of patient satisfaction, hospital management can learn and improve service quality. The study aims to determine the relationship between reliability, responsiveness, and empathy aspects with patient satisfaction in Pharmacy Installations at Mitra Medika Amplas Hospital. This research was an explanatory quantitative research with cross sectional design. The sample of this study amounted to 60 people and taken by accidental sampling technique. The data obtained through interviews using a questionnaire. The results showed that the level of patient satisfaction in Pharmacy Installations at Mitra Medika Amplas Hospital on reliability aspect was 63.3%, responsiveness aspect was 56.7% and empathy aspect was 81.7%. Based on the result of the research, the suggestion given to the service provider in this case Mitra Medika Amplas Hospital is to improve the performance of health service especially in Pharmacy Installation service by way of monitoring and evaluating periodically with the implementation of the service, evaluating and developing human resources, and infrastructure. Consumption of iron tablet 1 tablet per day during pregnancy can cause constipation. Based on the results of preliminary study in the Bandar Village, Pacitan through interviews with 14 pregnant women there were 12 pregnant women who consumed iron tablet regularly and 8 pregnant women complain of difficulty to defecate while not experiencing constipation 4 pregnant women. From two pregnant women who did not consume fe tablets they didn’t get constipation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship consuming Fe tablet with constipation in pregnant women. This type of research is quantitative with cross sectional design conducted in March 2016. The population of all pregnant women in Bandar Village Bandar Subdistrict District of Pacitan as many as 33 pregnant women. The respondents ware all pregnant women in the Bandar Village Bandar district Pacitan. Using total sampling technique, the research was conducted on March 1 until March 30, 2016. The variable in this study is the fe tablet intake and incidence of constipation. The research instrument used was observation about fe tablet consumption and interviewing about incidence of constipation. The data were tabulated and analyzed using a statistical test Chi Square test determined significant with p> 0.05. From the results showed that majority of 19 pregnant women (57.5%) consume iron tablet regularly, and majority of 18 pregnant women (54.5%) got constipation. There was a relationship consuming Fe tablet constipation with in pregnant women in the Bandar Village district ofPacitan. Evidenced by the significant level of 0.000> 0.05 so that Ho refused. Based on the results of the study, the researcher suggested to health workers to provide counseling to pregnant women about how to consume tablets fe correetly and balanced with foods contaiming high in fiber.

Diarrhea disease in Indonesia is still one of the endemic diseases and still often causes extraordinary events (outbreaks) in the community. This study aimed to study the relationship between the application of Germas (Community Movement) hands washing with running water and soap simultaneously with the occurrence of diarrhea in SDN 108 students in Seluma Regency. The type of research used was Analytical Survey using Cross Sectional design.. Samples  of  this study were 167 students in grades 4, 5, and 6 of  SDN 108 Seluma Regency. Sampling in this study used a Total Sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study using primary data by interview using a questionnaire. The statistical test used is Chi-Square. The results showed that of 167 students, there were 113 students (67.7%) who did not experience diarrhea, 123 students (73.7%) had poor hands washing with and running water and soap, and there was a relationship between hands washing use soap and running water and soap with diarrhea. Keywords: diarrhea, germas,hands washing, soap
